Room was large and bed linens were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Very nice stay. The cost per night is pretty high and you have to pay extra to park your vehicle in the parking lot.

Staff was friendly and common areas seemed well maintained. Breakfast staff was polite and helpful. Only 1 waffle maker if that’s your thing (long line). Gal at checkout was wonderful. Pool area and bar was nice. Shuttle service they use was helpful and prompt. For what we paid the cleanly of the room was not ok. Dirty walls, dirty/sticky floors, dirty bed covers, room had a smell (musty maybe). The bathroom was clean with no signs of mold. The view of the port was nice. Perhaps housekeeping was short staffed. Not sure but definitely not up to standard.

- Boeing747-8I (8/5): Perfect for a Pre- and/or Post-Cruise Stay - We were very pleased with our stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Cape Canaveral-Cocoa Beach. The reception desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a large living room and kitchen facilities. Bathroom was of good size. The only aspect of this hotel that was lacking from the breakfast that is included. It was not well stocked and they did not have the staff on duty to manage this very busy area. Otherwise, this hotel was very good and a perfect place to be for a pre- and/or post-cruise stay.

The staff obviously is well trained in customer relations. The breakfast also was considerably better than most places where complimentary breakfast is provided. They also had a nice light meal feature on Wednesday night that also is complimentary. The fitness room was well equipped. No real complaints, which is unusual for me!

The rooms are large and well kept, Everything is easy to access and the pool area, breakfast area, and all common areas are awesome. We stayed for a night before a cruise and while the hotel is comfortable, clean and well kept its location leaves a bit to be desired for those of us without a car to get to it. A 5 minute walk to Zarrella’s across the street was where we decided to eat that evening. To do anything else you would have to take an uber. Pros are that it doesn’t get much closer to port as you can see the ships berthed out your windows. But a busy road and proximity to restaurants are a downfall. Crossing the road at the light is recommended for safety’s sake. Additionally, I am not sure why this property costs as much as it does. Since this was our first time in the area for the cruise we chose this property. Overall the staff was pleasant and the property is good. For the price that is charged I am not sure I would go back again.

- Sammyjb19 (10/5): Perfect before cruise. - Great experience! We stayed before a cruise. Room 627 has view of the Port. Breakfast was excellent including waffles, eggs, potatoes, bacon, and more. Parking was $10. Shout out to Dusty for helping with my check-in. Definitely recommend this hotel.

- amysA1076GP (2/5): Unresolved issue and no response from Management - We reserved 2 rooms the night of Oct 25 for one night before a cruise. We have previously stayed at this hotel and never had problems. Until this stay. Our family arrived late in the evening, around 10 to 1030. Upon arriving in our rooms, one room was fine, however, the other room had the ceiling fan blowing at full blast. We called down to the reception to ask how to turn off the ceiling fan. I spoke to Mike, who said that there should be a remote control in the room and we should look for it. We searched all over and never found the remote so we called back to the front desk and asked if they could send someone up who could help us find it or bring us a new one. I spoke to Mike again who said he would be up in the next few minutes. After 15 minutes, no one came so I called back and got a very rushed Mike who said he would send Rick. Rick came up and could not find the remote either and said they didn’t have any other rooms or any spare remotes to turn the ceiling fan off. We told him that we could not have the air blowing on us because one person has severe allergies/asthma and it will make them sick. He said the only alternative we had was to kill the breaker that turned off all the electricity in the room to turn it off. That left us with the choice of either a ceiling fan blowing all night or no electricity in the room at all. I told him that those were very bad options and what do we do if my adult son who was in the bed on the far side of the room had to get up and go to the bathroom? His answer was “ I would hope he’s old enough to sleep through the night.” I didn’t find his rudeness funny. So we chose to cut off the electricity and use our cell phones for light to go to the bathroom. It was inconvenient…this isn’t what you expect from Hilton. Rick said we should speak to the manager, Michael, who had already left, but he said would be back the next morning to see if there was something they could do. We came downstairs the next morning as we were checking out and spoke to Larry, who said the manager Michael was not in that weekend, but he would call us as soon as we returned from our cruise the following week. He took my phone number and the details of our problem and told me we should expect a phone call from Mike/ Michael anytime after 9 o’clock the following Saturday. It’s now been over two months and we still have not heard from Michael. We are diamond members and stay over 80 nights a year at Hilton brand hotels, and have never had this experience, nor this unresponsiveness. As we prepare for another cruise, we will be staying at a different hotel in Port Canaveral.

- Narda (9/5): Our stay at Homewood Suites - Close proximity to Port Canaveral, our driver Keoki that was recommended by the hotel was awesome the communication was great , he's very early and patiently waited on us even though our flight was delayed. The fact that our room was cleaned and the staff answered our questions was good.. I wished the buffet breakfast had more options.
