Il servizio navetta è molto comodo e i ragazzi si sono rivelati delle persone squisite. Consiglio a tutti il soggiorno presso Asafuji!

• Yannick (10/5): Great traditional small hotel - Location, atmosphere, facilities and great staff. We particularly enjoyed the onsen. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. Didn't find the traditional Japanese beds particularly comfortable, but that's because we are not used to these.

Während des Abendessens wurden uns in unserem traditionellen Hotelzimmer die Futons zum Schlafengehen vorbereitet. Und das Abendessen hatte „Sternequalität“. Außerdem war die Lage des Hotels ideal, um den Mount Fuji zu fotografieren. Wir hatten Glück, und der Heilige Berg zeigte sich von seiner besten Seite.

• Barrow (10/5): - Room had amazing views of Mount Fuji. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Free shuttle bus service really useful for getting from/to station. Super location with main activities within walking distance.
• Detajin (10/5): Small beautiful hotel with great hospitality! - This is a small hotel with only may be 15 rooms. The facilities, although not brand-new, are very neat and clean. The hotel situates a bit uphill and you can see the view of Fujisan from your room (it’s an oblique view, but still beautiful!). The room is cozy (we stayed in a Tatami-floored room), all the A/C, fridge, electronic toilet, kettle etc. works well. All amenities are provided, including clothing (Samue, probably) for 2 adults and 2 kids, small cloth bags to go to an Onsen bath. Indoor shoes are given and you can also borrow a pair of Zori shoes from the hotel entrance. They have a station to paint small glasses or paper fans as you prefer and they gave souvenirs for kids as well. There are free Oden in the afternoon at the lobby, and you can bring a tea set up to your room to sip while admiring the Fuji view on your room. The in-house food is superb, traditional Japanese style. Breakfast is already great enough, but the in-house dinner (beef Sukiyaki) is even more fantastic (although you need to pay extra fee and reserve that in advance)! Apart from what being said above, however, what impressed us most is the hospitality of the staffs. They work hard and doing multi-tasking, yet very willing to help us in every way. We once ask the staff member if they have a shuttle service at 7pm to the train station to get something as a dinner, as we didn’t book for in-house dining on the 2nd night and the nearby restaurant are fully booked. One of the staff which actually works with the dinner course immediately re-arrange her work to her colleagues and got us a ride to Lawson to buy something and back with no hesitation. We cannot thank her enough for that! Strongly recommended if you want to stay at Kawaguchiko. If you don’t have your own car, you will have to rely on the hotel shuttle or public transport. There is a bus-stop of the Red-line exactly in front of the hotel, but during a crowded weekend the bus is often late (sometimes more than 30 minutes) and full. The taxi is hard to find during the peak weekend also. There is only one restaurant nearby which is also crowded during weekend. However, if you plan to stay during a weekday with fewer tourists, this should not be a problem.

The dinner wasn’t great. The broth they served was too sweet. I also thought it was weird that they considered my 8 yr old an as an adult. The adult pajama/outfits were too big for him and we had to request a child size for him.

• Meltrine (1/5): I’ve been 3 times to kawaguchiko, this one is totally the worst stay and overpriced. Go find other hotel and aboid this - Location in front of the lake, mount fuji is on the left side. The hotel is old, outdated and smelly. The bathroom and toilet is dark and outdated. The breakfast is literally from supermarket food, dinner is overpriced! It’s just a tourist trap with old tatami setting with very bad quality bed. Onsen is small pond with only warm water, not even worth to try. Wifi is not working but the staff keep saying it works maybe not with iphone, I asked other tourist and they said the same thing, not working.

• Kindt (10/5): Herausragender Service und wunderschönes kleines traditionelles Hotel - Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Asafuji und können es absolut weiterempfehlen! Das Personal war herausragend, extrem freundlich, unglaublich zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Egal bei welchem Anliegen, man wurde sofort unterstützt und hat sich wirklich willkommen gefühlt. So einen Service erlebt man selten! Auch die Kommunikation auf Englisch war problemlos möglich. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet und der Futon war überraschend bequem, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Der Onsen mit Blick auf den Fuji war natürlich auch ein schönes Extra, aber vor allem der außergewöhnliche Service hat unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, vor allem wegen dieses tollen Teams! Vielen Dank für alles!
• Kathleen (9/5): I'm a fan of ryokans! - Lovely visit here during 2 night detour to the Mt Fuji / Lake Kawaguchiko area. They offer free shuttle service from the train station to the hotel which offers lovely views of the lake and mountain. I booked this hotel via Booking.com because I wanted a traditional ryokan experience. I think this one is slightly more westernized as they didn't require us to take off our shoes and wear the yukatas. I was in communication with them prior to our trip and they were helpful and responsive. We enjoyed 1 dinner and 2 of the included breakfasts and the food and experience was amazing. They were super accommodating to our dietary restrictions (1 pescatarian). The experience felt personal and thoughtful - with detailed instructions on how to eat our sukiyaki dinner, how to use the onsen etc - without feeling rigid and stuffy. The onsen located on the 4th floor was lovely (and tattoo friendly). It's separated into men's and women's. (I'm not sure if they have suites that have private onsens). During our visit I had the onsen to myself most of the times I visited - sitting up there to views of the Lake and Mt. Fuji is spiritual. The rooms were roomy and comfortable (a huge difference from the tiny coffin sized room I was in while in Tokyo). I thought our shower looked a little cramped but turns out I never used it preferring to just use the onsen instead. Got some great sleep on a futon mattress laid on the tatami mat - was warm and comfortable and didn't have the significant other steal my blankets or put their cold feet on me (is what he would say in his review.)

