- Jill (10/5): - What a stunning hotel and the breakfast offering was outstanding. The room was beautifully decorated and appointed (stand alone bath and sea view). I would recommend to anyone. All the hotel guest rooms are on high floors as there are residential apartments on the lower floors. We loved being high but if you don't, this may not be a good choice for you.

- Kexu (5/5): 不还好，下次应该不会再考虑了。 - 早餐比较丰盛，地理位置方便 房间一股发霉的味道，下水道有虫子，装修比较老，一些柜门都歪了。mini bar的东西都要收费，十年前算正常，但是现在还是这样的政策，比起同行有差距。订的海景高层，为的是景观和隐私，但是入住期间，2天都有人在擦玻璃，窗帘基本打不开，并没有提前告知，进了房间才知道。

Wouldn’t quite call it a seaview as it’s a bit far out, location wasn’t ideal for me as I was solo travelling and didn’t want to be somewhere quiet.

- Bok Hoe (10/5): Service Above and Beyond - I am writing to express my sincere appreciation and to commend your hotel staff Ms Mia for the excellent assistance provided to us during our stay at Hilton. We were down with very severe food poisoning on Christmas Day, the hotel manager responded quickly and dispatched Ms Mia to get us to a hospital. She dealt with all the administrative matters swiftly and even ensured our safe return to the hotel afterwards (its was already after her working hours). Thoughout the whole time, she was very kind, patient and thoughful to us. Overall the hotels' staff service even the restaurants and cleaners were above and beyond, this will definitely leave an everlasting impression for us. Thank you once again for the outstanding service. I hope this commendation may be shared with the staff involved and be recognised by the hotel management.

Nice and comfortable. Spacious, with working table and sofa chair with leg rest. Long raised platform for luggage. It had sophisticated controls for toilet. Our room had both bath tub and shower room. I didn’t understand why the 2 bottles of drinking water were placed in the bathroom. Moreover, the bottle of washing liquid was place far from wash basin. Management should train housekeeping staff to place these items according to needs by guests. Breakfast was fantastic. There was a very wide spread of food and they were nicely presented. Waitress led us to our table, optimising table usage.

I loved my room, the location, the bath, the bedding, the decoration, the attentiveness of the staff who spoke English, and dinner at the restaurant that is called the Grill. The jazz music over dinner and the dishes were great! Two minor things: It would be great if the signs of some switches inside the room were in English. I pressed a button and didn’t know what it was and learned too late that it was a button to inform I didn’t want the room to be cleaned. The toilet is intelligent and I didn’t like it so I had to switch it on and off to stop it from throwing water at me every time I needed a wee.

The bigger duty-free in Asian just 20 minutes from the hotel. Staff is very friendly , the Hotel breakfast is excellent. The escalator to go to Hotel room it’s not connecting dialect from the main entrance. need to change to opposite building.

- Florence (8/5): Trotz einiger Schwachpunkte ein schönes Hotel. - Das Hotel bietet einen fantastischen Blick über die Stadt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben eine Badewanne mit Blick auf die Stadt. Die Betten waren bequem. Insgesamt war das Zimmer sauber, jedoch darf man nicht die Fenster und Fensterbretter da mit einbeziehen. Das Frühstück ist hauptsächlich für chinesische Gäste ausgerichtet aber man findet auch Brot, Teichen etc. Das chinesische Restaurant im 4. Stock war gut, wenn auch nicht günstig. Ich würde das Hotel nochmals buchen, alleine wegen der Aussicht. Man kann nach dem Auschecken die Koffer deponieren. Der einzige wirkliche Wehrmutstropfen: Die Lounge (wir hatten Lounge Zugang gebucht) ist es nicht wert zu buchen! Es gibt Soda, Cola,…. und einige wenige Snacks. Kein Alkohol, nicht mal ein Bierchen. ;-(

Проблему решили быстро. Отель уставший, но это даже не минус. Это просто факт, но жить в нем ничего не помешает. Вокруг отеля нет ни торгового центра, ни кафе, ни достопримечательностей. (Но такси DiDi в помощь)

