- Lisa (2/5): Disappointing - The view from the front of the property was fantastic and the breakfast was acceptable. The room was tired and needed much maintenance. The carpet, bedding and furniture were marked and stained, there was no hot water for showers in the morning, the view was dreadful and we expected more for the money we paid. We booked this property based on the tv coverage and the standard was nothing like it obviously had been when run by the previous owner.
- Williams (8/5): Lovely Wedding venue - A very lovely wedding venue, all very well organised. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrive to "book in" they told us we didn't have a room as it was a wedding, and the bride and groom would have booked out the whole venue. I'm guessing booking.com would know this is a wedding venue but still took my money. The staff had a chat with the bride (my niece) and groom to ask if it was ok to give us a room. We were given a suite that was very nice and very comfortable. It was just a little embarrassing in the beginning.

- Wanda (4/5): Nice area, staff awful and dirty bedding - Area and surroundings My bedding was dirty with what looked like someone had wiped their nose in it. Only 2 cups in a 4 person bedroom booking which meant not enough milks or sugars Blonde and bobbed hair receptionist/wedding organiser was awful, rude, argumentative when I told her about the bedding being dirty. She was very very rude.
- Peter (3/5): Probably my worst night in a hotel ever - Big carpark Everything. I think I was the only person staying in the hotel which was odd but it was not an enjoyable experience. Not one other person and only one member of staff working. Check in was OK but I had to ask about breakfast, which started late at 8:30am and no option for anything earlier or to takeaway as I was told. No restaurant or food available in the evening and the only member of staff there didn't know anywhere to go and eat or try. Room was SUPER hot due to a towel rail go fully! Made me sweat when I brushed by teeth or even lay in the bed! Room had only a view of some pipes and no curtains, just an office style blind. Dirty sheets Poor tea and coffee facilities. Shower was poor, cold and only worked when you got out and pulled the power cord on and off like you were at your grans house or something. Not sure the room had been vacuumed and the cabinet was pretty dirty. When I checked out the receptionist came to get the key in his pyjamas with no shoes on which I found strange.

The breakfast itself was lovely but had to ask for sugar, butter and tomato ketchup. Also I did not expect to have self service for tea, coffee and toast for the price. Also we had to pay the £200.00 fee even though we said that we had already paid for the visit. T

- Clare (5/5): 5 star for looks only. Everything else disappointing, basic and nothing special. - Room was lovely and clean and great location. Great views and location.parking was also very good. Breakfast not great , hot food just warm tasted like been on hot plate for a while.All three of us did not enjoy. No fruit,yogurt or orange juice , just very limited and cheap. Had room for 3 but only 2 cups provided, toiletries consisted of one mini shampoo a half used bottle of bath /shower gel and lotion very poor. Tv just basic channels,no dvd or cd player as stated.Hotel was 5 star for looks only. Was disappointed in everything else no luxury items in room and everything provided very budget. If you want space, nice decor and lovely views then couldn’t fault this hotel , just don’t expect more than that as will disappoint .

Cleanliness - We stayed in the family room and found the pillows had hairs from someone else. Also, leftover foods inside the fridge. Obviously, the cleaning standard of a Hotel is not great. Overall, the building was decorated only for good photos as it is located on a hill with a good view. But missing out on the maintenance side as I feel like staying overnight at a run-down place.

Fantastic breakfast, top notch fresh produce and high quality food severed at the front of the property in the winter garden which made it very special and magical. Highly recommend staying! Very well managed and decorated property. Best place and location to stay in Snowdonia. Breakfast was just an average, there were only one server. They need to improve their quality of breakfast.
- Mark (10/5): Simply stunning B&B in a beautiful location. - The location and stunning scenery were a perfect mix at the end of a long day motor biking through Wales. Lisa our host was extremely attentive and although pressing a bell to get served at the bar wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, it suited me and my brother perfectly. The decor, rooms, bathroom and ample parking meant we had a cracking stay. Add to the a brilliant breakfast and you can’t go wrong. A point to note, this is a Wedding Venue that offers B&B at the weekends so do not expect the wedding venue atmosphere when the clue is in the title B&B. Stating this as I saw another couples slightly dismayed but not sure what they expected as the website is clear and Lisa even contacts you to confirm B&B only. Lisa was brilliant, but as a one person band she had to do some running around. Good luck to her recruiting some more staff which will relieve the pressure on her and help the business.

- Patricia (9/5): A lovely hotel . - The lady who booked us in and Dave were very welcoming and helpful . The situation was beautiful . There was a lack of furniture . The photos of the Criccieth suite show 2 sofas and a chair but there was just one small sofa . There was no chair in the bedroom to put clothes onto . Even though it was a saturday night there was no evening meal , though a nearby inn ( recommended by the lady who booked us in ) gave us a lovely supper .

I have gluten allergy and they’ve done the best to have options for me. Extremely friendly and kind staff. Highly recommended! The shower didn’t work a few times, but the manager gave us another room right next to ours straight away. She left it available even when our shower was already working, which was really kind.

All kept alive by Jane your host and proud owner. From the second you walk through the door to the moment you leave you are taken care of, nothing is to much to ask the staff and Jane they go above and beyond. very attentive and welcoming. The locally sourced fresh ingredients help make the food outstanding put together by “chef” who clearly has a passion for food, presentation and what he does. Jane is a beautiful lady keeping the history of the Manor House alive ❤️ myself and my fiancé soon to be wife will always have special memories there and will definitely recommend to anyone who wants a perfect break with stunning views, food and company. Jane is a credit to herself and her passion and kindness shines through every visit. There’s NOTHING not to like about the Manor House
