The bed was extremely comfortable, and waking up to a breathtaking sea view with my first coffee—whether from the bed, sofa, or terrace—was unforgettable. The internet was fast and reliable, and the little kitchenette was perfect for warming up takeaways and making coffee. The communal braai area was also great, with a sink and space to prepare meals. The sea view from the bed each morning was the perfect way to start the day. The kitchenette had everything I needed for a relaxed stay, and I loved enjoying quiet dinners on the terrace under the fairy lights. The spacious bathroom and shower made it feel like a luxury retreat.

The room itself is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed with a comfortable sofa, desk and TV, making it perfect for both relaxing and unwinding. Waking up to the breathtaking sea view from the bed, enjoying that first morning coffee while watching the ocean, was truly unforgettable. The small kitchenette is incredibly well equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine—ideal for bringing back takeaways and enjoying a completely relaxed, no-cooking-needed getaway. One of the highlights was the private terrace, adorned with charming fairy lights and perfectly sheltered from the wind and rain. It created the most romantic setting to sit back and take in the stunning sea views, no matter the weather. The spacious bathroom, with its lovely shower, added an extra touch of comfort and luxury to the stay. Every detail has been carefully considered, making this the perfect escape. We can’t wait to return!

- JOY (5/5): I am writing this on behalf of Mrs Meg Barbour as I did her booking but didn't go with her. - Breakfast wasn't provided - supplied our own View was spectacular. Staff - Cornelia was very helpful - gave me her mobile no. and when I phoned after 7 pm she came to sort out the TV. She was also worried about the steep staircase and offered to change our room, but we liked the view. Irene and her husband Ozwin were also very helpful carrying our luggage for us. Staircase too steep. No washing-up facilities in the room so had to clean dishes in the bathroom - not pleasant. We understand that renovations are taking place, which is good.

- 7 (1/5): Improvement needed - The ocean view is magnificent! The pictures are very deceiving. Walls are cracked and almost everything is neglected. Mattresses are worn out, bedding is too small for the bed. Towels have stains and are torn with holes. White curtains are noticeably dirty on the inside Toilet is leaking on the floor and the room guide says there are 18 Open view channels, but only 3 were found. Outside communal area is equipped with table and chairs but the wood needs a drastic sanding and varnish

Dirty, smelly, stove dirty and out of order, shower full of mold. Bedbase covers dirty and missing. Cocroaches lying around. We did not sleep there!!! Can't believe that someone expects that you should sleep in such a place. I'm expecting a refund.

- Anna (7/5): Comfortable stay with a beautiful sea view. - Goblins Inn has several rooms with an excellent view opening on a big stoep. It is completely separate from Goblins Creek and about a block down the road from each other. Managed by the same “in residence” couple. The rooms are well equipped with everything one might need. Lovely, well laid out, convenient bathroom. The ceiling fans are a necessity to be rid of the ever present mosquitoes! Opening the double doors is just gorgeous although it does relinquish all privacy. There too are two very nice communal spots for having a braai. The ample parking has shade but is not locked at night though it did seem to be safe enough there. While the balance between neglect and a bohemian look is a very very fine line, and I loved the plants in eclectic pots, I did think they could do a little more regarding the exterior to make it look a bit more fresh and welcoming.

- Suzi (8/5): Overall, its a wonderful place. People very friendly - Worth your money - The area is very quiet, clean and tidy. The Beach, is excellent and very clean. Ideal for children as well(open ). The close-by shop is just an additional bonus and it basically have everything you looking for - from the smallest item to Big. I will revisit them again. Just the crockery bit chipped(needs to be replaced), Gas tank was empty, couldn't use it. Add cups and saucers and additional mugs(maybe 6 in total). No Milk jar.

The first room that was allocated to us had these old, dirty yellow chairs, on eyesight as you walked in that raised my eyebrows. Then the smell hit you. I was groused out. They moved us to another room. Smell was still there but is was sort of cleaner. We where two but the utensils where just for one. We stayed for four nights, but I kept feeling duty. Was not `n nice stay except for the location. Don`t think I will stay there again.

- Magaretha (6/5): Overview Goblin' s Inn - It was conveniently located but were only guest rooms that are rented out. It contained no hotel facilities and there were no one to receive us on arrival as no reception is at the facility. Rooms were clean but not fully serviced as expected. It has enough plugs for cell phones etc that were a bonus. Rooms have a nice seaview.
- Peter (4/5): - Very basic. Water leaking from guest room above, hole in ceiling and bucket. Entrance not finished. Sink / cupboards chipped. No view from bottom room. Back windows to neighbors backyard. Very basic neighborhood. New fence across the road, probably for new / extension of existing security complex. Still reasonably clean, did not smell. Car parked in front of room, did not feel unsafe. On balance appeared comparatively expensive for the setup.
