- Terry (4/5): - Housekeeping could be much better. It is obvious that attention to upkeep needs to be better, I found several of the power outlets did not work. I stayed in two different rooms, in both the beds were due to be replaced. This is an older property with good bones, BUT, it's obvious the current owner is not inclined to put money into it. There is no security onsite during the day, and the General Manager is not on the property to handle guest problems.
- 511brib (8/5): Hostel vibes - Hostel vibes. There was constant noise, as there is a karaoke bar four doors down that blasts music from mid afternoon until well after dark. It is a small and older boutique hotel. The room has sweet nice touches. They even put rose petals on your bed and write your name and leaves, which is beautiful and thoughtful. Unfortunately, you can hear everything happening in the next room. Earplugs were a plus. The pool is nice but very small and there are people constantly chain-smoking around it. Fine spot if you are on a budget and traveling for just a few days.

- tinhead168 (10/5): Budget-Friendly with Character – But Not for Everyone - Central Indochina d’Ankor Hotel and Central Privilege Hotel in Siem Reap is a quaint, budget-friendly stay that delivers solid value for the price. While it’s not without its quirks, it holds its own in the affordable hotel category. The design feels a bit unconventional—expect no separate stall in the bathroom, uneven stairs leading to the rooms (and no elevator), and a somewhat dated interior. They also seem to go heavy on the insecticide, which is understandable given the tropical environment but something to be aware of. That said, the charm of the place still shines through. The atmosphere is pleasant, the rooms are comfortable enough, and for what you pay, it punches above its weight. It’s not a luxury experience, but it gets the job done at a price point that makes sense. Would I return? Only if I were in a pinch. While the hotel offers great value, Siem Reap is full of options, and exploration is half the fun. But if you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a bit of character, this one fits the bill. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for value.
- 46adamse (10/5): Good experience in Central Indochine hotel - The relaxing hotel located in town with nice people. The welcome drink with chip made us feel very welcoming and caring. The room is old but very clean. We love the way they care about sustainability saving water and resource. The nice swimming pool has a very good cocktail, buy 2 will get 1 free. All traveler, this hotel no elevator so request for lower floor if you can't use the stair.

I liked that it was walking distance to the main markets and the bars but not so close that it was too loud or too busy. The only reason i didn't rate this hotel higher was that the TV didn't work and the mini fridge was really noisy. Like really loud.

- Andrew (8/5): - The staff are amazing, they made this place worth staying in. The rooms are nice, no tv but that was ok. I was booked on the fourth floor and climbing up and down those stairs all day was not an option for me. They did accommodate me and moved me to the 2nd which was doable. Other then the elevator issue which might not be an issue for most people, way more positives then negatives and at the price a good deal. And the pool area is very nice.
- evalX8222YM (10/5): Service - The supported from Samnang, Sinat and Daro during my time in Central Indochine D’angkor was extraodinary. They helped me as soon as I arrived until my last day in the hotel. Helping me booking the tuk-tuk to go to Angkor, contacting the bus company to confirm my pick-up to next city, sending postcards, etc. I definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you for your help guys :)
- Shawn (10/5): - The staff is awesome. However i didn't stay one night there because the lock box was wooden lol and i had a lot of USD i kept with me. I needed a metal safe so i found another hotel the same day. I never requested a refund for the week i didn't stay. Not a problem, the people need the money more than me. I do however go back everyday to bring cat food for the cats and i eat at the restaurant there. The food is really good and worth just going for that.

- CharlotteRodgers12 (10/5): Great spot for a short stay - Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Location easy to walk to and from main areas including pub street and night market. Hotel was very quiet and no disturbances throughout the night or early morning. Bathroom downside was that the shower was open air in the whole bathroom so the floor remained wet which wasn’t great. There’s also not an elevator so if you’re unable to walk many stairs then request ground/low floor room.
- nickcE9760HU (4/5): I've never written a negative review. - Booked on line as pictures looked great but more was to be revealed upon check in. Many stairs to the top floor not really a problem as I knew there was no lift but in the heat, expect some sweat. Our first room the air-conditioner was broken so they delivered a fan it just blew hot air around. The room temp was 30deg. Finally they moved us from the hot room. The place is tired and needs maintenance, the taps in the bathroom were broken and fell over when you used them. The toilet ran all night like a water feature. The place advertisered satellite TV, no TV at all, mini bar and fridge, no Fridge, lock boxes nope none of them either. We had hot water once over four days and you had to run around in the shower to get wet. I cleaned the filters of the airconditoner as they were clogged and it worked much better. The staff were very young and seemed unable to make deci3sions and deal with problems. The pictures advertised are deceptive. Now the good things, staff were friendly and attentive, the pool and surrounds were excellent including the swim up bar and barman who makes excellent cocktails. The restaurant was great and the food delicious its outside undercover so it was hot but that didn't matter. Great location ten minutes to pub street and other locations. Sorry for the negative but it needs to be honest for future guests.
- Damiano (2/5): - On my arrival, I expected a Steel safe and a TV to be in my room I was led to believe that I had been upgraded to a family room This was not an upgrade I carry a passport medical insurance and credit cards that I wanted to put in a safe whilst I was in the pool or in town. I was supplied with a wooden box with a padlock on it. No TV. I booked out after 1 night of my three night stay. I do not expect a refund. I would also recommend not using this hotel as it does not fulfil what is booked
- Philip (8/5): Great value for a 3 star - Great value for what you get. The beds are comfy and the sheets are nice and soft. The drinks by the pool ver nice and cheap. $3.50 for cocktails. Laundry same day is nice. U’re clothes will come back very wrinkled. Line dry I’m assuming.
- SeshKomanduri (8/5): Very nice hotel in Siem Reap - This hotel is tucked away in a nice quiet street. From the time you enter the place, you can begin to feel a very nice vibe. It is very tastefully done up with a lot of effort going into being eco friendly at every step. The rooms were very neat and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only one problem I faced was with the washbasin the bathroom- where the faucet was pointing sideways and just would not stay put pointing into the basin. A first for me :-)

It was a 10 minute walk from the centre of Siem Reap.There was plenty of reasonably priced restaurants offering a wide range of foods from Italian to traditional Cambodian. The bars all did a happy hour,some lasting all day!! The night market was also very good offering an assortment of street foods. There were several well stocked supermarkets with in easy reach, .plus several pharmacies.The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was a bit dated but perfectly adequate. The beds were really comfortable and towels and water were replenished every day.

