• Rafayel (6/5): - Decent location, grounds and the pool look great, rooms are extremely outdated, brings you back a few decades. If you are on a budget, it is totally fine, but if you do not spending more, I’d stay somewhere else for a little bit more comfort & nicer atmosphere.

• Richard (10/5): - Fantastic place for families, lovely little garden to have lunch and barbeques just outside the pool. Very well set out and spacious property, air con, everything you need. In a great spot for exploring Algarve, we loved the local beaches which were all beautiful and less than a 20 min walk from the villas. Friendly service too! Would absolutely stay again which we don't say often 😊
• Amy Louise (10/5): - We have just returned from a last minute booking to Villas Joinal. It was our first holiday in a communal area, my son has special needs so we tend to book a villa in a rural area. He can struggle with noise, and uses sign language to communicate. I am very surprised at how well this trip went, its a small complex of 12 Villas. VERY quiet! He used the pool for hours on end and it never got crowded. Plenty of sunbeds. A little play park too. The Villa was fully equipped - (we have to cook foods from home mainly so the oven was a must). Washing machine also useful and used daily! Air Con was brilliant and saved our life (super hot temps this week). We hired a car as we like to get about, but a few families i spoke to said they had just used taxis for ease, you are close to pretty much everything so it was a cheap option for them. Very clean Villas, a little dated but we werent looking for luxury. Communication was good throughout - i asked many questions to fit my sons needs!! Swimming pool says 9am-7pm but reception did email me when i asked, and they said as long as we werent disturbing anybody then there werent restrictions as such. My son had a few early morning quiet swims on the days he needed that movement to start the day! Already planning our return and inviting all the family! Brilliant find! Thank you 💓
• Lucy (10/5): - Great stay - peaceful and quiet, well equipped and a lovely pool, 15 min wlak to beach, 10 min wlak to spar and easy access via Uber to albufeira town. Nice restaurants nearby and able to bbq.
• Elena (6/5): - Good, decent size apartment with great outdoors and good overall amenities. Was not impressed with being asked to check in 2 hours late after a very long /tiring trip from Canada. A/C unit in main bedroom wasn’t working during our 10 days stay and they weren’t able to get it serviced. Kitchen had foul smell. Everything else was acceptable.

• ryan (10/5): - The villa was lovely and in a really nice area. There are some building works going on at other villas in the area so driving to and from was sometimes a pain but overall no noise and wouldn't know they are there unless you saw them. Villa itself was lovely and had everything you need. Personally believe some of the equipment bathrooms could be updated but it's the basics and covers everything you need for a lovely family time away. Baby gates at bottom and top of the stairs and plenty of room throughout the villa. Pools were perfect and never too busy, little one loved splashing around and playing in the park.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay ! - Located away from Albufeira town but close enough to get to by car or taxi. Beach 15 min walk , nearest supermarket 10 min walk, Zoomarine 15 min drive. If using the BBQ remember to buy charcoal and lighter fuel. We didn’t hire a car but used UBER which worked well for us. The appliances all work well including the air con in bedrooms but no air con in the living room. Great sports bar and a pizza restaurant all within a 2 min walk of Villa.
• Kim (10/5): obrigado Villas Joinal - The last three nights of our Portugal trip were at Villas Joinal. To be honest we didn’t know what to expect as the price was so much cheaper than anything else we’d looked at. We needn’t have worried. The villas are clean tidy well maintained and had everything you could possibly need. The decor was lovely throughout although the bathrooms looked a little tired and could maybe do with a facelift. Saying that they were clean with plenty of towels etc. the outside patio was great for lounging, it even had a BBQ and was just steps away from a fantastic pool area. We were surprised by the size of the pool it was huge! Plenty of sun loungers and even a play area for the kids. The surrounding area has plenty of bars and restaurant. The beach at Gale was amazing. You are only minutes away from Albufeira and the port. There is plenty to see and do. The only negatives…..a rather huge dog in a neighbouring property who liked the sound of his own bark and the noise that can be heard from other guests if they decide to play their music at full volume, thankfully it was only on one afternoon and it didn’t go on for too long! All in all a lovely place to stay….
• Maria (8/5): Not too miss villa - Easy to find and communication good from reception especially for our very late check in. Very clean throughout the villa and the grounds well maintained including a couple of pools and a children’s play area. Everything you need is in the villa including plenty of towels and sun loungers. This is not the place if you want high end luxury but for the price I wouldn’t expect it. I would definitely return and recommend.
• tymon (10/5): - Great place. We were sorry to leave. Swimming pool is shared between 12 villas but it was mostly empty. Little bit far away from shops or attractions but taxi to Albufeira is around 8 quid, airport connection was provided by most beautiful women Ive seen in Portugal and its around 50 quid. Id suggest renting car anyways. Great BBQ, clean, tidy. Living room furniture a bit old fashioned but beds are very comfy. My roommate was snoring so loud but I found camp-bed in wardrobe and moved to another room. Villas are very spacious. Kitchen very well equipped. Great option for the money. Contact with host 10/10, nice and friendly.

