• Kaat (9/5): Leuk! - Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten en dat was ideaal. De kamer was groot genoeg en het bed ook, kraakte alleen een beetje. We hadden ook een heel mooi zicht op de zee! Het personeel was super vriendelijk en de kamers werden elke dag proper gemaakt. Heel goed verblijf! /

Sehr informativ das Begrüßungsgespräch mit Rainer über die Umgebung und Restaurantstipps. Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Das Wetter hätte besser sein können, den Poolbereich konnten wir leider nicht nutzen.

• Nicole Floringer (10/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Willkommensgetränk. Auf unserem Zimmer erwartete uns ein Sekt mit persönlicher Notiz und ein geschmücktes Bett mit Rosen für unsere Flitterwochen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Lage war zentral zu Restaurants und nah am Strand. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen. Dankeschön!

• Sahra (10/5): Gastgeber mit toller Unterkunft und viel Expertise über den Ort und Umgebung! - Rainer und seine Frau Henrietta geben sich die allergrößte Mühe einem den Aufenthalt besonders zu gestalten. Es gibt eine liebe Begrüßung mit vielen Tipps rund um Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Auch hat Rainer mit uns eine kleine Township-Tour gemacht und konnte uns sehr viel erklären und erzählen. Das Frühstück war super, da sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön. Genauso wie die gesamte Anlage. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit.
• John-Paul (7/5): Pleasant stay but no working AC and below par breakfast is at odds with everywhere else we stayed - The room and the shared balcony were large and the views were great. The pool was refreshing and very clean. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The AC was broken/not turned on during the evenings throughout our stay so it was very hot overnight which impacted on sleep. We heard other guests complain about this. Also, the breakfast was several tiers less nice than other breakfasts we had at similar stops during our travels along the garden route.
• Georg (10/5): - Zimmer sind schön gross und sehr sauber. Ausstattung Bad, Bett, Fenster wären auch in Deutschland eine 9 - 10 Bewertung. Sehr gutes Frükstück, nette Gastgeber. Lage mit Sicht aufs Meer. Das der Aufenthalt so kurz war. Da kann man gerne auch länger bleiben und entspannen.
• Nicholas (9/5): Very comfortable. - Lovely room, cleanliness, bathrooms and bedding excellent. Payment with a card machine would be more efficient and faster.
• Beate (9/5): Schönes persönlich geführtes Guesthaus! - Wir wurden herzlich von den deutschen Betreibern begrüßt. Das Zimmer "Elephantsuite" war sehr groß und hell eingerichtet, auch das Bad war recht groß. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war sehr gut mit frischem Obst und einer kleinen Wurst- u. Käseecke (alles frisch) und frisch gebackenem Brot. Gewünschte Eierspeisen wurden am Tisch abgefragt. Rainer hat uns mit vielen Tipps (Restaurants/Aktivitäten) versorgt. Die Wanderung über den Robberg ist u. E. ein Muss und mit 65–75 ZAR (ca. €3,50–€4) für Erwachsene echt günstig!! Auch beim 4. Mal ist es noch ein Erlebnis!! Das italienische Enrico Restaurante liegt etwas außerhalb, aber ist zum Sonnenuntergang sehr zu empfehlen. Unbedingt vorher reservieren - trotzdem muss man sich auf eine kleine Wartezeit einstellen bis man einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommt.

Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter, Die Lage und Aussicht ... Das Zimmer "Elefant" ... Der Pool, in dem man wirklich schwimmen kann ...und das gute Frühstück u.a. mit frischen "Brötchen" ...sehr aussergewöhnlich ! ABSOLUT NICHTS !
• Christoph (10/5): Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt - Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, mit großen Zimmern, guter Ausstattung, Pool, großen Terrassen und einer tollen Aussicht mit Meerblick. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben gute Tipps für Restaurants, Ausflüge und zum Thema Sicherheit. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und es wurde auf Wünsche und Besonderheiten (kein Gluten) Rücksicht genommen. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, um zum Strand und zur Innenstadt zu gelangen.

• MARCO (10/5): Beautiful stay in Plett with lovely sea view - Very large and comfortable room, with a beatiful sea view and a lovely terrace. Easy parking inside the property and beautiful pool with pool bar. Exceptional owners, I could have stayed days hearing Reiner and his fascinating stories Breakfast is good but not exceptional, with limited options. To be fair, this is what you normally get in guesthouses and B&Bs in the Western Cape so absolutely nothing to complain about.

Das Gastgeberehepaar ist sehr bemüht, beantwortet ausführlich offene Fragen, macht Hinweise für Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück ist mit frischen Früchten und unterschiedlichen Eiervarianten sehr abwechslungsreich und gut. Das Auto steht sicher auf dem geschlossenen Gelände. ./.

Really scrumptuous breakfasts on a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. Spacious rooms, comfy beds. Well kept pool and garden. Our flatlett, the Giraffe was a bit too close to the owner's section of the house, it is not an issue, just needed a tiny bit more privacy, but not a trainsmash at all. Parking is a bit tight and not undercover.2

Wir lieben das geräumige, gepflegte Zimmer mit großer Terrasse, tollem Ausblick auf das Meer von oben, das hervorragende Frühstück im Freien, die netten Gespräche mit den sehr freundlichen Gastgebern, die ganze Anlage mit schönem Pool. Reiner had his own little bar set up by the pool where he would chat about the many countries he has worked in around the world, with flags to test your knowledge! Very nice.

Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und die Aussicht auf den Ort und die Bucht sehr schön. Als wir ankamen, funktionierte die Klingel nicht. Aber wir sahen eine Person im Garten, die uns dann einließ.

