• Harald (2/5): - Wir können gar keine Bewertung schreiben, da wir nicht einchecken durften, obwohl wir bereits bezahlt hatten und eine Buchungsbestätigung vorlag. Ein Tag vor Ankunft wurde eine E-Mail von mir verfasst, dass wir gegen 17:00 Uhr kommen würden, darauf wurde nicht geantwortet. Als wir 200 km vor der Unterkunft waren, haben wir dort angerufen. Der Herr am Telefon meinte, das Apartment sei geschlossen und es ist keine Buchung vorhanden. Komisch, Obwohl wir es schon bezahlt hatten und die Bestätigung schon bekommen hatten. selbst eine mail von Apartment Betreiber haben wir bekommen, darum dachten wir das passt alles. Das hieß wir da standen ohne Unterkunft, absolute Frechheit mit Gästen zu umzugehen. Diesen Anbieter würde ich keinem Empfehlen. Der Witz ist dabei ist noch, das der Betreiber uns nach dem gebuchten Zeitraum eine Mail geschickt hat ob alles okay war. Also hier stimmt etwas gewaltig nicht, ich hoffe expedia kümmert sich darum.

The owner was very response, she was in the process of harvesting a grape crop 50 miles north, but responded to my phone calls quickly, and arranged for an early morning drive to the airport on my check out.

• Charlotte (10/5): Wonderful, clean apartment - great location! - The location was excellent, walking distance to the beach. The host was great. We were even able to check in a little early, as we needed to be off our boat in the marina by 9am. She gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner and good directions to get around. The place was clean, spacious, and everything we needed.

We made reservation late, about 10 PM and when we called at 10:30 same day, she has already prepared our room. Owner let us park in driveway so car was of the street. Next day she left glasses with vine and some cherries on our outside table!!!!! She gave us maps of Dubrovnik and some very useful suggestions where to go. AMAZING.

She mentioned only 2 people can stay in 2 bedroom apartment without extra charge . She tries to get extra money for parking as well when clearly says free in my reservetation . Also she was short when she left me the change in room . This apartment is too expensive for nothing

• Dean (6/5): Not exactly as described. - Arrived 1:45pm. Check-in was at 2pm. Owner made us wait in sun until exactly 2pm. Room purchased was one bedroom apartment with partial Sea view. Owner said view had been blocked by another building. There was a washing machine in our apartment but owner said each use was an extra 10 euro. Clothesline is available but access limited by prickly bushes. Cats are everywhere.Queen bed is extremely uncomfortable with 2 single bed sheets on top. Aircon worked well and was appreciated. WiFi was weak and unreliable. Limited TV channels. Shower and bathroom very good. Unless you are a very fit walker everywhere is by taxi or bus. Bus stop is 500m and for 15 kuna p.p takes you to Old Town. Uber is active and a viable option.Uber fare to airport is 210kuna. Bear in mind Dubrovnik is full in summer and you will be lucky to find anything better in this price range.

• Darla (8/5): - Apartment is lovely and Mira, the owner/ hands-on manager, was very welcoming and helpful. It’s all been recently renovated, has a large bathroom and the air conditioning works well. The views from the 3rd floor balcony are fabulous. The only ‘negative’ is the location on a steep hill so lots of uphill walking from grocery store and taxis are hard to find. But all of Dubrovnik has steep hills! The apartment and Mira made it all ok.

• Madeleine (8/5): Great budget place near Lapad, Dubrovnik - very well-priced when we stayed there briefly (early June) - walking distance to beautiful Lapad beach and eating district though a steep walk back! older style apartment but huge with 2 toilets and balcony with water views. Owner was very helpful and lives on site too.
• Roberta (8/5): - Great location, it isn’t the nicest to walk to Old Town (35 mins) but the bus is right there if you prefer. Beach access and nearby restaurant access is good. Dubrovnik prices though. Apartment has everything we needed but bed a little hard, floors could use a good scrub but overall great for value.
• Becky (10/5): - For the price, this apartment was absolutely perfect, and massively exceeded our expectations. We had the top floor, 1 bed apartment which was more than enough for 3 adults to share, with beautiful views over the harbour (handy to see how many cruise ships are in each day). It had a large bedroom with double bed and single bed, and a double sofa bed in the lounge. We booked a transfer through direct booker (which is organised by Mira the landlady). I would definitely recommend doing this, the drivers were both lovely and they contacted Mira to let her know we were on our way, so she was ready waiting for us. She was very helpful in telling us the best places to visit and to eat. The bus stop at the end of the road goes straight to the old town, maybe a 15 minute journey, and 45 kunas for 3 of us each way (£5). A short (but steep) 10 minute walk from the apartment took us to a lovely pedestrianised area full of restaurants and bars, which then led onto a gorgeous coast of shingle beaches and rock beaches. Definitely would recommend, and would visit again.

