- wo1382 (4/5): Don’t waste your money - Well, like everything else in life all good things come to an end. I’ve been staying in this hotel for five years, it is the only hotel that I stay in when I come to Cochabamba. And just like everything else in Bolivia they start off really well and then quality goes down the hole with time. My room and everybody’s room to my understanding comes with free breakfast. When I went to go have breakfast they told me it was not included in my room, and that I had to pay for it. That’s OK cause it’s not that good anyway so I went to go eat somewhere else. I stayed for two nights and I could not used to pull any of the two nights. They tell me they’re heating it up and it takes one whole day to heat up. I stayed here from Thursday through Friday there’s not much to do in this town, and every time I come here I stay in the pool most of the time. Don’t give me that crap! Plus the guy that took care of me at the beginning when I checked in was clueless on customer service. What a shame that once a good hotel is turning to crap 💩!!!!

El comedor del desayuno parece adaptado y el servicio está a cargo de una sola persona, por lo que no se remplazan las bandejas de comida a tiempo. La piscina es pequeña y los ambientes del sauna no tienen una limpieza adecuada. El pasillo de la habitación que nos tocó tenía mesas obstruyendo el paso y cables del aire acondicionado colgando por la pared.

El horario del desayuno es muy poco conveniente, ya que empieza desde las 7 am y si viajas de negocios, debes salir temprano a cumplir tus citas.

- Nathaniel254 (2/5): So many problems - where do i start?! I almost break my neck 5 times slipping on the floor because everywhere is so slippery. You have to buy bottled water, they do not provide even one bottle for the room. The cleaning ladies will come to clean the room and then leave the windows open allowing anyone to enter and I had thousands of dollars of equipment in my room, even after I asked them to not open the window they still did it. Most of the plugs do not work so we had to share one plug to charge our phones and laptops. The worst part I had a very early flight but they put a big party with lots of screaming young girls until late at night so I could not sleep. Not worth the price.

Tem alguns quartos que no trajeto você passa por área descoberta. A saída deságua do chuveiro estava entupida, onde inundou todo o banheiro.

Al ducharte se moja todo el baño. Para llegar al bloque D, hay que salir a un camino que no tiene techo y encima resbaladizo cuando llueve.

Es una excelente opción precio calidad decidir este hotel, con certeza volveré a preferir sus servicios. En la medida de lo posible, es preferible elegir habitaciones mejor ubicadas que mirando al centro del segundo piso, son habitaciones más bien pequeñas pero no escatiman en comodidad.

- SCTraveler864 (8/5): Nice Hotel in Cochabamba - The Camino Plaza is a nice hotel in a very pleasant part of Cochabamba. If you are used to conventional chain hotels, this will not meet your expectations. Each room is different and quirky. I was in the F section which provided some quiet from the street noise. I had no view but the room was pleasant enough. The food was good, the service was as well. The hotel has its dining areas separated into three parts... a restaurant, a cafe, and a bar each of which has kind of odd but friendly service. The pool was really nice after a long day of work. I didn't try the sauna or steam room but the latter didn't seem to be working. We did loose water one morning which was a bummer but that can happen anywhere. I would recommend this hotel.
- chrisgW3301BB (4/5): Beneath the Veneer - I've stayed in almost all of the hotels in Cochabamba and in recent years used Air BNB as a preference. On this occasion, I decided to try the Camino Plaza. First impressions of the foyer looked promising but beyond that it was a disappointing experience. Room was cramped, bathroom ridiculously small, my shower failed completely on two consecutive days, food at the hotel is very poor, expensive and badly prepared. My room 104, was noisy with lots of light intrusion from the passageway. I booked a taxi for my return to the airport in advance, come the day of departure, I found that the taxi was not available and had to wait 30 minutes for another to be ordered. For $100 a night, this hotel is overpriced, fixtures and fittings are old and deteriorating, there are better options available in the city, particularly Air BNB.

- Manoel (10/5): - The Hotel is very nice, modern and convenient. Breakfast was very tasty and with lots of different options. The only thing I didn't like was that I broke one glass by accident inside the room and when I checked out, they charged me for the glass. I found that it was just ridiculous.

- 496brandonn (8/5): Luxuryyyyy - The Camino Plaza was fantastic. The staff was wonderful, the room was perfect, and the overall atmosphere of the place is just so luxurious. The reason I gave 4 stars was merely based on my experience. During mine and my girlfriends stay the power went out from 7 to 11. Because of this, the shower was cold, the breakfast buffet was dark and cold, and we didnt have power in the room. Also, there was a sort of marching band practicing directly outside of our window for about an hour. OTHER THAN THAT, fantastic.

