Guest Reviews
- picotte (6/5): - It was quite and the back had a nice open field for.my dog. That the shower in my room wasn't working the next morning.
- Mike (10/5): - Close to work location, the pizza is amazing. Alot of parking for your work equipment. I was there for work so all I did was sleep there. There was nothing that I really didn't like about it.
- Sharon (6/5): -

- Guest (10/5): Perfect if your looking for a clean place to lay your head - Clean and just what I needed
- Guest (10/5): - Great value for the money.
- Robinson (8/5): - The staff was super friendly and helpful. I arrived after the restaurant had closed but they made a meal for me anyway and it was delicious! The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. It's not new or fancy which for me isn't a big deal as it was clean and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me as a woman traveling alone was that the security latch was broken. Having said that...I did feel safe.
- Chris (10/5): - Great place
- Suzanna M (8/5): - The shower was wonderful. A lot of pressure and lots of hot water. Beds are also very comfortable.
- Serhii (10/5): - Nice place to stay. Clean, stuff do cleaning every day.
- Savannah (8/5): - Overall wonderful for the price. Great staff. Lovely room.
- Grace (8/5): - The price point was good for this property.
- Kelly (6/5): - The room itself was clean and the beds small but very comfortable. They could use a new sink The most concerning part was that the room door had no deadbolt or security chain. The entrance to the rooms feels a little scetchy and as I was staying alone, I felt very uncomfortable. If they installed some security measures to the door it would be very helpful. The staff were all very nice. No blow dryers. Not even at the main office.
- Shane (8/5): - Typical small town motel. Beds were comfortable, shower good. Room clean
- Dennis (2/5): Not a friendly place to stay. - Close to the highway Dripping faucet. Unable to use air conditioner as there were two beds in a small room, one up against the air unit. The plugs were empty, unable to plug in hearing aids etc. charged $2.00 for a tea bag! No Kleenex.
- Kristina (10/5): - Room was updated very clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Definitely a 2 Star stay - The rooms were clean enough but they were not comfortable. It was odd to have space heaters in each room and the temperature control wasn't great.
- Sandra (8/5): A convenient overnight stop. I would stay there again. - The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient. The hotel was very good value for the money.
- James (8/5): Very good - Very quiet, beds were comfortable and we received room service daily The heat wasn't working but they did provide us with a space heater, and the bathtub taps are in need of repair they leaked for the 3 days we were there, really only minor things, but overall no complaints would stay again
- Kurt (9/5): Superb -
- Dan (9/5): Superb -
- Kurt (9/5): Superb -
- Hailey (8/5): - Prices are reasonable, facility did the job for an emergency overnight stay. Jo - the bar & kitchen, was phenomenal. Super nice and friendly. We sat and visited with her for several hours and she was an absolute joy to be around!!
- Daryl (8/5): - Quiet, clean place to sleep for the night before catching the train in the morning. I did find the room very warm, and despite turning down the thermostat it didn't seem to cool things down much. Not super fancy, and the filters for the coffee pot were the wrong size... It made terrible coffee in the morning! However, it was quiet, I slept well, and was able to catch my train.
- Tanner (6/5): - The room was really uncomfortablely warm and there was no heat control.
- Steven (4/5): - Easy access from highway
- Heather (7/5): Short and sweet - Location couldn’t be closer to the rink Hard beds, too many mirrors
- Mark (10/5): - Excellent!
- Fabarm (8/5): Very good -
- Dean (10/5): - Room was fine. Good value.
Staff was very accommodating.
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helena (6/5): - Friendly staff. Old building requires upgrading. Mirror falling off the wall, chair legs unsafe. Could use a deadbolt for security.
- Patrick (10/5): - A little outdated but a great option for a motel. Very clean
- Jaunita (10/5): I would definitely stay here again. - It was very clean and the people were very nice and helpful Very clean & comforting rooms with very friendly ladies at the front desk. The VLTs was a bonus lol
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stay was good. Room was clean. Staff was very obliging. Very good for lower end motel.
