- Assaf (8/5): Very good - I ordered a taxi driver through the hotel for five o'clock in the morning, a driver arrived completely exhausted, drove 20 km/h the whole way and he fell asleep several times on the way, I had to wake him up all the time because he fell asleep and deviated from the lane very dangerous

We liked the sushi restaurant (sushi rolls and nigiri) and breakfast. 15 min Didi ride to Teng Wang Pavilion, the major sight in the area. Has gym and spa options as well, and also just 30 min by car from train station.

- liyanphoto (10/5): One of the best Sheraton experience ever. - Sheraton Nanchang Hotel is centrally located in Nanchang, walking distance to the riverside. Beautiful river view at night. The staffs were incredibly helpful, especially front desk staff Linda Li and manager Eilian Tian, they helped me a lot during my stay. The hotel provided lots of efforts to keep the guests safe during the American Virus (COVID-19) period, like the breakfast buffet and happy hour dinner were changed to a set menu, but I gotta say, the food is great, absolutely one of the best Sheraton experience.
- Hotel_Inspector_HK (8/5): Great stay - Good hotel. Happy stay of five nights. Hotel is well located and provides good service. Room is clean and comfortable. Lobby has a small bar area for pre-dinner drinks and staff are polite and efficient. Breakfast is in a restaurant adjacent to the main lobby and has a good range of food. Concierge was helpful in arranging purchase of hi-speed rail tickets. There's a nearby metro entrance and (at the time I stayed) a new entrance was under construction just to the left of the hotel entrance. There are a few shopping malls nearby which have branded food outlets such as Starbucks, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Subway etc. Reommend the mall directly across the street where there is a bookstore with coffee shop for a relaxing brew. Recommend an evening walk along the river where the city has created a literary park featuring engraved stone blocks with texts by renown writers and philosphers from the region, as well as an outdoor sculpture museum depicting local life through the years. Nanchang is a very comfortable and pleasant city to visit.

The breakfast buffet was good, and I was happy with offerings. Most helpful were the directions I received in the club lounge on ways of going to the DaJue Mountain Scenic Area. Enjoyed relaxing in the club lounge from a seat with great river views.

- chengs01 (10/5): A sense of home - I have been staying in Sheraton Nanchang for more than 10 times. As a platinum member, I was upgraded to river view room at the club floor. While checkin me in, Ella introduced me to the Exec Chef, Mr.Lim, who happened to be a fellow Malaysian. During our chat, I mentioned how I missed Malaysia food. Mr Lim immediately offered to cook Bak Kut Teh for me for dinner. It was so goooood! For the next few days, Mr Lim surprised me with various local delicacy, such as Nasi Lemak w/ flavorful curry chicken, mouthwatering Fried Shrimp with cereal, fried rice noodle with salted egg. I never thought I would say this, but I really hope I can stay longer in Sheraton Nanchang. As usual, the staff at Sheraton are always friendly and eager to make me feel at home. Every morning when I go for breakfast, they always bring me latte without me asking. Also, looks like Sheraton upgraded their wifi network recently, it was screaming fast compared to my previous stays. I traveled a lot and have stayed in numerous Marriott hotels, such as St Regis, Ritz Carlton, W, Westin and etc. However, Sheraton Nanchang always gives me a sense of home. I really look forward to go back and enjoy whatever Mr Lim can offer, because I know it will be fantastic!

- KenK646 (10/5): Great location, Personalized Service and Excellent Staff - I am a Sheraton/Marriott Platinum Elite member. This is my 3rd time staying in this hotel. What a great hotel! One day before arriving, Lobby Ambassador Ms. Gan emailed and asked if any special services are needed. During the check-in, Mr. Gan greeted us in the lobby. During our short stay, everything was superb. From all the fine room details to the reservation of a taxi, the staff was very helpful. This is an all round FIVE STAR hotel. Highly recommended!

- clx5646086 (10/5): A warm experience in the cold winter - Encounter a rush business trip to Nanchang. Cold winter but warm experience at Nanchang sheraton. Good location, great Christmas decoration, reasonable room layout and wonderful facilities. What is most need to mention is the service from Kity: early preparation for my room ; even the temperature of air conditioner has been settled to a most comfort status. Many thanks to kity for such warm service! Hope to see Nanchang sheraton again.
- peterguanyuz (10/5): A weekend getaway beyound expectation at Sheraton Nanchang - When booking the Nanchang trip to catch up with old friends, never did I foresee that in this city where I paid first visit, I would have such unforgettable experience, which should be largely attributed to Sheraton Nanchang Hotel. The hotel has taken my travel background into account to arrange everything, and proactively understood further details of the trip to tailor-make the plan. The suite is quite spacious with a living room large enough for 4 persons, a nice choice when the cold weather outside scares you backward. If you are tired of the room, lounge serves as a perfect alternative - nice view of river, gorgeous ambience and only a few guests there. The only pity was I didn't make it to grab time enjoying happy hour, as an array of local foods was waiting for me - next time will definitely try it! Staff credit to Daisy who shows great care to her guests and Jiamei with superb responsibility.
- DAL504 (8/5): Nanchang weekend at the Sheraton - Overall, the hotel is quite good. Rooms were comfortable and clean and well sized. The hotel has a large fitness facility and a good selection at breakfast. The location is a bit out of the center and there was a LOT of construction for the new subway line going on which made it harder to get to (my taxi driver from the airport dropped me off like a few blocks away as he couldn’t figure out how to get around it!)- once that is done it seems it will be even better connected to the center part on the other side of the river. There were subway stops a short walk away which was great because there was a marathon going on the free morning I had so no other way to cross! I had a room facing the river side and high enough up that I had a decent view of the Pavilion of Prince Teng.

The location is also great---within walking distance of a shopping mall and within walking distance of the river with great views all day. My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet is a little disappointing.

- Stanley (10/5): Nice, comfortable hotel for short or long stay - This is my 2nd time at the Sheraton Nanchang. My first stay was in Oct 2017 for a couple of nights. This time, I stayed for 8 nights for work. I arrived before the end of the 15-day Chinese New Year celebration, and the hotel lobby was decorated for the Chinese New Year. The decorations were taken down immediately after the new year ended, and I missed my change to take any pictures. My room was spacious and very comfortable. I had a partially obstructed view of the river. At night, the buildings outside my window had light-shows. The hotel has all the basic amenities including a decent gym and swimming pool. They also have a sauna that I will try the next time I stay there. The gym was not crowded in the late evening (after 9:00 pm) when I usually try to get my workout. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of Chinese and Western options. On the Chinese side, you can make your own bowl of noodles with freshly-made wontons and trimmings. They also have a custom grain smoothie (barley, sesame seeds, soy beans, red beans, etc) that is quite unique. I especially liked the steam food section where they usually have a variety of Chinese buns and root veggies. On the Western side, you have your usual cooked-to-order eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. I overhead a Caucasian American family comment one morning that the bacon was the best they have ever tasted. That's high praise indeed.
