Guest Reviews
- Diane (10/5): The Coorie Inn is something really special. It was really clean, beautifully decorated and the staff were super friendly - The Coorie Inn is an exceptional hotel. We stayed in the superior room which was really special. I love the mix of the antique furniture along side the modern decor. The bathroom was beautiful and I loved the plants, they make the hotel feel so homely. The food was amazing. We had lunch and breakfast. Breakfast was really good.. a big hearty Scottish breakfast to set us up for the day. What’s not to love.

- Paul (8/5): Fine for a one night stop over - Staff very friendly and accommodating The bedroom and bed were too small for us.
- runningscot (9/5): Very comfortable - The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked.. The bar area and restaurant are lovely. Excellent, if pricey, wine list. Decor throughout exudes country house. It was expensive for a Sunday night in November.

- Karen (9/5): The restaurant surpassed our expectations. - The Coorie Inn restaurant is a hidden and unpretentious little gem. The food is excellent. The bed was also super confortable. Noise from the road, no safe in the room, no body moisturiser
Staying for 3 nights, I would have liked to have seen advocado, poached eggs on sourdough bread on the breakfast menu.

- Nick (10/5): One of the best places we’ve stayed, we’re planning our next visit! - Outstanding hospitality and customer service from the team at the Coorie Inn. The breakfast was standout and the rooms were clean, cosy and warm. Our beds were a little soft for our preference

The food is simply outstanding and sourced locally. It’s reasonably priced and well presented. The wine selection is good and varied for all tastes. The bathroom in our room is compact but fine. The shower could benefit with a shower curtain to keep the water in the shower tray.
- Carine (9/5): Parfait - Tout était parfait. Du service souriant et sympathique à la qualité des produits pour le dîner et le petit déjeuner ainsi que le confort de la chambre Rien

- Brooke (9/5): The perfect gastro pub stay. - This was exactly what we were after - a pub/inn with good accommodation and a great restaurant and bar. We were just there for one night but we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. There is a small bar attached to the property which was also handy.
- Olivia (9/5): Perfect stay, amazing food, fantastic staff - The staff are second to none, absolutely fantastic and make the trip! The food is incredible and the rooms are super comfy. A rare time in Scotland it was actually a little too hot in the night

- Gwen (8/5): Excellent restaurant. Lovely room and great service. Worth a visit. - First class facilities with excellent service. Sunday lunch was a true feast. The accomodation faces onto the main street in Muthill which has a steady flow of traffic.

The owners were on site and were absolutely great hosts. One of our highlights on our vacation. The evening we arrived we were invited to have dinner at the hotel. This is a small establishment and almost has the feel of a bed and breakfast. The meal was home made and was excellent. The included breakfast was prepared for us freshly each morning. The town itself is quite small but does have a fuel station and is interesting to walk around. Would definitely recommend this place.
- Carola (10/5): Exceptional -

The staff were very helpful and friendly (shout out to Jonny for great service!). The dinner was fantastic, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding was amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough - stay here if you’re in the area. You will not be disappointed! And as an extra bonus, the beautiful Drummond Castle Gardens are just a mile away.
- Amy (10/5): - Five star service, beautiful newly renovated rooms, incredible dinner and breakfast. Wish we lived in Scotland so we could return frequently. A true gem on our visit to Scotland.

