I got sick during my stay here by eating some food somewhere else, and they even helped me find a doctor to come over with an IV drip. The staff was so lovely and I’ll always remember how kind they were.

В номерах чисто, обслуживающий персонал - прекрасные люди! Собственник и руководитель вникает во все вопросы и пожелания и сопровождает от заселения до отъезда в аэропорт🙏 завтраки проходят в соседнем заведении - все вкусно и очень достойно! Идеальный вариант для размещения в этом районе🔥

- vovchik optimist (5/5): Подумайте дважды! ;) - Исключительно приветливый и услужливый персонал! Боюсь обидеть людей негативными отзывами ниже, ведь они максимально стараются! Расположение - просто блеск: в середине улицы Истикляль, в переулке, то есть закрыты от шумов пешеходной торговой улицы. Размер номера ~25м2! К отелю нельзя подъехать! Карты рисуют авто-маршрут, но таксист высадил на параллельной улице, как только увидел левый поворот в тупиковый переулок, и нам пришлось тащить чемоданы пешком ещё метров 300 по брусчатке сначала под горку, а затем в крутую горку! Лучше заранее проверьте маршрут и проезжайте дальше вперёд до пересечения с Истикляль и выходите у полицейского участка! И спокойно спуститесь 4 минуты по ровной дороге... Первое впечатление от отеля напрочь портится уже на входе: хочется развернуться и уйти: чёрная грохочущая дверь с решёткой, холла как такового нет - узкий коридорчик, и сразу узкая же вонючая тёмная винтовая лестница наверх... Отель заметно старый и, хотя его стараются поддерживать в удовлетворительном состоянии, буквально всё уже "на 3 с минусом" и требует замены: ламинатный пол, каркасы кроватей, матрацы, одеяла, постельное бельё, полотенца; слив раковины (без гидрозатвора) очень шумит от соседей, вентиляция затягивает откуда-то сигаретный дым в комнату... Из-за окна во двор (в одно стекло) грохочут кондиционеры и расположенная по соседству студия звукойзаписи (через день с часу ночи до трёх-четырёх утра)... Завтрак - не в отеле, а через 2 улицы, не шведский стол, а комби, то есть всегда одно и то же...

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Taksim, with everything within walking distance. The cleanliness was excellent, and I was very impressed by how well everything was maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Muammer, the hotel owner, who was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

- Mónika (4/5): - Közel és könnyen megközelíthető volt minden. A személyzet segítőkész volt nagyon. Our stay had several issues from the beginning. Despite requesting three proper beds for three adults, the first room only had a foldable metal extra bed, which was not comfortable. We were then moved to another room, where unfortunately a serious water issue occurred during the night, and the room was flooded, making it unusable. In a third room, we experienced very loud noise from a nearby disco on Friday night, which made it difficult to rest. It would have been fair if the hotel had waived the cost of at least one night given these circumstances. Initially, the manager’s attitude was not appropriate, and we felt that responsibility was being shifted onto us instead of resolving the situation properly. Additionally, the rooms are in need of serious renovation. That being said, after things calmed down, the manager did make an effort to help and improve the situation.

- Jonathan (10/5): - Extremely friendly, kind, helpful staff 🫶🏻 A big thank you to the Russian woman who cleans the rooms and Front Desk man Metehan 🙏 Beautiful room, great location. The room smells of cigarette smoke, especially if you turn the air unit on. They allow guests to smoke cigarettes there and that is a bad thing!!! it ruins it for those that do not smoke cigarettes. You Must require a $100 deposit that is only received back by the guest after the room has been inspected, and does not smell like cigarette smoke after the guest leaves. That is the ONLY solution to this problem. Also there is almost no sound insulation from the street noise, from people partying below at the restaurants, or getting in and out of the taxis… $45 is way too much to pay on a Thursday for all of this. Even the bed reeked of cigarette smoke :(

- Zozan (10/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich freundliche und respektvolle Personal. Egal zu welcher Uhrzeit, sogar um Mitternacht wurde uns bei einem Problem sofort geholfen, und das innerhalb von nur zehn Minuten. So einen Service erlebt man wirklich selten. Der Standort des Hotels ist ideal für alle, die zum ersten Mal in Istanbul sind, da man viele Orte gut erreichen kann. Außerdem fanden wir es super, dass man die Mitarbeiter rund um die Uhr (24/7) per WhatsApp kontaktieren kann, das gibt einem ein sehr gutes Gefühl von Sicherheit und Service. Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel besonders jüngeren Reisenden. Ideal für paar Tage!
- Alia (6/5): Staff were no where to be seen, we had to chase them and find them. - It was close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. The place was generally clean. When we first arrived there was no-one there to check us in, we were waiting for ages, until I finally had to got to a neighbouring hotel. The worker was at a nearby spot socialising. Then we had communication issues because the worker didn’t speak English. The following day we were told we would be upgraded for a price of 20 euros but the gentleman who told us that was not to be seen again. On the last night we were disturbed at 2am with someone banging on a door above our room because apparently the people staying had locked their card in the room (we had to get up 3 hours later to catch a flight) my baby was disturbed who was fast asleep. Unfortunately, as we were leaving there was no one at the reception to check us out and we didn’t get a real apology at all about the night before.