- Shawna (6/5): - Wasnt great room service , had to ask for garbage bags, towels and toilet paper !
- Frank (3/5): Poor -
- Kathleen (4/5): - Nothing
- Jeff (6/5): - I would not stay again even though I like the people running it
- VANCE (8/5): - Nice clean room, all worked, good price will stay again
- Kimberley (10/5): - no frills stay, super nice staff. its not the ritz, its a very basic stay for an excellent price. definitely would recommend.
- Patricia (2/5): - Barely any plugins in the room, 3 different types of bugs walking around, dirty
- don d (6/5): - Motel is older, but typical for small towns.
Room was awesome, very very good bed, linens were at least 1200 count, TV and AC worked great
- Henry (7/5): Good -
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (6/5): - It was ok.
Property very dirty with waste piled up
- Kurt (7/5): All in all was good - Beds were comfy and fan was a bonus Ac was up against the wall, bed so it didn’t get much circulation, bathroom sink was rusted and a bit of mold on tub area
- Paul (6/5): - It was adequate the cleanliness was good. There is lot of maintenance issues
- Odyssey29143726309 (10/5): Not too shabby!! Nice and clean. - This little place doesn’t look like much from the outside but the rooms are clean with everything you need. People and pet friendly with a cute happy cozy bar and restaurant on the premises and also a very good Japanese restaurant across the street.
The town is just down the street and gas too.
Thanks Roma!!!
- Lorraine (2/5): - They have bed bugs. And when i went to the front desk they argued with me and denied a bed bug problem. They said whats the problem too many bed bugs. I said any amount of bed bugs is too many. I could see several without even moving the sheets around. I asked for a refund. I have not received any refund yet
- VANCE (6/5): - Clean, good bed, air fridge work, good price
- alan (6/5): - Better on the inside than outward appearance.
- Kerriann (8/5): - Basic Motel, good place to rest your head for the night.
- Esther (6/5): Ok to spend the night - Was very clean but could definitely use some upgrading, the television provided did not work.
- Neal (6/5): - Staff was good.
- Terrea (8/5): - Good and friendly service - especially enjoyed my experience with the bartender/ cook and friend.
- Tiffany (1/5): Would not recommend. - The staff were unprofessional. The bathroom was dirty, no plug for the bath, broken hot water tap, and mould on the shower curtain.
- Aaron (6/5): - This property is walking distance to the hockey rink! The room was clean and the price was right for the motel
- Boersen (1/5): It was very poor. Some pipe noise woke us all up at 4 am an continued all early hours of morning - Service was very poor. No info on wifi or instructions for the fb. Had to ask for extra blankets on cold winter night. Heat was very little The whole motel
- Mctavish (1/5): Bad -
- Reg (8/5): - The property is in the rebuilding stage. I imagine the rooms will have an upgrade in the future to not look so dated.
Beyond that, the bed was comfortable, and the room was warm on one of the coldest nights of the year.
- Kennedy (3/5): Poor -
- Craig (8/5): - The limited staff do a great job making you feel at home. Stayed 4 nights didn't get any housekeeping. Overall for the price I would go back again
- Mackenzie (10/5): - Clean and quiet. Comfy beds and right across the street from an excellent sushi restaurant. Walking distance to pretty much everything in town. We were there a week so it would have been nice to have had a bigger room for the two of us but the one we had worked fine. Price for room was also very reasonable.
- Alvin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sara (4/5): - It looked ok from the outside in front, but the back side was full of garbage. I was hesitant to even take my dogs out back. The hot water to our sink was turned off because the pipe was broken. Someone's dog started barking and whining during the night and didn't stop. In the morning, when we left, the food from the night before was still on the table in the bar.
