Thankfully the bedding itself was nice and clean. However, the property and surrounding area were very quiet and the staff at the front desk was incredibly friendly and accomodating. I did not realize the check-in area was attached to a church when booking, in case this matters to others.

Alexander (10/5): - Came here for a wedding and we stayed 4 nights at this location. When we got to the room it was nice and clean, the beds are really comfortable! There is a mini fridge, microwave, 4 complimentary waters and coffee. It was very quiet at night and had no disturbances. Would stay here again!

Rosa (10/5): - In town for a family wedding at Diamond Woods Golf Course, the motel was very clean, beds are comfortable and fluffy, and our rooms had views of the river. It was peaceful. They allowed us an early check in due to the wedding start time. Front desk staff is very welcoming and friendly.

JAMES (10/5): Gym - The area was out of the Eugene city limits as all the other hotels were much more expensive and I don't know why but they were charging excessive amounts pass because of a football game and they have a shortage of hotels the prices were ridiculous in town this hotel seemed to be a good valiant look clean from the pictures upon arriving the facility had AA church in the front and was a little bit confusing as we drove a 100 yd in and and finally found the hotel which is behind the church the lobby seemed large and the attendant seem very friendly there was no breakfast buffet but they did serve coffee but that only opened at 8:00 a.m. the Room itself was very large they did have elevator we arrived at night and looking at the pictures from the reviews it showed AM very scenic area but we could not see it in the evening the Room was large and comfortable I found that the bed was very a soft and very good

The tv did not work and worst of all when we came in from the evening there was NO hot water to shower. There was no help at the facility to ask help for the problems. In the morning we told the front desk person and his response was that was to bad.

The room was quiet and the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Great diner (99 Grill) in town.

AaronB. (6/5): - Clean and Quiet. But missing the little things... You can see that the owners are slowly upgrading still. For example the bathroom area had nice new countertops. But in the deluxe king room itself there was a table with one chair. No other place to sit other than the bed. The nightstands come with no extra sockets for charging (they need to consider those lamps with sockets on the base and USB plugs). Finally the heating and cooling unit cycles on and off for just a minute at a time... we just had to turn ours off to stop the annoyance. Overall: On the right path. But you won't find the necessities that a traveller in 2019 would expect.

Verified traveler (6/5): Reasonably clean room with average service. - This was a reasonable lodging choice for the price, though it was a longer drive to Eugene than we would have wished as we had to drive there daily. The service could have been better. We didn't consistently get coffee replaced each day and once our room wasn't cleaned within a timeframe we felt reasonable after putting out the "service please" sign. As a result, we had to skip the cleaning that day.

Crystal (8/5): Nice, clean hotel with lovely staff - We were in town for a family memorial and stayed here because of the quiet area and scenery. The hotel is part of a large church as others have said. The lobby actually connects with the church and classrooms, etc. That being said, the staff was beyond lovely and accommodating and at no point is religion shoved in your face. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The walls are a bit thin though so you will hear your neighbors. The pool and spa is quite nice with fantastic views of the river running behind the property.

My main complaint is that it is part of a huge Christian church called Life Bible Church and I had no idea when I booked it on Hotels.com. They don’t give any indication in the description or the photos that it is part of a Christian church. Personally, the setting made me feel uncomfortable. My second complaint is the town of Harrisburg itself. At least it is close to Eugene but there is not much around and it appears to be a very religious and patriotic town which turns me off. I must say that the people who work at Life Northwest Lodge are very friendly and accommodating and the place is very clean. The room that my son and I shared was the most comfortable room we stayed in for the entire week we spent in Oregon. It is right next to the river which is very pleasant although there is a huge fence separating the property from the river so there is no access which I found kind of lame. Overall I would suggest saying here if you’re not uncomfortable with blatant Christianity in your face.

