Das Hotel hat einen Swimmingpool, der sehr sauber aussah. Die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt und das Zimmer war sauber. Im Hotel befindet sich auch eine Schneiderei, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Het personeel is echt super lief en vriendelijk. Ik zou mijn laatste dag ‘s avonds vetrekken met de sleeper bus en toen hebben ze nog een bahn mi gemaakt zodat ik nog had gegeten voordat ik met de bus ging.

Rekommenderar hotellet Gillade allt. För oss var läget dock lite för trafikerat. Hördes dock inte in i rummet, och andra kan gilla läget med stort utbud av restauranger, små affärer och annat.

• Amrita (9/5): - The breakfast was really great. We tried almost everything on the menu and they were all delicious, ample and healthy. The host is extremely gracious and always there to help us with the food. The location was also really nice. It was not too far from the old town of Hoi An...about 1.3km or so but in a nice quiet neighboruhood with good local food shops around. We ate salmon sashimi at the crossing of the street, roast pork shoulder beside the house and amazing spicy boneless chicken feet just across the road. The terrace and balcony was a regular hangout for us during the day as well as the night and having a pool view from there was just an added bonus. We were pretty much always late,(always the last one) returning back at night but they always accomodated us with a smile. Overall it was very relaxing and we were very happy to be here. If I come back to Hoi An I will definitely come back to stay here again. Thank you so so much for your hospitality!
• Sandra (10/5): Moon is such a gracious host, enjoyed the stay! - Spacious rooms. Exceptionally clean property. The owners are very kind and attentive. Good location if you want to avoid the mob of people and noise in Old town. Several convenience stores near the property. The walk is a flat 1km to the edge of Old Town with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops along the way before you arrive at Old Town where the coffee and food prices double.

La chambre était grande ainsi que la salle de bain. Pour 2 nous avions deux chambres. Du bruit de cuisine et de voix dès 7 h le matin.

Les vélos mis à disposition sont en bon état. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux, en plus on a un large choix entre sucré ou salé, européen ou asiatique, le top ! Les chambres sont propres et confortables, le balcon est appréciable, la piscine aussi ! La climatisation ne fait pas de bruit. Enfin, nous avons apprécié l'accueil et la gentillesse de Moon et de sa famille. Le jour de notre départ en bus à 6h30, Moon nous a même préparé des Banh Mi pour notre petit déjeuner. La colazione si sceglie il giorno prima da un menù predefinito, preparata poi sul momento e devo dire molto buona. Per il prezzo che si paga è un'ottima scelta per viaggiatori singoli. Un po' lontano dal centro (circa 20 minuti a piedi) ma una corsa in grab vi costa meno di un euro.

La ubicación estaba bien para recorrer toda la ciudad. La dueña nos dejó coger bicis gratis. El desayuno estaba bien y tenías diferentes opciones. Costaba mucho rato que saliera el agua caliente, aunque terminaba saliendo. La cama era muy dura. Quizás las instalaciones un poco antiguas para el precio.

Near to An Bang beach and good for running around paddy fields. Moon villa is on higher ground and not affected by flooding. Exceptionally good value and nice big choice of breakfasts. Nice pool. Moon was a lovely host and a truly talented tailor of 30 yrs experience. We had 19 items of clothing made all within a couple of days and much better value than in town. • Flynn (10/5): Moon and her family were so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. So much so we decided to stay for another week, 2 weeks - The room was perfect. Big, bright with an open balcony. The breakfast included was amazing, you leave your requests the night before and everything is cooked fresh and to-order the next day. The laundry service was reasonable and fast too. The location to the Old Town was perfect as well as cafes, restaurants and gyms.

So not juice and coffee, just 1. Not exactly how we prefer, you should start the day with properly hydrating in a warm climate.

• Alicia (8/5): Very friendly and accommodating Hosts. - Very friendly hosts. Nice room with a terrace. The whole place was always spotless including the pool and grounds. It’s around about a 20min walk to old town or a few mins in a grab. The only real concern was when we had day trips out we had to let them know what time we would be home as they lock everything up early. Also more variety for breakfast would be great.
• Floris (10/5): Great place to stay, with easy access to everything - I've liked my stay here a lot so far. The hosts are kind and attentive. The whole place has quite the grandeur to it, but is also cozy at the same time. It's very centrally located and close to lots of good food places, multiple fitness centers, the town center, and the rice fields. I chose it after having previously stayed at other areas in town. This place gives the best of all words; still some relative quiet, but with easy access to everything. My room is great, with well-thought-out features like outlets, storage, and light switches in convenient places. The bathroom has good facilities that work well. Wifi is also good everywhere in the building. The hosts are kind and the breakfasts are nice too. I prefer to make my room as dark as I can at night. While the room does have a good blackout curtain, the AC has a light I can't turn off or reach to cover. It's a tiny issue that doesn't bother me too much though.
• Marie (8/5): Will definitely return - Moon and staff were fabulous. The place was spotless and homely. Great quiet location. We borrowed two bikes and they had no brakes. Sadly this caused an accident which left some ongoing pain. Moon was straight onto this and sent the bikes for repair.

