- Tina (8/5): Nice !! - The whole experience was great, lovey atmosphere when walking into the reception/ bar area..the food in the restaurant was fantastic, staff professional and accommodating… nice to see. The room was also very modern clean and maintained. The road noise .. understandable as the hotel is positioned on the main road but was so so noisy that I couldn’t sleep. Maybe a larger bed, although comfortable it was just a little small and I think guests would benefit from a queen bed.
- Dan (10/5): -
- Sally (10/5): Beautiful and welcoming - Very comfortable with lovely furnishings
- Avril (10/5): - Lovely room. Great food. Parking problem sorted out quicklu
- Mandy (10/5): - Ideal hotel if you're cruising. Was very comfortable and the restaurant was lovely too. Not keen on the bed as quite firm.

- Annalee (9/5): Recommend stay cation - Lovely room, very clean and fresh. Bathroom was modern and spacious. Service was friendly. Nice choice of tea/coffee etc and mini bar if needed. Loved the window seat and watching ships go past. There was some traffic noise and bright light from outside, but this is to be expected due to location. (Curtains and blind did block out the light).

- Jane (10/5): Great boutique hotel close to ferry ports. Lots of personal touches and excellent food. - We really liked all the extra touches, slippers and bathrobes, cloths for drying hand rather than paper towels, premium brand toiletries and good quality coffee machine. The restaurant was exceptional and food quality far exceeded our expectations
- Jenny (10/5): Fantastic staff, room and food. Highly recommended - Beautiful hotel, breakfast was delicious Nothing

- Margaret (8/5): Pleasurable stay for the start of our holiday - Very clean, lovely comfortable rooms & good location for our journey to the Port.
Quality breakfast, with nothing to much trouble.
Pleasant, friendly staff. Parking is limited to a few spaces. While website states first come first served, perhaps I was naive in thinking it was whoever arrives first.
It actually means who books first for their particular stay. While lucky to find a space on arrival we were informed we had not booked so could not stay. There is a car park nearby however, albeit not a large one at a reasonable cost of £11 for 24hrs
- Frank (9/5): I’d stay there again! - Helpful staff. Well looked after and appointed rooms. Food was amazing. Our room was filled with kind and thoughtful gestures for the traveller. It didn’t have an elevator and we are seniors and had too much luggage. Special thanks to the young man the next morning who lugged it all down for us.
- David (7/5): -

