L appartement était en rdc sur le côté donc à l écart et tranquille, très agréable à vivre. Un "kit" petit déjeuner est gracieusement fourni, ce qui est très appreciable. La cuisine n est pas très équipée pour qui veut cuisiner. Pas de condiments à disposition. Il faut avoir son shampooing et savon douche

Les propriétaires toujours attentifs à notre bien. La piscine trés propre et entretenu. Au calme tout en étant proche des commodité et trés bien placé pour pouvoir visiter l'ile et profiter des restaurants paris les meilleurs de l'île tout proche. • Trevor (9/5): We really enjoyed our Stay at this Lodge and felt very comfortable. Great Lodge, wish we had longer. - The Pool was great and open all night. The rooms were neat & spacious and bathrooms were clean, neat and included some toiletries. Kitchen well stocked with all essentials and more. Overall, very clean and tidy unit, and well serviced daily. Easy access in and out. Shops a stone throw away. Main beach just a few min drive away. Staff and hosts were friendly and accommodating and always available if needed. Stay was very pleasant, relaxing and comfortable. Our Flight was at 5am, hosts and staff insisted on seeing us out when we departed at 2:30am, which was really going the extra mile, even though they didn't really have to. Wish we had a few more days there. Thank you for a great stay. No Breakfast option. Lodge should look into a breakfast option for an even better experience. However, its relative to the price and we knew this before booking, So it's no big deal. Only petty issue encountered was payment method - I had obtained a Cash Mastercard from my bank and converted to Euro's specifically to pay for the accommodation, but because the card did not have my name printed on it, it was not accepted and I had to use my other Credit Card that had a name, but had to encounter additional bank charges for this, as well as charges paid to get the cash card but could not use it. I do understand the valid security concern to the Lodge though. Perhaps it should be communicated clearly to avoid this mishap in future, but it didn't take away from a Near Perfect stay. Very Happy

Es un apartamento muy amplio con una terraza grande con bonitas vistas a la exuberante vegetación y al mar. Todas las habitaciones son amplias, incluido los baños y disponen de aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo. El jardín y la piscina se cuidan a diario. Está ubicado a 3 minutos en coche de Beau Vallon. Nada.

Bananen als Begrüssung. Stabiles Internet. Supermarkt gut per Fuss erreichbar. Schon 30 Min Fussmarsch bis Beau Vallon. Weiss die Gastgeberin vorab Bescheid, dann fährt sie einem auch dorthin. Mit Mietwagen ca 5 Min.
• Наталья (9/5): - Тихое уединённое место. Красивый вид с горы на море. Предоставили поздний выезд в 12:00 вместо 10. Номер не был подготовлен в момент нашего заезда, хотя уже время заезда наступило. Были проблемы при оплате, управляющая отказалась брать доллары так как они были 2006 г. Отказалась брать карту, так как она была не на нас. Нам пришлось ехать в банкомат и снимать с неё деньги и платить местными рупиями. В остальном все было отлично.
• Айгуль (1/5): Подумайте, прежде чем выбрать отель через агрегаторы - Ничего не понравилось, особенно хозяева Собственники требовали оплату только наличными , хотя на карте были зарезервированы денежные средства. Вместо того, чтобы прокатить карту выгнали из отеля. Отношение к гостям отвратительное. Когда просили произвести оплату по карте путем приложения к терминалу , просто убегали в неизвестном направлении . Не могли их найти, на территории всего отеля не было сотрудников . Также обманывают , что пляж Бо-Валон в 10 минутах ходьбы, хотя до него идти по жаре 40 минут

• Alexander (10/5): - Super schöne kleine Anlage in der Natur mit Blick auf den Ozean. Wir hatten den Bungalow, der toll ausgestattet ist und zwei separate Bäder jeweils vom Schlafraum abgehend hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Besitzerin sehr freundlich direkt nach der Ankuft sind wir mit gekühlten Getränken empfangen worden. Haben auch eine sehr ausführliche Erklärung bekommen, wo wir was genau auf der Insel unternehmen können. Einfach perfekt.

