Guest Reviews
- Sara (10/5): Had no expectations but had a very relaxing stay in a authentic Italien villa. Staff so kind and helpful. - Beautiful location in an old villa . Stunning views and gardens.
Very kind and generous staff. Lovkey breakfast with homegrown strawberrues , eggs and vegetabkes Nothing.
- Irlanda (10/5): -
- Ieva (10/5): - We absolutely loved staying at the property, will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends.
- Alexandros (10/5): - A little paradise on earth! No words to compare how good it is!
- Yury (10/5): - Villa Capo Santa Fortunata is one of the most magical places we’ve ever seen.
Everything here is filled with beauty, tranquility, and grandeur. Walking around it's beaufiful territory you feel as though you’ve stepped into another world—a world of harmony, art, and inspiration.
Every corner features blooming gardens, ancient arches, and the delicate scent of flowers.
The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking. It feels like the sky and the sea merge into one.
This place is perfect for those who loves dogs and want to enjoy the silence, nature, and beauty created by human hands with great love. We were absolutely delighted.
Special thanks to Giandomenico for his kindness and help at every question we had during our stay there.
- Tomas (10/5): -
- Benjamin (10/5): -

- Kelli (10/5): - The breakfast every day was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The villa is absolutely stunning Transportation from central sorrento (ferry) to the hotel would be nice. We paid a very over priced taxi to get there

- Lesley (10/5): Staff were extremely attentive and polite! - Unfortunately, we were not able to stay at Capo Santa Fortunata because of an issue with the hot water, but the staff took care of absolutely everything and transferred us to an amazing hotel downtown in Sorrento. It was just beautiful! They put us up in a suite overlooking the sea and Mount Vesuvius. It was amazing! 10 out of 10. Nothing
- Simon (10/5): - Beautiful location just out of Sorrento but our suite had a massive balcony with sweeping views of the coast line. The staff served a beautiful breakfast each day & we loved Chardonnay the dog!
- Natalìa (10/5): -
- Kenneth (10/5): - Staff, property fantastic. Lovely.
- Petra Maria (10/5): - Das Haus, das Personal, alles perfekt und einzigartig! ---
- Kristina (10/5): - Unbelievably beautiful property with stunning views. The staff were incredible- friendly and efficient. We felt welcomed and cared for. Drive to the property could be a little hairy for inexperienced drivers! But that is hardly the fault of the property! Well worth it :-)
- Nicole (10/5): Italian summer done right - Beautiful, tucked away from the bustle of Sorrento. The villa is breathtaking, in a sea of apartments and hotels this feels like Italy. Views in every direction, I was so sad to leave. I can’t wait to be back. Staff was lovely and warm. Thank you!
- Ian (10/5): Superb in every way - A stunning house with beautiful views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. All the staff were really friendly and breakfast is wonderful. The view from our terrace was amazing and the pool area is very relaxing.
- Nihir (10/5): - We spent 3 nights at Capo Santa Fortunata and had an amazing experience. The property is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character. Breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh, a lovely way to start the day.
A special mention to Teresa, who truly made our stay exceptional. She was incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with everything—from local tips to booking a fantastic restaurant. Her warmth and hospitality really stood out.
Highly recommended for a tranquil and authentic Sorrento stay!
- Mihaela (10/5): - Location and hospitality. Teresa was opened and welcoming, she answered any questions or requests promptly. The shower should be changed.
- Luca (10/5): - Tutto impeccabile! Niente
- Kristina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosa (10/5): Luogo del cuore - Capo santa fortunata è la villa del nostro cuore. Una delle più belle della costiera. Un posto magico
- Amy (10/5): Perfection - Stunning, quiet, outstanding staff who went out of their way to make our stay amazing!
- Miranda (10/5): Peaceful retreat in the hills of Sorrento - Location was absolutely amazing, we had a stunning view of the water with Mt Vesuvius in the distance, it was magical. The staff were so accommodating to every request and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. The gardens are so peaceful. The pool was not working during our stay but the staff arranged for us to have complimentary access to a beach club which was a highlight of our stay! Thanks to Teresa and all the team who made us feel right at home. Nothing.
