My mam and dad could not stay in there room and moved to different hotel as the ceiling had fell through and the ladders ect were still in the room when to ask for refund and did not receive one
- Faisal (10/5): - Nice and friendly
- andrea (1/5): Worst hotel ever in Blackpool. - absolutely disgusting place was there 10 mins and me and both of my children were bit by something. We went outside to go and find another hotel. Once arrived in room we had a man who said he had to bleed the radiator as doesnt have time during the week he didn't do that at all pretended he done something left a can of cider on the side which my 5 year old twins went to drink thinking it was pop. 2 minutes later he came back asking for his drink saying he needs it to keep him going. The whole place needs shutting down. Asked for refund and nobody has getting back to me from the hotel. Booking.com have tried contacting the hotel to solve the issue.
- Rebecca (1/5): Vile vile vile!! - Nothing The hotel was absolutely disgusting!! Soon as we checked in we checked straight back out, it was unsafe and unhealthy for my children to stay in. Never seen a room so filthy and dirty in my life. AVOID!!! Paid £70 to stay in a dump and won’t refund my money even though we left and didn’t stay. Can only upload a few photos. Bunk beds falling apart and kept up with screws hanging out. Lucky found a lovely clean hotel and had to scrub us all as my daughter got bit of something soon as we walked in🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
- Michael (6/5): Get what u pay for i suppose - Cheap and location No bedsheets on the duvets or pillows, didnt know who the host was to try get somw
- Silas (10/5): I would stay again & recommend - Great location, nice people. Tolerant & professional staff N/a
- Carl (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Stacey (1/5): -
- Aytek (1/5): 🤢🤢🤢 filthy and stinks - Walking out the property Walking in the property it was very disappointed with the property as there was poo stains on the toilet wee stains on the toilet seat pubic hair on the rim of the toilet they shower walls was stained with what looked like bodily fluids.
There was a large blood stains on the pillows blood stain on the sheet on the bed no protector on the mattress the pillows was also yellow staine all over.
The toilet door had a big hole in it that looks like someone as punched it chunks out of the area where the sink and kettle was ie doors wallpaper hanging off everything you can touch and see was very dirty.
When we arrived we was told our room would be ready in 10 minutes as it was being cleaned well all the above tells me it wasn't cleaned at all and the cleaner came and said she'd finished but the door handle to the room was hanging off so they put a few screws in and after another 10 minutes was told where our room was.
On arrival 1 of the manager's friends was sat in the outdoor seating area smoking cannabis.
I definitely will not be going back or recommending it to anyone in fact I'll recommend it to health and hygiene
- Mcfarlane (9/5): - Location.Freindly staff, clean ,quiet .handy for shops pubs and resturant.pleasue beach nearby.
- Kirsty (7/5): - Staff were pleasant rooms clean friendly Could just do with a little paint
- Nigel 'Steff' (9/5): Kind, Welcoming, Spacious, Comfy! - Goodness, where to start? Although this place calls itself 3-star and is simple and unpretentious, in terms of the kindness, service and welcome plus the cleanliness I feel it's definitely at the upper end of it's league. Superb South Shore location, close to Blackpool South, bus and rail routes, the sea front with a Wetherspoons plus the Sandcastle & Pleasure Beach are a stone's throw away. When we arrived we had a warm and helpful welcome from Kirsty, which we saw replicated with other guests and visitors throughout our stay - her helpfulness was invaluable. She showed us to our well-appointed family room, which had been upgraded due to something being repaired in our original one. The whole place was spotlessly clean, yes simple and spartan, but a large comfy bed, bunk beds for kids plus kettle, TV and a top-end microwave. The duvet was soft and extra blankets, towels or pillows were never a problem whenever we asked.
We slept perfectly on the simple bud comfy bed and loved the simple but spacious, clean and warm room. Good shower unit, needed a little time to get hot but once it did I never failed to have a satisfying shower. Next door, over the road and round the corner are not only a bunch of restaurants but takeaways that do a killer breakfast, excellent curries, good pizza plus there's several sit-down restaurants and pubs within easy reach. Kirsty seemed genuinely concerned that every guest was comfortable and was a Wise Sage of advice what to do in Blackpool.
It's so hard to describe because yes everything is simple and unpretentious here, basic carpet etc - but the room was so comfy and spacious, so clean, so well located, you felt so well looked after and a budget H/T break ended up beating various international holidays we've had. Chatting with other guests, they felt likewise. Thank you so much - we will return to the Silver Strand! No complaints, superb value and service with a smile made this place punch above its weight
- mark (8/5): Good value hotel.... - Quick and easy check-in....polite staff....room was basic but clean with all the facilities stated....no issues at all....excellent value....this is my second stay and I would definitely return
- Linda Davidson (10/5): - Staff were lovely if you need anything just ask
- Rebeka (10/5): -
- Susan (5/5): Location was great but nothing else good to say about the hotel. - Location was great and price was good. No towels were provided we were told on arrival they were in the dryer and would be brought to our room later which they were not. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable and obviously in need of replacing. The room needed redecorating and two curtains would have been better than one. The toilet had a leak at the back of it which was reported but it was still leaking the next day. The bar area was taped off due to it having the floor painted. The hotel maybe cheap but it was lacking in many ways.
