• Rima (10/5): - This property really exceeded our expectations. Its a wow place, from friendly hosts, welcoming us with a drink upon arrival; to the amazing views especially from our balcony. The team at the restaurant and bar were exceptional. Always friendly, chatty and went the extra mile to try and accommodate our needs, especially Magda and Dimitri, who is an excellent chef providing a great tasting menu. • Kristin (10/5): - Wir hatten einen unglaublich schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft Kommeno Bella Vista. Der Ausblick vom Balkon unseres Appartements war umwerfend und einzigartig. Das Appartement und die Anlage waren sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man brauchen könnte. In direkter Nähe befindet sich das Restaurant Apovrado, dass nicht nur durch einen tollen Ausblick besticht, sondern auch durch die schmackhafte griechische Küche. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die beiden Gastgeber der Anlage und ihre unverwechselbare Gastfreundschaft. Die beiden sind ein sehr herzliches Paar, dass uns ab der ersten Sekunde das Gefühl gegeben hat, auf der Anlage willkommen zu sein, und uns für mögliche Anliegen gerne zur Verfügung zu stehen. Alles in allem ein klasse Appartement, das wir gerne jedem weiterempfehlen können!
• Sandra (10/5): Amazing views and welcoming hosts - Very beautiful place. Amazing views from our balcony. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We had booked a one bedroom with seaview and we were upgraded to a two bedroom with a large balcony and seaview!!!! Would definitely recommend!!!
• Kevin (10/5): - Wonderful views over the bay & towards Albania / Greece from a large balcony. Pool good with more than enough sun beds and able to take the sun all day if you wish. 3 very decent restaurants within 10 minute walk - Apovrado literally over the road, Panorama 5 mins walk down the hill and the (quite posh) Mylos another 3 minutes further. Decent supermarkets a bit further away - doable by #7 bus, although most hired cars for at least part of the stay. We didn’t hire a car, and were lucky enough to have the owners’ son (Alex) offer us a lift to the supermarket, where we bought enough good food, water, booze etc to make our stay very comfortable. We asked for 9 litres of water to be put in our room on arrival, & we were very happy that this request was met. Thanks guys! 10-15 minute walk down the hill to the bus stop - #7 to Corfu Town one way, Dassia and Ipsos the other. Handy. Corfu Town is well worth a day visit, with a few stops for drinks and food. Can also get “water taxi” from the beach - 8 minute walk down steps. Met or exceeded expectations overall compared to price paid; a little further from shops than we’d imagined, but this was mitigated for us by Alex giving us a lift to the supermarket on our first full day. Views are wonderful, balconies large, big fridge/freezer, 2 hobs, oven, grill, toaster etc…apartments clean, staff & owners friendly & helpful…kitchen equipment fine other than the cook’s / carving knife needs sharpening. Lovely hols; VFM at the price paid.
• Tony (10/5): Kommeno Bay - Beautiful location with fantastic view! Mr. Spyros and his wife were incredible hosts, friendly and extremely supportive and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen, air conditioners in every room, clean and comfortable. The area is away from center of town and very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

If you have a car it is easy to get around and find shopping for food and restaurants. Not so many things in walking distance. We would love to come back!

Mais contrairement a ce qui est noté sur hotel.com, il ny a ni petit-dejeuner, ni epicerie, ni bar. Nous sommes arrives sans rien et nous avons du aller faire des courses des notre arrivee. Ce nest pas la faute de l'etablissement, mais plutôt du site qui annonce une information erronée

The view on the sea directly from the balcony and pool area was stunning and as shown in the pictures provided! The room service was on point, the AC worked properly and the own parking area next to the hotel always offered an available parking lot. The host and his wife were so nice, started from the welcome until the goodbye! We can really recommend this hotel! See you next time!
• Georgia (10/5): - This is such a beautiful calm area! Spiros and Voula Kostas are so sweet and make you feel so welcome there. They offered us espresso coffee and cookies every day! They helped us get taxis and said if we needed a car they could help us set that up. We wanted to relax and enjoy the beach and pool so we opted not to rent a car but we hope to return there and would like to rent a car next time. The room is comfortable and spacious. The views from the balcony are wonderful! There are two amazing restaurants near by that you can walk to. One is just down the steps from the hotel and it opens at 1:00 pm every day. The other one is Panorama Taverna which opens every evening and they both have a wonderful view and amazing food. They don’t offer breakfast anymore so be sure to purchase breakfast food and coffee. The nearest grocery store is pretty far to walk to and the mini market near there was closed while we were there. The steps going down to the main road to both restaurants are a work out but we did fine and enjoyed getting the exercise but some elderly people may not be able to handle the steps.

