- CLEMENT (6/5): Un séjour décevant, en deca des standards d'un hôtel de ce standing - La surface de la chambre Petit déjeuner très en dessous de ce qui est proposé dans les hôtels internationaux tant en terme de qualité que de diversité. La température de la chambre était difficilement réglable, il faisait chaud même en coupant le chauffage qui était ensuite rallumé systématiquement par les femmes de ménage. Hôtel peu adapté à un déplacement professionnel: je demande comment fonctionne le service de blanchisserie à l'accueil (qui parle très mal anglais) et on me répond que je peux utiliser la machine à laver de ma chambre... Le lendemain je donne le linge à l'accueil après avoir trouvé le sac pour la blanchisserie, le linge n'a pas été retourné le jour même contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur le formulaire et confirmé à l'accueil, si bien que j'ai du porter les mêmes vêtements deux jours de suite... Aucune excuses de la part de l'hôtel ... Enfin, nous avons recu un appel de la réception à 4h du matin, je demande pourquoi le lendemain, personne ne savait dire pourquoi. Bref un mauvais séjour, je ne reviendrai pas.

- Christian (8/5): - Spektakuläre Aussicht in der 50 Etage. Wirklich unglaublich für Landeier wie mich. Das Zimmer war auch sehr gut, nur der Trockner war ein Witz wenngleich ein Siemensgerät. Hisense hätte vielleicht besser funktioniert. Die Lage kann man auch nur als sehr gut befinden, mit der Metro ist jeder schnell am Hauptbahnhof, oder nach einmal umsteigen nach 50 Minuten am Flughafen. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich, aber leider sind viele Gerüchte bestenfalls lauwarm oder kalt. Das Personal im Restaurant habe ich auch als herzlichenr empfunden als an der Rezeption.

- Greg (7/5): Not the best in Wuxi, but better than most. - The hotel was very central and in a great location. The room was nice and big. Had a Nespresso coffee machine. And the view was impressive. Breakfast was horrible. It's one of the worst. On arriving, the floor in the unit was very dirty. Requested it to be clean, which was then done. Some of the cooking smells coming from open doors were not great.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional Value - The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit of over 1100 sq ft is an amazing value. The unit was very contemporary and very well maintained. It was like a small house with even a separate laundry room of good size. All appliances are top line and in good condition. My unit was a corner one, with lots of windows. You’ll have a great view since the hotel starts on the 40th floor of a 52 story building. Location is terrific. There’s an historic park directly outside and the building is in the heart of the busy downtown area. The line 1 metro (exit 11A) is 3 minutes away on the same side of the street. Tip: Wuxi metro is a small easily navigated system and many of the sights can be reached quickly. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at this Ascott!

So the TV channel resolution is not sharp at all. This is not compatible with 5-star hotel standard. 2. The breakfast variety can be improved.

- Alex (2/5): - That was once a very nice hotel but not anymore. Before our arrival, we have explicitly notified the hotel our precise arrival time (which would be a bit late in the evening) and have also explicitly requested for a room on a high floor. But then the check-in process was expectedly painful - we needed to remind the staff several times in multiple languages (first in English, then in their native tongue) during the check-in process that we were checking in before we were seriously served. They have taken no attention on our request and despite the fact the hotel was pretty empty, they ended up allocating us the most torn room on the lowest floor of their hotel - the toilet of that room was absolutely disgusting. We are paying the full rate (around 2-3 times more expensive than a similar hotel room nearby). Totally disappointed. And that's just the beginning, during the stay we encountered various issues (some of the lamps were not working, the toilet was extremely dirty and get congested from time to time, the TV couldn't be turned on - all kinds of issues one would expect from a really cheap and poorly managed hotel), we consider the whole stay as a lesson learned, and we are definitely not returning.

