Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s a run down property, best thing is able to accommodate large amount of people and the bbq pit is right at the front of the chalet.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Your reason- Due to upgrading to digital line, no network at all. You should have an alternative for guest. What can you do in the night without TV programmes. Not even the mediacorp basic channel .
- Sharifah (2/5): Will not come again. - Wifi not working! Tv not working!
Water heater not working! The staff so rude, can't even satisfy the customer needs! Only give a nonsense complimentary little stuff like tables n fridge! Doesn't even feel like a chalet! Worst ever experience! Even the staff name of Nithia said he is the incharged, been talking to him about my needs not helpful only say can't do anything about it, like seriously incharged? Worst.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pls renovate and upgrade yr room and bbq pit too old toilet too old television not working toilet door so old even the lock faulty. Never provide
big dustbin or rubbish plastic bag. Price too expensive like hotel but
the place is very dissapointed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Tv is not working the day we check in.
Overall is ok
- Norah (8/5): - Great time but only the TV is not working during my stay there.
- Lina (6/5): - Old run down place.....not within expectation....disappointed
- Kumara (4/5): spoilt - To be honest the place its already a good spot where amenities are all nearby just a walking distance except furing the night time when the back gate are closed. For me to be paying that amount for just one night its not worth it. First of all towel with stains the telephone cant be used at all n the tv oh my god it is spoilt n the plug itself are broken. To think u guys gave us a list of anything that is spoilt or broken or eith any stains you have the right to deduct from the deposit money. You should have checked your room first before handing it to us. N lastly when i call the receptionist to inform them they told me they would send their guys over to check. Till midnight no one came to check. The unit is cherryloft blk J unit 02
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This chalet need renovation to look more attractive.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Quiet place to stay in, room and amenties are not so good. Look broken down
- Mommoie (4/5): - They indicated in their terms and conditions that guest have to lower down their volume after 10pm but they night shift staff is terrible at handling the guest noise level. They just dont bother despite several complaints being made.
- Sunny (2/5): - It's a mostly useless property's I have seen in my life anyone booking this property in free should also avoid going it
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property has lot of potential. It’s a heritage resort that has been well maintained but still could use some attention. The vibe is good. The pool is really amazing. The staff is friendly and inviting. The beds and linens we’ve very clean and smelled nice. The AC worked like a cham. So the critical elements are there. Issues are that the need attention to detail. The bathroom has a slight leak that needs attention. The kettles plugin did not match the outlet. There were toothbrush kits but no coffee or tea packets. There was soap in a dispenser but no shampoo. The curtain in the kitchenette was a little short for the windo (which I remedied by putting my suitcase there) If these guys get some of these basics handled they have a winner I would stay thee again - it’s quite, comfortable and convenient to the airport.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible ! Cockroaches, tv didn’t work , ceiling fan broke, wires everywhere, one room smelt of cigarettes, very expensive, pool had bandaids in it, whole place was dusty and filthy, refused to let us leave after paying through Expedia, Expedia offered no help and like 0.5% refund
Terrible experience
Don’t do it
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a good stay the place was beautiful and comfortable
- Lyn (4/5): - The resort is too old and not well maintained.
- keok (2/5): - The linens are old, tap is lose and the solar heater on the roof is leaking. Grass are tall and there are many mosquitoes.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Having a family gatherung and BBQ once in a while in a place so-so is ok.
- Hairiah (6/5): Interior - Need upgrading for interior
- SEW (10/5): - the resort is suitable for gathering, BBQ, nature
Good services
clean
- Nur (8/5): Not bad - The housekeeping very slow and not helpful most of the time.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Unexpected fees - Upon check in, the staff had difficulty in finding my booking as I had booked the chalet by Hotels.com. Eventually they found the booking tagged under Expedia. As with all hotel bookings, a deposit is required by the hotel management. However, Cherryloft only accepts cash deposits. There is a one dollar charge for every $100 transacted via NETS. I had two bookings so I was charged $202 instead of $201 even though it was one transaction. Unfortunately, no credit cards transactions were available. When asked about the surcharge for NETS transactions, the check in staff shared that it is their company policy and can be found in their website. I’ve checked their website and it only states cash deposits will be refundable upon check out. There’s no ATM available at their chalet buildings too.
The check in staff emphasized greatly of the house rules during checkin and their respective penalties. However, policing it was not carried out. So loud music was heard and chalet goers making a lot of noise well past midnight.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room door couldn’t be closed unless you exert force. Sofa was torn very badly and bbq pit outside wasn’t clean up properly eg. still have some kind of sauce on the pit sides.
- Angustia (8/5): Short vacation is okay - Comfortable and convenient for the whole family.
- Sani (8/5): - Grass too long,alot of lizard.
Love to come back.