• Julia (9/5): Fantastic Holidays at Bambous River Lodge - It's a beautiful place, very clean, well maintained and spacious and not far from the beaches. The staff is amazing. They are always there to make sure you're enjoying your stay. The RFID system to come in at the gate. you need to exit the car to touch the keys to the system, maybe a button to press to open the gate would be more convenient as the space is a bit tight. just a minor detail

All over, we liked it so much, that we came again just straight after, as we were disappointed of the other place we booked! The only little challenge was, that the water ran out from the shower area if you really used full pressure (in apartement S2) but frankly speaking nohting to complain - it was all over a wonderful time And you should have a car, because otherwise it is a bit a walk to the beach and restaurants.

• Rojin (9/5): Best stay at seychelles - The best choice for family or couples. Location slightly away from the main city side, but yet it is beautiful with amazing view and facilities. The owner is handling directly where you feel the welcoming nature. They could have options for food and ala carte options.
• Hwanjoo (8/5): 친절해요 - 모두 친절했고, 에어컨 잘되고 개미도없고 진짜 깔끔하게 잘 관리하신거같습니다. 다만 침대나 짧고 불편해서 숙면하기에는 적합한 메트리스는 아닙니다. 또한 식기가 매우 부족하고 작아요. 가족 단위로가서 요리를 해먹기에는 매우 불편함이있을겁니다. 장소가 애매해서 차가 필수입니다. 근처 레스토랑 위치도 애매해서 음식 주문하고싶었는데, 현금이 부족해서 주문 못했어요. 일부 금액을 더 내더라도, 카드가 된다면 좋을거같네요.
• Jennifer (10/5): A peaceful haven, so relaxing. - The friendliness of the owners,(Maryse & Joe) they offer, as standard, exceptional hospitality. They are always available for any questions about car hire advice, restaurant recommendations, knowledgable about the local environment and arrangement of airport transfers etc. In fact all staff were great, done their job quietly and efficiently. Rooms cleaned everyday, frequent change of bed linen and towels, they also supply beach/pool towels. We always felt very safe, the security systems were easy to operate also the owners are resident. Although there is a small supermarket 7 min walk from the property a car is essential but we knew that when we booked. Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

• Sara (10/5): Exceptional - The place is gorgeous. Quite close to Beau Vallon Beach, yet tranquil. Our 2-bedrooms apartment was lange, new and well equipped. Beds were super comfortable. We particularly appreciated that some food essentials were provided (milk, coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bread, marmalade). The beach of Beau Vallon can be reached by foot (10-15 min), the street to the apartments is not steep at all (you do not need a car!). On the main street run frequent buses, a trip to Victoria is quite easy and by bus considerably cheaper as by taxi. Maryse, Joe and their staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Nothing!

• Anders Alexander (10/5): - Detta var andra gången jag bodde på BRL och precis som förra gången är jag helnöjd! Bamboo River Lodge är vackert beläget i ett lugnt område nära Beau Vallon. Läget är sådant att tillgång till hyrbil är en absolut fördel. BRL öppnade för några år sedan och är fortfarande i toppskick, mycket fräscht och snyggt. Studion var mycket stor med uteplats och var makalöst ren och väldigt välutrustad med allt man kan tänkas behöva och vilja ha. Det finns en härlig pool som kommer väl till pass när den tropiska hettan kräver svalka. Ägarna och deras personal håller stället i topptrim och är diskreta men alltid tillgängliga och extremt hjälpsamma, personliga och vänliga. Jag kommer mer än gärna tillbaka och kallar gärna Bamboo River Lodge för mitt hem på den fantastiska ön Mahe. Tack för denna gång och på återseende!