- David (10/5): -
- Tessie (10/5): I would recommend Ennios to anyone staying in Southampton. - Service and food was outstanding. I felt bad because the portions were way too big for me.
Room was comfortable and the window shade cut out noise and light. Nightlight in the bathroom would help... I could have asked for help. I should have. Hauling everything up and downstairs was hard. Other than that, which is due to my not wanting to bother you, everything was outstanding.p
- Sharon (8/5): Good overnight stay - None None
- Rose (9/5): -
- Maria (10/5): A wonderful experience with amazing staff who understand what customer service is all about! - A beautiful boutique property well located to terminals and easy walking distances around the old city . The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to assist with luggage and information required. A big thank you to Emma who drove me to the terminal after taxi delay and to the tram for assisting with luggage. Beautiful ambience and wonderful food at the restaurant. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again.
- Rose (10/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): Nice - Close to where I wanted to be Close to the road
- iain (5/5): Good but expensive - The room and the bed were excellent £140 was too expensive, didn't even include breakfast, poor.
- Jonathan (10/5): Perfection with most friendly personable staff, Joe is a real asset to the business. - Fantastic bijou property with superb Italian restaurant, perfect for pre cruise, none of the hassle of the large hotels. Nothing
- Michael (8/5): Fab Hotel. Comfy, stylish décor; lovely staff, short taxi ride to Mayflower & easy on the wallet too - Amazing staff, very accommodating. Warm, friendly atmosphere and a short taxi ride away from the Mayflower Theatre (we saw To Kill a Mockingbird - fantastic production). We were a tad out of season so lunch was not an option on day of arrival but gorgeous breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this hotel highly - for its amazing staff, location to the theatre, comfort, décor and price. Only the teensiest negative feedback in that the lighting in the (otherwise lovely room), was a little dim and not adjustable.
- David (9/5): Excellent accommodation - Everything from check in to overall stay was excellent. Only thing that would have mate it better was a harder mattress, but that's just a personal preference.
- Nicky (9/5): -
- Sonia (8/5): Fabulous! - Beautiful Nil negative to comment
- AKRAM SAM (10/5): -
- Gillian (10/5): Great location - great hotel - Everything - there was nothing to dislike. Great position - great and help staff - very clean Nothing
- Angela (9/5): A cozy bedroom with a comfortable bed made for a very pleasant stay - The bed was very comfortable, and the bedroom had a cozy feel. The only downside was that I could hear the corridor door opening and closing, but it wouldn’t bother someone who’s a deep sleeper
- nicholas (8/5): Comfortable - Great Carpet not nice
- julie (9/5): - The modern decor, fabulous bathroom and quality bedding. Very clean and new looking. Excellent food. Slight noise from the road and too much outside light during the night. Although hotel says they are addressing that issue
- VIKASHNI (9/5): Overall excellent place to stay - The environment was great and had a nice touch to the dining room There wasn't any lifts for carrying luggage which made it difficult as there wasn't a staff who may be readily available on checkout so we had to bring our luggage ourselves.
- Pine (7/5): -
- Olive (9/5): Excellent location, room. Staff went over and beyond (especially Joe) to ensure we had lovely stay. - Breakfast very good. Staff very attentive ensuring we had. Plenty of refills of tea/coffee
- Lynne (9/5): We enjoyed three days in this very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and professional. - Historical building restored lovingly!
Comfortable bed and pillows. Quality bedding and lovely products. Prices in the bar were quite expensive
- Chantel (9/5): - Great location next to the harbour and quiet even though its next to a main road. The room was pleasant and good air conditioning.
- Simon (9/5): -
- Lorraine (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. - Very comfortable, everything I wanted was in my room. Lovely bedlinen, fluffy towels, warm and welcoming. Nothing.
- Elaine (10/5): -
- helen (10/5): -
- John (10/5): If an elevator is not important to you, I recommend this hotel. - The hotel is a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, The bed was very comfortable and the towels luxurious. The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel does not have an elevator. This isn’t a complaint just a FYI. My husband has difficulty climbing stairs but he made it up and down ok. The staff carried our suitcases to our room.
- Cheek Jr (8/5): I would recommend the hotel - Very walkable area near the mall and historic downtown. The breakfast was hearty and delicious with attentive staff. We had some ants in our bathroom and our shower didn't drain. HOWEVER, the staff moved us without question and apologized for the trouble.
- Jaspreet (10/5): Excellent experience. Enjoyed my stay - Property was in good location
It was clean, with good taste, restaurant was good too. I could see the harbour from my window which was nice. Staff was professional and helpful. I would go back. Car park space was really handy to have at this location.
- Elinmel (6/5): -