- 0kelvink (6/5): Good apartment hotel - This apartment hotel is located at city center and it is just a 2-3 mins walk to the nearest MRT station. There are a lot of eateries/restaurants...etc nearby that serve a wide varieties of food and so you don't have to worry about having the same kind of food everyday. The lobby of this hotel is relatively small but it is sufficient to serve its purpose. There are no bell boys to bring your luggage to your room when you check in. All the rooms are located at high floors and therefore the view from all rooms should be nice. My room was big and clean and it comes with good internet connection, soundbar, washing machine, induction stoves, oven, microwave...etc. Apart from you, there is a gym and swimming pool on the 8th floor. The breakfast was not too good as there were limited choice and they served the breakfast late most of the time. The quality of the service from this hotel was quite bad and the management should take drastic steps to improve on that as soon as possible.
- danielaI6579BU (10/5): Studio with amazing view - Stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms are spacious with kitchen, refrigerator, iron & safe. Has a studio apartment feel to it. Central location close to shopping and restaurants & about a 20 minutes walk to Old town Wuxi Modern furniture and still has a newer feel to it. Maybe 2 years old. Comfortable bed & a good sized bathroom. I was on the 43rd floor and had a wonderful view of Wuxi. Fitness room/gym was adequate with the lap swimming pool stealing the show. Also have a sauna. Quite an impressive breakfast with chef taking orders for omelettes. I also ordered dinner from the restaurant (club sandwich) & it was very good. Some of the staff spoke english and if not they used their apps or got support from their colleagues. Overall, very service minded. Would highly recommend.
- Marcio (10/5): Wonderful hotel in Wuxi - China - That was my 3rd time in Wuxi, and the 2nd in this hotel. It is really wonderful place. Very comfortable, the room is amazing, my room was in the 43rd floor with an incredible city view. The breakfast was very nice, but the corridors was a little dirty, nothing that comprised the hotel quality. It is very well located. I recommend it in any kind of trip, business or vacation.

- Hawkdai007 (4/5): Not up to Acott Standard and the software needs to be improved - Stayed there for 4 night with my family while we visited Wuxi. The hotel has a very sold hardware and a best possible location within Wuxi City. However the software of this hotel has hugely let us down. 1) The staff was not very friendly and helpful. When we ask them do us some small favours, they do not consider the fact that we have two over 70-year old persons and one 4-year kid but always repeated and remind us what is hotel's rule. 2) Also some strange mgt rules, a nice Nespresso machine was in placed for the guests in our 2-bed room flat but only one coffee cube was provided while we are having 4 adults. I asked the staff whether they think this arrangement is logical or not and they just said it was hotel rule. The good things are they are finally agreed to provide 4 cubes each day from the 3rd nights. 3) The hotel is full of mosquitos and I got averagely speaking 2-3 bites each day and I complained the staff who just smiled without doing anything. 4) Over my first breakfast, I spotted a kitchen staff was playing with his mobile phone while he was cooking the food.I told him off by saying it is breach of health and safety of any hotel but the answer I got is this was none of my business and he wont touch the actual food any away. I complained to the mgt who handled it really appalling. Then next day , my wife found a cleared lipstick mark which was left possibly by previous guests in her coffee cup. 5) Over the hotel , there is even no a public area where the guests can relax themselves and having a coffee to socialise. 6) The kid play room was fully of chemical smell initially and after I complained to the mgt and they just open the door of room as a kind of ventilation. There have been so many teething issues over my stay so overall I do not think it is up for Ascott standard and would not recommend to anybody.
- paolom644 (8/5): Excellent Service apartment - Service apartment opened few years ago, well cleaned and complete of many comfort (good internet connection, cinema room, swimming pool, gym). Perfect location in Wuxi downtown, close to railway station and to subway. Restaurant to be improved.
- robincU6188RV (10/5): Lovely Property in the Clouds - The hotel is situated right smack downtown on the pedestrian street. Lots of restaurants and shops line the pedestrian street so food and shopping is a plenty. Access to the hotel is via a small path leading to a car park off the main road. The entrance to the hotel is beyond the car park entrance (do not turn into the car park) and is usually blocked off with plastic cones giving one an impression that the road ends there. Hoot your car horn and the security guard will appear to ask what your business is. Just tell the guard that you are staying in the hotel. The lobby though small has a very tall ceiling and is beautifully appointed. There is a sitting area with comfortable sofas facing a large shelf. Fruits are available for free at the check in counter. Service is efficient and very friendly. The rooms are high up on the 40+ floors and lift to the rooms are fast and available. Upon entering the room, one is taken aback by the size and view. Being so tall, the rooms afford beautiful unobstructed views of the city. Some rooms have bigger dinning areas, while others have very large toilets. Beds and pillows are very comfortable with good support. Furnishing is modern and simple using good material affording a posh finish. Space usage is excellent! Breakfast is rather good on the eight floor, right next to the gym and indoor swimming pool. There is a variety of western and local food. On my last visit they did not serve sausages but served a fantastic meatball in tomato sauce. The hotel staff are very helpful going out of their way to assist their guests.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Nice Hotel Downtown with Bad Service - This is a nice hotel, I have stayed there twice now. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the city views are fabulous. It's a great location downtown, right next to many malls and restaurants. Subway right outside the hotel doors. Breakfast fare is adequate, everyone can find something to eat, although not at all on the same level as other hotels at this price point. It's good for families because of the many amenities - like kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Or for anyone who plans to stay in Wuxi more than a handful of days and would like more of the comforts of home. The swimming pool is nice and there is a kids play area for young children. My disappointment with the hotel is the service. Both times I've gone to the hotel I've had bad experiences with the front desk. Service at hotels in China is usually disappointing so if you are used to that, maybe the other qualities of the hotel will compensate that loss. For me personally, to spend $190 or 1,380 rmb on a room per night and to have to spend the last part of my stay dealing with employees who do not show any care or concern about customer satisfaction was upsetting. I've lived in China nine years, and after 2 visits to this hotel, I'm done. Wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't go back because this place lacks value - high cost, but low service. I suggest you try the Intercontinental, or the Hyatt if you want to be downtown.
- Andy100w (10/5): Nice location, nice hotel! - This hotel is very centrally located and is next to the intersection of the two subway lines of Wuxi. It is very clean and its appliances in the room are top notch.
- 613CarlosR (10/5): Awesome Place to Stay (or to live Ex-Pat) - When I started making plans to comeback to Wuxi for a business trip, I decided to look for a more centric place so I search for familiar serviced apartments such as Ascott or Fraser and found The Ascott Central Wuxi. Located in the heart of Wuxi the place is perfect. Relative new apartments with a small park that could be referred as its back yard and a huge underground mall right underneath the building. I got a room on the 48th floor and the view of the city is fenomenal (few demolitions in te view but the rest is great). The one bedroom suite is spacious , with all the amenities including a kitchenette with a washer/dryer. Breakfast included in the nice restaurant which is located in the 8th floor. Definitely a place to come back and enjoy.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent place as home away from home - Location of hotel is conveniently connected to high speed train station by subway. Plenty of choices for food and entertainment around within walking distance. Staff are well trained and helpful. One critical shortfall however is the way the building management in handling cleaning of exterior glass panels. Water is showering on pedestrian walkway without any warning or sheltering precaution. This is obviously unacceptable.

