Guest Reviews
- paulakO6393YV (10/5): Amazing experience - Beaver Creek was amazing skiing and the location of the Ascent, with their free shuttle, made the condo perfect. Everything was clean and check-in was quick and seamless. East West also did a very good job of sending information before our arrival so we could get groceries and ski rentals set up. Was a great trip.
- kengB8375HR (10/5): Great location and shuttle to the resorts! - Roomy 3 bedroom condo just outside Beaver Creek was a great place for 6 friends (2 couples and 2 singles) to stay for a week-long ski trip. The private shuttle to Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts was a particular highlight. The ski locker was also nice for our daily trek to the resorts. We would definitely stay here again.
- 967gaylet (10/5): Great complex !!! - One of the best condos I have ever rented!
Comfortable beds and updated decor
Great location with shuttle service to the mountain. Our family also enjoyed the pool
and hot tub and would have taken advantage of the rec rooms if we had more time!
- Connor S. (10/5): Great Stay! - We really enjoyed our time! Getting to the slopes and into town was really easy! Would definitely love to stay again soon!
- John St. (10/5): - Condo was amazing and amenities (pool, hot tub, ski locker, game room) we’re great!
- jeffhemenway (8/5): Very nice accommodations, good location and seriously friendly staff and service. - The home (302) was furnished very nicely and the neighbors and staff were very friendly! Our only concern was lukewarm water in the master bedroom shower, no idea why. Other than this, we loved it! Good location too.
- Jeannette P. (10/5): Fantastic!! - Everything between location, unit layout, and hospitality of this condo was amazing! The front desk was extremely helpful and informative. The shuttle driver was fantastic and very responsive. The location was perfect to use beaver creeks transportation means later in the evening as well. Condo was spectacular. Would certainly look to stay here again
- Donald B. (10/5): Perfect Location - Great location, walkability to the Westin and shuttle to Beaver Creek
- 260LS (10/5): Great value at the base of Beaver Creek, super easy to get around, very well-kept, we loved everything about it! - Easy to check in/out; clean property, kept up very well; great pool & hot tub areas, great well-equipped gym. Super easy to drive everywhere from this location. Just a minute from the lifts and the same ease as being in the "village" at a fraction of the cost.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Anniversary Trip - My wife and I traveled here for our anniversary. Check-in was very smooth. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for no apparent reason and there was no forewarning. That said, the hot tubs were open but around the outside tub, it was really weed-y, poorly maintained. Our condo was gorgeous and comfortable and had everything we needed to make some awesome meals for ourselves. We'r had an excellent time!
- DanaOV (10/5): Our Mountain Home away from Home. Always friendly, helpful staff. - We have stayed in a 2 and in a 3-bedroom unit on our last two visits. Plenty of room and very clean. Excellent condo with all that you need to cook or relax in front of the fire.. Shuttle service to BC and Vail always ready!
- loryr174 (10/5): Comfy Luxury Ascent 301 - We just returned from an incredible stay in unit 301 (January 30-February 3). Our visit to Vail and Beaver Creek was enhanced by having such a beautifully decorated, well appointed, exceedingly comfortable condo at the end of each day in ski paradise.
The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need to feel at home. From comfy over-sized couches to melt into to wonderful linens and what seems like unlimited storage space! The kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry room was also well-stocked.
The amenities provided at The Ascent are better than any place we have ever stayed at any ski resort. The shuttle service to Vail and Beaver Creek made everything so convenient which was greatly appreciated. As was the underground parking, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, indoor pool, steam room, game room, and ski lockers.
The pricing and flexible stay limits make this our new "go to" condo to rent from now on. Simply awesome.
- mary (10/5): - wonderful condo close to all activities. Would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Home away from home - Absolutely gorgeous. Staff waa friendly, it was clean and kid friendly!
- ygmen (10/5): Return visitor - We stayed on the second floor, 203 this year for spring break, for our family of 5. Two years ago we were on the first floor. It is a 3 br that is beautifully decorated and we felt very comfortable in their home. The bunk bed was a big hit with my 7 year old son!! The Ascent is a fabulous condo, with the game room, jacuzzi, pool, steam sauna and outdoor gas bbq, indoor parking and ski storage. Greg helped us out everyday driving us up the mountain and was there for whatever we needed. East West was who we rented through and everything went like clockwork. We look forward to our next visit to the Ascent and we are sure we will leave just as happy as our first two visits!!!