- Alessia (9/5): - La camera è spaziosa e ben pulita e riordinata giornalmente, letti comodissimi. La posizione è ottima, tuttavia raggiungibile dall'auto solo fino a un certo punto. Lo staff è molto gradevole, soprattutto la signora, hanno risolto con facilità alcune richieste. Eccezionale il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un po' viva la notte ma da prevedere vista la zona. Nel mio caso non è stato un problema ma le scale sono parecchie e strette. Alcune migliorie a cui provvedere come la colazione dal menù "obbligato". Inaccettabile il wifi in camera spesso debole o persino assente.

- Sumeet (1/5): Avoid This Hotel – Especially if Traveling with Family - Nothing!!! This hotel was an absolute nightmare and completely unsuitable for families. I was traveling with my family, including two children and my wife who had a dislocated knee. While booking, I missed to notice that the hotel has no lift. The hotel only has steep, curved stairs, which made it extremely difficult and unsafe for my wife to access the room. I informed the hotel immediately at check-in and showed proof of her medical condition, but they simply stated that the booking was non-refundable. The room was old and poorly maintained, and the open bathroom—with only a curtain and one side fully exposed—was completely unacceptable. My children could not use the bathroom or shower with any privacy. We were forced to vacate early and requested a refund for the unused nights. Despite contacting Booking.com the same night and multiple times afterward, there was no response or support whatsoever. The hotel also refused any refund despite medical evidence. One of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced and easily my worst experience with Booking.com. Strongly not recommended, especially for families or guests with mobility issues.

Accueillis par Metehan un jeune homme serviable, intuitif et réactif que je remerci fortement 🥰 L'hôtel est super bien situé, au pieds de l'avenue Istkal près des grandes boutiques(Zara, Mango, Gratis...), de fast-foods et de restaurants plus cosy dans des petites ruelles, parfait pour se promener jusqu'à la tourde Galata.On peut croiser des petits artisans plein de charme. Je recommande cet hôtel plein de charme peut convenir pour les couples entre copines...j'ai aime l'ambiance l'art déco de la chambre propriété cela va de soi! Service impeccable multiples serviettes, ptit échantillons, dosette de café, thé petit coin canape, une porte fenêtre qui s'ouvre sur un escalier de secours typiquement New Yorkais. j'adore...cerise sur le gâteau un rooftop vue sur la mer ( le Bosphore d'Istanbul). grâce à cette localisation, il peut que convenir à énormément de monde : on peut faire les boutiques, manger, balades romantique et s'amuser jusqu'à l'aube bars et boîte de nuit. C'est un lieu pour tous et tout faire! Tous!!

Vi bodde som familj 2 vuxna 3 barn, 1 år 9 år samt 15 år och funkar utmärkt även om det är väldigt högljudd av barer osv 2 rum så barnen hade sitt rum där det inte var ljud och vi hade eget som vuxna alla hade egna toaletter samt dusch ett litet kök samt riktigt kylskåp man kan fylla med saker själv också. Rekommenderar för familjer samt singla. Kommer absolut återkomma dit Kanske lite seg wifi

- PA (9/5): Lovely hotel! - Lovely hotel! We stayed as family of 4 with a grandmother, and it was enough space. Location is perfect: the main street just around the corner, in the middle of modern side of the city, where crowd is more pleasant and prices are lower. I love the huge balcony we had, though would be nice to have stronger internet connection there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, what is not so common in Istanbul. Very nice breakfast was included in a place nearby, however, service there wasn't the best, but...again...it seems to be Istanbul thing:) Some areas of the room require retouch. And the lovely balcony could be brought to its best! it has a lot of potential:)

В отеле есть русскоговорящая девушка Джахана, очень добрая и приятная. Если говорите только на русском, она вам обязательно поможет. Это очень удобно и комфортно. Да, в целом всё хорошо. Соотношение цены и качества отличные.

- Elizaveta (6/5): Если бы не запахи и неработающий кондиционер, то было бы неплохо. - Находиться рядом с улицей Истикляль где много магазинов и баров. Большая кровать. Первый день и ночь пахло сигаретами. Толи от предыдущих жильцов запах, толи в вентиляцию попадали запахи. В туалете пахло канализацией и сыростью (закрывали дверь, иначе запах распространялся по номеру). Ремонт убитый. Кондиционер не работала! Просто гудел как трактор. Если открываешь окно, то гудит установка от соседнего ресторана.