The villa was a lot bigger than expected and had everything you need, we arrived late as our flight was delayed ans reception made sure we had instructions for getting into our villa, it was so easy, thank you.

Very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine) with private space at the back of the house, including a BBQ which we used almost every night and which was cleaned every morning. Only 12 dwellings in all which made it feel quite exclusive and calm. Great location. Would highly recommend.
• Malcolm (8/5): Brilliant secluded villas - Quiet location,perfect for relaxation and getting away from it all. Would advise car hire to get about. But overall we had a brilliant 2weeks staying in our wee villa definitely will be back. Also the staff/cleaners were all excellent and helped every way they could.

Little extras like parasol for beach, coffee filter machine, lovely crockery, plentiful cutlery, bbq built out back etc would make this accommodation perfect for families or two couples.

Although we had no children with us I could see it would be ideal as complex enclosed and children could easily be seen at the pool from the apartments. Outdoor space to relax fully equipped with recliners and table and chairs. Eating out places within walking distance and small beach 1 mile away...steep climb back up though. Ideally a car would be useful to carry food / bottled water from shop and visit other small beautiful beaches or be prepared to get a taxi. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

They had cleaners in every other day which for self catering is very rare in my experience. The office which was on the complex, staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. All in all an excellent property
• Bruce (10/5): Just a great place - This is the second time we have stayed Villas Joinal and wouldnt hesitate about staying in the future, it's in a quiet area 10 minute walk from a nice wee beach, 5 minutes away from bus stop that takes you into Albufeira for the night life. The accomadation is clean and spacious and your own garden area with sunbeds and a big enough pool for a swim.

• Rachel (10/5): Great Stay - Well presented apartment with everything we required.Great Kitchen facilities as we do most cooking at home.The complex is very small which is great and due to the time of year there were only a couple of other apartments occupied.Decent sized swimming pool directly out of the apartment.Quiet surroundings but easy to get around from by foot or by fairly inexpensive taxi.Very good wi-fi at all times.
• Vicky (10/5): Nice villa in beautiful surroundings - Perfect holiday site within very pretty surroundings all within a stones throw of the large pool. The lounge and bedroom furniture was quite outdated but we were only around to sleep and make use of the pool most of the time. We did have some grumpy neighbours a few villas down who complained that we were making too much noise talking whilst sat in the garden, this was at 10.30 in the evening! hardly late and we weren't making much noise, but there were only 4 or 5 villas occupied during our stay so it was otherwise very peaceful. There were some beautiful beaches a very short drive away and with shops and restaurants just around the corner this was a perfect location and base for a holiday. We will definitely return here again.

• julie (8/5): Lovely villa if you want a very quiet holiday - Was just what we were needing , very quiet only private villas around about so a little walk to get anywhere. Short walk to bus stop , short walk to pub, restaurant, not foe everyone but we loved it , 5 mins in taxi to albufera.
• Daniel (8/5): - Good size accommodation, nice grounds and great swimming pool area, good for families but as with all properties in this area you really need a car to make the most of the region and the local beaches etc. Note to the management - please ensure the cleaners double lock the front door after cleaning the apartment, other than that the accommodation has nice and secure doors and shutters.
• simon (4/5): Very disappointing - First day there 200 Euro was stolen from purse in room when we went out for walk in afternoon room was locked up we reported to reception but she wasn't interested. Wasn't cleaned very well the rooms cleans took less than 2 minutes to complete. Last day when we needed check out was no where leave suit cases cuz we didn't need set off airport until 1.30 pm we ask reception she said her day off would have walk up to bar nearby and wait no help at all when 2 of our travellers were disabled. Probably worse place ive never stayed

• william (8/5): Nice apartment, quiet location, clean and tidy. - Good quiet location, good sized pool. Everything is clean. The apartment is quiet large, with two bedrooms, kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, good sized living room and a bathroom with shower, both down stairs and up stairs. It has its own private patio area out the back to sit or lie in the sun. You access it through the patio doors in the living room. Out the back is the swimming pool, which has plenty of room around it to lie in the sun. There is a Spar shop 10 mins walk from the apartment. There is plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. The beach is a good 15 min walk from the beach. We had a hire car which I would recommend, as it suits the location perfectly. But if your on a tight budget, you can walk to everything.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Highly recommended for a quieter peaceful stay - The accommodation was fantastic, and if anything better than I expected. It's clean, not remotely over crowded (the outside pool area is generous for the number of guests) and a pleasant peaceful environment. My only criticism is that it is more isolated than expected. That said, taxis are extremely cheap, and there are a few places within walking distance. The wider area of Albufeira has so many options and is ideal for young families.

• C (10/5): Excellent Hotel, Great trip - would recommend - Excellent hotel, extremely clean and everything to a high standard. Kitchen looked like it had been put in very recently, included everything you needed washing machine, microwave, coffee maker etc. Perfect for families, included stair gates at both bottom and top of stairs. We stayed in villa number 5 which over looked the pool, but all villas have good locations. It was really nice to have a BBQ, we used it most nights. Staff very helpful. Great trip, and would recommend to friends and family.