• Trent (10/5): Fantastic, small hotel, helpful staff, could not have been better! - This small boutique hotel exceeded our expectations! From the time we checked in we were taken care of by the very helpful owner and staff. The access directly to the pool from our room and the patio table was a fantastic place for our breakfast. The area was very quiet with a fantastic view. The room was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the property well maintained. Our daughter enjoyed the pool every evening and we enjoyed the quietness after busy days of activities. We would recommend this hotel and would certainly return.
• Mira (9/5): Nice stay - - The apartment is great equipped, washing machine is a big plus! - super clean!! - Very comfortable bed - beautiful garden (pool towels would be nice, also considering the price) - very friendly staff - somewhat overprized. The facility is located on the mountain and everything is relatively far away - Cab to the apartment and cab to the airport were organized by the owner and each trip was charged 5 euros extra, as a service charge. We found this in relation to the cab costs too much and also a bit rude. The request for a cab was free of charge at all other accommodations in the Seychelles. We recommend that you organize your own cab. This is also really very easy there.

• Jovica (10/5): Exceptional - Great little property, we can highly recommend it! I must highlight that the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful! We were lucky to be there while there were no other guests, so we had the swimming pool all for ourselves :) Other than that - our room was big, comfortable and very clean. I managed to accidentally break a key (first time ever), which got stuck in the door. The hosts fixed it without making any issues about it. On the last day, after check-out, we've spent a day on the beach, as our flight was late in the evening. As my wife didn't feel very well in the morning (pregnancy morning sickness), the hosts surprised us once we got back for our luggage - and let us into our previous room (with all the new clean sheets/towels/etc) to take shower and get some rest, so we don't spend too much time waiting on the airport. All of this without any additional charge of course. All in all, we're really enjoyed our days, we're very grateful to the hosts for all the help, and we can highly recommend this accommodation!

• Lars (10/5): kst fridfullt och trevligt litet hotell. - Hotellet ligger ett par kvarter upp från stora vägen, väldigt lugnt och fridfullt. Vid sidan rinner en å fram och dess brusande har man som bakgrundsljud. Trädgården som vi kom rakt ut till från vårt rum var välskött och vacker med poolen i mitten. Personalen var mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma med allt vi behövde hjälp med. Kom vi hem med bilen när det regnade stod det någon där med paraply och hjälpte oss in. Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse där. Vi hade hyrbil, vilket underlättade. Har man inte det får man gå några kvarter från busshållplatsen ner vid vägen, men det fungerar säkert bra det också.

Las camas son muy comodas y la zona de jardin-piscina muy agradable y muy bien cuidada. El primer te dejan en la habitacion lo imprescindible para desayunar (pan, cafe, te, zumo, agua, mantequilla...)
• Verified traveler (6/5): Gemütliche Anlage aber nicht sehr Kundenfreundlich - Anlage, appartment waren gut und gepflegt. Auch das Servicepersonal waren gut. Leider kamen uns die Inhaber betreffend 3stornierten Nächten, nicht einen Schritt entgegen. Obwohl wir bereits am ersten Tag mitteilten, dass wir wegen eines Notfalls früher abreisen mussten. Dieses Nulltoleranz denken, finde ich nicht sehr Kundenfreundlich!!!

I've never experienced the level of service I received from everyone who worked here. The room I stayed in came with a full kitchen with washer machine, decent bathroom, and view by the pool which was nice. The service attendants were absolutely magnificent! I had piled some clothes in a washer before heading out to explore the island. When I returned, the attendants had not only serviced my room, but had washed and dried my clothes. The owner of the property and his wife were a delight to speak with and over all this was an awesome experience.

• Samuel (10/5): Väldigt bra val i ett lite lugnare område av Mahe! - Hade sett att detta boende hade högt betyg och det levde upp till det. Byggt från grunden av ägaren själv. Generellt saknar ju byggnader det lilla extra i detaljerna i detta landet jmf med Sverige. Men det var verkligen välbyggt och kändes nytt och fräscht. Det gamla paret som ägde stället och personalen var mycket trevliga. Gångavstånd till Bel Ombre jetty för den som vill ta båten över till Silhouette Island. Buss funkar bra och kostar 5kr men för detta boende och Mahe generellt så är bil inte så tokigt.