- Anna (10/5): - Everything was superb
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional villa, wonderful staff and stunning views. - I have never written an online review before, but I have never stayed anywhere quite like Capo Santa Fortunata before either. It was truly exceptional. From the moment we were greeted by Angelo (with glasses of chilled champagne on our beautiful private terrace) to the moment we left (Lina and Rosario having a very early start to give us a full breakfast, despite us saying a coffee and croissant would be fine at 06.45), our stay was truly magical. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the villa itself is out of this world. We stayed in the Don Giovanni suite and it was stunning (and spotlessly clean). We had so many plans as to what we would do with our time in Sorrento, but the villa was just so beautiful we ended up ditching half of them so we could spend more time by the pool, just taking in the wonderful atmosphere.
In terms of location, it is a bit out of town, but, as long as you're not in a rush, the buses are great and the walk do-able (we walked both up and down to the town on several occasions). Its location also gives you one of the best views in Sorrento.
We cannot recommend Capo Santa Fortunata enough and only hope we can go back in the not too distant future. It was all wonderful. My only comment would be that it is out of town, but for us that was part of the charm. It was extremely peaceful and the location gave stunning views.
- David (10/5): Wonderful. Highly recommend -
- Hannah (10/5): Magical secret villa in Sorrento - The room was amazing, absolutely huge - and that was the smaller one! Incredible grounds with a pool and breakfast in the morning. Staff were so lovely and welcoming, a special shoutout to Teresa who went above and beyond and even helped us to order in a takeaway from a local restaurant. 10/10 would stay here again. The only tiny downside is the location (just to be aware) it is easier if you have a car, or it will be a long walk to Sorrento. I believe there might be a shuttle bus though!
- Miguel (10/5): One of my best travelling experiences, if not the best. - Outstanding building and garden, unique location, beautiful views. Nothing
- Efraim (10/5): Exceptional - In my opinion the most beautiful villa in Sorrento. The design, the garden and the view are amazing. The attitude is wonderful and the rooms are comfortable. A short distance to the nearest parking lot to the old city. Highly recommended.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - OMG! This was an amazing experience! Luciano was the most attentive person. Thank you!
- Brenda (10/5): - It was like a dream come true. The welcoming and warm kindness of everyone we met there, the delicious breakfast banquet, the awesome staff, the breathtaking views, the adorable dogs, the amazing villa and grounds. You get an unprecedented feeling of happiness being here. We truly enjoyed this beautiful paradise.
- lydia (10/5): - Stunning property & Hotel. Staff were excellent, breakfast was amazing. Views were breathtaking. Highly recommend, this property and facilities are amazing.
- Mor (9/5): Superb -
- Mac871 (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - This property is absolutely spectacular. The staff are very friendly. The views are breathtaking. The house is amazing.
- Ani (10/5): Exceptional - It's very beautiful house, with very friendly stuff, very good location
- Ulyana (10/5): **An Unforgettable Stay at a Dream Villa!** - Our stay at this incredible villa was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Teresa, who went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home.
The villa itself is a stunning retreat. The staff at the villa were equally wonderful—always friendly, discreet, and attentive to our needs. They made sure everything was taken care of so that we could fully relax and enjoy our vacation.
The location of the villa is ideal, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. Whether lounging by the pool or exploring the nearby attractions, every moment of our stay was a delight.
Thank you, Teresa, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!
- Anat (10/5): - Amazing experience, everything was perfect. The warm welcome and hospitality, the BEST breakfast and service by Happiness and the rest of the staff, the panoramic view, the place itself- so unique and unusual. We’ll be back for sure. Definitely recommend!
- Shweta (8/5): Very good - Great vintage hotel - felt like living in someone's home. The suite we booked was huge with ample space and a beautiful balcony with great views. The pool and the grounds were beautiful. Great breakfast with multiple options. There were no restaurants near the location. It wasn't easy to figure out lunch and dinner options around the place. The service one gets is not comparable to what you would get at hotels at the same price.
- Yessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Supreet (8/5): Very good -
- Wenting (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): - We loved our stay and hope to return in the future!
- Kirsten (10/5): Dream location! - The stay at Capo Santa Fortunata was a dream! The ground are magnificient with view on the ocean and a big terrace dedicated to the room. Teresa and the team were fantastic and went above & beyond to make my stay special. I would book this place any time again!
- Chirag (9/5): Superb -
- Natasa (10/5): Will come back when we’ll be around. - The villa is outstanding, with perfect location in a beautiful garden with palms, flowers, lemon and orange trees - away from tourists and noise.
If you have a car, the parking is easy and safe - on the property.
Theresa and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. /
- Belén (9/5): Superb - Very good breakfast, super king staff Could offer a shuttle from the port to the hotel for the arrival
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful. Great views. Accommodating staff. A little hard to find, but that was my fault. A little far away from everything but I could just stay there.
- Malene (10/5): Exceptional - View, bedroom, balcony, bathroom, bathroom amenities, shower, nearby swimming spot, recommendations, communication, travel assistance, helpful host. Breakfast was not ready.
- Anonymous (8/5): Love the location and feel of the property. Could use a face lift a bit though. - Theresa! She is so welcoming friendly and helpful!
Love the peaceful quiet of property. Needs updating. Needs better electrical, WiFi, smart charging etc.
House is cluttery, could use some organizing and simplifying when it comes to decor. Weird mix of decor styles.
Breakfast was fresher/better five years ago.
Yard/property needs some tlc. Old lounge chairs, cushions etc.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Capa Santa Fortunata is a spectacular property and was the perfect place to stay for a true Sorrento experience. We loved the ambiance and the views. Our room was incredible! Teresa was also helpful. It's such a special property and while breakfast was incredible, it would be nice to offer something to guests on arrival, or to have snacks out during appertivo etc to enjoy out near the pool area.
- Jill (9/5): Overall, it was a lovely start to our Italian holiday. - Nice vibe! Out of the way location.
- Anonymous (10/5): This was the nicest and most relaxing we stayed during our three weeks in Italy. Breathtaking views from private terrace - Teresa and the entire staff was fantastic. It was the most beautiful and most romantic place we’ve ever been to. Sunrise, sunsets, moon rises, star gazing all from our large private terrace. Views are second to known. Teresa gave great recommendations for dinners where locals eat. Also arranged for our rental scooter to be delivered to the property for our connivence. Breakfast was fantastic each morning. Staff can’t do enough for you. We are already planning our return trip. Can’t wait. Don’t miss out on this amazing unique property. You won’t regret it. Not a thing!
- Lisa (10/5): An all Italian dream come true, princess for a day! - We have never been to such a beautiful place as this and I travelled a lot. A historic mansion filled with a beautiful personal collection of art, paintings and ceramics! The house is beyond a dream, like being in an Italian movie. If you love Italian vintage, this is your place. Bit it also has the modern comfort for a relaxed no stress vacation. Teresa makes sure you have everything you need and is always available for questions, so is the staff. Breakfast is fenomenal with fresh pastry, fruits, and eggs etc. The staff is super friendly! It’s not like the crowded unpersonal hotels in the area but more like staying at a (very wealthy haha) Italian family member. It was very serene and calm as there were almost no other people. It is also used as a wedding venue, and you can totally see why when you see it, an all Italian dream. The swimming pool is incredibly beautiful, as are all the surrounding gardens. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom in blue tiles and marble is a true beauty. If you want to live the Italian dream and feel like royalty for some days, come here. There is a road just next to the entrance gate that leads to the most beautiful beach I have ever been. I can’t imagine not going back to this beautiful place, because I miss it allready. Thank you so much to Teresa and the staff. We hope to return someday! Absolutely nothing, don’t change a thing!
- Aleks (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): - Incredibly beautiful villa and property. We had a spacious room and huge private terrace with spectacular views of the sea. The villa is very well kept, gorgeously furnished, with attentive and thoughtful hosts. We loved it here!