- zsx11 (8/5): Very good hotel - Stayed one night. The hotel room is clean, spacious. Bed is comfortable. Meets all the needs for a traveller that wants comfortable lodgings. The location is very good in the city and within short driving distance from xihui garden. Breakfast is ok. I would have set excellent, but I found the room a little cold than I expected and after querying, was told that heater mode has not been activated yet. The hotel offers extra blankets though if needed. It will be good if there are instructions on how to use the dryer cum washing machine because I waited a long while to wait for dryer to cool because machine has safety locking mode after drying ended and in the end I still have to get hotel staff help to open door of dryer.

Beware booking this type of suits cause it has 3 design. 2 type design is amazing beautiful and great view but other 1 design is very bad,when u open your door, u will see kitchen then toilet connected to your room. Tips ask for floor above 50 level.

- SorensenKL (8/5): Beautiful Modern Accomodation in Wuxi Centre - Everything a business traveller would want in long-stay serviced apartment style accommodation. Washer/dryer, basic kitchen and all necessary wares available. High speed wireless internet, exquisite pool, fitness centre, dining room. A home away from home, perfectly located downtown, right on top of the metro line 1/2 underground mall. Though a new facility, it is already starting to show some signs of wear, an indication that the speed of construction and finishing was prioritized over quality. In 5 years I foresee that without a major refurbishment, this will be another sad story and the next newest thing will be waiting down the street. In 2016, it is very nice and perfect for settling down in Wuxi for awhile.

- 958darrylw (10/5): Bloody Fantastic - This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in China. The Property is right in town and you can see the train station from your room window. The rooms have floor to ceiling glass and the view is spectacular. Everything is in the room, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, full size fridge. We woke up one morning up in the clouds, it was so surreal. Would highly recommend this place to stay if you are travelling to Wuxi.
- 29rainb (10/5): Best service apartment hotel in Wuxi City - Definately Ascott Wuxi is the best service apartment hotel in wuxi city, everything is brand new as well the service of staff is excellent, the room floor is higher than other hotels thus you can enjoy better view in the room, I had a fantastic stay here, highly recommended.