- William (10/5): - Clean and reasonably priced, staff were friendly.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Kristina (5/5): Passable -
- David (1/5): Glad I was only there for 1 night - Rude lady, not professional
- Karen (7/5): Not bad but maid needs to check up better in the room - Staff very friendly and nice. One of the bed was very comfortable but the other had something in the sheets. There was a centipede crawling on the bed, flies in the room and there was a dead bug in the bed under one of the sheets. Also there was no washcloth or hand towels
- Brian (7/5): Good -
- Malcolm (6/5): overall the value for money was as expected - Location was great with easy access from the highway and close to the venue that I attended. Room was clean and tidy. My reserved room was not available so I was upgraded to a larger room. Staff member was warm and friendly TV was only basic cable and no wifi. Bed was too soft for me and I had a sore back in the morning. Despite a large "open sign, the office and breakfast facilities were locked so I had to travel elsewhere for breakfast.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable - The food It’s dated. Needs work.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Good location
- Jim (10/5): Great sleep for a weary traveller. - Very friendly staff and quiet. Coffee
- Melanie (6/5): My husband found a bug so the kids were scared to sleep - The beds were very comfortable and the location was good It was very hard to open our doors. There was no breakfast but when we checked in they told us that they haven’t yet updated their booking website
- Verified traveler (8/5): Questionable exterior, but decent room for price - We couldn't get a hotel in Yorkton so we ended up here.
When we first pulled up I was very nervous. The exterior is rundown and definitely needs some improvements (the screen door fell off as soon as I touched it).
Check-in took a while since they couldn't find my reservation (I had only booked it a few hours earlier).
Staff was very polite and friendly though.
The room itself wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
The main area was clean (minus the empty pop can on the night stand). The corners, baseboards, etc needed a clean.
Some updates had been made like no carpet, newer furniture. Bathroom was quite dated, but clean.
Bed was comfy.
It was very quiet for sleeping.
No one was at the desk for check out. I waited a while but had to hit the road so I had to just leave the key at the desk.
Wouldn't be a place I'd want to spend the day relaxing in, but for a cheaper room to just sleep it was alright.
- Joyce (10/5): - Cheap but clean .best bed in a long time!
- Douglas (6/5): - The room was simple and clean. There were minor annoyances such as shortage of towels one day, sink tap didn’t work properly. There was quite noticeable train noise but I probably noticed more since it’s a sound I’m not used to.
- JOHN (4/5): - The foucet is not working, v. Small amount of Toilet paper
- Michael (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was dated. No amenities like hand soap. Limited TV channels. You get a very basic room for a budget price.
- David (10/5): - Nice quiet place to stay. Has a restaurant and bar. Good price
- Jarvis (2/5): - It was not a pleasant experience.
- Anne (4/5): - It was as clean as could be expected for an older property where no upgrading had been done for years. The parking and surrounding area was dirt, mud and garbage strewn about. I picked this place because I was travelling with my dog and it seemed the most convenient according to the website. The bed was quite bad, really lumpy, needless to say I did not get any sleep. I got in late so did not have a shower that night but when I tried to have one the next morning there was not a single drop of hot water. Some of the towels were brown and some were gold…may want to change those. Even though the price was cheap, at the very least there should be hot water. I generally can overlook things especially if staying at a real budget motel, not this time
- Jonathan (6/5): - Good staff and the bed was comfy. Bathroom wasn’t tidy.
- Jessica (7/5): Good -
- Blackmore (3/5): Poor -
- Steve (8/5): - Close to rinks👍. Clean room. Smelled nice
- Amer (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean. Great staff. Has it's own cook on the property. Small back parkinglot.
- Marlene (8/5): I was comfortable and I will stay again. - Bed was comfy and newer furniture
The way the room was Set up and I liked the new flooring Removing the furniture outside, just doesn’t look tidy
Heads up on seeing construction
Dried blood on pillowcase should be thrown out or cleaned out
- Everitt (3/5): beds good, was clean, lacked everything else. - it was clean rooms and good beds no cups for coffee , no breakfast as told would be door was kicked in and was not repaired had to put a chair up at night to keep it closed.
