We got the two rooms on the second floor and especially the master bedroom is perfect. You really get a Luxury continental feeling. NO COMPLAINTS

Edster58 (9/5): Most Enjoyable and Peaceful Stay - After many years of wanting to stay in Napier, we decided to do so on the weekend of the Napier Festival - wonderful event! Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. The amazing gardens and view from the balcony stunning. The apartment is very quite and super spacious too. Situated very centrally and within walking distance of the beautiful town and facilities. The one aspect I would upgrade are curtains on the windows and not only blinds. This would make sleeping in a little easier as it becomes light early in the morning.

She is a good person and the unit was neat. The only disadvantage for me was the fact that my room wasnt cleaned but she did explain to me that the unit was self-catering.
Marian (10/5): Spacious, comfortable room and the best host ever - I spent one night here on a work trip and the only thing I'm sorry about is that it was just one night. I will definitely be back. The room came as a pleasant surprise. It is very spacious, with a basic kitchenette and a comfortable sitting area for watching TV. It is sparkling clean, with quality white cotton bed linen and a mosquito net. The location is perfect within easy walking distance to the 24 hour Engen shop and a few good restaurants and breakfast spots across the road. John is a wonderful host who responded to messages timeously, and understands hospitality. When I explained that I had a bakkie load of photography equipment with me, and no energy to schlepp it upstairs to my room, he generously offered the use of his personal garage. Thank you, John! Hospitality like this makes such a difference.
June (8/5): - The accommodation was excellent in a lovely setting, breakfast and service excellent and the host very helpful. However the area is very quiet so not suitable for those wanting shopping, nightlife or a good choice of restaurants although the food in the ones we tried was excellent.

Die feine und liebenswürdige Hausbesitzerin ist äußerst Ortskündig und hat außergewöhnliche Empfehlungen. Ein wunderbares Frühstück, ein himmlisches Bett und 3 freundliche Hunden ergänzen das Ganze