- Suzymac (10/5): Five stars for every aspect of our stay and meal!! - This hotel was fantastic! The decor, food, convenience and warmth of welcome are all 5 star! Our evening meal, whilst not cheap, was worth EVERY penny / the sort of meal that you didn’t want to finish eating!! Who knew that broccoli could be ‘to die for’!!!! Thoroughly recommend a stay here!! Nothing!
- David (7/5): Good -
- Sylvia (10/5): - This hotel screams old charm with a modern twist in the rooms. if you are travelling further outside the city this place is amazing for the night and the restaurant has some good local eats. its a quiet village but very cute!
- Jamie (7/5): Pleasant and welcoming. - Convenient location, breakfast was amazing and dinner menu looked good. A bit pricey for the lack of facilities and small premises.
- Barry (10/5): Gorgeous Boutique Hotel - Gorgeous Boutique hotel, The room and staff are amazing and really enjoyed my stay here, definitely one for my favourite list
- Dawn (10/5): A great place to stay with fantastic food. - This hotel has been recently refurbished with modern decor retaining some of the original features of the old inn. There is a cosy bar and the restaurant is exceptional, serving modern Scottish food and using local ingredients. The staff are very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about wines and whiskey.Breakfast was a delight again using Scottish foods such as haggis and potato scones if you want them. The bed was a bit small.
- Jess (5/5): Nice room, expensive restaurant - Nice atmosphere and tidy rooms Very expensive drinks and restaurant. Small portions and confusing menu. When asking what the dessert items actually were, the staff couldn't answer.
- Brian (9/5): Worth ANOTHER VISIT - The decor the olde world style, the food was 5 star we liked everything
- Rachael (9/5): Superb - fantastic breakfast, great cozy bar and restaurant without being too tight for space. Rooms were fitted out well and were clean with good showers Slightly pricey
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Melanie (10/5): Owner was very welcoming, chef amazing and a beautiful hotel, highly recommended. - Food was fantastic, their chef is amazing. Staff all lovely and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated from top to bottom. Great location as lots of things to do around the area. The only fault I can say is that no housekeeping the whole of our stay(Sunday - Wednesday) -, toilet rolls and tea/coffee/milk not topped up, bins not emptied. We had to buy our own toilet rolls so a bit disappointing. Should have have mention to reception however mostly out and about so always assumed it would have been done by the time I got back. Will definitely go back but would mention this time if happened again.
- Rebecca (10/5): Wow! What an incredible place, currently the best kept secret! The food is delicious 5*, haven’t slept that well in a lo - Absolutely spotless! I have never been to such a clean hotel. The fit and finish is beautiful Nothing
- Brent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): - Would love to come back!
- Merline (7/5): Great staff and fabulous food - The staff were lovely and the food was great. The room was very small. There is a large plant, very tiny table and chair but absolutely nowhere to sit to do makeup. Also there is no mirror in the room. Rather than try to make it pretty, I would advise it is made more practical. Remove the big plant, tiny table and chairs from the window area and put a small dressing table with a mirror.
- Andrew (10/5): A perfect base to be fed and watered in comfort after a days golf at Gleneagles. - Brilliant customer service from Andrew. Easy to deal with and flexible to react to our needs especially when rearranging our dinner time due to speed of on Gleneagles golf course!
Good size clean rooms with comfortable beds and en suite. Delicious evening meal offering and hearty breakfast. Enjoyed the whole experience.
- Helen (10/5): Lovely overnight stay shall hopefully return. - Location ideal Breakfast most enjoyable . No complaints all good
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Very high standards of service and the food was exceptional. Room lovely too. Nothing
- Helen (10/5): One night stay - The decor is very nice and the food was exceptional. The staff were really attentive and very polite. Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emiko (10/5): Lovely rooms and excellent evening meals - We stayed one night in two rooms - one was with a king size bed and another with two single beds. Both rooms were tastefully decorated and also very clean. The coffee machine in each room was an added bonus. Coorie Inn is located in the centre of Muthill and the bedroom windows are facing to the main road, but we did not feel bothered by the road noise at all during the night (I'm usually sensitive to noise) and slept well. We enjoyed excellent evening meals and breakfast in the restaurant. The staff in the bar and the restaurant staff were all very polite, pleasant and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend Coorie Inn and we will go back when in the area. It didn't affect our stay so it feels almost churlish to mention this here, but a small sign for the car park may be helpful as we somehow drove passed its small entrance, which is right next to the hotel entrance door.
- Agnes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (8/5): - Diner en ontbijt heel lekker, bediening top !

- Julie (10/5): - AN ABSOLUTE GEM!! We enjoyed a delightful stay at this charming boutique style country inn! From our warm and inviting check-in with Lisa (who welcomed us with local knowledge and had even set aside a dinner reservation for us!) to our GORGEOUS and beautifully appointed room (complete with stand alone copper tub!) and then to our exploration of the local area (the immediate area provides picturesque walking and the Gleneagles golf course is quite close) to the FABULOUS food…..I highly recommend you visit this wonderful place in Muthill (Crieff area), UK!!

The breakfast was delicious. Cannot fault anything about it. We wish we could have stayed longer!

- Lynsey (10/5): Great traditional Scottish Hogmanay stay - Lovely cosy little place. Cosy open fire in the bar area. We went for Hogmanay. Staff where very welcoming and accommodating. Moved the breakfast later as it was the morning after our Hogmanay celebrations, which was a god send after a late night. Also, really patient with us checking out a wee bit later.
We didn’t have dinner here but heard the food is great so will come back again to try. Breakfast was delicious and cured our Hogmanay hangovers!
- Nadine (9/5): Relaxing and cosy - They where very attentive , couldn't be any nicer the food was outstanding 👌 x omg the breakfast was outstanding x x The drink prices where very high however that wouldn't stop me staying again