- Whitecross (6/5): - Mad Kelly all Blackpool hotel was good staff were good but bed was too bumpy Bumpy bed toast
- Robinson (9/5): -
- Austen (7/5): -
- Ben (8/5): Satisfied - Staff friendly it satisfied my needs of what I was using it for I found the bed a little hard and uncomfortable and the room could do with being updated
- Deepumon (7/5): - Nice service Nothing
- Garvey (1/5): Nasty - Nothing to like also i dont like being accused of breaking things everything in that room is falling apart and I forgot to add about the massive bed bug i found on my way out The people the stafff the smell the room the guests im sure dont rent rooms there not a chance
- Kailey (6/5): - Perfect location The TV bracket was skrewed into the actual Tele .the window had no handle on.was cold through the nite the bedding had some sort of pet hairs on .the pillow looked like there was a foot print on . The shower was broken kept sliding down. The wall paper was crawling off the walls
- Peter May (8/5): Fantastic.Hotel. - I have stayed in the Silver Strand on several occasions, the three amegos are fantastic staff. The location is brilliant, right on the Promenade, plenty of cafes, shops, pubs close by,and the main bus routes and the Tram Way are very close by.I dont have a bad word to say about the Hotel,Great Value, Nice and Quiet also, good hotel for the solo Adventurous fella.Cheers. I have nothing to dislike.it was perfect for myself.
- Garvey (1/5): Disgusting - The room was disgusting constant banging all day drives you insane and it smells rotten dont go there be warned The room the building the smell everything about it was bad

- Shauna (8/5): Amazing value for money! Fantastic and friendly hosts.... - Silver strand hotel was amazing value for money... All 3 of us really enjoyed our stay, the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful!!!
Great location, on the south pier... We managed to park on the side of the road which is free parking.
Heating was on which made the room warm and welcoming.
Tea and coffee was provided as well as an extra blanket and towels which was a few nice touches.
Our room was on top floor and the hotel, despite being busy was nice and quiet which ment we got a great night sleep! 😀
- Travis (10/5): -
- Barbara (8/5): -
- Jo (6/5): - Very run down but clean bed n comfortable. Walls held together with sticky back plastic, looked like a Blue Peter job but made most of the comfortable bed, had a good sleep. Rundown, old, cracked walls n ceiling but had a laugh there
- Leeanne (5/5): - Location
Fridge in room Rooms needed dusting and chewing gum found on bunk bed by daughter.
- hamza (1/5): - Staff was understandable to our situation there was bug beds in the room got evidence to prove
- Jessie (7/5): Good for the money spent - I booked a double bed room for me and my son and it was a good price for what you get! but it was a good stay i paid £74 for 3 nights and it was a good price in my eyes! Very close to the beach, local shops and cafes near by too! The bathroom was very small with a toilet and sink and small step in shower, (not advised for people with claustrophobia)
The roof tiles were bowed in so I had worried the roof may fall on top of me!
- Dennis (5/5): -
- Waseem (1/5): Cheap but uncomfortable and run down - Location is good but hotel and rooms is in very bad shape and very uncomfortable beds. Staff were friendly and do their best. Other guests were a bit rude and racist but thats not the hotel’s fault. The hotel, beds and rooms in general were in very poor condition. It was a very uncomfortable stay, had I known prior the cheap price wasnt worth it.
- Kerry (1/5): - The location The rooms were mouldy, looks nothing like the pictures the beds are so uncomfortable the rooms and facilities are very old and dated. The people who was in the room below us had to leave because the beds where riddled in bed bugs.
- Alisha (1/5): Disgusting, owners don’t answer booking.com or emails. - The location was good as it was near south pier Not clean, bugs dead and alive all over the room, we had ten live bugs flying around, the wardrobe was broken, the roof was leaking on us. Definitely not cleaned regular because someone else’s property(glasses) were left there. Also have videos of the roof leaking and bugs flying everywhere. Neighbours were also complaining about it to us.
- Ellie (1/5): I didn’t stay cause we felt intimidated - Nothing as soon as we arrived we were accused of stealing keys to be told they was ringing the police on us to then be told that they had already checked the people in the room that the keys were missing to Everything as soon as we arrived we were accused of stealing keys to be told they was ringing the police on us to then be told that they had already checked the people in the room that the keys were missing to
