- Shannon (8/5): Would stay here again just to see the people! ❤️ - The people and the place were exceptional! Quaint and quiet with super friendly staff. Anita was so helpful and had a great sense of humour. Wish we could have spent more time with you! The rooms could use a small investment in some updates. Mattresses were a little uncomfortable.

- Hans Achim (9/5): - Die Unterkunft war super. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Das Auto konnten wir sicher auf dem Gelände abstellen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war gut. Uns wurde ausnahmsweise in der Unterkunft ein 3 Gänge Menue serviert, dass sehr gut war. Anita war einfach super, vielen Dank.

- Ladi (7/5): Cozy spot and good value - The breakfast was good and filling. I enjoyed the made to order eggs and the delicious bacon. Anita was an outstanding person who took great care of us. Ensuring we had everything we needed. She went the extra mile to get us a safari at a nearby game lodge. The ceilings and ceiling fans could be dusted Safety cones to help people see that work is being done on the patio because I saw a woman fall. There are goats next door that can smell.

- Andreas (4/5): Nicht noch einmal. - Das Guesthaus hat einen Pool und einen großen Parkplatz auf dem Gelände. Security rund um die Uhr. Ruhige Lage und dennoch zentral gelegen. Dieses Guesthouse hat seine besten Tage definitiv hinter sich. Es ist in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt. Unser Zimmer roch sehr muffig, was sich auch durch intensives lüften nicht ändern ließ. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist der Rede nicht wert. Kaffee und Saft waren ungenießbar. Dann lieber ein paar Euro/Namibia Dollar mehr ausgeben und ein paar Schritte weiter ins River Guesthouse.

- Lange (4/5): Die Unterkunft ist nicht empfehlenswert. - Die Unterkunft hat eine gute zentrale Lage, in direkter Nachbarschaft ist ein brauchbares Restaurant. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück durchaus angemessen. Die AirCon war kaputt und der Deckenventilator sehr laut. Der Pool war grün und undurchsichtig. Meine Buchung konnte erst nicht gefunden werden und beim Checkout wurde erst ein höherer Preis verlangt, wie in meiner Buchungsbestätigung ausgewiesen war. Nach Reklamation erhielt ich aber den ausgewiesenen Preis. Die Nachtruhe wurde durch andere lärmende Gäste gestört. Es war extrem hellhörig.
- Ronny (10/5): Tolles Hotel mit Pool zu einem sehr guten Preis - Die Lage ist super und das Hotel ist einfach, hat einen relativ großen Pool und Zimmer mit Aircondition. Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis! Guter Parkplatz im geschützten Innenhof. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist das Kashana Restaurant mit einem absolut hervorragenden Oryx Steak auf der Speisekarte! Für den Preis kann man einfach nichts negatives sagen.

- Tim (8/5): very happy would definitely use again. - Staff were very friendly and helpful and even allowed us to stop and use the pool after we checked out. There is a restaurant next door at a different hotel. Bed were clean and comfortable and breakfast was nice. The swimming pool had chemicals in as I could smell them, and the staff cleaned it before we used it, but it was so green you could see the bottom. I am no expert but it made me question if the water needed to be changed.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the surroundings peaceful. There is a large outside space with tables and chairs under the trees around the swimming pool. Ein schöner, sauberer Pool. Zimmer sauber mit ausreichendem Platz und kleinem Schreibtisch. Die Tür hat häufig geklappert. Zum Frühstück gab es abgepackte Marmelade und nicht viel Auswahl.

Nice courtyard to sit in, safe parking, quiet location but still in walking distance to everything. Good breakfast buffet, nice staff. Mattresses were a bit old and WiFi had a „german character“ :-)

The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended a nearby (3 minutes walk) restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed a full English breakfast before hitting the road to Etosha.

- Darrell (9/5): Great guesthouse with nice facilities and very competitive costs - Excellent guesthouse / hotel in the small town of Omaruru where we stayed for two nights after our stay in the campsites and lodges of Etosha. The guesthouse has excellent rooms and while break fast is simple there is a good choice of hot and cold food and staff are very courteous and helpful. There is a good swimming pool and table tennis table for a bit of activity as well as fruit trees in the ground which makes for a nice quiet environment. The town is a few minutes walk across a large dry river bed, all in all very good value and great stop off on your way out to the coast after Etosha Nothing really troubled us, the guesthouse does not serve evening meals but there is an excellent and very cheap restaurant next door where we ate two nights in a row at amazingly good price and had a great range to choose from.

- Jaco (7/5): A clean place to overnight - The room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Close to the nearest restaurant. It was very noisy. People coming in through the gate late at night passed by our room and talked loudly. The guests moving beds at 1h00 right above us, woke us up and we could not sleep for the rest of the night after a long day on the road. My name was spelled wrongly on their system, so we could not initially find our booking.
