I was behind the elevator and had noises on and off all night. I thought someone kept knocking on my door. I think the bedside tables need to be bigger. Wish you had showers only vs tub/shower combo.

And the room was quite sizeable. Room had really thin walls so you could hear anyone walking down the hall, whispered conversations from rooms on either side or above it and people outside the front of the hotel getting into their cars talking. Additionally, the pool was out of service for over half our stay and we had been excited to use it during though there was no mention of this prior to our arrival.

The sofa was disgusting it had spots all over it and needed cleaned badly. the ottoman was ready to be thrown out it had big spots of the upholstery had worn spots that were coming off. Shortly after we checked in a housekeeper unlocked and opened our door and just walked in. No knock or anything. The breakfast was cold the eggs were cold the ham was cold the hash browns were cold, and the French toast was cold. The cranberry juice was pink colored water.

In our room, the tub area had black mold in the grout area by the tub faucet and in three areas in the ceiling above the tub. The molding around the bathroom floor was also poorly repaired. Paid a little more to stay at this hotel, but there are many options in the area, so check around. Some rooms have great view-but we arrived in the evening and had a wonderful view of the rear parking lot. Hilton Honors members too. Not sure I’ll stay at many more Hilton’s if the condition of the buildings are this poorly constructed and maintained.

Across the street there are several nice restaurants, and a great Gelato place. Would stay there again. Hotel is located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado which is a wonderful place to live and work. Upper class.

Sofa is filthy - I would not even sit on it! Room has been previously occupied by pets, which I wasn't told or would have declined it - my allergies went in to high alert! Sneezed and runny nose the entire time. Worst pillows I have ever tried to sleep on - filler was all but absent! TV is not programed to "GUIDE" so you have no idea what channel you are selecting. A small bottle of water is $5. as is a Coke!

- courtneyjF6274MP (2/5): Deeply Disappointing Experience – We Will Never Return - Our nonprofit has hosted an annual event in Highlands Ranch for years, and since 2017 we have consistently booked blocks of rooms at this Home2Suites. In the past, we loved staying here because the rooms were clean, spacious, and the staff was professional and kind. Sadly, our most recent stay in September 2025 was so unacceptable that we will never return—and we urge others to think carefully before booking. Reservation & ADA Failure Despite reserving our room block well in advance and reconfirming with staff multiple times, there were repeated issues with guest reservations. The most serious failure involved our most honored guest: an 80-year-old double amputee, Purple Heart recipient, and his wife. We specifically and repeatedly requested an ADA room with a roll-in shower. Instead, when I arrived, I found out he was placed in a room designated for the hearing impaired—with no roll-in shower. After being told this would be corrected before he checked in, we later discovered that he had still been placed in a room without the necessary accessibility features. This forced an elderly war hero and his wife to struggle with basic care needs during their stay. That is not only unprofessional—it is shameful. Lack of Communication About Water Shut-Off When we arrived, we discovered—only by spotting a letter left on the check-in counter—that the hotel planned to SHUT OFF all water at the property from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM during our stay. At no point in the days leading up to the event, despite repeated communication with hotel staff, did anyone alert me to this critical issue. Had I known, I would have immediately moved our group elsewhere. The shut-off fell on the very day of our event, leaving many guests unable to prepare properly. I had to scramble to relocate several attendees at the last minute. Even outside the "planned" water shut-off, guests reported to me that they had issues with having hot water consistently in the days beforehand. After the water was restored after being shut off for an entire day, the whole hotel went without hot water for an extended period. This level of mismanagement and lack of transparency is inexcusable. Poor Room Conditions Beyond these failures, the rooms themselves were in unacceptable condition: -Couches with stains, holes, and so dirty we had to request sheets to cover them. -Worn, dirty ottomans and lampshades are visibly spattered and stained. -Walls marked up and generally shabby. -Air conditioning units that made entire rooms smell like urine when running. -Multiple guests shared similar feedback with me: the property feels worn out, neglected, and below acceptable standards. Final Thoughts For years, this hotel has been a reliable partner for our group, but it has deteriorated in both condition and service. The lack of consideration shown to our guests—many of whom are military heroes—was totally unacceptable. Guests deserve honesty, communication, and a safe, comfortable stay. Unfortunately, Home2Suites Highlands Ranch no longer offers any of these.

We reported the issue to the front desk, and although they repeatedly told us that the valves had been checked, the problem was never actually fixed. It felt more like we were being brushed off rather than the issue being taken seriously. Hard to imagine that a Hilton Honors property could fail to provide something as basic as a hot shower.

They gave us a second room and the blinds didn’t work so they gave us a third room and we went to take a shower and had to wait twenty minutes before we got hot water to shower with. The table had a loose leg and just about fell when I leaned on it. There was no body wash in the container on the wall so we had to use shampoo to wash with. Very disappointing stay. Will find another place to stay next time!!

When we finally checked in, we found that the bathroom’s pocket door wouldn’t stay closed. The front desk informed us the hotel was sold out, so they couldn’t move us. There were four of us in the room. I mentioned Hilton’s Home2 Suites promise “If you aren’t completely satisfied, let us make it right or that night’s on us” but was told they wouldn’t honor it because we booked through a third party. If that’s the case, why offer rooms through third-party sites at all? In the end, we had to improvise by wedging a sponge into the door frame every time someone needed to use the bathroom.

I pulled an extra blanket out of the cubby and it was even stained. Just go somewhere else. This hotel is gross!

