• Bryan (2/5): - Didn’t stay here because when I searched near by dog friendly hotels this one popped up in the search for Mount Vern IL so I booked it then the address popped up had my going the opposite direction. So did not stay and the owner called me Asking me if I was staying and I told him the confusion and he was like ok and hung up. Will dispute the charge with my cc company.
• Stirts (1/5): - Nothing I was overcharged 125 dollars, the walls in the rooms were dirty, and it smelled like dogfood outside.

• Christina (4/5): - Bed was not comfortable. Couldn't charge anything because the recepts were so old and phone charges would fall out. Had 1 bath towel for a family of 4 in the room. The pool is closed and has been. The nozzle in to shower was broke. Had to have some one come into the room at 630 in the morning to fix it and only had time for one us to shower that morning.

• Tina (6/5): - Dead bugs on the floor in the room. Toothpaste all over the sink. 90 degrees the day we checked in, air had not been on at all, took all day to get it to a comfortable temperature. Pool was closed. Description stated 2 Queen beds for what we reserved, beds were a very small full size. Lady at the front desk was super friendly. This hotel needs a major upgrade/cleaning….

• Darrell (2/5): - The room was dusty, including dust build up on the vents. The first thing we noticed was a dirty sock in the corner from a previous guest. The light bulbs were low wattage and various types so the room was always dim. The bulbs in the light in the bathroom were exposed and had no cover. The toilet seat had been painted and the paint was peeling there was more water coming out of the back of the shower head than the front. The ironing board had scourch marks all over it. The shower curtain was loose and hung down.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Do not waste your $$!!! - Not safe, our outside door was cracked, barely opened. The bathroom needs some serious work/repairs. The room was not clean, dust and hair balls all over the floor.
• Jackie (4/5): It was not worth the money that we spent but it was the only place - There was no front cover on the heater and no cover on the fan in the bathroom. There was no extra blanks and the blankets on the bed had lots of holes throughout.

It was so dirty and nasty we left. Finally found a place to stay around 3am. The owners of the days in said he will talk to his housekeeper. No refund nothing

• Castagno (2/5): Horrible do not recommend to anyone to stay here - Nothing about this hotel is to be liked unless you are looking to have a very unpleasant stayi or having a one night stands. The staff needs to work on their customer service etiquette and respect. Needs tremendous improvement in care of rooms Double charged for a room also charged a deposit which was not listed as part the initial charge. The rooms are poorly maintained very grimmy, asked for none smoking still got placed in a smokers room, staff was very rude and hung up on me when discussing why I was charged twice for the room,

• Matthew (7/5): Unlucky start but a good finish. - Staff is perfect. Breakfast and breakfast staff perfect. Room lighting was not overbearing and I appreciate that. Problem resolution was perfect. Urine covered bathroom facility. It was a handicap room so that is very understood that this can happen. Nonetheless it's pretty bad. Changing rooms after getting undressed, unpacked and ready to shower is always a bummer. Otherwise this location was excellent.

The room its self was ok but bathroom area did not look that clean. This whole property is just old. I don't think it's worth the price I paid for this room.

No bulbs in the lights, tv would not even come on, no doors separating the bathroom from the bed. Paint falling off the balcony above. This motel left too much to be desired so we promptly went across the street to Super 8
• Atkinson (10/5): Comfortable, cozy, quiet night stay in a small town. - The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting family that lives in the small town, and right off the highway. The rate was affordable, especially considering that there are not a ton of hotels in the area. This is an older hotel but maintained very well. It is close to a ton of restaurants and I very much so enjoyed my stay.

• Andres (6/5): Last choice - I was in town for a funeral, so I needed something cheap and local. I got what I paid for. Room was cheap, but it was very dated. Everything in the room was mismatched, it was pretty gross, especially having to share the room with a gang of flies. It did have a microwave, a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a pool. However, the water for INSIDE the pool was not included. In the middle of June.

• Colette (10/5): Business trip - The manager and his family were lovely, helpful people. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. Fridge and microwave supplied. Close to shops (Walmart, Dollar Tree etc.) and restaurants. Easy access to main factories in Monett if you are here for business

• Richard (2/5): Charge for room we never stayed in - We were charged for room that we never stayed in we were charged for a hotel room that we never stayed in at all. We were told we were going to be refunded because of the confusion and the misunderstandings of booking online. But we will never were we ended up sleeping in the car. So we never stayed but we got charged for a room.

It was definitely just a contentintal breakfast.We had to ask for milk for the cereal and there wasn't hot water for tea or oatmeal...although tea and oatmeal were available. The motel was very old and could use some updates.

Would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area. - The front desk people- Harry and the lady were very friendly and accommodating. The place is kept clean but a little outdated. It’s not really that important, but very at least it’s kept clean.

They refused to refund us for the mess up. When they gave us a room, we went to open it and PEOPLE WERE IN THERE!! Then the room smelled. The breakfast was not good. Then we go back to our room in the morning and we cant get in. Horrible experience

The restroom should the most important item. The vent fan/light did not have a cover and shower rod was falling off the wall.

The pool was always refreshing after a 5 hour drive. It was really disappointing. Hopefully they will have it up and running by next year are we will have to stay somewhere else. The filth in the room made it impossible to spend another night.( We booked and prepaid for 2 days). We went to a different hotel. Upon entering our room: nail clippings were on the floor(next to the bed). Filth and grim on all the surfaces. The drywall was peeled away in places. Drips of who knows what on the walls. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! Horrible! Horrible!