• Tiffany (10/5): Amazing Homestay in Hoi An - We really like this Homestay and the family which handed this. They are pleasant and very accommodating. We truly recomand this place. The pool is really a plus when it is too hot outside. Besides, it is well located in Hoi An. 20min at foot to the ancient town and it is possible to borrow some bikes or scooter, which is very nice. Furthermore, there are plenty restaurants, bars and spa around with abordable price. We spent around 2 or 5 euros to eat and drink per person. You also can do body massage for 7 euros/1hour. We enjoyed our time here! /

The owner and staff are exceptional in every way! A little far from downtown. Easy if you ride a bike, otherwise you can take a Grab taxi.
• Karina (8/5): A nice stay in a cozy neighbourhood - Host Helen is extremely helpful with arranging taxis from/to airport, transport to Hué and My Son. The homestay is decent, clean, towels were changed every day. The location is also good: not in the loud Old Town but a nice 20min walk from there. There are many local restaurants around, a fruit Market and a lot of spa centers.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly. They recommended a snorkelling trip to Cham Island which we loved. Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was delightful. And we loved using the bikes. We came for one night and stayed for 3 we were so happy! Nothing, everything was excellent.
• Vanessa (9/5): Nice family nice area and beautifu large room - I really loved my stay in the moon villa and even decided to stay one night more! The couple running it is lovely and full of attentions. The room is really big, quiet (double layer window), clean and beautiful (this blue colour!) and the swimming pool is perfect after a ride downtown. It is a littlebit away from the old center but for me it's even better because it's too crowdy and touristy there. Here you get to have a bigger room, authentic Vietnamese life when you walk out the street (market, pagoda, good vietnamese restaurants at reasonable price), a beautiful breakfast with Vietnamese options, a fresh clean pool and free bicycles to ride to the center in 5 minutes or to the rice paddies or the beach... Thank you again for this nice stay and your hospitality! Plus: I had some clothes sewed there too for a reasonable price and in a very short time (less than 24h!) I gotta say the quality impressed me as I gave some trousers I wanted to copy and the result is exaclt the same!

The pool was amazing as Mr Moon cleans it everyday. Its about 20 min walk to the centre but its peaceful to stay away from all the chaos. Couldn't recommend this place more.

• Madeleine (10/5): Moon Villa - highly recommend if staying in Hoi An! - of all the homestays we stayed in (8 in total) in northern Vietnam this was our favourite and we extended our stay 😊 Moon and her family were so warm, welcoming and helpful, breakfast was offered as part of the room and made fresh every morning, the pool was clean as were the rooms and the location perfect - 15 min walk to the main old town (so close but far enough to be quiet) and a 20 min cycle to the beach, bike rental was free! really recommend Moon Villa, we would come again!

The location is super nice if you can't decide whether you rather want to stay in the city or by the beach! The moon villa is not far from both! We took the bicycle everyday and loved the little ride to the beach and into the city center :)

• Mia (10/5): Memorable stay in Hoi An - Well kept, family-run hotel in a quiet location between the old town (10-15 mins walk) and the beach (10 -15 mins bike ride). Breakfast options were varied and delicious - you decide what you want the night before. Bikes and beach towels are readily available to borrow if you want to explore the beaches. The Moon Villa also serves as a tailoring shop and my husband got shirts and pants made in 24hrs. The owners are wonderful and helped with booking a cooking tour and transport to the airport. For us this was a perfect distance, and you could even grab a bike to take to the old town or the beach (about 15 minute bike ride). The breakfast was good. All in all, we loved our stay in Moon her villa.

• Emelie (10/5): Very nice visit in Hoi An - We had a great stay at The Moon Villa in Hoi An. Everybody who works there are super friendly and they do everything they can to make sure that you have an enjoyable stay. Madame Moon is also a tailor so we decided to have some dresses and shirts done, and they were done very fast (in less than 24 hours!), which was great since we were only staying 2 nights in Hoi An. The prices were good and we are very happy with the result, and it's very comfortable to have your tailor in the same plave where you are staying, for fittings and such. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, the cooked-on-order breakfast was delicious, and the pool was very enjoyable. Also, the villa is situated just 20 minutes of walking from the beautiful Old Town of Hoi An. Overall, we are very happy with our stay here and would recommend it to anyone going to Hoi An!
• King (10/5): A nice home stay villa - We stayed in this hotel for three nights. Our room was in good size with balcony, very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Fast wifi in the hotel . The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The hotel located at a quite street. With a easy 20 minutes walking to ancient town. Near by there was local market selling tropical fruits, convenient stores, and restaurants. The hotel was well managed by Mrs. Moon, all her staff were very helpful and cheerful. Moon also had a tailor shop in the hotel, we ordered a suit that was nicely done after a little change. We highly recommend this hotel to every one.
• Paul (10/5): 'Over the Moon' -- Our experience at Moon Homestay - Staying at Moon Homestay was amazing, and just as amazing were Moon and her staff, especially Michael. They are always present (they never sleep!) and always ready to help ... and, as an extra bonus, they always do what they do with a huge smile. Not only did they provide us with accommodation, but they also provided us with great advice about Hôi An, as well as booking some excursions for us. The rooms are well equipped, and the large lobby area provides even more room for one to 'spread out', if necessary. The breakfasts are also excellent. The bespoke tailoring shop downstairs is another special feature. Although Hoi An is filled with other places that are happy to provide custom tailoring, the convenience of doing so within your homestay is very positive. Moon and her staff are able to work miracles, in incredibly little time. I should add that there is no 'hard sell'. One can feel quite comfortable with not taking advantage of such services (although it might be hard to resist the temptation). Staying with Moon and her staff is definitely a positive experience!

