Der Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und tat alles, um uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wir möglich zu machen. Das Nachtessen war hervorragend und das Frühstück sehr lecker. -

(9/5): Freundliches und sauberes B&B - Das Miskiwasi Bed & Breakfast ist ein kleines, ruhiges Hotel in Yangue im Colca Valley und guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen in der Gegend. Das Bitzer-Ehepaar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sauber und die Größe ist in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist sehr ansprechend, ebenso wie das zugehörige Restaurant. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig. Es ist auch ein kleiner Garten dabei in den man nach seinen Aktivitäten gut entspannen kann. Das Miskiswasi ist auf jedenfall zu empfehlen.

A nice variety for breakfast and dinner. The owners of Miskiwasi were so accommodating. They helped up with booking tours and taxis, and made sure we got to each place we needed to be. We would highly recommend doing Chimpa Fortress as we saw over 20 condors and enjoyed a hike at the same time (much cheaper then the Colca cross tour, less people and more condors!). Yanque is very small, a trip to Chivay may be of interest if you have the spare time.

The staff was very nice with us and our extraordinary requests (i.e., breakfast at 5.45am). The area was super quiet (so is the town overall). Also, super delicious juice in the already filling breakfast The only downside is that the radiator is not very powerful so you need to make sure you leave it on for a long time, and that the wifi signal is poor from the room. Still 9/10

Atendimento excelente. O quarto tido como amplo para 4 pessoas na verdade era em mezanino, um tanto quanto apertado. E o custo um pouco elevado comparado a outras opções na localidade.

Tuve un problema que nada tenía que ver con el hotel y Elar se implicó mucho en ayudarme. El restaurante es muy bueno. Os recomiendo comer o cenar en el No hay nada que no me gustase. Para el frío de la noche hay un calefactor en la habitación pero no pasas frío en absoluto

• Gilou (9/5): Superb - Very friendly owner and a good place to discover the Colca Canyon. Yanque is a very small city, but it is very practical to explore the Canyon, to go to the hot springs, and to go for a nice hike. The food is good too. /
• Rdcny (9/5): Does almost all essentials 110% Would stay here again - June (winter visit during very cold nights): This hotel and staff do almost all the essentials really well (a) HOT WATER - excellent just take your shower between apprx 130pm and 7pm (they use solar to heat water tank) and water pressure excellent as well; Bed and Room - comfortable, ample blankets AND electric space heater (so essential in the mountains of Peru/Chile). Space Heater is a game changer for sleeping comfortably at night; (c) Staff - really helpful...will carry luggage with a smile, always helpful. A family run business for 10 years now; (d) breakfast - good, acceptable but not exceptional. It filled us but you'll only get one scrambled/fried egg. Bread and juice great...and fruit (especially pineapple) wonderful. They also serve dinner - which is very good and as good as anything in town, but perhaps a few soles more here. We'd eat here again. The only negative is the Internet. At 12 midnight in the room, speed was acceptable - you could check email (slowly) and do basic stuff (but no big downloads/uploads). As soon as another person gets on the system (whether in room or main dining area), the Internet hangs...gets very slow. We discussed this with owner telling him that internet is essential for travelers more so than TV or a nice lounge. We suggested STARLINK (via the awful E Musk) that is used throughout the mountain areas in Chile/Peru - really fast (5G in some places) and multiple users at the same time suffer no slowdown in speed. Please, for everyone, upgrade the Internet! Otherwise a great hotel.

The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them. The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else. It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us! Nothing.

• Sofia (10/5): Mismiwasi is exceptionally good for a two star hotel! - It is a small, intimate and very pleasant place. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean and not overly decorated. The amenities went beyond a two star hotel (soap, shampoo and even blow dryer, things that one doesn’t necessarily find together in a three star hotel.) There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the place.