• Morris (10/5): I was surprised, Wonderful.!!! - Managed by Maryse, what a wonderful women. She and her staff were excellent and I'm not easy to please. I arrived late, 3am, and she was awake to greet me, then I was suppose to check out at 10 even though my flight left at 6pm, soon as I told her she told me to stay in the room until 3 so that I had a place to stay until it was time to go to the airport and she didn't charger me for it.. I almost always have something bad to say about every place I stay but not this time.. it was perfect, they made sure that my nerves were met but didn't push and crowd me. I highly recommended this place.!! Oh, and the pool was clean, everything was clean

• Nina (10/5): Great place to stay in Bel Ombre - Very modern, airy, new and convenient apartment. The service was very impressive and we felt very well taken care of. The pool was large compared to the other hotels we had stayed at on our trip and the gardens was very well maintained and enjoyable. There was a smaller beach close to the hotel that we preferred in comparison to the larger Beau Vallon Beach.
• Ingemar (10/5): Lugnt och skönt. Utmärkt service - Lugnt och skönt. Utmärkt service. Rent och fint. Perfekt vistelse för semester. Alla i familjen trivdes jättebra ( reste med 2 ungdomar 19 & 21 år) Fri wi-fi på rummen. Lite långt till " centrum" men det går lokalbuss eller taxi. Kan varm rekommendera detta boende.
• JimandSylvia (10/5): - Facility is new, clean, and wonderfully designed by the owner who is an engineer. Great folding glass patio door, excellent plumbing fixtures, large rooms and lots of storage. Pool is spotless. Must have a rental car. Owners very nice.

Air condition was perfect an the patio was super. The hosts Joe and Mariese were absolutely great, so too the other members of Staff. We can't wait to go back !
• Catherine (10/5): - So very clean and spacious rooms we were on the ground floor and had a lovely terrace looking on to the garden/pool area.Well equipped kitchen with a seating area. The bedroom has a large King Size bed with a sofa and flat screen TV. Remote control entry therefore you feel very safe. Great place as a base to explore the island
• FINA (10/5): - Es un apartamento encantador, super limpio, con un personal inmejorable, atento y preocupándose de tu bien estar a cada momento. El lugar es impresionante, con un río que por las mañanas junto al cantar de los pajaritos, te transporta al paraíso. tiene una playa muy acogedora a 5 minutos caminando y a 3 minutos la parada bus y una tiendecita que te soluciona cualquier cosa que necesites. Dar las gracias a Maryse y Joe, los propietarios, por la preocupación que mostraron para que nuestra estancia fuese inolvidable, realmente asi ha sido. Bambous River Lodge y las maravillosas Islas Seychelles "FOREVER".
• Catherine (10/5): Perfect - We spent ages researching places to stay on Mahe, and choose this due to facilities, cost and reviews etc. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is! (the best place we stayed during our Seychelles trip). The apartments are clean and spacious, with A/C, electronic safe for valuables, fully equipped kitchen (sink, dishes, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, and a washing machine), swimming pool, free wi-fi and on-site parking (the lodge is in a secure compound with an electronic gate - we felt quite safe), good location (near to Beau Vallon), daily cleaning service, staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were even provided with some complimentary food/drink supplies on arrival, it was perfect for self-catering style stays. Overall, a great place and good value stay for a Seychelles holiday.

• Archana (10/5): Home away from home - Recently visited Seychelles for a brief holiday and stayed at Bambous River Lodge with my mother. Seychelles has the most gorgeous beaches and Bambous felt like a home away from home. Situated close to one of the best beaches - Beau Vallon. The apartment is clean, comfortable, walking distance to the beach. This is a self-catering apartment cluster and has 2 grocery stores close by for all immediate needs. However, the best part of the stay were the owners - extremely welcoming and very helpful, ready with all information and even arranged for a car for a day long sight seeing during Easter holiday. Icing on the cake was finding water, juice, butter/jam & milk in the fridge to get us started. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone heading to Mahe Island.
