• aidaalco (5/5): No recomiendo la habitación compartida pero lugar céntrico con buen bar. - La parte de abajo esta genial, la zona del bar, para tomar una bebida o desayunar. El personal es muy amable. La ubicación tambien es muy buena. La habitación compartida no la recomiendo. Los baños no estaban limpios (comparado con la limpieza en Japon). El precio caro para lo que era.
• Max (8/5): - The private double room was very good value if you are not fussed about hostel-style facilities. After all, it is still a lot more privacy than a lot of ryokans! The building is basic, and corridors are unfurnished, but the common area and bar/café are wonderfully decorated and have a great cosy vibe. A good selection of drinks, including local craft beers. The bedroom could do with more storage options, like hooks on the walls.

• Rebekka (8/5): Sehr gute Option - Sehr schönes Café, die Frühstücksauswahl ist klein aber fein, das Zimmer ist basic, aber schön. Sehr schöner Gemeinschaftsraum zum Essen und arbeiten. Die Lage ist entspannt, alles ist ganz gut zu erreichen. Das Hostel entspricht den Bildern Die Fenster sind nicht schallisoliert, deswegen kann es auf der Straßenseite ganz schön laut werden. Im 5. Stock sind nur Frauentoiletten und -waschräume und die Männer müssen für alles ein Stockwerk runter. Das ist nachts, wenn man nur mal schnell aufs Klo will, nicht so toll.

• En (10/5): 無法言喻的好住宿！！離清水寺近又一切都完美 - 距離清水寺走路約15分鐘，想要清晨搶好機位選這間準沒錯。 一個晚上才700-800台幣的青旅，入住還送一樓酒吧的一張酒券，很多種選擇。我選天天水果調酒超好喝⋯ 淋浴間各層樓都有兩間，我完全沒跟別人搶著使用，淋浴間乾濕分離，提供吹風機和離子夾（很扯）、棉花棒和化妝棉，可說是無可挑剔。 床墊舒適，上下舖不可選擇，但可向櫃檯人員提出希望下舖的請求，我兩天都有到下舖。 二樓有圖書館（交誼廳、廚房），非常漂亮還剛好有我想看的雜誌，可以在這裡吃東西、看書、寫字。下次來京都一定會再住這裏！

• Jessica (10/5): 10/10 stay in Kyoto. Book with Brekkie! - Top tier stay, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay. I took a private room which has a desk and windows that opened for fresh air. It was lovely to have fresh sunlight and a breeze while working on my lap top at the desk. My room was just the right size for all my things without feeling cramped. I had the 4th floor which had plenty of washrooms & showers, I never had to wait and they were sparkling clean. Morning breakfast was delish! If you wonder whether you take brekkie - TAKE IT, its not a typical hostel-like brekkie I found travelling SE Asia - this was fresh, and just enough. They allowed me to 'upgrade' my beverage to a matcha which was nice for a small extra fee. Bed was cozy, loved the duvet and soft plush blankets. Wifi was never an issue to connect & signal was strong. I enjoyed the little cafe to relax and have a latte after walking around Kyoto. nothing.

It wasnt clear that our room has no toilet or bathrroom so we had to share it with Hostel users evendough we paid for a whole room. In my opinion it was too expensive. The hotel bathroom and toiltes werent cleaned so often it was always dirty. I was disgusted a little to use it. They offer you a free coktail, but it had no alchohol in it and not good prepared. You get other quality when you pay.

• Daniela (8/5): Super Lage in Kyoto - Das Hostel war von der Kyoto Station aus sehr unkompliziert zu erreichen und liegt in Kawaramachi – einer Lage, die gerade für Kyoto-Neulinge ideal ist. Der Komfort war hoch, die Badezimmer und Duschräume durchgehend sehr sauber. Und wie so oft in Japan verschwimmen hier die Grenzen: Es fühlt sich fast weniger wie ein klassisches Hostel an, sondern eher wie ein gut organisiertes, reduziertes Hotel. Wenn Frühstück inkludiert ist, erwartet einen sehr guter Kaffee und ein insgesamt qualitativ überzeugendes Angebot. Gleichzeitig sollte jedoch Zeit eingeplant werden: Wartezeiten von bis zu 45 Minuten sind möglich, selbst bei geringer Auslastung. Das Personal arbeitet äußerst sorgfältig und mit viel Engagement. Die Abläufe wirken dabei weniger auf Effizienz ausgerichtet, dafür ist der Umgang durchgehend sehr freundlich und zugewandt.