The staff were really so friendly and helpful, rooms good size and clean, and the pool was an added bonus (required in 39'C heat! 20min walk to the old town and 13min bike to the beach. The pool area is beautiful and a welcome place to relax. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Moon also has a tailoring business and we were very happy with items we had made. There is no hard sell at all which is a refreshing change in Hoi An. The hotel is between the Old Town and An Bang beach and there are plenty of local good cafes and the Pandanus spa within walking distance. Bikes are provided free and it is a very cheap taxi ride to Old Town or the beach . Moon will also book taxis or other outings for you. We would highly recommend this homestay. It is a very authentic experience.
• Lauren (10/5): Great homestay - My husband and I stayed here about a week and we loved it. The breakfasts were delicious, the room was very comfortable, and Moon and her family were very sweet. We walked to town many times (~10-15 minutes) as well as taking the bikes (~5 minutes), we also used the bikes to head to the beach. The pool was an incredible way to cool off after a long day of exploring. I would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I have been traveling for several months and were looking for a place we could unwind and feel at home. After a little research and reading positive reviews online, Moon's place seemed perfect. We ended up extending our stay in Hoi An to 16 days and had the most amazing time! Moon's family and staff are friendly, welcoming and seemed like old friends by the end of our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and some even have a private balcony. We spent many evenings out there relaxing! A delicious breakfast was included with our stay - excellent coffee and the omelette was out of this world. I ate it almost everyday! Great wifi too. There's a lovely outside area with lounge chairs, tables and a pool. Moon's husband, Thanh, keeps the pool in pristine condition! We took advantage of the free bikes available and spent most days exploring around town. Moon is very knowledgable of the area and will help with recommendations and tours. Moon owns a tailoring business (Bespoke) that's inside the Homestay. I had several items made I highly recommend taking advantage if this HUGE perk! She can work off an existing style or custom match anything you want. Everything came out perfect! The prices are great and it's so convenient to have in-house. The location is a quick bike ride to downtown and the beach. If you're looking for a place that has character and isn't your typical resort experience, book her

• Narelle (8/5): Spacious Rooms - Moon does very well with her communication prior to arrival, which is much appreciated. She arranged pickup from Da Nang Airport for us, as well as pointing me to a website to arrange a bicycle tour. Our room was very spacious, with two queen beds and a large bathroom. Wifi worked well in the room. The chef was happy to cook our breakfast each morning to suit our dietary needs. The pool was so nice to be able to cool off in after a long walk downtown. When we first arrived, there was loud music from across the street, but it soon stopped before we were ready for sleep. There was construction going on next door (an extension to Moon Homestay we were told) but this didn’t interfere with our sleep. Good value and good staff, as well as having a tailor shop in house. While I didn’t have any clothes made, we saw lots of people having fittings and were happy with their items. Thank you Moon for an enjoyable stay.

• Stephen (10/5): Best hotel ever at modest price - This is one of the best hotel values we have found ever! The price was modest, the room was large and very comfortable and the pool was a luxury we don't expect at this price. Na, the owner, was super warm and she not only lends out bikes for free and gives a wonderful breakfast, she spends time with each guest to make their visit the best it can be. This is a terrific place to stay in a wonderfully charming city!
• Gabi (10/5): Excellent location, a home from home - Staying here was an absolute pleasure. We arrived really late after a delayed flight in to Da Nang so it was really nice to be so warmly welcomed. When we arrived, we were offered drinks and were shown straight to our room, no lengthy check in process which was great as we just wanted to get straight in to bed! The room was so big, we had a double bed each, a hair dryer and there's lots of toiletries in the bathroom, the shower is a rainfall shower too. Every morning breakfast is made to order with a range of western and Vietnamese dishes and drink options. One of the best points for us was that Moon has a tailor service on site, this is perfect as you don't have to waste anytime in hoi an going to fittings etc as you can do it after breakfast and even when you get in late after dinner! We had two dresses made and they are gorgeous! So happy with them. Another great point for this hotel is the location, it's perfect really because you can get to the town and the beach, there's free bikes to use as well which we used everyday but you can easily walk to town too. Everyone we met while staying with Moon was lovely!
