- Sudhakar (7/5): Just okay - Room was good Common areas are not clean, and the elevator was always wet. I saw a man brushing in the common bath near the first-floor elevator. Lounge chairs aren't clean and are ripped.

- travelinginkspot (2/5): Awful - Dirty - I tend to stay in La Quinta's when I'm traveling with my dogs. The rooms are reliable and the price is fair. This time is no different. I've stayed here before. I checked in yesterday at 3. When I went in, the cooler/mini fridge was open and disconnected with the cord dangly in the opened door. I was thankful I didn't need anything refrigerated. I came back later that evening and since my dogs claimed the one bed, I went to the other and saw there was hair on the pillow and crumbs in the bed. It was so late that I just wanted to sleep so I went to the other bed, deciding I'd talk to management in the morning. In the morning, I went to shower and the moment I was in the shower, I noticed hair all over the shower. I went downstairs to speak to someone and no one answered the bell. I rang several times over about 5 minutes, but then had to leave so I left a note (which i timestamped at 8:10) asking a manager to call me. By 2:50 when I got back, no one had called. There was someone at the desk and I explained thar I was waiting for a call. He said he was waiting for his manager to get in at 4. He asked me to wait. I said I had somewhere to be, but I would talk to them when I got back. He said no problem, they'd be there all evening. He asked me to wait and then disappeared, came back a moment later to tell me, nevermind, the manger wasn't coming in. He said they would give me points and clean the room. I said I wanted to speak to a manager, but I'd grab my dogs so they could clean the room. I took my dogs to go sit in the lobby and about half hour later, I was told my room was done and I could go back. When I went back to the room, I saw the fridge no longer had the cord in the front and the second bed had been made, but the original bed still had hair all over it. I grabbed the pillow, went downstairs and said I needed a manager. The only manager on premises was the housekeeping one who was very nice and soft spoken and I tried to speak slowly and calmly because I could tell between her stutter and her inability to meet my eyes that she was uncomfortable. She agreed to go back and clean. So, I took my dogs out to the lobby again so she could clean. At 4:15, I watched the original hotel employee leave the hotel. I see another employee and ask if he really just left. When she said yes, I asked if anyone was going to tell me that I could go back to my room and if a manager had been contacted about my room. She advised she didn’t know what I was talking about, but that she would leave a note to the manager for when they got there TOMORROW. I took the dogs back upstairs, checked the bed, and saw there was crumbs still in the bed. So, not only was the bed not cleaned original before I got there, it wasn't cleaned the first complaint or even the second. I'm not sure what to do at this point because no one is talking to management and the employees aren't handling this well. I'm frustrated. I had business to handle up here so I was an hour and a half late... it's now been a week and I was given 7,500 points but no call or email from hotel management and Wyndham has left it in their hands. I am so appalled at how this has been handled all around that I cannot recommend La Quinta or really even Wyndham at this point.
- Ricky (7/5): -
- Pinheiro (6/5): - Breakfast was not very varied and there was no replenishment.
- Kali (4/5): - The location The bathroom was just big enough for one person to be in there at a time. I couldn't give my 2 year old a bath because the plug fir the bathtub didn't work. We were able to hear people in the surrounding rooms perfectly.
- Key (8/5): will definitely stay again but it needs to be added to website that you now require a $150 deposit - room was clean but smelled a little whatever they sprayed in hallways was not a good smell but breakfast was the same everyday i was just hoping it changed up a little but otherwoise very nice, we didnt know that there was a $150 deposit we have stayed there several times so we were disappointed so thankful that the hotel still accomodated us for our 4 night stay that was already paid for

