- Alexander (1/5): A couple of really bad incidents completely spoiled our impression of this hotel. - The location for Ironman Texas. The room size and the shower. The quality of the bed. The food and service at breakfast and at dinner on one evening. The pool and deck on the second floor. The cold water dispenser on the lowest floor. There was a gross miscommunication between the reception staff and the restaurant staff which resulted in us receiving extremely poor service. Then, when we checked out we were told our bike box could not be stored. Not only is this different to any other hotel we have stayed in it, we were effectively lied to as the hotel was already storing someone else’s bike box.

- volcanogirl (10/5): Very Comfortable Rooms and in the Perfect Location - We come to the Woodlands every year for the marathon and usually stay at another hotel, but they were full this year, so we decided to try the Westin. We ended up loving it, and this will be our hotel of choice from now on. The lobby is beautiful, and they have a wonderful Italian restaurant and a Starbucks for convenience. Check-in was easy; we're Marriott members, and they gave us a nice little welcome bag with bottled waters and macarons. We appreciated that. The hotel is located on the waterway with lots of restaurants in walking distance and a pretty area with fountains. Our room was very comfortable with a wonderful king-sized "heavenly bed" as they call it, nice sitting area, large desk, flatscreen tv, small refrigerator, and a coffee maker. The bathroom was nice; I would have liked to have a bathtub, but those seem like they're harder to come by these days. They gave us a coupon for a complimentary cocktail and gelato in their Italian restaurant, but it could only be used between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. which meant we couldn't use it. We had reservations for dinner in the evening; it would be nice if they extended those hours to dinnertime. Other than that we were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back again next year.

From check-in to check-out, he was consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and Alex truly made it feel special. Upon arrival, he arranged for chilled champagne to be waiting in our room, and throughout the weekend he took the time to clearly explain all the extra touches included in our package. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The view overlooking the trees was peaceful. Our room was very quiet. We had dinner both nights at Sorriso Modern Italian Kitchen, and the food was absolutely fabulous. Hands down the best on-site hotel restaurant food we’ve experienced. I also want to highlight the hotel gym. It was top tier and clearly not an afterthought. It had great space, excellent equipment, headphones, cold towels, and water. Everything you’d want. Since it was January and quite cold, we didn’t get to use the pool. The location is another big plus. Being right on the waterway made it easy to walk to nearby attractions or take a very short drive to additional activities. Overall, Alex’s outstanding customer service was a key reason our anniversary trip was so memorable. We left feeling cared for and celebrated. We we wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.

- X7667GIgigim (6/5): Beware of the Hidden Resort Fee - Beware of the $25 resort fee. This is not a resort. Had I known that this place was an extra $25 a night, I would have stayed at another hotel. The fee is buried in the fine print. There is nothing "resort-like" about this place. It's surrounded by parking garages and next to a manmade ditch. There's a club attached to it so it is noisy. You do not get anything for the resort fee so it is basically a money grab.

- Kathryn (5/5): - The location was great! I liked being able to walk out the door and be on the waterway. We were delayed over an hour and a half getting into our room. This was very frustrating and inconvenient. We were late arriving for dinner with friends. Additionally, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the toilet paper was similar to tissue paper, feeling rough.

- Kema (10/5): - The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, and there was easy access to the waterway for a lovely stroll. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a free trolley was available. The room location was slightly noisy, but they provided earplugs to help with this issue. One area for improvement would be updating the technology. There are only USB charging ports, and I have a USB-C port. I have an adapter, but I forgot to bring it with me. Overall, I had a wonderful time at this hotel and would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it!

The Front Office director of the hotel, Mr. Ghadiri was very hospitable and in a very timely manner addressed our reservation issue as well as our parking issue. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

- 194chasent (10/5): Great Stay - Great Bar Experience - I want to share that while my stay was great, the bartender Bailey was outstanding and really made my stay extra memorable. I look forward to returning to enjoy his exemplary mixology skills and engaging conversation. Bailey was training another team member and displayed strong leadership skills; coaching her along while maintaining happy customers at the bar top. His knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer was impressive and we talked about Bourbon and Gin for a good hour. Thank you Bailey for keeping customer service alive!

Excellant hotel, front desk assistance was fabulous - William, Jade. Few other ppl, over all service was great. Pros - Walkability: smack in the middle of restaurants (near one of the restaurants/bar areas in The Woodlands) great nightlife. Sheriffs also present, so it was safe for both kids and adults. - Restaurants are a few feets away from the hotel - Waterway behind the hotel, perfect views and great for walk/exercise - cery neat and clean - the Woodlands mall is at about 0.4 miles walk. It has merry go round for kids, barnes n nobles and ofcourse other stores, including north italia, cheesecakse factory, shake shack and more for dining - wasnt too bad in July to walk outside - breakfast at the hotel- Sorrisoo. Not too expensive - Starbucks open till 6 pm - The library to sit and relax, do your work CONS - Sorrisso, the onsite restaurant has limited hours- closed from 11 amam to 5 pm. - If The library is booked for an event you would need to work in the lobby Overall excellant experience for a picky traveller:)

At first it appeared I did not have a room from my company and he was patient to see what options were available. We were able to work out away through my company to be able to stay since one of our group was not using the room 511. I did leave a cash tip for the individual who cleaned my room because they did a super job! (my stay: July 17, 18th, 19th). Well done! Your entire staff is superb! - Made (6/5): - Pool is nice. Bed size, supposedly King bed, was not king bed. And when we asked the staff, he smuggishly implied that we dont know the size of a king bed. Honey, we know king bed and cali king bed, we measure the bed width and it is less than 70 inches. My BF is 6 feet 1 and i notice his legs are just barely fit, so the length isnot even 80 inches as king bed should be.