• Darius (8/5): Dubrovnik with friends - Check in was a pain, as no office, road is On a steep hill but close to bus stop, and a medium walk to Old Town, room was nice enough and clean and owner was helpful with selling dubrovnik card, shower was quite small, and 2nd bed was very hard, but in general acceptable for the cost, free parking is a big plus as expensice around town

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Mira was fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. She offered taxi services, trips etc and recommended the discount card for Dubrovnik. I got the one day pass as it also cover use of the bus service. It covered lots of places in Old Town and saved me quite a bit of money. Will go back again and stay definitely.
• Westy (10/5): Outstanding Apartment - The apartment is very spacious. It has a balcony looking out to the hills and water. Even though it is only a block off a main street with good bus service, it is very quiet (with the exceptions of one dog that sure likes to bark). The kitchen is the best-equipped I have found in many years of renting apartments in various countries. Shops and restaurants are nearby. The only caution I would give is that it is a VERY steep walk up and down the hill to transportation and shops, which makes the distance greater than it seems. If you are not fit, you may be taking a lot of expensive taxis. The owner/host, Mira, was exceedingly helpful in getting us oriented from the first minute we arrives. She is also a delightful person to meet and talk with when she has time. She works very hard keeping the apartments in top condition.
• Sayeed (10/5): Nice apartment near the bus stop .plus point is Mi - Wonderful host Mira who was very helpful with local information and a welcoming smile. There is a nice beach about 10 minutes walk with few good restaurants.The view the terrace was breath taking.
• Sridharan (10/5): Excellent apartment at a nice location. - We had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen that helped us to make little dinner on our own. The location is just ten minutes walk away from the waterfront which has lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment also has a nice view of the mountains just outside the door. The road to approach the house is a bit tricky and only local cab drivers will know the right route. However the bus stop is just five minutes by walk from the apartment and we could reach the old town and the City Walls in a short bus ride. Overall a well furnished house that made us feel very comfortable and one that we would highly recommend.
• Fernando (10/5): Best value for your money - Excellent stay. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious apartment and easy access to public transport. I'd stay there again without a doubt.
• Wendy (10/5): Ideally located apartment - Our apartment had everything we needed. The owners are super nice and gave us a good overview of everything about the apartment, location and nearby facilities, which was extremely helpful. Very clean too.
• Mike (10/5): Nice apartment close to restaurants - We had the top floor apartment, nice view from balcony and nice comfortable apartment. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Pay as you go gym around the corner, 40kuna per session. Old town is a 30 minute walk. We went to the cinema at the end of the promenade on our last day, good value and all the big movies are in English, best to ask if planning on seeing a cartoon though.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic apartment, keep in mind it is not a hotel, the owner (Mira ) lives next door and is attentive to all your needs. Has a kitchenette two individual beds that can be converted into a big bed and a folding bed. Everything needed is there, LOcation is good, nice family neighborhood, great views!! The buses are within 1 min walking, it runs every 10 minutes until midnight and from the city center back until 1 am, the beach is 10 min walking up and you have great restaurants and shopping within 5 min walk. I totally loved it. The son in law took me to the airport for 35 euros( what is usually charged) . Again place amazing Mira the owner fabulous , definitely will go back with them.
• RB (10/5): Fantastic Apartment - My missus and I stayed here for 2 nights and found this apartment quite convenient and wonderful. It was light and airy, easily accessible by road and very close to the bus stop (you can hop on to see the fantastic old city of Dubrovnik). We were welcomed by the owner who was quite warm and friendly. It was like a home away from home. We highly recommend this place.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great hospitality and view - I arrived to this hotel by feeling welcomed by the owner, she's such a great landlord, she explained about everything in the house, as well as how to get to the city, besides that she also offers beverages as well as airport transfer. Ira helped a lot during our stay here, even though we supposed to check in early in morning, because we used her airport transfer service, she gave us another apartment for us to refresh ourselves because or flight during the night. I would love to come here again and stay here. very much recommended.
• CR (10/5): Clean, comfortable, convenient location - The apartment is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. It is in a nice quiet location but easy to get to beach, shops and town. The absolute jewel though is Mira who runs the apartments. She was so helpful to us, offering advice, arranging transport etc. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Next time I go back to Dubrovnik I will definitely stay here.
• Kerstin (10/5): Comfortable, clean, very welcoming apartment - This lovely apartment was located 10 minutes away from everything: beaches, amenities, culture and style! We loved the experience and were welcomed by the owner with open hearts and many lovely suggestions about what to do and where to go. She recommended a quiet beach which became our reading, swimming and relaxing spot on those hot July days. The whole Old City was explored during the evenings and really came alive at night! We always felt safe as our eyes zoomed around taking in all the sites and beauty Croatia has to offer. This has been a very beautiful trip.