• stephane (8/5): Un hôtel traditionnel idéalement situé pour faire escale au pied du Mont Fuji - L'emplacement est parfait avec vue sur le lac en hauteur et une vue légèrement décalée sur le mont fuji. Etablissement facile à trouver. Les bains avec la vue sur le mont fuji constituent un plus. Personnel très sympa et désireux de vous satisfaire. Pensez à réserver le petit déjeuner à l'avance !! Une des 2 chambres donnée pour 4 était trop petite. il faudrait limiter cette superficie à 2 ou 3 personnes max. L'autre chambre avec la petite loggia était bien mais avec la salle de bain aménagée à côté de la loggia et un peu "fraiche "car non isolée : ce n'est pas très grave car il faut profiter plutôt des bains au dernier étage, c'est cela l'intérêt de cet hôtel.
• Cesar (10/5): This is the place to stay if you ever want to have some rest with views to the Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi. I miss our - Our first experience staring at a traditional Japanese style room with futon and tatami! The place was clean, comfortable and the Onsen was a great first experience. The staff hospitality was outstanding too! They gave us gifts at both check in and check out. Traditional breakfast was great too. You get to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the restaurants windows… and in our case, from our rooms windows too. They also picked us up from the Kawaguchiko Station at our arrival and took us back at our departure. And we got free sake at night in the lobby. Everything was great!

Le petit déjeuner qui manque de jus d 'orange / un peu de viennoiserie, le poisson dés le matin c'était compliqué pour moi. MAIS ce sont mes goûts personnels et pas la faute de l'hôtel, mon ami a bien aimé lui il a adoré et ça fait partie de l'expérience du Ryokan.

• Fiona (10/5): Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Hotel Asafuji. - Das Hotelpersonal war wahnsinnig freundlich ind zuvorkommend. Aus unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf den See und Mt.Fuji.
• Aushi (10/5): Bon hôtel qualité prix - Le personne était vraiment adorable. Il y avais une navette aller retour. On avais besoin d'envoyer nos valises a un autre hôtel ils nous ont bien aidé. Ils proposent des atelier chaque jour vers la fin de la journée c'est très sympas. Les bains chauds sont incroyable. On a pu voir le mont fuji le dernier jour de notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner le matin est froid mis à part le riz et la soupe miso. Mais l'ensemble était correcte. Il n'y avais pas de prise pour charger les portables a par celui de la télé.

• Ching-Yi (8/5): - 飯店有提供河口湖到飯店的免費接駁車，若有接送需求建議事先跟飯店聯絡，飯店回覆訊息很快，提供的接送資訊也很清楚 晚餐是牛肉涮涮鍋，旅伴不吃牛有事先要求其中一份換成豬肉，晚餐非常好吃，肉的品質很好，還有一整籠的蒸蔬菜，整體分量非常大，到隔天早上還很飽，導致早餐有點吃不下；相較於晚餐，早餐就比較普通，但也不錯 所有的服務人員都非常友善，傍晚有免費的清酒跟關東煮(別吃太多，不然晚餐會吃不下)，退房還送了小禮物

• 李明晏Ming-Yan (10/5): 小而美的溫泉旅館！ - 旅館的餐點非常棒！我們預定了一天的晚餐，因為有些飲食需求需要調整（不吃牛或生魚片），旅館都非常有耐心且仔細地與我們確認，餐點非常好吃且豐盛（包含早餐），我們這次住宿了兩天，早餐菜單也不同且相當的豐盛。雖然這次住宿並沒有碰到許多人說的台灣工作人員，但是我們也受到了工作人員的款待。 旅館的位置可以看到富士山（雖然稍微擋到），但從房間就可以看到富士山的景色。

• Shiyu (6/5): A hotel with Mt. Fuji view - The view of the room is unbeatable and you can see Mt. Fuji outside your window. The hotel facilities are kind of old. It didn't fully meet my expectations with the price I paid. But it's understandable that the hotels in this area are overpriced, given the location.
