- Wilma (8/5): hotel was in walking distance of the venue we were attending - found the hotel easily, check in was seamless and staff friendly and had a wonderful view of the waves rolling in Everything was fine, we were on 1st floor so using the stairs was ok for us

- Kelly (1/5): - There really wasn't anything to like The hotel wasn't clean. The sink plughole was full of mold. The shower was way to small, I had to literally get out to apply soap/shampoo etc and then get back in to try and rinse it off. The rooms were freezing, my daughter slept fully clothed. To top it all off (we found out before we left) the main entrance had been broken a while ago and was only held by a few tiny screws. Somebody broke the very unsecure door and proceeded to kick our room door off the door frame while we slept, waking us and frightening us for our lives. The police said they had a theory but was waiting for CCTV as the monitor "wasn't working". Sunny Days offered us another room but we didn't feel safe, so they sent us to their sister hotel Canasta on north shore. This was just as bad with a drunk manager, no hot water, faulty loos and no towels or loo roll. We had to pay for another hotel as booking.com and the hotel both refused a refund due to the other party being responsible for the refund. This will be explained to trading standards when we return home.

Having to pay to park.. we come every year and this is the first time they charge there guess even when we paid for rooms we didn’t even use we paid for 4 rooms and took 3 cars so an extra £30 and we didn’t end up using 1 of the rooms

- HARPREET (1/5): Not suitable place for family - Nothing as such This stay was wholly unacceptable and unsafe. The room was unfit for occupation due to a significant gap in the window, allowing continuous cold air to enter the room. The heating system operates on a restricted timer and does not function overnight, causing the room temperature to drop to unsafe levels. We were staying as a family with multiple children, one of whom was shivering from the cold and unable to sleep. This situation posed a clear health and safety risk to children and represents a serious failure of the hotel’s duty of care to provide safe, habitable accommodation. The issue was reported to the lady at reception, however we were informed that nothing could be done and that there were no alternative rooms available to move us to. Despite being made fully aware of the risk to children, no solution or support was offered. During the night, there was no staff available at reception, making it impossible to seek further assistance. The contact number provided on Booking.com did not work, and multiple messages sent through the Booking.com app received no response. As a direct result of these unsafe conditions and lack of action, we were forced to check out after just 1 night, despite having booked and paid for a 2-night stay. This decision was taken solely to protect the health and wellbeing of our children. This experience constitutes a serious breach of basic accommodation and health & safety standards. I would strongly advise families, particularly those with children, to avoid this property. This matter will be escalated further with the booking platform.

- Mart87 (3/5): A bit forgotten place but in first line of seafront - + Location + Easy check-in/out + Close to Grocery shops, McDonald's and Pub - Very outdated and basically run down place - quite dangerous floors & stairs conditions throughout whole building - no remote control to the telly which cause problems with switching on the device - very limited coffee & tea - water condensation inside windows - scruffy looking (but very helpful and polite we need to admit!) staff

I got told if I cancelled through booking.com a manager would authorise it asap and it’s now 2 days later and still no refund, even though we had to then pay for another hotel

No hand towels etc in bathroom and ones that were there were rusty. Booked 2 rooms and would assume they would be close together but were not. There was leaking water from the roof from somewhere and staff knocking on our doors at night asking if we are having a shower which we wasn't and there was no hot water.
- Courtney Jaide (3/5): Very Disappointed. - The location was good. The location of the rooms were up very steep stairs, the carpets were old and ripped, the handrails were dirty and sticky. The rooms smelt damp and musty. I had to open all of the windows and buy an air freshener from the local shop to spray in our room. There was a hidden fee for parking, which we were unaware of before arriving. When we arrived, the staff were gossiping about other customers which was not respectful. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

The room was cold there was limited heating not great when it had rained and we were soaked through. Wow she really took to the elderly lady here in fact I think that much she would of stayed there with her . But both the ladies made it so good for the children while it was really bad weather outside the sat happy colouring and reading can't wait to go back . Definitely a credit to this hotel them 2. Rooms was lovely and clean as well.

- Linda (7/5): Good value. - The room is basic and was good value for a short stay. The room was clean, the shower/toilet room were clean and there was clean white bedding on the beds. However, it would of been good to of had a couple of spare blankets in the room. The quilts on the beds were a little thin being summer quilts and it did get chilly during the night, so spare blankets would be helpful. Staff were friendly and helpful It would of been helpful to have had a couple of spare blankets in the room, as they were only thin summer quilts on the beds. It did get chilly during the night making it difficult to sleep. Could of done with a hand towel for the bathroom and also bath mat for outside the shower.

First visit was good so decided to stay again. however, after contacting to ask about parking up early prior to check in to make the most of our visit and this being agreed, on arrival there was no staff in the property to pay the parking and even after ringing the number on the door and advising our arrival and providing car details on voicemail( this was also done online pre travel) we returned to check in to a parking ticket ? Considering this hotel advertises parking onsite we were shocked to find out it was not their carpark even though they charge guests to park( which we would have paid had someone have been there ) ?? This should be advertised on the site. The staff member was rude and said it wasn’t her problem.

I did see a few people on reviews and while we were there complain about thw parking charge. But not many places cheaper to stay in blackpool and the car was right outside and safe so we didnt mind at all. Thankyou very much. Only issue we had was the shelving units in the bathroom were slightly loose. Which wasn't an issue as we could still use them but just a pre warning incase someone else complains as I forgot to mention while we were there. And the pillows are very thin. Although they did allow us an extra 2 pillows while we were staying as we asked and they very kindly gave us 2 extra pillows. Other than that great stay

- Mark (3/5): Poor - Poor but staff were pleasant I was only person in hotel majority of the time and no facilities were there bar closed and kitchen closed