- Lsh1989 (2/5): Disappointing lobby stuff, awkward room design. - This hotel is extremely convenient, with many small eateries nearby. Staff service can be improved. The lady who checked us in was excellent! She showed initiative and called guest to her when she sees them waiting in line. The other lobby staff seem to be only interested in having their conversation with little to no initiative shown. Talking loudly and laughing. Very displeased with their attitude. The other staff worth mentioning was our cleaner. She was friendly and helpful and I was extremely pleased with her service. So much better than most of the staff at the lobby. Apart from these two no other staff made an impression. Our room was huge with cooking facilities but oddly enough no cooking utensils were provided and these had to be requested for. No coffee making machine was provided as well and we were told that these were provided only to those staying on certain floors. The room design was awkward, and despite the huge toilet, if there was someone using the toilet bowl, no one else could use it, because there was no proper partition. To use the gym and other facilities you had to change lifts, causing a lot of inconvenience. Overall, I would book this hotel again if only for the convenience. Apart from that, there is really nothing to rave about. Staff service (Apart from our cleaner and the lady who checked me in -they really deserve praise. Its a pity i did not get their names) was generally cold and lacking in initiative or friendliness / helpfulness, especially those at the front desk. 这酒店很方便。附近有很多的小吃。员工服务我觉得很差！ 好的只有两个。第一是帮我们入住酒店的员工。很棒。看到顾客排队会叫顾客过去帮他们入住或回答他们的疑问。在大堂的别的员工似乎只顾着聊天 不当如此，还在那里笑嘻嘻，讲话讲到那么大声。看到顾客在别的柜台排队也不叫过去问有什么可以帮忙的。真的对他们的态度超不满意。第二个值得表扬的是我们楼的清洁工人。态度非常得好。很亲切，很友善。比起那些在大堂的员工强多了。除了这两个就没了。我们的房间很大也能煮东西。奇怪的是不给锅，必须打给客房服务要求。咖啡器也没有。只有一些楼才有。房间设计也很尴尬。最好笑的是厕所如此的庞大，当如果有人用马桶，没有人能用厕所了，因为马桶那里没门或墙，所以别人一进去就能看到。要用设备比如健身房或游泳池还得换电梯。超麻烦。总而言之如果再定这酒店的话也会只是因为他方便。别的就没什么好说的了。可惜不知道帮我们入住以及凭借工人的名字。不然就要好好表扬她们一下。剩下的员工感觉冷淡淡的。根本只顾着自己的事情。

Location is convenient, staff are helpful and friendly. - Great room - not sure if they upgraded me to a junior suite but the room was spacious and had everything I needed. It was a comfortable stay. The pool is not a typical hotel pool that I am used to - you need swim caps to swim, and it’s not where you can lay around and catch some sun

- Flyer624204 (2/5): A Waste of Time and Money - This was a mistake I made, thinking that since I had stayed in a Hilton Hotel in Beijing, somehow this Hotel would have a certain level of hospitality. I was so wrong. Let's start with check-in. The foyer was full of people and when it seemed there was someone to talk to, everyone had their heads down. Finally, I was acknowledged. I asked questions about the Lounge, and the information was written on the sign-in paperwork which after signing was collected by the Clerk. The entire lobby had signs and information all written in Chinese, with no explanation in English. Okay, it is in China, but if you are willing to accept, a reservation from an English-speaking country, common decency and hospitality should dictate, at least make your guest feel welcome. Someone was staying in the hotel, which attracted a crowd. This group of young people were in the hallway, blocking the elevator. Take note this could have been seen and management did nothing. Entering and exiting the elevator was a chore, the group refused to move unless asked. This was annoying. The breakfast was nothing to be excited about and the staff spent a lot of time just standing around and gossiping about the guest. When you asked them not to clear your dishes, because you are returning. They would find it very funny. The icing on the cake was that there was a mix-up with my date and exit from Hainan. The Customs Dept contacted the Hotel, and one of the Staff chose to come in the middle of breakfast and started to discuss a private matter, publicly. I remained calm, but I was very upset. This was so unprofessional. Overall, the place looked like they were always hacking something or the other.

- Angeline (10/5): - Travelled with a big family and we enjoyed the big and spacious rooms that allowed us to stay comfortably. There was only one or two spots under the table that was dirty (we had to shift it to pick an item that fell). There are several types of bathroom. The ones with the bathtub beside the shower has more space and is more comfortable. The water pressure is good! Hotel staff were responsive and fast when we requested for items. Breakfast buffet had a good spread with a nice sea view in the restaurant. We had to take the lift down to level 1 to access a separate lift to the restaurant but we didn’t have to wait long for the lift so no complains about that. There are also several shopping malls nearby with a wide spread of food and shopping options. It is also quite near Qi Lou Old Street. Would come back to stay again if we visit the area. Do take note that if you drive, there are limited parking space. Might need to check with the hotel on that.

