love the ability to park right in front of door (it was raining!)
- Bruce (8/5): -
- Cynthia (3/5): Clean but not comfy - Cleanliness Bed and no actual chair to sit in. Only high stools.
- Francis (9/5): - Very clean rooms and friendly staff The bed and pillows were uncomfortable
- Bradley (8/5): All very good - Was not given WiFi password when checking in Hand WiFi password with key
- Christine (10/5): -

- Tammy (9/5): Quiet and clean and comfortable. - Clean. Large room. Bigger fridge/freezer (not a cube fridge). In-room eating area. Comfortable bed & pillows. Friendly staff. Easy access. Can't think of anything other than a bit overpriced for off-season.

- Karen (5/5): Overpriced - The management is in the process of attempting to upgrade/redesign the motel. I understand that and applaud their efforts. The staff I spoke with were very friendly and honest about the room. I appreciated that. The cost of the 2 bed room was way too high. Well over $220 for a simple room. The bathroom had been renovated but they mounted the mirror so high that I could barely see the top of my head. My 6' 1" husband barely got to see his whole neck. They really need some advice from a designer on how to place the furniture, too. It's too bad since someone is sinking a lot of money and effort into this place. The price of the room should have been around $125 tops.

- Greg (8/5): Clean room and a good night sleep for a reasonable price. - Value of a reasonable price for a clean and spacious room. No issues. A bare-bones experience but a good night sleep. Dunkin Donuts is next door so although breakfast wasn’t included, it couldn’t have been any easier to get something there.
- Shawna (10/5): Staff was friendly, facilities were clean. Very quite and comfortable. - Not applicable Not applicable
- GARY (10/5): - nice clean and quiet
- Pam (10/5): - Perfect
- Amber (10/5): - Cute, quiet location. Near major landmarks and tons of sightseeing. Everyone we interacted with in Bucksport was amazing. Will definitely be back
- Didier (8/5): - Localisation Pas de petit déjeuner, c’est dommage vu le prix de la chambre.
- Shabnam Karimi (8/5): - Room was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. Staff was nice! The only complaints were the bathroom vanity mirror was strangely highly placed. I’m 5’4 and I couldn’t see myself while washing my face + the pillows were rather uncomfortable. Aside from that the hotel was great and exactly as described.
- Kathleen (9/5): The Bucksport Inn worked well for our needs. - There was no breakfast. The room was very clean and the location was perfect for our needs The room was too warm and we couldn't open a window.
- Scott (10/5): - The room itself was clean and comfortable. Staff was very polite and of course Lucy the mascot was also a joy.would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Arcadia or surrounding areas. I would though like to see bottled water so I could make a cup of coffee.
- Sharon (10/5): -
Occorre prestare molta attenzione.
- mark (10/5): - Cute retro motel with very friendly and nice owners.
- Alan (9/5): -
- Marlee (10/5): - Room was very nice. Recently refurbished.
- Kenny (10/5): One of the cleanest and best for the money. - It was very retro and had an authentic key. Super clean, great value, location. The shower felt small because they had straight shower rods instead of the curved one.
- Scott (9/5): Good value, clean, spacious and comfortable - Spacious clean and comfortable room with lovely big bed. Newly renovated. Would be nice to have a tidy outdoor area at the rear
- Barry (10/5): - This was an outstanding property. Pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room. Decorated so nice and it was so clean. Loved the mini fridge. Would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
- Daniel (10/5): Bucksport Gem - A nice property conveniently located to explore the area. Friendly staff and clean rooms. We walked to the Verano Wine and Bistro for live music and tasty small plates. Close to Fort Knox and the observatory. A pleasant place to stay.
- Lana (4/5): - The place is old and overpriced and we did not receive the advertised breakfast. No apologies or compensation.
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Mary (10/5): - Staff was so friendly room was very clean.
- Denise (8/5): - Clean, neat and accessible The cost of the room I thought was quite high.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Very clean!
- Cyril (6/5): - Motel simple, joli extérieur à l'arrière
- David (10/5): If you stay here once you will definitely stay again. Just don't take my room. - The location was ideal. Besides all of the options right in Bucksport you can get just about everywhere in a short drive. There was never too much traffic and you even have a Dunkin in the front of your parking lot. The wifi was great for working and surfing but not as strong for some streaming services. We didn't visit to watch tv in the room so it really wasn't a big deal.

