- Jocelyn (6/5): Disturbed night - Friendly staff and comfortable bed, but hotel needs maintenance. Our room overlooked the filling station in the forecourt and we were disturbed by noise through the night. Connecting door to adjacent room also meant we could clearly hear our neighbours when they got up at 4am. Asked to change room but apparently all rooms look out onto the filling station, so did not stay for second night.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Old rooms, dated amenities. - We stayed in a very strange cheetah themed room. The floors had seen some flooding and were damaged, there were cockroaches and a spider was crawling on my pillow. Clearly this room and hotel weren't in good condition. On top of that, the breakfast was very meagre. Service was good because they did try to find us an alternative room but to no avail unfortunately because all the rooms had problems. This hotel is really dated and needs a full refresh. I would never stay here.

Lots of repair needed to floors, furniture, and stained walls within the room. Room was spacious and wifi was fast. The pool could also use some maintenance/cleaning.

Lo mismo Rosa la señora que atiende en el Restaurante del hotel y en el desayuno siempre dispuesta a colaborar en hacer nuestra estadia mas placentera. El Desayuno Excelente no falta nada todo muy rico y abundante digno de los mejores Hoteles del mundo. Las Habitaciones muy limpias y cuando uno salía de compras volvias y ya estaba de nuevo todo arreglado y limpio como cuando llegamos al hotel. Hermosa pi eta, sauna. - Negativo no tiene nada. Lo Super Recomiendo

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Tuvimos un trato denigrante por la recepcionista de nombre Nacy Cuellar donde nos maltrato con calumnias e injurias fue muy desagradable pasar por una situación así, realizamos las reservas atravez de la página Expedía primeramente las reservas se realizó con 2 habitaciones stándar luego fue modificado por las siguientes forma: 1 hatacion cama matrimonial y un acompañante U$ 53 , otra habitación con una cama matrimonial o doble U$ 44, la tercera habitación es Stándar U$ 33 total por una diría U$ 130 por 6600 gs 858 000 se adjuntan compro ante de reservas que fueron remitidos al celular del hotel LuxSur 0986495500 es una verdadera vergüenza que hoteles así estén funcionando en una ciudad turística como Encarnación perjudicando el tremendo esfuerzos de muchas persons

- Kimberley (10/5): Fantastic Stay. - Wonderful stay. Each member of staff made me feel very welcome. I was able to check in early and shown to my room which was spacious and very clean. Special thanks to the lady at reception who spoke English (I am sorry I didn't get your name). Breakfast was delicious, so many options including egg and bacon. There was a pool on the 8th floor and restaurant and bar. The cocktails were lovely and caprices very cheap. Excellent location, supermarket 5 minutes away as well as the bank and money exchange. Also near the bus terminal. Many thanks for the great stay and introduction to Paraguay. If I ever return I will stay here again and tell others to. Muchas Gracias.

- jim (10/5): Luxsur...not luxury, but better than most - Located a short walk from the intercity bus terminal. The hotel is multi-story with restaurant, bar and swimming pool on the top floor...which has a panoramic view over Encarnacion and across the River to Posadas. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained...with a modern ensuite bathroom, with abundant hot water. Not many options for Restaurants, within walking distance. The staff were very helpful. We found other hotels, further out of town, which were better value.

- WILSON (2/5): O hotel fica no Paraguai! Cuidado. - Nada errado com o hotel, boas instalações, equipe simpática e café excelente. O problema começou com a Hoteis.com que nos indicou um hotel no Paraguai quando nós queriamos ficar em Posadas/Argentina. Nós só notamos isto quando estávamos no caminho de lá. Isto nos trouxe outro problema, desta vez mais grave: na hora de sair do país nós fomos achacados por três oficiais da fronteira que pediram propina para nos deixar passar. O argumento é que nós deveriamos ter pedido o documento de entrada quando entramos na véspera. Em nenhum momento na hora de cruzar a frinteira nós vimos alguém ou alguma placa com esta exigência. Nós seguimos o mesmo procedimento de Ciudad del Este que permite a passagem sem tramites para quem vai a menos de 50km da fronteira. O último perrengue foi ficar 45 minutos na fila para entrar de novo na Argentina e ter que abrir toda a bagagem para o oficial da Alfândega. Se o objetivo for ficar em Posadas esqueçam este hotel. Posadas é linda.
