Unsere Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet. Michelle hat uns bei unserer Ankunft herzlich begrüßt und uns gleich Tipps für gute Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Alles war perfekt!

- Willem (10/5): An true idyll on the shores of the Knysna Lagoon - A fanstastic guesthouse, very friendly personnel. The location is great on an idyllic island in the Knysna lagoon, with no fences. You can use the canoes, kayaks and bicycles of the house, which we did, and it was amazing. The rooms are good but the common spaces are even better, and really add to a relaxed holiday atmosphere. Our best stay during our trip in South Africa. Nothing really.

The breakfast was very good, and the honor bar a great touch. We enjoyed the living room, the patio in front, all with a great view of the lagoon. Lovely morning walks along the water. Oh, and we had a surprise car wash the morning we left! We would absolutely stay here again.

Our room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a walk-in shower that for once did not leave a swimming pool all over the floor. The breakfast was perfect and in beautiful surroundings. The views over the lagoon are stunning. It's quiet and within walking distance of a fantastic restaurant/bar - Lindy's Table.

- travelin4funfools (10/5): Tranquility found - The Knysna Belle is an amazing place to stay. The staff treated us warmly from the start, and made us feel as if we were family. We stayed in the Captains Quarters, which I believe is their largest suite. It sits on the second floor, overlooking the harbor inlet. This room has a massive deck with lounge chairs, sofa, and other outdoor items needed to make your comfortable as you relax watching the tides come in and out. The room is extremely spacious, with a large king bed and sitting area. The bathroom ensuite is equally equipped. They offer paddleboards, bikes, and other items, but we did not use them this visit; however, i am sure they are very nice. Each morning the staff prepares an excellent breakfast. In our opinion, the Knysna Belle is the best place to stay when visiting this area.

The only blemish was that, as in so much accommodation, the duvet was tucked into the bottom of the bed. As a reasonably tall person, that always means I don't have enough duvet to cover all of me and the nights were cold. However, having an electric blanket mitigated this!

Food served was of high value and quality The staff will go out of their way to help or assist you. Rooms are big and kept well cleaned. We were thrilled we had chosen to book our stay here in Knysna and really wished we could have stayed longer (we even considered changing other plans to do so!) the staff were delightful and so helpful, bringing a boat down to the water for us when we wanted to kayak and offering to set up fishing gear for my boyfriend to use as well. Breakfast was generous and peaceful by the pool. We’ve recommend this place to friends and family travelling the garden route soon.

Michelle was super helpful knowledgeable and wonderful and she took great care of our comfort indeed. The place is beautiful set in a tranquil environment with Knysna heads visible and Mesmerising. Everything was perfect the room the bedding the bathroom was modern too. Lastly the most amazing breakfast was served by Michelle herself adding a nice and personal touch to our experience. I will definitely stay there again and recommend the Knysna Belle to everyone. ❤️❤️

- BarbStein1234 (10/5): a wonderful place to stay ! - The Knysna Belle Guest House is nicely located on Leisure Isle, giving a safe holiday feeling. Besides the wonderful and friendly hosts you can enjoy using the bikes and the kayaks. The Lagune is pretty safe and you will be surprised how shallow it is, so do not worry to go swimming or just walk through the shallow water. there is a little Bistro on Leisure Island serving excellent Sushi ! We were lazy, just did not want to go as far as Knysna Central but ....my God, the Sushi was GREAT !!! FANTASTIC !!! You must try the Crispy one !!!