• Adrian (10/5): Paradise - This place is absolutely fantastic. The view is amazing, rooms are very clean. Anything you ask, they are more than happy to help you with. Host was very nice. Quite beach within walking distance (beautiful walk, stairs too), but a larger beach with shops and restaurants is less than 10min drive. One of the best vacations ever, and we travel a lot. My teenage boys also loved it. I give it a 10+

• David (10/5): Perfect to relax and wind down - We arrived at midnight and were greeted by the owners son, lovely welcome. We woke up the following morning to a spectacular view overlooking the bay. The room was well appointed and the bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished to a high standard. We had a two be apartment with a large balcony. The kitchen was functional but we are out. There are a couple of restaurants, one across the street and one a short walk away, both served excellent food with the same spectacular views. This property is located on a steep incline and the steps down to the restaurant were plentiful and a reasonable level off fitness is required, I’m almost 60 and fat but we managed no problem. The hosts were very warm, welcoming and went the extra mile, especially the owners so who helped us out on the last day. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAY

• covenantnp (10/5): Καταπληκτική διαμονή !!!!! - Καταπληκτική διαμονή σε ενα υπεροχο κατάλυμα με υπέροχους και αξεπεραστους οικοδεσπότες και ειδικα τον κ.Σπύρο.Πεντακάθαρα δωμάτια με όλες τις παροχές με απίστευτη θέα στη Θαλασσα και την Β.Κερκυρα και οχι μονο. Η πισίνα τέλεια με θέα επισης στη θαλασσα . Θα ξαναπάμε σίγουρα !!!!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and property but inexistant service - Great property but almost no service. The bar is always closed and the reception empty. The cleaning lady does the absolute minimum and is not very pleasant. She did not even make our bed. She came in every other day as advertised and left the top sheet and bed cover as a pile on the bed. Towels were also left on the kitchen table, inside the plastic bag from the cleaners. Kitchen ustensiles are minimal as well: not even a salad bowl in the kitchen. There was dishwashing liquid and a sponge but no soap, shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, not even a sample of each for the first day. Wifi was weak in the room but it was good by the pool as stated in the description.

• Ava (10/5): The perfect place - A beautiful set of apartments surrounded by green and sea views. The owners of this place are so nice and helpful. They sorted us out with a vehicle for our stay, booked taxis when needed and were overall very accommodating. Our flight home was very late and passed check out, they allowed us to use another room with a shower etc to keep our suitcases and change before leaving. The room we stayed in was clean, modern and the view was amazing. The kitchen has everything you need. The place is local to a few taverns and you can walk down to beaches easily, but to get to a big shop or any restaurants/bars etc you ideally need a car or bike. You can walk it but it takes 40 mins and is not so fun in the dark.
• Paul (10/5): Lovely, quiet apartments - Lovely, quiet apartments, fantastic pool, quiet location with super views across the bay. Breakfast was simple, but very tasty and well presented. Close to beach where water sports are available and local taverna's close by. Spiros, the owner, went out of his way to ensure all was well. Can't wait to come back

• H (10/5): Mooi appartement met een fantastisch uitzicht! - Mooi appartement met 2 slaapkamers. Keukentje misschien wat krap, maar prima om een ontbijtje of lunch te maken. Uitgebreid koken hebben wij niet gedaan. Vlakbij zijn voldoende goede restaurants. Vanuit je bed of vanaf het balkon heb je een fantastisch uitzicht over de baai! Als we ooit weer naar Corfu gaan, gaan we zeker weer naar dit appartement.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Bella Vista - indeed! - We were only at the property one night because of prior plans. The view is certainly the appeal. The condition of the property is fine, and the staff is very helpful and courteous. The neighborhood is upscale and perhaps the nicest on Corfu, but do no expect beaches or attractions in the immediate area. A very nice property for rest and contemplation.

