Guest Reviews
- Sherry (8/5): Not sure I'd stay here again - I understood going in this was an apartment style executive which I've enjoyed in the past. My initial response walking into the lobby at 1:00 am due to a late flight was "this is going to be good". There was a great lady at the front security desk to greet me and get me my keys. I went up to my room and my first impression was that the room had seen better days. The cabinetry was old, the baseboarding looked old and bed was terrible. There was a very tiny balcony that I looked out on and when I came in I couldn't get the door to close. I went to bed and 15 minutes in the door blew open freaking me out. The next morning getting ready I went to get the hairdryer and it was no where to be found, I went to hang up my clothes and there was 1 hanger in the whole place, I went to make coffee and no coffee, and there was a washer and dryer and no detergent. These are things that were listed, I've had at other Executive Apartments in DC or you would just expect. When I called the help number I got an unfriendly answering service that had a hard time taking my message. When I got a call back she took further information that she would have to pass along. When I got in that night the door wasn't fixed (it blew open again), all the supplies were dumped on the counter including the hair dryer and still no hangers. Part of the check out is to empty your gaarbage but they don't tell you where. I really wanted to like the place because of its location and gym but I'm neutral.
- Peter (8/5): Great location but you need to compromise. - This was part of an Apartment building with long term stay rooms. There was no concierge or front desk service. Also keep in mind that these building do not turn on air conditioning until May 1st. We had a couple of hot days with no A/C. The bed was cheap and bouncy. Wi-fi was very fast. Included kitchen, washer and dryer. Weichert staff responded quickly when we called with questions. Great location!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT BOOK Can't check-in. HOTELS.COM great tho - I went to the address given and into the building pictured with the sign "2400 M street Apartments." The person at the desk had no clue about Weichert Suites and sent me looking across the street. Didn't find anything there in buildings that looked like another photo featured. Called and got a corporation with no one available. Called Hotels.com and they were wonderful but couldn't reach the Weichert Suites either. It was the day after a big storm and freezing cold and I wandered around looking and calling. I do NOT recommend this place. Horrible. Horrible. I've been using Hotels.com for years and have been happy with every other place I've ever been to and am always happy with the service of Hotels.com, but I think this place should be removed. It seems so shady.
- John (10/5): Perfectly Fine - Check-in experience was odd. New property; not decadent, but did the job.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My 1 bedroom unit had to be changed. The people at Weichert corporate housing were very easy and helpful in booking me into an alternate unit.
