- Gerrit (3/5): - The location was great, and the property has a lot of potential. It felt like a place with a rich history and a unique personality. The room are in a shocking state of disrepair. Our first night was spent in a room covered in mould – on the walls, in the bathroom, everywhere. The ceiling was damaged and sagging, and the skirtings were swollen from moisture. We had two single beds shoved together, and one of the mattresses was so worn out it offered no support at all. It was unacceptable. Only after we complained were we moved to a different room for the next night, which was thankfully in better condition—but this kind of issue should never have happened in the first place.
- Ditaba (2/5): I booked for 2days where i felt the value of my money didn't meet my expectations. - It's nice quite mountainers area with beautiful views . They just need to improve on: quality toilet paper, face clothes needs to be changed are bad, bed linens are on bad state, provision of 500ml drinking water, bar fridge and air conditioner are necessary especially at this kind of weather. The seating area/lapa needs to be cleaned The beautiful views on beautiful garden.

- Errolk (8/5): Averal a very pleasant stay was had. - The location in the mountains was outstanding. One day was perfect and clear blue sky. The other was misty and cloudy - special in its own way. Fan in room was very noisy, sounded like a bearing had packed up. Lights very very dim - maybe stronger globes in one or two would help. Mirror above basin is meant for very short people. Both wife and i had to bend down to see our faces.

Breakfast was good ... we loved the fresh honey! The torch in the room wasn't charged and there were no candles, which was a problem during load shedding. I had to move the kettle and furniture to make coffee because the cord couldn't reach the plug point. The bed only had one side table. The room was small, but clean. It could do with a fresh coat of paint. The WiFi didn't work (even when the power was on)

- Lee (10/5): Heavenly views - Fantastic stay at Sherwoods with heavenly view. Rooms located overlooking valleys and opposite mountain range with stunning views. The property is very well maintained from the cut grass to the swimming pool and cosy little English style pub in the main reception area. Ideally placed from Tzaneen up a nice windy mountain road with once again epic views. Would gladly stay here again even with the cheeky monkeys sitting on the car roof