- Angela (8/5): Lovely room with fantastic views. More like staying in someone’s house as it’s not a hotel. - The suite was stunning with great views.if you want to immerse yourself in real Italian living then it’s wonderful.
You chime with the rhythms of the family & are left to just be. The villa is full of soul, beautiful antiques & touches. Fantastic position. Bit out of the way, poor Wi-Fi - we had teenagers - gym was unclean & machines needed set up. No iron in room, old sockets so adaptors didn’t work. I feel it’s a little Overpriced as it could do with some maintenance but that’s maybe part of the charm?
- Jessie (9/5): Superb - The Villa is absolutely stunning. Teresa was incredibly helpful and took care of every detail perfectly. The Restaurant’s she recommended were some of the best we had in Italy. Highly recommended. Only negative is that it is a little out of town and we had some difficulty with taxi’s finding the location. Having your own vehicle would be ideal otherwise booking ahead or through Teresa.
- eugene (10/5): - This place was amazing. Very spacious and quite! Pool was a nice bonus!
- Emelia (10/5): Exceptional - spectacular, everything about it. The views are some of the best I’ve ever seen. Teresa was a wonderful host. If in Sorrento this accommodation is a must. Thank you for having us, we will come again!
- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional - View was amazing, decorations were amazing, the fact that you can literally stroll into the lemon and vegetable gardens, or enjoy a coffee by the pool made us not want to leave the villa at all. there isn't anything I didn't like
- Fran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Beautiful capo in Sorrento - Host Teresa very welcoming and helping, beautiful property Nothing
- Leland (10/5): Incredible property and stunning views - We had a wonderful stay at Capo Santa Fortunata. The property is an exquisitely maintained villa with an incredible hillside view of Sorrento. The staff are wonderful and the house has an incredible design aesthetic - in addition to freshly cut flowers, the owner's unique collection of Sicilian ceramic heads is on display. The pool is stunning.
We look forward to returning the next time we visit the amalfi coast.
- Nitzan (10/5): A real treat for a special occasion - Great views, great breakfast, special atmosphere. A real treat for a special occasion.
Gardens are beautiful and a private swimming pool for just a few guests. It is good as a special experience, you stay at an old villa that has beautiful decor but is not fully modern and not designed to have "hotel" facilities.
- Nitzan (10/5): Amazing stay at a grand villa - A unique experience- staying in a grand villa with fantastic setting and views.
Comfy, special, great breakfast, helpful staff. Wouldn't change, it's all part of the charm
- Andreas (10/5): a perfect stay in a perfect location with lovely people - spacious, very green and very well maintained - phantastic location!! nothing
- Ian (10/5): Going back for sure. - Long before we arrived, Teresa reached out to help with our travel arrangements. We were surprised and delighted when we first saw our apartment. The staff, led by Marissa, treated us like family, and we loved Audrey, the dog! Having to leave. If you walk into Sorrento, the traffic and narrow road can be a little daunting at first, but we did it a number of times and its a good workout.
- Anonymous (10/5): wonderful beautiful home away from home - everything is amazing. The place is beautiful the room is big very nice design comfortable make u feel at home we didn’t want to leave and it upgraded our vacation we will come back for sure , all the stuff we’re extremely nice thank u
- Arno (10/5): Gorgeous Family Villa very near to Sorrento - The breakfast was great. The view on our balcony was gorgeous. Parking at the yard was practical.
The staff were very helpful. Everything was great. We would definitely revisit.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Theresa was an amazing host and even got us lunch on our arrival. The location and view are stunning.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - especially Teresa is very helpful and a kind person.
- Genti (10/5): Exceptional - The place is amazing. Nature, apartment, staff, city.
Unbelievable experience
- Enkelejd (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property, well-curated, clean, friendly, and helpful people. Thank you to Teresa for making our stay with the kids a pleasure
Like an island from a past time, a jewel
- Kaire (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (9/5): great location and friendly and helpful staff. would book the suite next time though - Staff really friendly and helpful, you only had to ask wish we had booked the suite. more space.
- Valentin (10/5): Exceptional - Everithing
- Georgina (9/5): Superb - Beautiful view! Teresa was very responsive and did an excellent job of getting us great transportation to local sites. We were never without food but the option to have dinner would be a nice addition.