- 873chucke (6/5): Nice looking, but impractical room - First the positive: The staff was very friendly and some were fluent in English. However, the room we had in the A block was very modern and attractive when one enters, but we concluded it was designed by someone who had never stayed in a hotel. Half the room did not have lighting, and this was where the desk was and one would normally place one's suitcases. The hotel staff rigged up a lamp to try to help, but it was really inadequate. Likewise there were no reading lights over the bed. That's OK if you are reading from your tablet, but not if you want to read an old fashioned paper book. There was only one soft chair in the room, so my wife and I had to compete for it. In short, this hotel could do better.

One night I went out looking for a good place to eat dinner, and did a whole circle, and back to the hotel. The part of the city where the Hotel is convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and some fine restaurants.

- Diego (8/5): Repetiré mi estancia - El hotel está muy bien equipado y el personal es realmente atento. Lo único que remarcaría para mejorar es el gimnasio, necesitan añadir mancuernas con pesos y mejorar la cinta de correr, ya que la llave de emergencia se desconecta sola y es imposible correr, sin duda repetiré mi estancia con ellos, además la comida es muy buena.

- ICZ (4/5): Not a 5 stars hotel at all! - The place has ramps for wheelchair access but the hotel doesn't offer one. There is not a box of tissue paper in the bedroom or a simple alarm clock or radio. No hot water boiling pot. Not even a microwave. On top of that you have to give the full name of your visitors to the front desk so they grant them access, allegedly for "your security". The tiny swimming pool is outside the whole area of the rooms together with the gym and saunas. So no way to swim in a rainy or windy day even if it's "heated water" For this reason they should provide a bathrobe and sleepers, since the room floors are tile. To access the gym, which not even has weights or a simple mat, you have to request a key and then give it back to the front desk, unless they already saw you on the cameras and send a bellboy to get it from you when you are leaving the premises. I tried to call reception from the phone inside the gym but was not working after many attempts. The sauna is not constantly ready so I have to call in advance so they connected one hour before. Unfortunately when I called them to do so, they took too long to send somebody to activate it. I had some business staff to do attend so I could never enjoy that service. There is no elevator so I have to request a room on the lower level which was a bit secluded and dark from the rest.

- 154philipph (10/5): Accidental and very good choice - We came to Cochabamba not because we wanted to but because we had to, as road blockades by miners kept us from reaching our original destination La Paz. Both the city and the Hotel Camino Plaza, booked spontaneously during the travelling and without much research about it, turned out to be excellent alternatives. Even though it´s more of a business hotel and located a 20 min walking distance from the colonial city center, we felt really nice there as tourists as well. After a 10 hours driving Odyssey in our rental car, the check-in was done smoothly, professionally and with authentic sympathies for the hardships of our day. The room was large, clean, stylish, bright and equipped with a giant and comfortable bed (even long enough for Non-Bolivians). Good choice at breakfast as well, however not very much oriented towards people with allergies. If the hotel had had a fitness center, it would have been almost perfect for its price level. During our two days stay, the reception kept us updated on the latest developments concerning the road blockades, called police and bus stations to help us choose the best route and time for our onward journey. It was written in our guide book that the people of Cochabamba are some of Bolivia´s kindest and friendliest. As far as the hotel personnel is concerned, this appears to be true.

- mexprincess2000 (8/5): Cochabamba Family Stay - This is a great hotel. I would certainly recommend it and stay there again. It's new, very modern and in a good location. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff was friendly. The only 2 things I didn't like was that there was no safe or tissue paper in the room. I was expecting those things for 5 star rated hotel.
- Anayansi789 (6/5): Doesn't feel very safe - I stayed here for two nights but I had very little sleep because I didn't feel very safe. I had read the previous reviews and figured the noise complaints didn't bother me because I can normally sleep through anything, but it was the proximity of my room to the street that made me feel unsafe. My room was situated on the first floor, right next to a small alley and I could hear people walking by. The problem for me wasn't the noise, it was the thought of someone breaking in my windows because they were so easily accessible. I didn't sleep just thinking this could happen. Also, on the website they list a gym as one of their amenities, but they don't actually have one. So if you're looking for a hotel with a workout facility, this is not the one.
- rtpana (4/5): Bring your ambien - This is a nice modern hotel that is situated around an extremely noisy plaza. The plaza and neighborhood are all residential and unassuming. The suites are all facing the plaza and there is no good sound proofing. I am checking out after only one night since I had to spend the night on a tiny couch in the den to cut down on the noise. Also the first suite they put me in had no air conditioning at al - no unit! They just found out about it when I asked for help. All the suites were empty and I was told all the single rooms in the inside where full. I asked for a 6:30 wake up call that came after 7. The breakfast buffet was OK but my dinner filet mignon was way over cooked even though I asked for medium rare.
- Jeremarkus (4/5): Mixed experience - I was here only for one night and had a mixed experience. The room was ok and the wifi was working. However after checking-in and settling-in my room I was informed that the window of the room was broken (=no window). I was on ground floor and they offered me to change the room for security reasons. Which I did. Staff was mostly helpful even though there was some language barrier from time to time. Shower was not too warm, but mostly cold or luke-warm.