- 901niallr (10/5): outstanding property, pictures and description of everything on website 100% accurate - Very pleased with how everything went during the week, it is very handy staying in the ascent as you have the convenient option of eating in Avon. Greg and Don we great and couldn't have done enough for us. This is a fantastic and relaxing apartment complex and we met some great people , property owners and renters alike...Book your ski passes in November if you can!! only problem with the week was cost of ski passes and lessons
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Not primarily a hotel. This is a condo building, with a minority of condos rented out. Found out once there no routine maid service. Easy access by shuttle to Beaver Creek village. Can walk to everything in Avon. I got a good price, had a great trip
- tedm523 (10/5): This place is high quality and set up great for a pleasant skiing experience. - The condos are very nice, high quality. They have a dedicated ski locker area on the first floor to keep your gear in so you don't have to haul skis and boots up an elevator. Just put your ski boots on, grab your gear and hop on their dedicated shuttle that takes you up to the base of Beaver Creek (or Vail once a day too). The condo complex also had a recreation and game room area on the ground floor - pool, shuffleboard, foosball, video games, lounging etc. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as an outdoor hot tub/patio. And the location is great, just minutes to everything in Avon or Beaver Creeek Village.
- brittanyp611 (10/5): The Ascent is a beautiful place. - We stayed in unit 405 and it was stunning. All of the bathrooms were very large with elegant touches. The unit was very clean and had beautiful decor throughout. Having a washer and dryer were also a huge plus for us too. I would definitely recommend this place. Also the is a large game room on the ground floor that was amazing!!! The place is ideal for a family or couple getaway.
- Michele W. (8/5): Great location for a family - The condo was very nice. Location is at the bottom of the hill to Beaver Creek, with great access to the resort between city buses, the condo's bus and walking. The Ascent has plenty for both kids and adults to do off the slopes with a very nice game room, pool, hot tub and exercise room. The condo was a nicely sized (3 adults, 2 kids) for togetherness as well as some quiet time. We would definitely use again !
- Caroline (10/5): Incredibly Nice Condo! - We have stayed at other facilities in Beaver Creek before and were very pleasantly surprised at how new, nice, and comfortable our unit was! We also had a great view of the mountains. This condo is not ski in and ski out and is right outside the Beaver Creek gate, but you can catch the Ascent shuttle or take the very short walk to the Elk Lot, where the shuttle picks up every 10 minutes. The amenities were also very nice...out door and indoor hot tubs, huge game room, steam room, ski lockers, etc. The only thing that could be a "con" is that there doesnt seem to be anyone on staff at night or sometimes even during the day. I read where someone said the lobby and common areas are like a ghost town (ha!) and that seems to be true! It wasnt a problem for us other than the fact it was a bit strange. Overall, a wonderful stay! Would stay here again!
- HarlemGurl (10/5): HEAVEN ON EARTH - The qualitiy of this facility is first class. The staff, conceirge staff, reservation agent, and anyone I call was absolutely attentative. They all worked as a team to make sure that we were provided everything we needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location and beautifully appointed property. So much nicer than staying in a hotel.
- Vinopghmom (10/5): Extended Weekend Girls Getaway - Stayed at 301 Ascent-the photos were great & it exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal-many amenities nearby & a quick five minute drive to Beaver Creek & a short drive to Vail. The condo is immaculate-nicely appointed from the gourmet kitchen to the luxurious bedding & beautiful bathrooms. A must for all seasons! The Ascent has many amenities with steam room, hot tub, outdoor fireplace & so much more. The Owners are wonderful-don’t look anywhere else! Can not wait to return!
- 114derek (10/5): Great visit to Beaver Creek - The Ascent is a great property. Our condo was perfect for our family. We loved the location and we were able to walk to town or to the local bus stop. The concierge was fantastic and helped us reserve activities and dinners.
- janelleshleman (10/5): Excellent place to stay - We stayed in a 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath unit. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the amenities, pool, hot tubs, steam room, workout room, BBQ's, game room, and shuttles, were all excellent. We visited in April, and even though we are not skiers, we found The Ascent to be a great starting point to all of the areas attractions, including Vail, Beaver Creek Village, and Glenwood Springs. Would highly recommend for families or groups who want a relaxed, luxurious stay, without the out of this world price tag.