- Liliia (8/5): All was good, we liked it so much! - The rooms are clean, comfortable, spatious. The stairs are manageable even for the old people – I was travelling with my mom in her 60s, and for her it was okay even though sometimes she has problems with climbing the Istanbul stairs. The staff is very kind and helpful. It is a small family hotel, that gives a very cozy vibe. The location is also perfect, just 30 sec away from the main street. Maybe tiny bit of renovation is required – here and there were the old pieces, or the furniture that wore off. The door locks did not look particularly safe too.

Вокруг много магазинов и кафе с турецкой и европейской едой. И при этом достаточно тихо. Единственная особенность отеля - отсутствие лифта, но это и полезно….
- Zenebe (9/5): - When I booked the hotel there was a misunderstanding I booked Dulex double room but they told me they don’t have that room available but the owner is such a nice guy and he switched us to a queen bed and a sofa bed the next day. Overall even though I was not satisfied at first the owner make it up to us. The room they show you on booking.com might not be what you’re getting so double check before you pay.

- R. (10/5): - Next to Istiklal Street, this boutique hotel is modern, clean and the staff was really friendly. The showers are open concept (you have an outside curtain to cover it). While this should not be a problem itself, just keep this in mind. The breakfast is in a near restaurant and it is not the best one (we went somewhere else the last day).
- Umer (4/5): Great location, great view, terrible service, terrible help. - The property was situated in a great spot just off the main strip in Teksim. I was in the 7th room on the terrace and the views were also great. It would have a been an amazing stay but the water was not working for over 24 hours. It was completely unacceptable and there was 0 help from the team to provide me with any sanitary equipment or other partner hotels if any to go shower. I was spoken to quite rudely by the team when i asked for updates on the water and was told that it wasn’t their fault and i was to wait just as they are.

- Brigitte (9/5): Location Hallelujah - The Location is awesome, right in the centre of lively shops, bars and cultural event venues. It is also next to the best catholic church in town, run by franciscan monks, which has two services a day even on weekdays. (8am & 7pm) Yay! Staff was very friendly and the owner gave me his phone number. Any problem was solved within minutes. Breakfast was nice. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Narrow staircase, no lift. Staff will carry your luggage, but you still got to carry yourself 😅 I stayed for two seperate nights. First time (room 6) the room was spotless, but bed was too soft. Second time (room 4), the bed was comfortable, but it could've been cleaned better. The windows (at least on even-numbered rooms) are out into an alleyway. That's nice for privacy, but there's no view and no sun. it helps with keeping the temperature lower, though, and you probably don't want to spend much daytime in the room anyway, with a city busting with life at your fingertips.

- Penelope (1/5): I spent over $1000 on rooms for myself two rooms to accommodate 4 people. My husband and I had intended to join them the - Unfortunately the only thing I liked were the misleading photos and inexplicably high reviews. The photos made it look like there would be space for my three single sisters-en-laws in more than one room- not all inches apart. The space was said to include a kitchenette and to provide breakfast. The promised breakfast was at another dismal spaced and included no coffee and a limit of 2 small teas. The selection and portions were meager at best. I discovered that just including “must have elevator” in search filter means nothing, because these rooms were only accessible by a narrow spiral staircase. The manager will help with luggage - if you can find him. He is often absent from the tiny alcove that serves as a lobby The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Everything about the place was just old and shabby.

And some not nice animals lives there! - We choosed because of location but street was dirty and smelly - and money were stolen during the breakfast! Do not choose this Hotel! Your money eill dissapear during the breakfast time. When I noticed that first 50 EUR are gone - thought maybe it was my fault. But when the next 50 dissapeared during the breakfast time - everything was clear!!! Them my colleague calculated her money - 50 EUR were missing too!!! Do not stay there!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we read that it is not only our case - it is strategy in some hotels in Turkey. I am Erasmus+ coordinator and work with the students, teachers all arround the Europe but such thing happened first time. First time in my life I had such situation in Turkey. And there is not even 1% doublt - every day during the breakfast they were stealing - they saw that I am going for brakfast to the caffee wothout wallet - just in pulower!

The staff were fantastic, the young guy at reception is so helpful and kind. He really went out of his way to assist myself and my family. If you’re staying on a high floor be prepared to walk those stairs.
- Boudaher (2/5): Very poor - Nothing 😂 Doesn’t look the same as in the pictures it’s too small, low ceiling and it smells moister/humidity. For the same price we could’ve booked a much better option. But the pictures cheated us. We saw something more luxurious more tidy and clean. And the stairs that’s another awful story, it was a punishment every time we want to go to our room.