Easy to rent bike and scooters and they helped booking the bus for our next stop in Cambodia. Rooms are big, but the bed was hard. Fridge and aircondition. Pool was fine too and nice area around it.

- Global706525 (10/5): Nice hotel in Siem Reap City :) - The pool and pool bar was perfect after a long day of touring temples. My family Loved the pool bar! The breakfast and dinner options were really good. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind. Can NOT beat the price.
- Kom2323 (10/5): Amazing hotel - I stayed here with my dad, my brother, and my daughter and niece (both eight years old) for about a week. Absolutely fantastic hotel. It's set a bit back from the main road, so it was lovely and quiet, but it's only a ten minute walk to Pub Street. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are lovely. They accommodated our request for my dad to be on the ground floor as there is no lift, then my brother and I and the two kids had family rooms that were next door to each other, with a door in between them, which was really handy for whoever was babysitting. There is also a large lobby and dining area which is partially open to the outdoors, and a beautiful swimming pool. If you need laundry doing, there is a lady who lives almost next door to the hotel where you can drop off clothes to be washed. There is a convenience store about five minutes away selling pretty much everything you might need. I've travelled around Cambodia a fair bit as I have family there. This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for accommodation in Siem Reap.
- Verne (8/5): - The staff at reception were very helpful and informative. The girls at the restaurant were charming and were always smiling. The breakfast is excellent, loved the fried noodle set! The food is good if you don’t feel like going out. I like everything about this place but be careful when booking to ask for a lower floor if you have difficulty climbing steps as there is no elevator but they will help you with your suitcase/luggage.

The bed was comfortable for south east asia standards. Grounds are beautiful. Walk to Pub street is 10 minutes. Would highly recommend this hotel. Great value.

The bathrooms could use some work, and there were encounters with the occasional bug here and there, but understandable given the region. Would recommend.
- burtybeatle (10/5): Superb - My partner and I stayed here for almost a week. Was very satisfied with the hotel. The staff behind reception were very helpful and the rooms were regularly cleaned. The pool area is perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. The hotel is situated in a great area and everything is nearby. Lorm and Sokhy behind the swim up bar were awesome blokes and I had many great conversations with them which made the stay feel very welcoming. Thanks for having us. - Wendy (8/5): - Hotel was ok and location was walkable to town, we didn't use transport but it would only be $1 to the river. The last 200m is a bit dark at night if you're a single traveller. Included breakfast was good. Our main problem was on 1st floor our balcony door mechanism was so flimsy, you can't lock the door, and you can easily walk across to the other balconies. I would ask for 2nd floor. And the safe was not bolted in. They fixed the safe immediately but couldn't get door fixed until next day. We ended up wedging it. Pool was nice. Staff were very attentive and spoke English very well. They don't answer Expedia messages promptly.

I'd highly recommend this hotel for everyone, The food at the restaurant was so good and fairly priced,the location is in the city center , quiet and relaxing and swimming pool is very nice and i had a great cocktail at the pool bar.

The Old Market and Pub Street are at a walking distance only. The staff is very polite and helpful for all the concerns. I would prefer again if I visit Siem Reap in the future.

No boring, the hotel is located in the quiet area and quite near the night market just a few minutes away. The missing of an elevator was not a problem for us, and the astonishing pool made our holiday perfect until checking out.

Overall, a great experience and a pretty good location! It’s just a 10minutes walk from the happening Pub Street and Market Street so I saved some money on transport to and fro most of the time! Nice facilities as well, just be prepared to climb stairs as there’s no lift in the hotel.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Subpar standards but stellar service at the end - The first night left a bad taste in our mouth. The moment the door opened, we saw that the room was not up to the expected standards based on reviews and ratings (a. 32" TV was ~32cm; b. toilet had conditioner and soap but not shampoo; c. was told that the hotel does not provide hair dryer when requested; d. no hot water in the mixer). Taking reference from the hotel's replies to other unsatisfactory reviews here, we raised the issues with the hotel and requested for a room change. They were very reluctant and the way the lady put it was very rude (i.e. "you want to change room just for the TV?!") We eventually got our room change and it was way better. Even the difference in the bed quality can be felt. However, we spotted cockroach nymphs a number of times in the toilet and the TV console. Maybe it's from the straw deco. The hot water mixer in our replacement room was also very erratic. It goes from cold to very hot within seconds, and back again. Might be a leaky cold water inflow to it. The hotel should really do a comprehensive QC on their rooms. However, stellar service at the end as the staff offered us a complimentary room just for us to bathe before our overnight bus. We were in a rush so we rejected it. Nonetheless, the gesture was very heartwarming.

We booked a private tour with the hotel; the transportation was organized specialized to be with our favorite driver Veasna. it was so fantastic moment for a trip to Asia to see great Angkor Wat and surrounded by lovely people. The room is large, clean and comfortable. We love the hotel and will come back soon with highly recommended to everyone who plans a vacation to Siem Reap.