- Jet44780827149 (4/5): Mostly terrible - I’ll share what I feel is good about this location and will follow up with what I feel is bad. I travel for work and take 13 week+ contracts. I’ve been at this location now for 8 weeks. First the rooms are spacious and give nice holding areas for food and clothes for long stays. What you would expect with Home2suites. The free internet is slow but serviceable. The room service individuals have all been nice. Front desk have been courteous and say welcome back every time you return, It’s a nice touch. The drinks and food section is well stocked. The location is impeccable. Access to restaurants and freeway could not be any better. Now for the bad, read this. It may sway your decision to stay here. Let’s talk about the amenities. The pool, it’s freezing. Don’t expect to swim unless you like very cold water. They have grills outside but no utensils to clean or grab your food, Bring your own. The room I’m staying in bathroom light went out. Asked the front desk to put a work order in to replace the bulbs 3 times. As of writing this, no bulbs have been replaced. It’s been 6 weeks since the light went out. The showers are cold, Luke warm at best. You will not enjoy your shower here. The fans in the bathrooms are dirty and gross, never cleaned. The AC unit is bent and rattles and makes tons of noise while it’s running. The paid for Internet that cost nearly $5.00 a day is a ripoff, speeds of 34 MPs download and 34 upload. They cap your devices to 3. When you try to add a 4th they try to make you pay another 5.00 a day for the premium. The TV’s are small for the rooms and outdated roughly 36”. They are not smart TV’s. Don’t expect to watch Netflix/ streaming services on the TV. Let’s end with the most important. The breakfast in the morning is disgusting. The sandwich they say they offer is gross. The waffle and cereal are usually your best bet. The oatmeal is runny or dry, never right. The milk has been spoiled multiple times, gross! The counters are ALWAYS messy and disgusting, Never cleaned. The tables are not serviced enough and are terrible to eat on. Usually cleaned at the end of the breakfast time of 9 Am.

- MrsSki13 (2/5): Filthy - We stayed here two years ago, and it was a great experience. The apartment style King Suite is perfect for the two of us and our golden retreiver. However, this time, the experience was a big disappointment. The place was filthy. The couch was so dirty and stained that I put towels over it so I could sit on it. Our dog is not allowed on the furniture. The carpet in the room and hallways were both heavily stained. The front desk staff were less than enthusiastic about working there. However, the maids and the maintenance man were very nice. We didn't have hot water for 4 out of the 6 nights we stayed. The 3rd and 4th floors both had no hot water. The poor maintenance man tried so hard to fix it, but could not. I will say that no staff spoke English, except the front desk. They had tiny little translators you would speak into and it would translate to Spanish. We thought that was a good idea. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this property, and we are writing the Hilton corporate headquarters as well.

We have our dog and it’s close to a dog park and our family. Unfortunately, this year it was so dirty, the front desk staff could have cared less about friendly customer service. We didn’t have a hot shower 4 of the 6 days we were there. Hot water was out on the 3rd and 4th floor. The carpet and couch were so stained and dirty I put towels over it, so I could sit on it. Breakfast was below par as well. Empty bagels, no sausage, empty coffee urns. Unfortunately we won’t be returning

- Tania (2/5): Feedback on recent stay at Home2 Suites – Highland - I recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Highlands Ranch and was deeply disappointed with several aspects: • Cleanliness: The room furniture was visibly dirty—so much so that we had to cover it with extra linens. The breakfast area was unkempt, exuding an unpleasant odor. Glasses were unclean and the milk provided was sour. Other guests and I also noticed that the utensils needed more rubbing to get it clean. • Housekeeping & Service: The fridge in our room didn’t work, the coffee wasn’t replenished, linens were not delivered as expected. Guests were required to retrieve bedding themselves, as housekeeping refused to deliver linen to the room • Amenities & Value: Despite the high nightly rate—closer to what one might expect at a Super 8—the basic amenities and overall cleanliness fell short. The breakfast service was sub-par, with limited food quality, dirty serving areas, and poor management of supplies like plates and utensils Overall, this hotel did not meet the standard expected from a Hilton property. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues promptly for future guests.

After we looked at the room we told them it was unacceptable and were leaving. The manager heard this and came over and they found a 2 queen bed. She offered snacks for our inconvenience but we declined. She said they would do something for our problem. Never heard back. The room we got was just “ ok”. The floor had some very dirty sticky spots and we put a towel down before we sat on the furniture. Will say the beds were comfortable and selection of pillows.

I waited nearly an hour in the lobby while the same staff working the front desk had to clean rooms themselves. Seriously? That’s not just poor staffing, it’s a safety and quality issue. When I finally got into my room, it was obvious the cleaning was rushed — nothing felt fresh or properly sanitized. A few days later, my colleague experienced the exact same problem with his room. So clearly, this isn’t a one-time issue. And let’s talk about the breakfast: it’s not just bad, it’s dangerous. The food was borderline inedible, with questionable items that could genuinely land you in the ER — which, funny enough, is conveniently right around the corner. You might need it after eating here. This place is run like a low-end roadside motel, not a Hilton property. Unacceptable and deeply disappointing. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Worse than expected - We stayed at this hotel in June 2025, and it was worse than expected. We had never stayed at a Home2 before and had different expectations—especially considering the price of nearly $200 per night. The restroom was dirty, with hair and a bit of dried vomit on the bathroom floor, and more hair was scattered throughout the hotel (including in the sconces in the corridors). The furniture was cracked and noticeably worn, the TV was very small, and the thermostat was broken. We also tried to buy some water from the front desk store, but were disappointed to find it cost over $10.