- Margaret (10/5): Loved it and would definitely stay here again! - Really nice decor and very fresh and clean! Plus the bed was super comfortable! Best nights sleep of our trip!
- Darlene (9/5): Great experience, would recommend to anyone staying in that area - Attractive & comfortable room, staff was very helpful & friendly.
- Kimberly (8/5): - The bed and bathroom areas were spacious and clean. The outside sitting area was very nice with the chair groupings and games. The room had a slight smell of pets in one section.
- Diana (10/5): -
- Edward (8/5): - Comfortable, clean and quite.
- Kathy (10/5): We were in Bucksport to visit my brother and his family (children and grandchildren).Bucksport Inn was very convenient, - It was very clean. Great location. Small, homey feel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. The bathroom door was a little awkward due to space.
- Clifton (7/5): Overall a nice place. - Price was better than other available motels in the area (last minute booking). Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The back yard was very nice especially Hugo’s Way path which provided a short nature walk behind the property (look for the log cabin bird houses along the way). My wife said that the mattress was too hard making it difficult for her to sleep. Also the A/C in our room didn’t work very well.
- Henry (8/5): Very nice motel! - Very clean and comfortable room. The motel is well located for driving around the coast and quickly getting to Acadia and the Deer Isle area.
- Conrad B. (10/5): - Well kept, clean, everything you need is right there, & friendly.
- Kristy (9/5): Superb - Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Perfect location for the distance I had to travel. The fridge was petite, yet Exceptionally efficient and suitable. I wish the website explained the size and function, for instance, "Each room has a small pod coffee maker" instead of a "coffee maker" I bring my own coffee and creamer traveling but could not brew it because it is a pod. I would have brought my coffee maker had I known.
Honestly that is my only complaint, it was truly an exceptional stay and I will return next year. Recommend to all.
- Jolene (10/5): The Bucksport Inn is a great place to stay when visiting the area. - It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The room was attractive and updated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing!
- Julie (9/5): great place in transit from PEI to Boston - There was no breakfast. It is right next to a dunkin donut Bucksport lacks for dining options
- Christine (10/5): - Perfect stop on way home from Canada
- Kevin (7/5): Good -
- Aaron (10/5): - The staff here, the cleanliness, and the area are what brings us back. They are the only place we stay when we're in Bucksport.
- Eugene (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (10/5): - Friendly staff. Shower is hot and strong. Clean. Convenient to tourist activities.
- MELISSA (10/5): - great room. beautiful area. got in late but it was no big deal they left what we needed in the room.
- Tim (9/5): Superb - Being able to park in front of my room. The central location to my activities. The outside grounds, chairs, tables, fire pit, BBQ grills. No access to the ice machine before we left each morning.
- Angela (10/5): Good value - It was very clean and close to the college No handicap rooms however it was extremely clean and the staff was great. I would go back there in the future if needed
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Debbie (10/5): - Very considerate staff and accommodateing. Great expeience. Thank you.
- Kelli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marion (10/5): Exceptional - The location Needed a sm table.not a bar
- BRIAN (6/5): - Great
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary Beth (10/5): Excellent value for the money - We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine.
Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place.
I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring.
The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality.
- Peggy (10/5): - Clean and so friendly. Great location for many things including my son’s college. Very helpful when I arrived late and had to leave before daylight. Very accommodating and worked with my flight schedule.
- Dorothy (9/5): Superb -
- Joshua (8/5): Very good - Very nice hotel. Made travel to see family for the holidays nice as the price was better than most air BNB and very comfortable
- Bonnie (10/5): Quaint - Wonderful, quaint “motel” lodging. Very well maintained.
- Rachel (8/5): - If you want a cute place to stay with a homelike feel this is the place.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathie (7/5): It was over-priced in my opinion. - Quite dated but clean and staff helpful and friendly. A bit pricey for what you got. Good location across from a Hannafords and next to a Dunkin’ Donuts. The town is in need of a refresh and attractions and restaurants need updating as well. The town is just tired. Nice enough but plain.
- Paul (10/5): Nice place to stay in Maine - Very clean and furnished nicely, comfortable bed, bathroom was large. Had a small table and two chairs along with fridge and micro wave & single coffee maker. Convenient location, easy to find. Shower/ tub was narrow and I'm a big guy, a walk in would be nice
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viet (9/5): Superb -
- Miechi (8/5): Very clean, a good price to access Acadia in October, leaf peeping season. - Very neat and tidy. Motel conveniently located. In-room amenities were nice. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee. Easy drive Mt Desert Island. No continental breakfast
- Jamie (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and well maintained. The facility has a large open space in the back and provides fire pit and other amenities for the guests to use. Since we were traveling with a small dog, we stayed on the bottom floor. The insulation between the floors were pretty bad that we could hear the noise from upstairs very clearly and got worse at night.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Convenient, clean, and cute! - Booked this hotel out of necessity because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour in Castine (also highly recommend) and the Bucksport Inn just happened to be conveniently located. So glad we did!
First, the service was exceptional. They called us the morning of our reservation to inform us that the TV in our room was broken, but to offer a different type of room (2 queens vs a king). We declined because we didnt care about the TV. Not only was I impressed with their kind communication, but upon check out they informed us they took 10% off our bill for the inconvenience.
As to the inn itself, I love it. It's the kind of classic motor lodge you'd seen in old movies, except beautifully maintained and updated. I love that the rooms feel new and clean, but maintain their old charm. From the physical key to your room, to the mercifully untouched bathrooms which have what appears to be the original tile and fixtures, but are all sparkling clean.
Highly recommend!
- Sheila (10/5): - Nice place to stay away from Bar Harbour crowds.
- James (10/5): - Well maintained and quiet location.
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional - Very meticulously cleaned and comfortable.
- Laura (8/5): - Good basic motel, clean and comfortable and friendly staff
- Cherie (10/5): Great Stay! - The Inn is very cute. It was extremely clean. The service was fabulous. It was very conveniently located for our trip to visit our daughter at MMA.
- Connie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Bucksport Stay - The Bucksport Inn is a clean, friendly place to stay. We ended up staying an extra night.
- Karen (10/5): I would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends - I was expressed by the cleanliness
- Alexandra (9/5): Spotless motel with lots of charm - The room was very clean and everything was very well maintained. We loved the sightly retro feel to the place and appreciated the small touches like the hanging flower baskets. Would definitely stay here again!
- Eric (10/5): - Nice comfortable spot.
