The staff recommended the biscuits and gravy which was a big hit! More actually hot food options. Again a better alternative selection for those who are vegan. By the website, I expected a larger choice of hot food options and that wasn't the case. Overall it wasn't bad.
- Family vaca. 2016 (7/5): Graduation - Near Grambling State University. We were there fir our daughter's graduation from college. The pool needed to be vacuumed and cleaned of debris. The pool water quality was nice. We used the facilities pool net to clean the debris so our family could enjoy the amenities we paid for. This is unfortunate to pay and still work for services that should have been included in our fare.y

The only complaint I have is I was following Google Maps and it didn’t give me an exit # 86 to get off at so following the map it ended up taking me to dead end street away from the interstate. and I knew it was NOT RIGHT. Upon calling your hotel a very nice employee named Sterling gave me the exit # and I was able to find it that way. My suggestion to you is to update Google Maps.

- Joseph (9/5): - The location and it was a very clean and friendly place When we realized that the safe was inoperable, we spoke with the front desk and we were advised that they were not replacing the batteries until they got new ones to replace those safes. We had some items which needed to be locked away while we were away from the room, but because there was no safe we had to bring them with us and lock them up in the car.

Dirt on floor in front of coffee pot, hair in sink, old key cards still in there and no fresh rolls of toilet paper. Cost was $300.00 per night. Breakfast was cold and not appealing. Bananas were brown... Breakfast was all store bought, nothing fresh.

The breakfast space was clean and maintained. The bathroom in my room needed to be remodeled. The room was not as clean as I would have preferred.

My boyfriend tried to go get breakfast at 11 one of the workers turned him around and said that breakfast ended at 10 o’clock I didn’t like the smell or aroma of the room the bathroom shower was dirty however, Mr. Sterling came to clean the shower as well. Bought some spray that smelled good for the room.

I could hear the people above me walking around and it was hard to sleep. Luckily I was only there for one night. Hotels in Ruston are very hit or miss - will probably try to find another city close by next time.

It definitely needs some remodeling in the bathroom. The AC unit is very loud. My main complaint is the strong scent used for cleaning. I have terrible headaches because of it. The breakfast was very good and the attendant was so friendly.

She attended to all her guess with the sweetest polite manner. She even bake cookies if she knows you are looking for them. It’s always a pleasure to run in to Ms.Stacy I would only like to stay on her days, because I had other experience and it was not a pleasant welcoming. Other employees that just want to sit on their phone and not attend to your needs. They make an excuse because they dont want to do the job they are supposed to do because they are into what they were doing on their device. Did not feel welcome if Ms.Stacy is not present. The pool also was not clean.

Location is nice the issue is the service personnel. When they finally did my room few day before I leave they left me only hand Towel to dry myself after a shower… see picture.
- Stephen (1/5): NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL - We liked breakfast We were told u were a third party and were a scam...we didn't get our room we reserved or anything promised and reserved...we were put in a room...that had water damage and smelled of mildew...it was horrible...and were treated like booking.com did it to us...we absolutely paid 787.00 for three nights...not including our dog fees only to be put in a room where the shower literally leaked inside the bathroom floor itself which was almost an accident...I am very offended by the callous ways....and how they said your company was a scam!

The day we arrived they told us the wrong room number and the room was already occupied.. This happened to a couple of our families.. very unprofessional. We requested a late checkout for the day we were leaving and the front desk told us that's no problem as long as we are out by 1pm. Now, almost 1 month later we were charged for another night. It took 2 days calling to even talk to the manager and then the manager said we will not get our money back for the extra day charged, because the early checkout was not approved. Very rude and dishonest.

- Leslie (6/5): - The only reason this hotel is getting 3 stars is because of the friendly staff, otherwise it would be 2 stars. I knew upon arrival we were walking in to a dirty situation when the trash outside was overflowing and the parking lot was virtually empty. The lobby floors were dirty as well, but it has been raining earlier so I tried not to be quick to judge. However the elevator floors were dirty with trash, not wet shoes. The room situation was similar. Although I loved the fact that the room had 2 king sized bed, the room was musty smelling. The bathroom floor has visible dirt on the floor. The carpet was not better. It has not been vacuumed as there was chunks dirt on the floor as well. The carpet and the bed rails were stained. The towels were old and stiff, no flour left to those things. We actually decided to wear our shoes around the room which we never do, but there was nothing to hurt. The room stayed damp the entire night. When leaving in the morning, elevator & lobby floors were still dirty and trash still overflowing outside. Pretty disappointing all around. Especially for the price, this should be max of $89 per night given the condition.