- Shan Barnes (10/5): Lovely stay - Absolutely lovely hotel spotless and clean bed really comfy just a perfect stay
- Hilary (10/5): 5 start perfection - Beautiful and elegant and exceptionally spotlessly clean. Staff professional and friendly, and could not do enough for you. Absolutely nothing. There’s no lift but that is not a problem. Only a short flight of stairs.
- Emma (9/5): Highly recommended - great position, helpful staff, parking and room was spotless! - Hotel had parking, staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were spotless, bathroom was big with white fluffy towels. Highly recommended No blinds in bathroom or bathroom door to stop the light come through. The glass was frosted so was private but in the morning the light shone through.
- Helen (9/5): Much nicer than a big anonymous chain hotel. Just lovely. - It was lovely. Rooms stylish spotless and well equipped. Quality bed linens and decent tea and coffee items. Fantastic chic modern decor and furnishings. Beautiful toasty warm en-suite. Nice towels, great shower. All good. Very friendly staff. We are older travellers. A lift would have given it a solid 10. However we managed with the lovely staff bringing our 4 heavy cases up and Down the stairs twice. We stayed a night before and after a cruise. Recommended it already to other travellers. Restaurant good as well. No lift. I hadn’t checked. My fault but it would definitely be useful.
- Debra (9/5): Great quality hotel in excellent location for cruise and ferry ports. Lots of complimentary extras in room and very frie - Location was handy for cruise ports.
Exceptionally clean and well maintained with lots of unexpected extras such as ear plugs.
Eye mask would have been helpful too.
Complimentary water, robes and slippers a nice touch. Bathroom needs a blackout blind or on bathroom glass door as exceptionally bright during night due to port lights.
Very noisy due to location but the earplugs supplied help with this.
- Louise (9/5): A great little place. - Great location to depart for our cruise. Easy to park too. Room was pristine and nicely equipped and configured. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent too. There was a live singer on when we arrived sitting right by the reception desk which made it difficult to hear check in conversation.
- Oommen (9/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): ENNIOS WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF EVERYTHING SOUTHAMPTON HAS TO OFFER. - THE ROOM WAS SURPRISINGLY COMFORTABLE AND HAD ALL THE LITTLE EXTRAS SUCH AS GOOD COFFEE, NESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE, COMFORTABLE BED AND GREAT BATHROOM - OH AND THE TOWELS WERE SO FLUFFLY AND LUXURIOUS TOO! BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS, WITH OPTIONAL EXTRAS TO ADD A HEALTHY TOUCH - WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED BY THE MENU CHOICES AND THE SERVICE FROM STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING. FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND SMILEY - WHICH IS OFTEN A RAREITY THESE DAYS! NOTHING - IT WAS ALL EXCELLENT. JUST NEED TO REMEMBER TO RESERVE CAR PARKING AS THIS IS LIMITED . BUT THE HOST WAS HELPFUL AND ENSURED WE GOT A SPACE.
- Denise (10/5): Great stay and we hope to visit again. - Lovely room tastefully modernised in a historic building. Easy to walk from here to explore Southampton. We went to the Mayflower Theatre which was an easy, safe 20 min walk. Wonderful breakfast and the evening meal was great too. The rooms to the front have views over the Ferry terminal, which we enjoyed watching. It is on a busy road so the road noise may be bothersome to some but we were not unduly disturbed. Rooms to the rear of the hotel will obviously be quieter
- NualaF11 (10/5): I would definitely go back. - Went to Southampton for a show at the Mayflower theatre. Upon arrival at Ennio's we were given a warm welcome. Being able to book into our room slightly ahead of time was a bonus.
Staff were so helpful, friendly and genuinely interested in what we were doing during our stay.
The bar appeared to be well stocked. The only thing missing were a few bar snacks which would have been appreciated. Staff said they were looking into that.
The room was clean, the beds were comfy and the newly fitted bathroom was a treat.
Breakfast was absolutely delish. We had the vegan breakfast and were able to have added extras from the menu.
Coffee was amazing.
Staff were amazing.
Would definitely stay there again.
- Myung (10/5): It couldn't be better. - More than expected .
Great location for cruise, before cruise or after.
Also staff are very kindly.

- Cecilia (10/5): My New Go To in SOU - Top notch throughout. Joe and Benjamin are wonderful! So kind and friendly. I was assigned the Fortuna room which overlooked the ferry terminal & river. Earplugs were provided but I did not need. Shower is great, plush towels, bed might be too soft for some, but I slept comfortably. English breakfast was amazing! did not want hash browns and was able to substitute with spinach. For a light supper, ordered the grilled octopus-yummy 😋 Unsecured WiFi
- Kim (8/5): Lovely comfortable hotel well situated and friendly staff - Room was lovely, clean and well equipped and very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. Having to walk outside to go t breakfast
- Deb (10/5): Perfect stay - Fantastic place, very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was 10/10
We highly recommend this place Nothing