I also wanted to say a big thank you to one of the hotel staffs, Eric Yao, who went above and beyond to search for my lost apple pods and even arranged to send it back to me. Kudos to the team for making this trip a pleasant one !

- Eberhard (10/5): Exceptional - Very gorgeous hotel, spacious and luxury rooms and common places. The breakfast buffet offers the best of western and Chinese cuisine and has a multitude of choices. The staff was always ready to help.

- Sancho (6/5): pleasant enough - Big room, high ceilings, friendly staff, great location. Ground floor toilets did not have hand soap, or else the dispenser was not working. Gym water dispenser ran out of water, gym reception ran out of hand towels. Logistics and checks should have been more frequent to notice and replenish these things. Breakfast was quite limited in options, compared to other hotels of comparable statute.
- Zhen (10/5): Spacious Room, Great location, Highly Exceptional Staff during Super Typhoon Yagi, Swift Recovery! - The hotel provided a spacious and comfortable room, with a satisfying breakfast and a convenient location just a short walk from the shopping center. The mall offered a variety of dining options, including a food court with Chinese dishes and well-known fast-food outlets like Burger King and Starbucks, alongside restaurants serving hotpot and sushi. The abundance of retail stores made it a good shopping place. During our stay, we experienced the super typhoon Yagi, and I was highly impressed with the hotel staff’s dedication and professionalism. The managers on duty (floor 19th and 27th) during the typhoon ensured the safety of guests despite the power outages and poor communication. One staff member even delivered dinner to our floor 19 in the middle of the night when the electricity was cut off, showcasing the team’s exceptional commitment during the crisis. In the aftermath of the typhoon, the hotel efficiently provided food, water, and resumed breakfast and dinner services the next day. The swift recovery of electricity and communication was handled smoothly, and I commend both the local authorities and the hotel management for their efforts in ensuring locals and guests' safety and comfort throughout this challenging time. May Guanyin bless the people of Hainan and the frontline staff who work tirelessly day and night to recover from the damage caused by the typhoon. The restaurant can feel a bit warm at times, but adding one or more cooling units / fans could significantly enhance the comfort level, making the atmosphere more pleasant and enjoyable for guests. Despite this, the overall experience is still very positive, with good food and good service that more than compensates for the minor temperature issue.
- Boscockh (10/5): A mistake when I make reservations - This time, staying at Hilton was different from the previous ones. Because the room is calculated based on the number of people (usually, they don't care about the number of people, and one room must include breakfast for 2 people). I made a mistake in the reservation. Special thanks to the reservation team florance and breakfast buffet restaurant host (tall lady, working on 31 Aug morning around 8-10am, my apologies forgot her name) for your enthusiastic arrangement and solving my problems, which made our trip so perfect. Please help me send a appreciate comment to both of them
- Damian (4/5): Not really worthy of Hilton branding so very disappointing - The view was good. It was easy to get taxis too and from this hotel as it was easily accessed and well frequented. We booked King Room with Ocean view billed as 45 m2 but were given a much smaller sized room. I looked at the escape plan and found that the building is oval shaped with many different room sizes with the same view. We were put into the smallest and most remote room on the floor. I suspect this is because we use Booking.com. The first room we were assigned was a smoking room and reeked of stale smoking smell despite booking a non-smoking room. I couldn't believe that indoor smoking is still permitted in this day and age. We were assigned a non-smoking room on request and were given the same smallest room on the floor on a non-smoking floor. The room did not have a nespresso machine as indicated in the sample pictures. The cafe would not serve a coffee despite an hour before closing time. The check-in staff wore soiled clothing.

- MARCELO (10/5): Impeccable Hilton hotel - Cleaness and comfort were impeccable in this hotel. Apartments were wide, comfortable and very clea. Lots of ammenities in the room, from hygiene items to shoe shining. All necessary appliances within the room. The entertainment and fitness daxilities were also amazing. Food at breakfast had a huge variety of options! The hotel is located in a very good area, close to thw seashore (eith a very good park) and a shopping mall. I highly recommendnit foe staying!
