• Dawei C (10/5): Great place in bangkok - Really clean and cozy with good facilities including wash machine. Has open space and a fridge for beer downstairs. Is in a nice location along a canal, quiet and with amenities. There are two doors for the bathroom and they can't be closed well. Makes it difficult for privacy when traveling as non romantic friends Not a problem for me..but people should bare in mind that this place is not that close to metro stations if you don't like to walk. There are typical Thai urban buses nearby though

• Michele (10/5): Ottima opzione per visitare le zone principali della città ma alloggiando in area tranquilla - Ottima opzione per stare a Bangkok. Abbastanza vicino a tutte le zone più interessanti ma senza esserci dentro e quindi un soggiorno anche tranquillo. Abbiamo esplorato in tutte le direzioni in Grab, a piedi o coi mezzi. L'area è carina e ben collegata. La struttura è molto carina e le stanze all'ultimo piano in cui abbiamo soggiornato sono stupende e molto spaziose. C'era qualcosina in camera e in una specie di zona comune per fare colazione o almeno prepararsi un the o caffè al risveglio, ma piuttosto poco. Comunque in Thailandia ci sono un milione di bar e cafè da provare quindi non è mai stato un peso.

• Tiberiu (9/5): Nice apartment that needs a bit of renovation - The apartment was clean and pretty spacious. The owner seems to have thought of everything. It seems like this apartment was very modern some years ago but it needs a bit of rennovations now as it currently became a bit shabby.

The hotel is located in calm and local area, yet not far from the center. The bed was confortable on top of a good size bedroom and bathroom. We didn't had any noise problem at all. Complimentary water provided. Lack of safety deposit was a HUGE issue for us. Lack of privacy on terrace. Terrace would be better enclosed as could be accessed by anyone through resident lounge going to rooftop and security was a concern. Lighting on terrace and rooftop was very poor. Kettle was provided in room but no cups which was strange. Difficult area to find ready made food at night.

• Amad Ud Din (10/5): Charmerende, rent og fleksibelt. - Meget rent, pænt og rummeligt værelse. Det var i ørigt noget af det mest hyggelige og hjemmelige hotel, som vi har prøvet. Kunstnerisk og charmerende. Meget venlig og fleksibel vært/receptionist. Vi fik værelset 3 timer før check in tid. Mikroovn, kaffemaskine, småkager vand og køkken til rådighed. Fin lokation. 7eleven 2 min gang og enkelte spisesteder. Og 10 min til chinatown med tuktuk. Jeg har svært ved at komme på noget negativt. Tusind tak for 2 mindeværdige dage. Ville ønske vi boede der mere.

It was helpful using the shared kitchen and lounge area, we managed to wash and dry the clothes in the utility area. This us our 2nd stay and we were looking forward to returning A big of road noise at the weekend but they provide earplugs which did the trick

• Rafael (9/5): Exceptional Rooms and Service - First impresion to get to hotel was a bit sketchy given some streets we walked, but once in the hotel you realize is a great nice hotel, friendly staff , all the services in place, the shower looked like luxury one with view to the stream/river in front of hotel. You could buy in the lobby drinks to have after long days exploring city. How to get to hotel is better to be inthe reservation and not the descrption, would help for a faster arrival, take the Express bus from airport and you only walk one block and iin about3-40 min you are in hotel, compared to other public transportation that can take upto 2 hrs due to traffic. Oh , and only other thing is that other guests sometimes locked the door and need to call staff at midnight,luckyly they are inthe hotel.

• Puzzladora (10/5): Very practical stay - We stayed two nights and the room was perfect. It had everything we need and the A/C was working perfectly. We appreciated the easy communication with the hotel and that they waited for us to check-in. The common space of the hotel is very cozy and you can buy some cold beers for a very reasonable price. The floor of the shower is a bit slippery.

• Margit (10/5): perfect for family with (small) kids - we stayed in the family room with our 2 and 4 year old daughters. The room is spacious with 2 bedrooms, a bath in the master bedroom and a big bathroom with a shower. Besides that there is a terrace and a communal living room with dining table and kitchenette. The whole building is very nicely decorated and there are beautiful books! Just opposite of the hotel (cross the bridge) is a busstop for the bus to both China town and the Wat Pho area.

The shared area upstairs was always empty so it felt like we had a much bigger apartment! The host was so friendly, kind and thoughtful and helped up with all our questions. I honestly can't recommend this enough. Nothing. It was amazing.

Die Superior-Zimmer im obersten Stock haben Zugang zu der Dachterasse, wo man einen umwerfende Aussicht auf die Skyline Bangkoks hat. Die Gastgeber sind zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit.
• Satomi (10/5): ドゥシット地区にあるオシャレなブティックホテルのようなホームステイ - バンコク・ドゥシット地区の南端の運河沿いにあります。家族経営のホームステイとのことですが、1階のエントランスから、宿泊階にある共用ラウンジ、宿泊した部屋まで、まるでオシャレなブティックホテルのようでした。部屋も大変広く、機能的で、掃除が行き届いていたので、快適に過ごせました。朝食はペイストリーとコーヒーのみでしたが、十分でした。ご主人のニッポンさんに教えていただいた近所の牛肉ヌードルレストランも、現地の人たちには大人気だそうで、おいしかったです。運河を走るボートには乗らず、徒歩5分のバス停からサイアム駅やスクンビット方面に向かうエアコンバスをよく使いました。サイアム駅までは20分くらいでした。バンコクを再訪する機会があれば、またぜひ泊まりたいと思います。
• Jennifer (10/5): Home from Home - Loved my brief stay at LoogChoob! Gorgeous ground floor space - I especially loved the area dedicated to the late King Bhumibol. My room was spacious and comfortable - a great respite to return to, given I was working in the area during my stay. Service was friendly and for tourists no doubt helpful if you are new to Bangkok. Certainly hope to stay at LoogChoob again when I return to work in the area next year!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great Hospitality! - Our stay at loogchoob was great! This seems to be a family run business, and the couple who runs it really cares about their guests. They gave us a map of the area, and printed out a huge list of tourist attractions in english with thai translations so that we could use this to communicate with the taxis. They were really kind and helpful and I would definitely recommend staying here.

• April (10/5): Amazing Location, Staff, Interiors & Facilities - Was really impressed with Loog Choob Homestay from the moment they reached out via email requesting our arrival time. They provided us multiple mobile numbers to help our taxi driver find them as well as an estimate of how much a *metered* taxi should cost. Upon arrival we were provided a small tourist information packet that included maps (useful!) to nearby ATMs, 7-Elevens, bus stops, local markets, tourist sites etc. and places to dine. After check-in, we were provided a tour of the facilities. Holy! They thought of everything a traveller could need! From complimentary use of a washing machine, to mini-kitchen stations offering all manner of breakfast necessities. In addition, there were frozen and refrigerated snacks/meals and beverages available (pay using honour system). Even with the fresh baked goods (croissants, raisin bread, donuts etc) left out each morning, the really impressive part was the general design of the place. The staff were very helpful throughout our 3 night stay and the room rate provided excellent value. As for location, Wat Saket, on the main boulevard, is ~15 min walk from Loog Choob and Kao San about 25 min. The tree-lined canal out front was lovely to walk and tuk tuks are easily accessible at the street corners. Lastly, check out the roof top yard - it is quite large, breezy and provides a nice view of the area. All-in-all our stay at Loog Choob exceeded our expectations and we'd highly recommend it to friends and family.
