The personal service and support to me by Lee, the Food and Beverages Manager, was exceptional, particularly in stressful situations, such as when I lost my Australian passport. I had no complaints.

Overall, they provide the best - This place has the best breakfast, a good room, and a good gym. Near mall and restaurant, preapre your alipay and connect to your debit/credit card before visits.

- Martin (9/5): Great choice for visiting Disneyland Shanghai in comfort - The staff, as always in China, was very helpful, polite and friendly. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and while odd thing to mention, the lighting system made an impression on me. Finally, I would highlight the gym. The location - while this is not really something the hotel can improve, the future guests should be aware that the nearest metro station is 10m of walking and even then it takes quite some time to get to the city center. While I enjoyed the pool myself, it is quite small and shallow and it can get crowded at times - it seems like it's open for the public as well.

- Tyrell (9/5): Great second stay. - Stayed here once before. This time was even better with a bigger room with breakfast included. Staff were friendly and very caring. Great value and close to where I needed to go. Nothing
- Mobarhan (2/5): rud, irresponsible and they illigaly did not pay back the deposite money - The staff at the Radisson Blu Pudong Shanghai are extremely irresponsible and rude. Even when we tried to communicate using Google Translate, they made no effort to understand or respond politely, and their behavior was blatantly disrespectful. The reception area was very messy, and the staff were dressed in wrinkled, untidy suits, which clearly reflected a complete lack of management at this hotel — utterly unprofessional for a brand of this reputation. The only positive aspect of our stay was the kind and dedicated housekeeping staff who did their job properly. Additionally, they took a 500 Yuan deposit from us, and after having lunch, they were supposed to refund the remaining 250 Yuan to our credit card, but they never did. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am currently consulting my lawyers to take the necessary legal action against the management for this unacceptable behavior and poor service.

- Nellie (7/5): Inconvenient location and dated rooms - We stayed here for a week as my daughter was going to a summer camp nearby. It was pretty comfortable though the rooms aren’t very clean and need some updates. There was often cigarette smell in the hallway. We liked the breakfast spread. There was major construction along the main road outside the hotel. It was extremely inconvenient walking anywhere from here. The location almost at the end of the metro lime was annoying. It took 1 hour to take the metro to the center and 30-45 minutes by Didi. The hotel wifi was surprisingly slow and none of our VPN worked at first so we couldn’t work for the first few days. The staff werent of help, they didn’t even know what was VPN n just kept repeating that foreign websites are blocked instead of helping us find a solution.

There is staffs who can speak english. The road is under constructions therefore it took more effort to go to the nearest metro station. Nevertheless, taking a taxi to the metro station is a good alternative.
- bakkat2024 (4/5): In a very bad shape, no maintenance for years. Not a 5 star experience. - This hotel is in a really bad shape. Everything in the room is scratched, the wallpaper on the walls has holes, LED light strips are hanging out of the closets. There are so many spots and stains in the carpet. Looks like they completely gave up maintenance some years ago. The cleaning team does a ok job, but they cant win against the mold in the shower. Also, the washing sink is IN THE ROOM, not behind the bathroom door. That is super annoying, because all the towels are our of reach and if you are in this hotel with your partner, its impossible to continue sleeping while the other person gets up and ready. The English skills of the reception is very limited to the few absolutely required words for check in and check out. Overall far away from a five star experience. It is still full with Chinese business guests, probably because you can get a room for less than 600RMB on certain apps and company contracts, which is obviously cheap. But if you are paying the normal price on their website, you will be very disappointed if you expect a 5 star hotel.

Guest room was NOT WELL MAINTAINED AND MONITORED below standard , I noticed the wall paper got defect stained near window, window curtains not functioning well,WAREDRO CLOSAGE WITH FALLEN APART LED LIGHT BELT a ran down OVERRATED LACK of SUPERVISION property especially room. BATHTUB MARBLE DEFECTS TOO. F&B service are good from Chinese Restaurant via IRD around 1.30pm , telephone answeing are professional food quality good delivered with recommendations from Chinese restaurant 👍👍👍👍👍. Instead of Radissons Blu Pudong 高级房大床含单paid via wechat for CNY 890 per night , I can have a better quality experience from IHG Group Indigo Pudong. (previous experience ) I hope this Hotel management can ready seriously looking into the Room division for FO guest experience and House Keeping monitoring matter to render a better guest in house experience for Radissons Blu Pudong. Sad to say is another Marriott property THIS MY FIRST AND LAST HOTEL EXPERIENCE FOR RADISSONS BLU PUDONG 👎👎👎👎👎

- Xiaojie (9/5): Great place for a short stay. - The property offers couple things that delighted my daughter and us. The first is the indoor swimming pool and it opens till 9:30pm. The second is at the lobby bar they offer fishing which means we get to drink while she gets to play. Also there are plenty of food vendors options right around the hotel due to 3 nearby college campuses. It was full of young energies when we took a walk during our one night stay. The location is not in the center but closer to PVG than to Hongqiao airport.