• Edeltraud Mohry (10/5): Unschlagbare Aussicht in allerbesterer Korfu-Lage. - Kommeno ist die rennomierteste Lage auf Korfu und ist nicht zu weit weg von Kerkira, der Hauptstadt. Man sollte - nicht zuletzt wegen der Höhenlage - über einen Mietwagen verfügen. Die Appartmentanlage ist wunderbar gepflegt mit absolutem Wohlfühlfaktor. Das Ehepaar, das die schöne Anlage betreibt, steht bei allen Fragen freundlich und hilfsbereit zur Seite. Beide sprechen gutes Englisch und sind "echte" Gastgeber, nicht nur Betreiber. Von der faszinierenden Aussicht dort oben können wir nur schwärmen... Wir kommen nächstes Jahr bestimmt wieder! Ein Video über den Aufenthalt werden wir auf meinem Youtube-Kanal in absehbarer Zeit einstellen (Heilerin Edeltraud Mohry).
• Heiko (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswert!!!! - Es handelt sich um eine sehr gepflegte, großzügige Apartmentanlage in Hanglage mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den nördlichen Teil der Insel (seitl. Meerblick - Zimmer 101). Alle Zimmer haben Schiebetüren mit Insektenschutzgittern, was wir bei der Mückenplage als sehr angenehm empfanden. Die Küchenausstattung ist umfangreich und gepflegt. Die Eigentümer der Anlage sind ein sehr nettes, hilfsbereites älteres Paar. Viele deutsche TV-Sender sind digital einstellbar. Kostenloses WLAN ist vorhanden. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Taverne (gut und preiswert) liegt direkt unterhalb der Anlage.
• Sarah (10/5): Peaceful Retreat - Lovely hillside apartments in a peaceful private small complex. We awoke on our first morning to the most stunning rise through the patio doors in the bedroom. The views from the balcony were amazing with a fantastic panorama over the bay and surrounding area. The apartments are on a hill which means that there is quite a steep walk down the steps to the beach but its well worth it. There are quite a few good restaurants in the area with a small supermarket (quite pricey) at the bottom of the apartments. There is a small pool which also offers great views of the surrounding area. Spiros and his wife couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, from booking taxi's, hire cars and printing our boarding passes for us nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay to relax and unwind, I couldn't recommend the Bella Vista more highly.

• clive (10/5): Amazing views!! - The view is amazing. The owners and cleaners are lovely, helpful people. The aircon works really well. No pool bar. Breakfast is 7 Euro but you're better off using your own facilities. Oven and hob basic but working fine. All other appliances fine. Great beds. Good shower. No proper supermarket in walking distance. Great taverna at the bottom of the steps. No need to go anywhere else as it shares the same gorgeous view. Beach small and average. Can hire boats etc down there. Not suitable for elderly, infirm or pushchairs due to loads of steps and hills. Only 30 euro in a taxi from airport. Late checkout was ok if nobody else coming in. Also have a luggage and shower room. Great pool. Good mix of deep and shallow and very warm water late July. Overall an absolutely great relaxing week. Highly recommended!!
• Neil (10/5): Spectacular views, fab little hotel. - Lovely hotel with around approx 14 rooms. Ours was well furbished (comfortable beds, balcony furniture, table and chairs in the reception room) with ultra effective air conditioning in each bedroom. Obviously the fridge comes in useful for storing supplies (the pool bar didn't open whilst we were there so we bought our own drinks and snacks). We had a room with a sea view but judging by the design and aspect I think that all rooms must have great views of the bay. The swimming pool is great fun, rarely gets busy down there and again well appointed with sun loungers. The sea is close by down a fairly steep set of steps, there are boat hire facilities there which we made use of and had a lovely time taking a boat around the whole bay in 2 hours. There are a number of tavernas locally but we just ate at the one below the hotel which had excellent food and is very affordable. We did not want a car which meant getting to a supermarket was more of a challenge, You need to walk 900 metres to a bus stop and catch the bus which comes every 20 mins. Its about 5 mins ride to the shop. You can do the same trip back although we were able to flag a cab down which saves a walk up hill with shopping. Breakfast at the hotel is local Greek style, very nice and good value at 7 euros. The hosts are very helpful and attentive and their chief focus is to ensure that everyone is happy and having a good time - all very relaxed.
• iveta (10/5): Exceeded our expectations - This apartment hotel has a view that is to die for , fantastic people run it .Spiros the owner is helpful and offered us upgrade for free . They make you feel like you are friend staying with them. Near by is a great taverna that is serving gorgeous seafood and meats including children menu at reasonable prices . We are definitely coming back
• John (10/5): A small piece of heaven :) - The Bella Vista apartments were very comfortable and clean and our bins emptied most days. We had a one bedroom (side) apartment which had sun most of the day with great views. Spiros and his wife were very friendly and helpful with any information asked of them. The apartment is in a great location to explore the Island with Paleokastritsa being only a 20 minute drive away and Corfu Town 5/10 minutes at the most. I would recommend you hire a car if you stay here as most restaurants and Dasia Beach are a short drive away, there are a couple of Tavernas locally and a small beach below the apartment but our preference was Dasia and Ipsos. Great place to stay for a quiet relaxing break.
• Verified traveler (10/5): 5 Star - Room was great, beautiful views, housekeeping was excellent, fresh towels and sheets, nothing was too much for her. The owner and family were friendly helpful and warm. Taxi organised for pickup and car hire hire. Good Restaurants in walking distance. Only disappointment was that term lovely pool bar was only open for breakfast, we would have spent more time at the lovely pool f we could have got drinks and snacks. Overall a lovely place to relax.