We came in the night with altitude sickness (due to our run over 5.000m on the way here) and hosts helped us a lot to deal with it. They support, help and do all to make our stay comfortable. Apartments are not really modern, but has everything you need. Especially hot water all the time. The food in the restaurant is not expensive and tasty. Bed was huge and comfy. And the nature outside is just gorgeous. Internet speed was not fantastic, but when I needed video streaming, I just used my network.

With heating, hot water and a very comfortable (albeit hard) bed. The outside area is so inviting and so green for such a deserty area. The guy could also cook very well. We had great food there, I was wondering how he could do alone everything what on this very elaborate menu. But he could and it was the most delicious food. Summary: It was a perfect place and the owner is just amazing. That we couldn't stay there forever.

Elar went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, from cooking us a delicious dinner when we arrived after 9pm to arranging all our transportation for us (both taxis and public buses). The food was delicious, the accommodations were delightful (very comfy big bed, hot water, great vibes), and the location was ideal for explorig Colca Canyon. Could not recommend more!!

We organised our transfer to and from the hotel with the owner. We didn't speak Spanish and the owner spoke little English but this was not a problem. We loved our 3 day stay.

• Maren (10/5): Lovely place to be !! - It is a lovely place within the Colca Canyon & run by the family. Extremely clean and guest oriented. Breakfast & Dinner was extremely good. When we came back from our treks we had been offered hot tea which we enjoyed. Nothing - we loved it!!
• Dariusz (10/5): A rare gem with cozy atmosphere - Our family of 4 stayed one day in this hotel. The whole property including internal garden is beautiful and very clean. We have been especially impressed by the dinner served after our trip to Colca Canyon. It was delicious with high end restaurant presentation. The staff was attentive and very helpful.

• Patricia (10/5): Fantastic stay at Miskiwasi - Everything about Miskiwasi was excellent. The accommodations are very comfortable and the restaurant is the best in Yanqui or Chivay. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
• Dürscheider (8/5): Urig und gemütlich - Das kleine Hotel in Yanque wirkt sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und unglaublich freundlich. Ein sicherer Parkplatz wurde uns in einem gegenüber liegenden Innenhof angeboten. Das Restaurant des Hauses ist sehr empfehlenswert.
• Luisa (10/5): - We stayed in Miskiwasi for one night on our way to the Sacred Valley and wished we could have stayed longer. Elar was a wonderful host, helping with our bags and ensuring we had hot drinks waiting for us in our room on arrival. Our stay was comfortable, quiet and restful. Breakfast in the morning consisted of freshly squeezed juice, a fresh fruit platter, warm buns, eggs done to perfection, butter, jam, tea/coffee and great service. We definitely recommend Miskiwasi and would stay again!!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great hostel in Yanque valley - The host is super helpful - helped us arrange tours of the Colcha Canyon, ongoing travel to arequipa etc. Showed us the walks in Yanque valley and was generally a star. The area aroung Yanque is stunning; the village itself is a bit ramshackle, but genuine. The food (Breakfast and evening meals) served at the hostel were all delicious. Basically if you're considering Yanque or Chivay as your base for Colcha then stay here. Loved it.

O sr Elar e a sra Paulina são muito amáveis, caprichosos em tudo, tão especiais que a Paulina foi em outra cidade comprar um chá de conhecimento local para a tosse da minha mãe, uma planta que só cresce a 4mil metros de altura e a ajudou muito!o sr Elar nos ajudou nos passeios desde muito antes do nosso embarque para o Peru!e quando estávamos lá nos deu dicas, reservou taxi, ônibus, tudo!Neste hotel tudo é um capricho, café da manhã farto!jantar a luz de velas delicioso, indico flan de quinua!é só você marcar a hora que tudo estará pronto com muito capricho!muito bem localizado, tudo perto, praça principal, lojas, águas termais!internet ótima!quarto muito limpo confortável, chuveiro muito bom e quente!adoramos tudo neste hotel!principalmente o atendimento e acolhimento especial!voltaríamos e recomendamos com toda certeza!
