Extremely clean and rveryhing you should want from high quality soaps snd big fluffy towels in the bathroom. A proper coffee machine, and really nice muesli and yoghurt for breakfast. Very leafy and quiet. A very nice part of Wagga Wagga.

Close to the best coffee in Wagga and 2 minute walk to grocery shopping, pleasant 10 minute stroll through a rose garden to the main street for boutiques, wine bars and plentiful food options. Highly recommended.

The only downside is the parking - only room for 6 cars, so if it is full the street is your only,option. The shopping areas are not within walking distance neither are most restaurants. Our room was cost & the bed very comfy.

- Leanne (10/5): - This is a gorgeous, comfortable, well appointed Hotel and I really loved it. The free breakfast, super comfortable high quality bed and linen and the deep bath for a nice warm soak were ideal. I would highly recommend instead of some ordinary brand named hotel when the character and quality of the Houston exists in the same town! Wifi was excellent and the owners are flexible and even allowed me to stay there for a late check out to finish off some work commitments. If you are travelling for business or pleasure, treat yourself you will be so glad you did. This will become more go to stop off in Wagga from now on.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - On arrival It looked great. Parking a little tricky when full(6 cars). Luggage tricky to take across gravel paths. Really beautiful set up and very spacious. Great location and cosy. Bed a little too soft but only major issue was there was No Hot Water. They kindly upgraded us, as i requested a bath but upon putting it that night there was only very slightly luke warm water and then the following morning the shower was virtually cold. Unfortunately that spoilt the experience but other than that it was lovely.

Communication was friendly and clear. Simple breakfast items provided, though all gluten or dairy items so I couldn't use any of it, but it was nice that they made the effort (went above and beyond!) Great location, close to everything. Will definitely return
- Kate (10/5): - Room beautifully decorated and spacious. Location is extremely convenient to shopping and dining out. Of the latter there are plenty of excellent options within walking distance. Parking is tight but if fellow guests park considerately there’s room for everyone and further on street parking just outside. Bed is super comfy and great shower. Loved the aesthetic of the place - so cosy.

Air con sounded like a plane taxying for take off. Had to turn it off at night . Bed was comfortable though . Disappointing .

- Mary Lou (10/5): Great Wagga alternative to regular motels - This boutique hotel is a lovely place to stay in Wagga, walking distance to many good food and shopping options as well as walking and cycling paths. Very comfortable and a little off beat, being a refurbished 19th century mansion house of relatively grand proportions. The contactless check-in worked really well and is a good option when arriving late out of office hours.
- Ian (10/5): Wagga Gem - An internet find and excellent result. It is challenging to find quality accommodation at reasonable cost but the Houston is a standout plus. We were doing a round NSW road trip and it was the best we experienced.