- jasminesA4513HR (2/5): Horrible stay - No one at the front desk at check in had to wait for 15min. The hallway was leaking water from the ceiling and smelled so bad, breakfast was horrible the toaster was broken, by 8am there was no food left or coffee when breakfast wasn’t over until 10am. Horrible experience!
- Cindy (4/5): Will not go back. - Was very disappointed, according to the description on internet, you are able to see the falls from the hotel. When we arrived, we were told the falls were 4.5-5 miles away. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
Elevator was grinding and bumping as we neared the 4th floor.
- Edward (10/5): -
- chriscF2360PU (2/5): Dirty, disappointing - This hotel looks great from the photos, but really it’s very dirty. Many things have not been cleaned and many things are broken. Also, the pool was under maintenance so that was very disappointing.
- Guest (10/5): Me and my family enjoyed our stay - Liked everything about this hotel.Nice beds and breakfast was excellent. N/A
- T8768HMgaryr (2/5): Be Cautious - A horrible experience on many levels. Dog poop and bottles left under the bed and an adjacent room fire alarm ringing for an hour and 15 minutes ending around 11:15PM. We were on the third floor mobility accessible room with my spouse utilizing a wheelchair. The phone in our unit was inoperable. If this was an actual fire, we would have been in a precarious position. It is inexcusable that a fire alarm would be activated due to the occupants smoking in the room. Even worse, the alarm beeping and disturbing the adjacent rooms for well over an hour, commencing at 10PM. Manager stated the occupants would not answer the door, so they had to wait for the police to come to enter the room as required by local ordinance. Really, activating a fire alarm that disrupts many guests just for someone smoking against the policies. I noticed debris under the bed and requested the room to be cleaned. Fully 18 HOURS later, housekeeping arrived. What we thought was dog treats turned out to be dog poop, along with other debris. They used a broom to sweep it all up, not even a vacuum. You would think we were in a budget motel. Otherwise, the La Quinta was a decent 4-night stay. Exterior clean, comfortable bed and a decent hot breakfast. Management made no apologies other than stating guests were at fault. A written survey with my dissatisfaction was replied with a form letter stating my inputs were important to them

- kyle (2/5): Not clean or good area - The beds we’re comfortable The carpet in are room was full of stains and there was stains on the bottom of the bed. The shower looked like it wasn’t cleaned before we got there since there was still a dirty towel hanging over the shower and there was stained all over the tub.

Good breakfast. Easy access to interstate and many restaurant options nearby. Definitely recommend this hotel.
- Sachenka (7/5): Ok - Good location The smell of humidity too strong. Carpet was dirty
- Departure207641 (10/5): Good value - Everything was fine. The hotel could use an update. Bed spread was dirty like someone's dog scooted on the comforter. Other than that room was clean. Could use a new paint job and carpet. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was ok. They had hot eggs and sausage. We would stay here again.
- Dheepu (2/5): - Dear [Customer Support Team],
During my recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Niagara Falls (09/25–09/27/2025, Booking Ref: 89404EE044681), I was injured by a protruding iron rod from the cot frame in our room.
We immediately reported this to the hotel staff, but no corrective action was taken, nor were we offered a safer room. Traveling with a toddler and elderly parents, this was extremely unsafe and distressing. At checkout, the hotel advised us to contact your company for resolution.
Given the injury, safety risk, and negligence shown, I request appropriate compensation and a prompt investigation. Please confirm the next steps.
Sincerely,
Dheepu Jayakumar Kailas
- Rita (10/5): - Good breakfast. Hotel lobby and rooms clean!
Would stay again!
- Robert (6/5): - Room was not clean. Outside pet a
- Revunuri (7/5): -
- Gerald (2/5): - The rooms were disgusting and falling apart. We travelled with extended family and had two joining rooms and both the rooms had major issues. My daughter's room the carpets were absolutely horrendous. Her 3 year old son was playing with toys on the carpet for a short period of time and when he got up his knees and front of his feet were black!! She had to lay towels on the ground. Our bed sheets had stains, and my husband found some kind of medical gauze wrapped in the sheets AFTER we had slept in them the night before!!
I am usually not one to complain, and pretty tolerable of situations and not knit picking and understanding that hotels aren't perfect, however, this one I agree was not anywhere near suitable!
- Michael (8/5): - safe
- Bimaljeet (10/5): - Nice
- Marcelo (10/5): - Rooms were excellent, good breakfast and pool, very calm. Recommended
- Steve (4/5): - Very dirty halls, look like it hasnt been cleaned in weeks , room outdated , scuff marks all over the walls, elevator very sketchy , shower no water pressure
- Laurie (8/5): - I don't like how the toilet won't stop running and that the shower drips. The flashing washroom light is annoying.
Was told by the hotel staff they didn't have another room.
- Tim (8/5): - Staff had a bad habit of staring at people as hey either walking through or doing things in the lobby
- NICOLE (8/5): Nice & Cozy - This was a family trip to Niagara Falls. Our stay was pleasant. The area surrounding the hotel was quiet, we liked the fact that there was a movie theater in walking distance.
The hotel room was clean and accommodating. The hotel associates that we encountered, were all friendly, courteous, and professional.
Our family would definitely stay at this hotel again!
- Naresh (10/5): - We had booked 2 rooms ,travelled with family. Overall great experience 👍 Hotel room, bathrooms overall were very clean. Many options for breakfast 😋, 10-15mins drive from Niagra so its convenient.
Just 1 con, one room we stayed in had bathroom lock issue, it didnt matter to us as we were couple only byt it will matter of you are sharing rooms with friends, so definitely check on that
- Rookies (2/5): Not up to La Quinta- Wyndham Chain Standards - I am close to a founding member of Trip Advisor and a HUGE fan of the La Quinta chain within Wyndham, since I discovered it a decade ago. I make a pleasure trip to the Clifton Park, NY location and have never been disappointed. I normally write about all manner of positives- not this time.
This trip with my wife to the La Quinta in Niagara Falls, NY was both disappointing and surprising. It simply failed, imho, basic chain service standards as regards to cleanliness. While the beds were fine, stains abounded on the room carpets and couches, as well as the hallways, including the exits of the elevators. The latter did not appear to be swept.
Certainly, this property was built in this millennium and so it was shocking to me to see daily systemic failures, as well as necessary remodelling not as yet been undertaken. I realize that N.F., N.Y. is a heavily travelled tourist area, but so is my other yearly vacation stop.
Coincidentally, I had planned to return in the immediate future for another type of vacay with friends. Not anymore! Improved care to this property will need to be made to have me return.