• zara (9/5): Perfect location for Kyoto explore and stay - The location is great, a stones throw from the bottom of philosophers walk and a short walk to the geisha district and the main shopping areas. Staff are super helpful and willing to help you with anything. There is a cute cafe/bar on the ground floor which is nice to hang out in as well as a secure storage room for luggage when not in your room. When upstairs the common areas is clean and nice with games, free tea and washer/dryer that works really well. I saw several people doing digital nomad work on the WiFi no problem. Towel included. I was in the 6 bed mixed room and the metal beds could be better but not bad. Otherwise really enjoyable stay.

The (mixed) dorm room smelt sweaty, but unfortunately the window couldn’t open to get some fresh air in… also you can tell not all travelers uphold the Japanese neatness in this hostel. So if youre traveling to kyoto, please help the staff keep the place neat.
• Hinami (10/5): - 宿への往復で鴨川や高瀬川沿いを歩けるので京都に住んでる気分になれました。京都駅までのバス停も近くて、荷物があっても移動が楽です。バスもすぐ来ます。 女性専用の部屋は、フロア全体が女性専用なのが素晴らしいですね。水回りやベッドも清潔で、スタッフの方も優しくて初めてのドミトリーでしたが良い経験になりました。また京都に来た際に泊まりたいです。

• Poppy (9/5): Super cozy comfortable spot - Really cozy hostel in the centre of Kyoto! Only a 7 minute walk to the nearest station too. Atmosphere is great throughout the hostel :) very accommodating lovely staff all round. The breakfast here and dinner here is also great if you prefer a night in! Very clean spaces all round. Also very comfy beds - linen sheets too !! Only 2 showers, but I didn’t run into any problems being a night showerer and there’s more showers on the other floors too ! Unfortunately there’s only one washing machine and dryer however lots of laundry places around the corner so !

Room little too tight, not much space for luggage. Rooms bit outsated compare to ahared space. Id prefer to have sheets over the whole blanket.

Baños super limpios, amplios y con buena privacidad. Te dan toalla gratis y un ticket para canjear un cóctel en el bar. Para ser un hostal cumple muy bien. El colchón y la almohada algo duros
• Ed (7/5): Great place, strange check in times - + the bar downstairs, good choice of drinks and tasty food throughout the day + Location was perfect + Clean and solid showers - check in time was so late, I arrived at 16:00 but had to wait till 20:00. The people I met in my room all were allowed to check in at different times (11 & 4) and the beds were already cleaned. Plus you have to make your own bed. Never experienced such a late check in and early check out

• Henry (9/5): Great place to stay - Close to the main area of Kyoto, close to the train stations. I couldn’t ring the number on the front door after I stayed out too late. You need a Japanese number even with an E sim.
• 真 (9/5): 旅のアンカーポイントとして最適 - 滞在中スタッフの方の心意気やバーが充実していることで夜一杯出歩き呑みにいく必要がない（滞在中は3月に雪が降るほど京都は想像以上に寒い）のは有り難かったです。あとは暮らせるレベルで共有部に調理器具が置いてあるので近くに買い出しできる場所が多いのも立地的魅力です。

• Manon (10/5): - Je suis arrivée plus tard que prévu et le staff a été très arrangeant. La localisation est optimale pour visiter Kyoto, le bar/restaurant est très pratique pour le petit déjeuner ou le soir. J'ai passé un excellent séjour et les équipements sont vraiment qualitatifs pour une auberge. Je recommande !