• Levin (7/5): Besides the lack of airconditioning the establishment was good and the staff were excellent. - The manager Natasha was brilliant. Her breakfasts were excellent. Her personality and humour were great. The room was kept spotless There was a constant problem wiith the aircon unit in the room. Despite several complaints we were disturbed to learn that the owner decides when to feed power to the unit. At an establishment of this standard we would expect to have airdonditioning 24 hours a day. On the hottest day of our stay, 32 degrees, the aircon was only switched on at 20h00.

• Natasha (10/5): Exceptional - The peace. The owners and manager were very friendly and welcoming. The squeaky stairs. The front door was also very hard to open.

• Brenda (9/5): Superb - Welllocated, good breakfast, friendly, clean and v comfortable. Stairs are tricky with luggage. Would have loved an espresso coffee machine in my room!

• Evgeniya (9/5): Little gem - We came late and escaped early morning but we enjoyed every minute of the stay. That was one of the most welcoming place we've been to in South Africa. Our host was super and ade us fell at home. Bbq available, spacious and very clean room. The apt is near Robberg park and this place is a perfect location for those going on hike. I can not imagine anything to ask for. Everything is perfect for such price.

• Robert (6/5): - Das war bisher meine teuerste Unterkunft in Südafrika für einen mittelmäßigen Aufenthalt. Leider hatten die einen Wasserschaden, also war die Dachterrasse nicht nutzbar. Morgens öffnete ich den Vorhang und der Bauarbeiter stand mir gegenüber. Das hat die auch nicht weiter gestört, dass ein Gast da war. Das hat den ganzen Aufenthalt vermiest. Ich kann nur abraten, zu teuer und man hat immer ein ganz beklemmendes Gefühl.
• Rawstorne (8/5): Fun and Social - The views from the room were stunning, the pool and bar area was very cool. Enjoyed the feel of it. Breakfast was nice and staff always checked to make sure we had everything we need. Host reccomended some nice things to do and is a very hospitable guy. Pool was cold and TV wasn't working but was an easy fix. Host said they were in the middle of fixing pool heating. Other than that it was a great stay!

We found La La Panzi very relaxing and we could do our own thing . Excellent finishes throughout . Really enjoyed staying in beautiful Plettenberg bay .

• Karlin (10/5): Quiet and spacious - We had the best stay here. Very quiet. Spacious rooms. Great service and scrumptious breakfast. The only thing I personally did not like was the stairs. We had to struggle to get our big suitcases up to the rooms. But that is all.

• Jan-willem (7/5): Good - Nice big room. Very nice swimming pool, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Owner has engineered electra in such a way that there was no hinder because of load shedding. Appartement was quite warm. Due to electra-engineering(see above) was the Aircon sort-of switched of so only working like a fan. Furthermore was the WiFi really slow and not working at certain times.

• Heather (8/5): Nice guest house in good location but spoilt by difficulty in getting luggage up & down stairs - Staff were very friendly and location was good. There are 2 flights of stairs from the car park to the rooms. We were 2 couples all over 70 and there was no-one to help with luggage.
• Thomas (8/5): Large, clean room - Nice, clean, big room with sea views in the distance. The host was very friendly and has some great stories! He also recommended some good places to eat and things to do which was really helpful. The balcony runs across all rooms, so other guests can walk past your room/ bathroom (not very private).
• Brian (8/5): An enjoyable stay in a convenient location. - The ladies looking after us and serving an excellent breakfast were wonderful. Carrying luggage to our bedroom on the second floor up two flights of stairs without any offer of assistance was disappointing.
• Raquel (4/5): Change advertising to match reality. There is no Air Con - Comfortable spacious room , beautiful views, breakfast NO AIR CONDITIONING. Let me start off by saying the B&B is very cute and well maintained and the rooms are great. However, we booked this place bc it advertised AC . It is summer and very hot. We asked why AC wasn’t working and the owner said he would not turn it on. He told us we had to sleep the door wide open all night. That was the only way to cool down. If guests are uncomfortable and ask the B&B to turn on the AC which is advertised everywhere - it is crazy that they would say no. It is insane to expect your guests to have the door completely open all night in a foreign country that they are not familiar with. The second night we finally got a fan but that is hardly cold air. We didn’t sleep well. Also it is advertised as sound proof on booking.com but it’s only sound proof if you can close the doors. So we were watching a movie and one of the people next door came over and popped his head in our room and asked if we could turn it down. 1) NO PRIVACY 2) you can’t even watch TV at night bc you’ll disturb the neighbors bc the door has to be open or you’ll die of a heat stroke. So with that being said we had a not great/OK stay . It was just not what was expected. If they change the advertising to match reality than people would know what to expect and not be so disappointed like we were. With that being said everything else was really nice. It was just hard to enjoy when we were hot and unable to cool down in African Summer . The breakfast was good and the views are nice but as you can see in the video you have absolutely no Privacy from the back so just be prepared and if you’re fine with no privacy soundproof or AC then it really is a nice place to stay.

• Jonas (10/5): Brilliant! - Rainer and his wife are excellent hosts. The B&B is very clean, nice and the pool / bar area is perfect for relaxing and getting in contact with other guests or Rainer. In fact Rainer is the best story teller of the world, simply because he has almost seen the whole world during his travels. We even stayed with him at the pool bar until 3 am talking although the plan was only to grab a welcome drink. Thanks so much for the wonderful time we had with you - we simply can highly recommend this place in all manners!

• Clint (7/5): Good - Great / interesting hosts Clean rooms The AC was not working for the duration of the stay. We only found out when we arrived. At least 3 of the nights during our stay was very uncomfortable because of the heat. I made it clear at the time that AC was essential and a big part of choosing the establishment. Reiner gave us a 2.5% discount for the inconvenience. But that could not make up for the issue. He should have indicated before we came / at least given us options / hired a portable AC etc.
