- Tiam Chai (4/5): - Breakfast restaurant staff (Joe) was visibly frustrated at work, scolded her staff and threw food item (pack of frozen stuff) on the table in presence of customers. Yogurt drinks were expired as well (we checked and were fortunate to avoid drinking).

- YOUNGGUL (10/5): 청두 도심지 최고 호텔 - 시설 화려하고 청결합니다. 부부, 연인끼리 가면 좋을 듯. 숙박비도 중국 치곤 비싸지만 한국인 기준에서 아주 부담되지는 않는 가격. Ifs센터와 가까워서 공항 오가기도 편리하고 근처에 식당도 많아 편리합니다.

I do not speak in Chinese but my companion did which was really really important because even at this great great five star hotel not everyone is necessarily trained for International travelers by speaking english. However everyone did their best, fantastic job to make sure our stay was wonderful and I would happily stay in this fantastic five-star hotel again especially considering the price in comparison to hotels in California.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Hyatt solves avoidable issue caused by Hotels.com - I booked club room for two persons with two twin beds and with breakfast included for 2 persons. Apparently Hotels.com sent Grand Hyatt confirmation for only one breakfast included. I showed the hotel staff the receipt from Hotels.com which said “breakfast included” but without the exact wording from the original room description. I find this to be a significant issue on Hotels.com - ie, the receipts which are issued do not show the same level of detail of what you are buying on the website. In the end, the Hyatt staff agreed to provide two breakfasts but not after much discussion. This hassle could be avoided if hotels.com issued more detailed receipts of what its customers are paying for.

- Verified traveler (6/5): 이정도면 좋지만. 주변에 더 싸고 좋은 호텔이 있네요 - 위치는 좋습니다. 하지만 너무 중심가이다보니 로컬 음식을 먹으려면 좀 멀어요. 호텔 입구는 1층인데 로비는 15층입니다. 객실을 가려면 15층에서 내려서 엘리베이터를 갈아타야합니다. 불편합니다. 객실은 스위트룸이었고. 창문이 넓게있어서 뷰가 매우좋았습니다. 하지만 티비에는 한국채널이 하나도 없었고, 와이파이 속도는 빨랐지만 네이버와 다음이 막혀있었으며, 수압이 매우 약했습니다. 스위트룸이라 라운지에서 조식을 먹었는데 부실합니다. 비위가 좋은편인데 오믈렛은 이상한 냄새가 나서 안먹었어요.

- Anthony (10/5): Superb hotel, worthy of a Grand Hyatt! - Superb hotel all around. Great location. Next to several pedestrian shopping streets. Close to subway stop. Super friendly staff. Wonderful buffet for breakfast. For guests with Executive Lounge access, the evening cocktail can be a great dinner substitute, making it a great value. Will highly recommend!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent location - Beautiful hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Had a big window overlooking the main shopping area of Chengdu. The design of the room is very nice, I especially enjoyed the blinds that could be operated from bed, letting the morning lights in. As well as the minimalist Asian decor. Staff is excellent, and the food is tasty. Location is excellent, very close to public transport and smack in the middle of the main shopping streets.

Highly recommended.

- Vic (10/5): Great service and good hotel location - I am a frequent business traveler and take vacation trips as often as possible. I have been to exotic locations with private pool and villa type rooms and rarely praise about a hotel. I booked Grand Hyatt Chengdu mainly for the location and convenience but surprisingly this hotel exceeded my expectation. Hotel staff was well trained and friendly. For a downtown hotel the room was a good size. The bath room has a big shower and a nice bath tub. Very relaxing every morning and before sleep for a nice dip in the tub. Breakfast was full of selection and will guarantee mess up your diet. Fitness room has state of the art equipment. Overall I was very pleased and if have another biz trip will definitely come back to this hotel.

- Lila Wai Mei (10/5): A relaxing stay in Danang - We have a pleasant stay. Room is spacious with nice buffet breakfast. Hotel staff are helpful and polite. Hotel is in great location, central to most tourist spot.

While we did not want to leave the hotel, the surrounding area and location was also a great base for Chengdu. Would thoroughly recommend and return when possible.

- SDJA (10/5): One of the Highlights in Chengdu - Other than the pandas and the Sichuan food, the Grand Hyatt was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Chengdu. First of all, the hotel just opened in early 2016. Everything feels clean and almost new. More importantly, the service was so good, it had us scratching our heads. The staff were full of smiles, friendly, responsive and helpful. They didn't always have the best or most accurate advice so I would double check things, but they always tried hard. We got a Grand Suite with two twin beds. Note that these were twin beds and not the two bigger full beds you sometimes find at other hotels. Room was huge and comfortable. Everything still felt new and worked perfectly. Toilet did not work well but minor detail. We only ate the the breakfast buffet, but the noodles were excellent. They had a Dan Dan Noodle that was better than most of the local restaurants we tried. Great for business or family. Highly recommended. There wasn't a single thing we were unappy about with our stay at the Grand Hyatt in Chengdu.