- Stay24117487580 (2/5): It's like being cooked alive in a glass oven - Although this is a five star hotel, it's not a nice place to stay. The problem is that the rooms get incredibly hot, and the openable part of the window is so tiny that you just can't get any amount of cool air from outside. In any normal five star hotel you would simply turn on the air conditioning. There is a controller on the wall of the room, and a ventilation duct that looks like it controls the air conditioning. But in fact it doesn't. The air conditioning is managed centrally, and according to staff at reception, the air conditioning is simply switched off in Autumn when the weather starts to get cooler. There does not seem to be any way to get cool air into the building. Any small bit of sun shining through the window, or any electrical items such as the fridge can drive the temperature from unpleasantly hot to absolutely unbearable. It is extremely difficult to sleep in this intense heat, and I got an average of less than two hours' sleep per night. I spoke to the staff at reception about this, and they sent an engineer to investigate the room. But of course the engineer already knows the problem. The rooms cannot be cooled. But with a hotel policy of managing the air conditioning centrally, and disabling it in Autumn, there is absolutely nothing that he or the other staff can do. I know that other guests also complained about the extreme heat in their hotel rooms, but for the staff I guess it was just another day of guest complaints that they are powerless to fix.
- 463catherineh (10/5): Excellent hotel in Pudong area of Shanghai - close to Metro - I stayed here for a school athletics trip with my 2 teenage kids. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet is amazing and worth paying extra for if it is not included in your room rate. The shower was wonderful, love the rain showerhead and great water pressure. The only negative for me was the in-room hair dryers. I was very happy that the hotel provided a hair dryer (pretty standard, but I appreciate it) however, the hair dryer provided was one step above useless. It had a US plug that barely stayed plugged into the provided electrical socket so it constantly cut off because it wasn't securely plugged in. It also had the button that you have to constantly hold down in order for the dryer to work - always annoying at best, but when it is also cutting on and off depending on the plug situation it was VERY FRUSTRATING. Impossible to actually style your hair with this dryer and it just left our hair frizzy and horrible. I understand that very few hotels actually provide decent hair dryers but this was a truly miserable experience each day trying to dry my hair. So....if you don't require a good, working hair dryer, this is the hotel for you. Everything else was just wonderful with our stay. I appreciated the staff taking such great care of our students and coaches. Also, we appreciated the Carrefour market and little mall with food options next to the hotel. Easy access to the metro at the mall. Good location for getting around Shanghai.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - First room assigned was on 3rd floor. Very heavy smell of smoke as soon as I stepped from the elevator (lift). I was upgraded to 15th floor. Room was okay, but only twin beds available. Both these items lead me to rate overall stay as average.
- CaptRogerC (2/5): Roger - Terrible place, too many faults to list. Not recommended at all, way below standard! No air-conditioning in lobby, bar, or restaurants (broken). Dirty tabletops in the room. Check in nearly 30 minutes ( credit card machine broken). Stained comforter on bed. No local restaurants or bars, so you are "trapped". Only one small bar of soap in the room, you have to call down for anything else. They provide a mini bar price list, but the mini bar is empty. Finally, the room was not pre-conditioned for arrival as everything was switched off, and of course it was very hot! I will be telling my company never to put me here again!

- GutoBrazil (10/5): Air conditioning does not work - I stayed at Radisson Blu Junqiao for 26 nights in March/April, 2018 and more 26 nights in June/July, 2018. The hotel is Excellent. Big and clean rooms, friendly staff (Mike and Carol are amazing!), good location near subway station, market, etc. Two very good restaurants, astonishing breakfast, etc. But... air conditiong is a problem: March/Abril it did not work; June/July it worked in a non good temperature. The guest sets it 22degrees but it sets itself 26 degrees. Shanghai is very hot on Summer and A/C must works well. It happened with me and with more 15 co-workers room. I would stay there again!