- A E (10/5): Wonderful Condo setting at base of mountain - Beautiful condo setting; helpful staff; ski shuttle. We couldn't have been happier with our choice
- Millsian (10/5): Great lodging for a great ski weekend! - We traveled to Beaver Creek as a group of 3 couples. This was a great place to stay. Our condo (#103) was spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed the large kitchen, large dining table, and en suite jacuzzis. The shuttle was convenient and easy to use, in addition we appreciated the on site ski lockers with boot warmers! And, we can't say enough about the outdoor hot tub, steam room, and game room with shuffle board, pool, and more.
- Emily B. (6/5): Unreliable shuttle - The room and facilities were top-notch. No complaints from that standpoint. We had constant problems getting to and from Beaver Creek Resort using the Ascent's shuttle. The shuttle did not follow the schedule we were provided and the driver never answered the phone we were supposed to call. We felt like a big inconvenience whenever we did get in touch with him. Most of the time, nobody answered the phone at the front desk either. On a couple of occasions, we rode the Beaver Creek Transp. Shuttle to the Elk Lot and walked across the roads to the Ascent. I would not recommend this though as there are no sidewalks along the way.
- Terri (10/5): Beautiful condo! - Beautiful clean condo in a fantastic location. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again!
- Stacey (10/5): Luxury accomodations - We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was BEAUTIFUL! It was incredibly clean, and luxurious. Just loved it!
- Vail4me (10/5): Luxurious! - If you are tired of squeezing into small shabby rooms with no storage while on ski trips, the Ascent is the place for you! Large 3 bedroom apartments with all the comforts of home. Luxurious bedding, fully stocked modern kitchen, beautiful comfortable furniture with large TVs in all rooms. Spotless clean building. The van to the slopes was always available and very convenient. We loved the underground parking and game room. Heated ski locker, pool, hot tubs and steam room were great. An easy walk to shops and dining in Avon. Have stayed in both summer and winter and have never stayed in a nicer place in the Vail Valley at this price in over 20 years!
- Brandon (10/5): Awesome experience! - We loved staying at the Ascent. It was a beautiful condo and the entire building was luxury. We loved it!!!! Can't wait to come back and stay again!
- LuisS445 (10/5): A great spot It heart of the Vail Valley - Located at the base of Beaver Creek mountain, the Ascent offers a quiet, luxury stay with great amenities and public spaces. The ski shuttle gives you quick access to Beaver Creek and Vail ski areas. The units are comfortable, large and well appointed. I love the gym, steam room, jacuzzis and indoor pool.
We found the town of Avon to be charming with great food and drink spots within walking distance. The staff of the Ascent was friendly and helpful, but don't expect hotel type service here. Great wifi and cable also.
Compared to other area condos, this is a hidden gem, and is always quiet.
- ygmen (10/5): A Great Place to Stay!!! - We rented a 3br for our family of 5, two teenagers and a 5 year old, through East West and we could not have been happier. It is a relatively new facility and we were a little apprehensive due to a couple of reviews. We rented due to the amenities, indoor pool, wet sauna and game room of a pool table, foosball, air hockey and shuffleboard, and the cost compared to staying in BC village. Having stayed in a 3br in Bachelor Gulch last year, the Ascent is just as nice with better amenities and much closer to town. We used the outdoor gas grills to bbq one night which were clean and almost brand new. Greg was more than helpful, he walked us across the street to the Elk lot for the BC shuttle, which we used in addition to the Ascent shuttle. Anniique was there everyday as well and always greeted us by name. Our condo, #103 was on the bottom floor and was quiet. We rarely saw others in the facility the entire six days there. My thought is they should relax the rules and let a family of five stay in a 2 br. We hope to stay here again!!!
- 405bradk (10/5): The Best "Home Away From Home" at Beaver Creek - The Ascent offers the best amenities available anywhere in the Beaver Creek area at a reasonable cost. It is also one of the newest developments in the entire Vail Valley with upgraded modern features. With two, three, and four bedroom condos available (all with the equivalent number of bathrooms), it fits the needs of most families and/or groups of friends. The Ascent is within a very short walking distance of the restaurants of Avon (Vin 48 is the best) plus the Westin and its gondola to the slopes of Beaver Creek. Each unit comes with its own ski locker and access to the Ascent private shuttle that runs throughout the day to both Beaver Creek Village and Vail.