Hope that it can improve.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The place was overpriced. The booking didnt go thru and i wasnt even notified of it.
- Denise (8/5): - We have fun and feel comfortable of staying. Will still plan again.
- Simon (4/5): Single benefit of a BBQ pit - Run down with poor management. Only highlight is its attached BBQ pit for family gatherings
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget chalet... Quality not there. - Budget chalet... Quality not there... Room condition quite bad.. Pretty rundown..
Water leaking....
*acceptable customer service good, able to change roomif needed*
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Tv channel cannot watch, air-con is not cold at night. Deposit will be charge $101 instead of $100 if you are using Nets. No 7-11 or NTUC nearby.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Nice place to stay but there is no wifi and the place is not so clean
- Bob (8/5): - Room air conditioning was good. Table tennis table was pretty decent. Down side is call for enquiry to the resort was unanswered for days prior to..
- Verified traveler (2/5): Cherryloft Review - Poorly maintained.
- Karin (4/5): - Close to airport but nothing else around we checked in at 9pm the $100 deposit was a bit of surprise read the fine print when booking as we didn’t have cash it went on our card and was told by staff it will take a week to refund. There was no where to grab a bit to eat in walking distance everything closed at 10pmThe room was very basic and need a lot of TLC
- wan (6/5): nice for small bbq party - one night stay it good enough.. for family gathering..
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fine stay - comfortable but not convenieny. it is a bit old and staff provide service a bit slow
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dissapointing - Book a chalet near the pool . But upon checking in , was given a chalet that isnt near the pool . Was told that its full house .
Stains on the pillow cover as well .
- babyface (8/5): Relax place to chill - Upgrade wifi so whole chalet can have wifi. Stronger wifi
- bombom (4/5): dirty place - with broken equipments and dirty areas. dusty as well. staff was not attentive to customers.
- nisah (4/5): In bad need of a makeover - Left with no choice for an end of the year bbq, we booked a quad duplex at $516 for 2 nights! Such a rate for such a rundown chalet.
Cherryloft was in a really bad shape. I was too scared to go barefoot even. Saw a dead cockroach beside the sofa. The toilet bath mat was so yucky i went home to take some of my used ones. Tiles so old and grimy. Wifi almost non existent..
But i wish to give credit to the owner. He stood by the pool watching over kids, even gave free ice icream from his minimart. I assume he is the owner coz I saw the workers taking instructions from him. One kid got injured and he told staff to get first aid and he attended to the kid. I think that is the saving grace.. other than that cherryloft needs a major overhaul..
- nur (4/5): Not impressive at all - Room no wardrobe
Toilet was dirty
Aicon not cold
Bedsheets not clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): Chalet - The living room should put a sofa bed or just a 2 seater sofa. Needs repainting. The toilet light should be bright cause it’s dim. Overall it’s ok though
- Verified traveler (2/5): RUBBISH 80'S RESORT - VERY BAD. HORRIBLE. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL.
- RAYMOND (2/5): Worst and wont book anymore - Its the 2nd time we stay but guess what . Our Next door was super noisey after 10:30. 2 diff groups !!!! One day worstest then another . Called front desk 3TIMES !!!! end up no use ! I end up have to call police in to settle. I brought my family over to relax end up cannot all the way until 1am+ !!! My baby is crying cause of the noise they causing !!!!.
- Wendy (2/5): It was absolutely disgusting. Room was filthy. - Very very disappointing. Thought it was very unsafe especially as we have a young child. People around us partied all night. You could not use the phone as there was no phone line working. On the website it said there was free wifi. There was no wifi. On arrival we were told not to stain the bed sheets and the towels so we used nothing. Thought that was very unprofessional. This is not the welcoming we thought we would have for our first holiday in Singapore.
- Mr. Johari (8/5): It's good location - Need to changes, upgrade units and furnitures...
- Abdul Malek (8/5): Experience in the Cherryloft Resorts chalets - A nice place for a vacation with family or friends during weekends.
Customer services are very good too as the staff of the chalets are very polite and very friendly. When the television is found to be not in working condition, the relevant staff quickly replace it with a new set for us to watch the TV programs instead of leaving us without any television to enjoy. This is very good.
However, the television's antenna seem to be not good as even the local channelsearch 4, 5, 7 and 8 TV programmes are very unclear in terms of visibility.
Hope the Cherryloft Resorts fix this and make customers more satisfied.
Thank you
- Scarlet (8/5): - it was good.. cnt expect too much on the facilities.. staff were very friendly n helpful..
- Charles (8/5): Accommodating for a large crowd - Relatively spacious for its price and has a personal BBQ pit too. However, some drawbacks to note are the locked side gates during the night and the $100 deposit.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Old but charming - Everything was fine.. just that the chalet is old and needs renovation and upgrade.