- Carla (10/5): Great Stay - I booked La Quinta on Booking.com. The doors opened and the young lady said my name as she was waiting for us to check in. I had to go to her for a couple things/questions. She was absolutely wonderful each time I saw her. There was a young man in the morning. He was just as nice. I actually checked out to leave and stopped and turned around to tell him what a great stay we had and the staff was great. Breakfast consisted of waffles scrambled eggs and sausage, bagels, bread and I believe muffins. Absolutely nothing. Everything was great.
- Abdullah (7/5): -
- Janese (4/5): - I’ve stayed in plenty of la Quinta’s and never experienced anything like this. The pool is filthy, it’s green instead of blue and dead bugs were in it. The carpets in the hallways are disgusting! The room was really dusty. The sheets have stains on them. Overall this wasn’t a good experience
- Richard Rene (8/5): Aanrader vlak bij Niagara falls - Mooie grote kamer en goede badkamer. Goed ontbijt. Op 5 minuten van Niagara falls
- Abdumajidov (4/5): -
- 250nalinij (8/5): Good stay and good services - Good place to stay. Clean and nice big rooms, good staff and services
Breakfast was good
Water was not there in the room for drinking nor any water fountains
Staff was nice
- Volodymyr (3/5): -
- Lozada (7/5): -
- williamsC278GL (6/5): No Fox News on TV! - For the rate I can’t complain but it is very cheap looking in and out What I really disliked was not being able to get Fox News in the room. There were at least 100 channels but they choose to blackout 1/2 of the worlds news by not having Fox so won’t be staying at La Quinta anymore
- Sharma (8/5): -
- Florentino (4/5): - Limited parking. Doubtful staff. Dirty, smelly, bad odor coming from carpeta
- Charles (6/5): - Not the best neighborhood. Also, carpet very dirty. Breakfast was okay. Waffles, but the eggs were dehydrated. Not for us
- Luis (10/5): -
- Adrian (8/5): -
- Daniel (4/5): - It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel and the room smelled of smoke, the furniture smelled of smoke. During the night I was awoken by the smell of cigarette smoke from a nearby room.
- Karen (6/5): - Everything very limited