- joecool1973 (8/5): Hotel Room fab but service was average - We stayed here on 16th April 2019 for a night, the room l was given was lovely had a living quarter, bedroom, bathroom and shower, two toilets. The bed was comfy and huge. The room was spacious, clean and contemporary. They had 2 restaurants we chosen to eat at Shanghai Gardens, you could order food from the other restaurant menu and they will bring it to you. However, as they had a big conference going on, the food choice on the menu was very limited as every time we tried to order something we were told it is not available. This was unacceptable to be honest, it really put a negative to our experience at the hotel. The room was 5 star rating but the service was 2 and a half stars.
- ebueser (8/5): Great facilities and neighborhood - lots of small flaws here and there - Located across from People’s Square in The Nanjing district of Shanghai, this hotel is a great option for travelers looking for centrally located, business and family-friendly accommodations. 1. The breakfast buffet is massive, guests can find countless options across a variety of different cuisines and tastes. 2. Pool and hot tub are enormous. Highly recommend for large groups of friends looking for a way to unwind from the day. 3. Steam and sauna facilities are great. Showers and plunge pools can also be found in each locker room. 4. Lots of cute shops located on the ground and mezzanine level. Snacks and baked goods to purchase are also available. 5. Gym facilities are large and accommodating for travelers who love to workout during their vacation. There were a few flaws here and there, but none that were deal breakers for me. 1. Pool staff almost didn’t let me go into the pool because they didn’t think my swim shorts were appropriate - the shorts were colorful and had a patterned design on them. It wasn’t until I told the staff to feel the material that they gave the “OK” to swim in the pool. 2. When you enter the lobby the concierge was surrounded by a quarantined area of luggages - not the prettiest sight for new guests. The hotel seems to host a lot of big group parties (mine included), so be aware of that when you go. 3. Steam room was under repair during my entire stay so unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy it.
- marisap1977 (10/5): Central & Cultural All at once! - I stayed at this hotel in March 2019 and the location was perfectly central and convenient, just opposite People's Park. I very much enjoyed my room upgrade to a Junior Suite which had all of the amenities and conveniences that I would be looking for both as a business or leisure traveler. Front Desk staff were engaging and spoke good, clear English. Staff at the Club Lounge were very professional and warm. The Head Chef in Black was seen everywhere in every outlet I visited and was very engaging with guests. Receptionist staff in the Breakfast restaurant could use some additional training in guest engagement but the food choice was impressive and layout very nice. Never felt too crowded even though there were a lot of guests there. The best part was walking right outside of the hotel and being able to witness a very cultural experience with about 50 traditionally garbed folks of the Uighur culture dancing and showcasing their music. So colourful and fantastic - right on the hotel's doorstep! Thank you and I'll be back!

- Belfast61Boy (8/5): RIP off taxi purporting to be Raddison Blu staff - The team and I arrived at the hotel after a long flight the hotel well situated and in the middle of everything The rooms were great and the staff nice and helpful In particular Daniel the guy in the restaurant was a star he really went the extra mile as we came back to the restaurant late due to the fact outside of the hotel no where accepted cards they wanted cash which is difficult as they warn you of forgeries Daniel looked after us all even though the restaurant was about to shut and to top it all he was there at 6 am when I went for breakfast he explained a member of staff had family problems and he had to cover a great example of the raddison work ethic A word of warning to all at the airport we got a cab from a guy wearing a raddison blue badge and had a board stating he covered all the major hotels but when we got to the mini bus he told us it would be 200 and then said about the return journey and I entered my pin I’m sure the total was in Chinese he quickly handed me the receipt and the driver drove off I examined the bill he had charged us 2400 I tried to stop the transaction but was told that once I had entered the pin that was it Please beware this guy appears legit It should cost 200 or 700 if you have a high end car but no more one way The hotel couldn’t help and we had been properly mugged off Here endth the lesson as Sean Connery would say

Staff were very friendly, the location is great, breakfast very good and the quality of other amenities (room, pool, gym, sky high restaurant) meant that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

- 209delenev (8/5): Very nice hotel in Pudong - Very nice hotel, friendly staff and great restaurant Shanghai Garden. Not in Centre of Pudong but in nice area Jinqiao. Near shopping hub Powerlong Plaza. Approx 30 minutes to international airport. Rooms are very nice and quiet.

- Paul Spencer (8/5): If you need to stay in the area, this is the place - This hotel is very comfortable, but the biggest attraction is being close to a Shanghai Huawei research facility - based on my conversations with co-workers, there are only two reasonable hotels in the area, and we ALL stay at this one. The area around the hotel is limited - not many choices for restaurants or shopping. The hotel is near at least one subway station (Gutang Road), but that's true of pretty much any hotel I've stayed at in China, so not much of a draw. I did have problems communicating with a receptionist at check-in, but I'm willing to believe I wasn't speaking slowly or clearly enough. I thought my entry card wasn't working (the lock indicator light barely turned green, and I was pulling on the floor handle but the door pushed to open!)

Personalet venlig, forsøgt at være forstående dog uden at forstå hvad man forsøgte at forklare. Men helt klart et sted jeg kommer igen hvis jeg kommer på disse kanter.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfy and clean, but service is poor - The good things about this hotel are that the beds are quite comfortable, and over all cleaniness is satisfactory. Although the hotel interior looks very recently decorated, there are several things in the room that are either broken or not working, such as bathroom locks and bath tub drains. There is a large gap in the bathroom curtains so you can look into the bathroom from the bedroom area and those curtains are semi-transparent. A bit lack of privacy. The worst part is that the staff didn't seem to know the hotel very well. We checked the opening hours of the swimming pool before heading down, when we got to the pool one hour before it closed, the staff told us the pool was already closed. And the next morning we checked the opening time and to double confirm it we called front desk and asked whether the pool is open, the staff reassured us that it was definitely open. We went down and the pool was locked. Very unpleasant experience.

- BusinessTravele (8/5): beautiful hotel too far away - the hotel was great and it really worked for me because i booked to spend the night before an early flight from pudong. i would not recommend if you are looking to go into the city because it is too far away from every interesting place in Shanghai.