- Samuel (10/5): A perfect week in a perfect place - Capo Santa Fortunata is truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. We stayed for a week in early October and our junior suite felt luxurious yet personal for our family of four. The grounds, outdoor facilities and pool were all fantastic and as we had them mostly to ourselves through the week, they greatly enhanced our stay. The views to Sorrento and the bay of Naples only added to an already impressive package.
Teresa and her team (with special mention to Mariella and Marisa) were always on hand to help make the most of our trip and even arranged a delicious mousse cake for my wife on her birthday. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always made to feel like part of their family. A very special break in a beautiful, caring and enchanting place. Should you wish to visit Sorrento itself, there is a 2km walk along a busy road but buses and cabs are readily available. Additionally, should you wish to walk on a quieter route, there is a slightly longer path up and through the hillside village. Well worth a visit if you’re not in a rush (and why rush?).
- Alexis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): Perfect in every way, the Villa, grounds, people & breakfast could not have been better! - Absolutely a paradise! Most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed My dream to live there hasn’t come true …yet!
- Andrew (10/5): One of a kind Masterpiece - A beautiful property with very kind and accommodating staff who make you feel very welcome! The breakfast is amazing and the panoramic view is one of a kind! I will definitely be back whenever I return to Sorrento. Also looks like a wonderful place to have weddings. No complaints at all, simply outstanding. We only stayed 1 night :)
- Avishai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay - The location is a bit far from the city centre, it would not be a problem if you drive a car. the staff is super lovely, with cats and dogs around the household. Breakfast is a feast! The villa is a bit worn out, but considering it is a vintage b&b, I would say it is part of the experience.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Theresa was available and helpful. Angela checked us in, told us about the villa, and described the delicious breakfast. The staff was friendly, the grounds beautiful, and our view from our room was stunning. We enjoyed wine on our private terrace with a view of Mt. Vesuvius. This was a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum. Well worth the splurge!
- Rebecka (10/5): Exceptional - The house is absolutely stunning with a lot of historical pieces and amazing atmosphere. The host Teresa was really helpful, welcoming and made us feel at home. Will visit again!
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): A beautiful home away from home set in a stunning location. - The position of the villa is absolutely stunning with beautiful views across the Bay of Naples. Set in its own extensive private grounds you are world away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, yet it’s only a 5 minute drive away. the pool area is a fantastic spot and we had to purse most of the time. Teresa, Marinella and the team looked after us beautifully; breakfast, lunch and drinks by the pool were provided together with trays from the garden like fresh figs. The rooms are ‘shabby chic’, but every comfort is provided. The fixed air conditioning units in the room (Juinor Suite) weren’t particularly effective however a mobile air con unit was provided once we made the team aware, which really helped for sleeping at night (especially in August). It would be good to have an information sheet in the room describing what’s available (lunches, delivery of evening meals if required etc) however Teresa was always available on WhatsApp and very responsive to any questions.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - The host Teresa was lovely, the location is incredible and we were lucky to have total privacy the whole time. The views and setting are beautiful and the room was clean and super comfortable, and beautifully furnished. breakfast also excellent!
Cannot believe it is listed as a 3 star place, it is much nicer than that.
- Lucy (10/5): EVERYTHING & EVERYONE at the Villa is spectacular!!! It is blissful and full of love!! We were treated as family!! W - EVERYTHING was dreamy! From the hospitality to the setting, everything was just simply perfect!! Teresa is so sweet, accommodating, and always available for guidance and help. Marissa, Lena, and Rosario also made us feel at home…just like family!! Each of them will stay with us in our hearts always!
- Stefano (8/5): Beautiful property, hotel could use maintenance - The hotel is nice and the grounds are immaculate. The only issue was that our room air conditioner did not work. The first 2 nights it blew hot air and we could not turn it off which made it unbearable. Once they fixed it it barely blew cold air and the room was still hot which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is magical. We were the only people there. My husband actually proposed to me in the terrace. It is a beautiful place.