HomeProTechs (10/5): Nice, Nice Surprise - This is a wonderful place to stay if you require: comfort, cleanliness, safe environment, a place to park without feeling like you have to check on your car, and a courteous staff. You’ll drive a mile or so for dining, but so, so worth it. I’ll be going back!
Verified traveler (2/5): - IT IS A CHURCH IN DISGUISE! No where in the listing does it say anything about being connected to a church! Nothing against religion, but be upfront about it!! We cancelled the reservation and did not stay.
gregory (10/5): This Walls, However still nice. - The room was nice and big. They were not cheep on the water and coffee. Meaning we had 4 cups of coffee in our room in the morning. Some hotels only give you one. Thin Walls is my only issue, offer ear plugs as well. We could hear people Talking and making whoopie.

Its on the grounds of a church, so it feels so peaceful not a party place. Beautiful river view , staff member Kim was so helpful and friendly. Will be staying here again for sure.
George (8/5): Hard to find in the dark but absolutely beautiful - First, a warning. If your arriving in Harrisburg at night, there are no street lights. In the dark it is very hard to see street signs. This hotel is not in town and it is not easy to find in the dark. Additionally, there is no restaurant on-site. So, if you need to eat you will have to go back to the town of Harrisburg to find a restaurant. That said. it is a beautiful area and the hotel is on the Willamette river.

Shelley (8/5): Interesting and Unexpected - It is not clear from the posting on Expedia that this "hotel" is actually a Bible Church retreat center, so that part was unexpected. That being said, the staff was accommodating and pleasant, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is lovely on the Willamette River, and the grounds have a pool (seasonally open) and hot tub (year round). It's a little bit out of the way, but for the price it cannot be beat. A very good value.

Upon asking if we could go in the hot tub prior to it opening the staff quickly opened it for us. We requested more linens and they were spot on. Genuinely asked if we needed anything else, about our trip etc. Situated on the river which was nice. Harrisburg is a quaint little town close enough to Eugene but away from the hustle.

Also refilled the coffee basket which was great but didn't check the little creamers so we needed more regular ones. The hotels.com website says a 24 hour desk but after 11pm you need to call a number because it is not a manned desk.

Verified traveler (8/5): Needs updating - I think it's time for this inn to go through all of its rooms and check all the remote batteries, phones, and coffee makers. None of these worked during our visit. Also, I think the mattresses could be replaced with more comfortable ones. Overall we like this place, but our visit last year was a bit better. Time for an update.
nicole (10/5): Right next to the river!! - We had a softball tournament in Junction City and when I searched hotels.com this hotel was on the list. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this little gem tucked away next to a river. The rooms are big and spacious with more amenities than you could ask for. Coffee maker complementary waters (no one does that but they did) small fridge and microwave all for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for something off the beaten path and just want to get away this was perfect. The pool and jacuzzi are just steps from your room and a beautiful river flows right by you. Junction City is just a few minutes down the way with a Safeway and a Starbucks and inexpensive gas. It was the perfect stay for us I hope you enjoy as well.

The balcony has many cobwebs, but considering the mosquitoes outside, one wouldn't venture outside to sit in the balcony. Overall, nice place to sleep in while travelling. Would recommend to friends who need it specifically for this purpose.

I booked this hotel based on the pervious good reviews and it seemed fit my need perfectly ok. I was not disappointed. Pros: Friendly staff. Room is very clean. Very quiet environment Cons: A bit far away from high way.

Verified traveler (6/5): Beware of overcharging! - I was overcharged for my stay! I booked through Expedia only to stay overnight on my way back from Seattle. The rate I was charged was higher than what my reservation showed. I informed the staff and was told this was going to be corrected. She said I was going to be getting a credit back. Initially I did but then I was charged again for the "credit". I never had this type of issue before, also upon checking out I was told my reservation was for two nights. However, my email confirmation clearly showed just one night. I do not recommend staying at this hotel since they did not honor the reservation rate. I rarely do reviews, but I felt the need to do it this time, they can keep the extra money if they want but I am sure no one appreciates false advertising.
