Guest Reviews

- Diana (10/5): - Internet fast, rooms well appointed and very clean, with Japanese toilets. Easy access from Incheon airport with limo bus. Close to buses & subways. Would definitely stay here again.
All staff were very nice & helpful.
- KEZIAH HOPE (8/5): - The location is good. Very accessible via bus or train. You also get a discount at the cafe attached to the hotel. If you are staying on a Sunday there is flea market close by
The only problem we had is that during our stay, another guest was smoking inside their room and the smoke would go through the vents. We had to quickly leave the room as we have a toddler with us and prefer not to inhale second hand smoking. I'm not sure if it's implied "no smoking indoors" that's why there are no signs for it. But I do hope they indicate it somewhere. This didn't just happen one time, this occurred at least 3-4 times during our 10-day stay.
- Graham (10/5): - Great place to stay at a reasonable price in this area of Seoul. The breakfast that was included was excellent, offering both western and Korean inspired options. Staff and cleaners were very considerate and left extra towels and water outside of our room while we were out.
I would consider staying here again in the future.
- Carlos (10/5): - Very good place for a short stay. Close to the metro station and about 20 min from Seoul main station. Staff is helpful and friendly. Facilities are modern and they even lend you an umbrella if it is raining. Nice details.
- Dzenana (6/5): - Hotel was just ok. The rooms are nothing special and have carpet in them that is stained. The breakfast was ok but I think they just reheated leftovers.
- Eileen Yi Lin (8/5): - Nice and clean room.
- Ewa (8/5): - Nice breakfast with various options. The room was also nice and the staff very friendly. The air conditioning was a bit noisy.
- Wai Ling (10/5): - This hotel was near the Sinseoldong Subway Station making it very easy to get to places by public transportation. Across the road from the hotel between the hotel and the subway station was a really excellent restaurant, Hymchan Jangeo. Something really nice about the hotel: there was a foreign currency exchange machine right in the lobby. Very convenient. The only complaint that I have is that the room was a little bit cramped. Given all the other positives, however, I really recommend this hotel.
- Bonghee (2/5): - I really satisfied with service and facility.
- Ishmaël (8/5): - It was our second time staying there. It's a great hotel, the beds need upgrading, they're too soft. The room was a bit small but overall it was a nice hotel.
- Teresa (9/5): -
- alicewN4295YK (8/5): Good location, easy access to public transportation - Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast variety is good and fulfilling.
If you are travelling from or to airport, they are really close to the bus stop which will make your life a lot easier.
For their price point, I believe this hotel provide good value for your money. Will recommend this hotel to who is travel on budget but still want a clean/quiet hotel to stay:)
- daniel sung hun (8/5): - Overall worth staying as they have basic necessities; breakfast was very ideal and delicious. Wish the hotel had better gym equipment, other than treadmills; nobody uses incline bike machine, found it to be waste of space.
Friendly staff !
- david (10/5): - This place is a gem. Great location and in great shape. But the clincher is the breakfast. It was outstanding. If I ever get back to Seoul, I will be staying here again.
- JONG (10/5): - Nice place to stay, clean, friendly, safe, quiet, comfortable room, decent breakfast except that the breakfast place seemed understaffed such that refills of food were slow, fruit juice is low quality and fruits were either bananas or orange only…but overall very good value hotel.
- Tony (6/5): - Clean. Fantastic breakfast. Location was alright. Room was a little small.
- Carmelo (8/5): - Nice hotel, good service.
Breakfast included but menu didn’t vary on our 2 week stay.
- Demetrius (10/5): - Good location, I would stay here again!
- Sandra (10/5): - Hotel close to metro stop, could walk to a number of restaurants and also the stream to walk along.
Good facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend the IBC for visitors to Seoul
- Stephanie (10/5): Convenient, Safe, and Clean - Overall we loved our stay at IBC Hotel. Check in was easy. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The fridge was continuously stocked with water. Fresh towels and the shower essentials provided. The location was a short walk over to the subway station (Sinseol-dong) which was convenient. The neighborhood was quiet as much of it is residential. The hotel was across the street from E-Mart which also was nice. Felt safe in the area. The rooms could be a bit larger but you would be spending more money. Highly recommend.
- Myo Soon (10/5): - Staffs were amazing!
- Goulfia (10/5): - I liked this hotel in Seoul.
- Yongkoo (8/5): - 모든게 좋았어요
- Chris (8/5): - Hotel was spacious for the price. Such a good deal. Great dinning options around the area ranging from 5 to 20 min walks. The area South of the hotel is nicer and there's an Smart where you can get water and fruit. Very close to subway that gives you access to two main lines.
- Monica (10/5): - We found this place last minute and for the price—what a deal! Hotel is clean and quiet and secure. Staff are very nice.
- Grace (6/5): - .
- Grace (6/5): - 2nd time visit. Okay to stay. Friendly staff
- Matin (6/5): - The staff was very nice, they even gave us a treat as we checked in with free in hotel water and a very convenient 7-Eleven location right inside the hotel. However the sheets were not comfortable, the Air Conditioning did not work, the shower took a very long time to get warm, the room had a lot of dust, the bathroom was not very clean, and the carpets were very old and felt like they had not been cleaned in a very long time. We stayed one night and it was more than enough. Transferred to a new hotel in the morning.
- Ewa (10/5): - I have never slept so well in a hotel room before.
- Grace (8/5): - Overall, it was well managed and the room was clean. When I checked in, the staff gave me good guidance and explanations, but the staff that changed the next morning was not very good at explaining things, so I couldn't understand anything. The owner of the 7-Eleven convenience store in the hotel was kind, and the person who cleaned the room was also very kind. The bathroom was nice and the hot water flowed well. The water pressure was very good.
- Francesco (10/5): - No frills hotel but very clean, with excellent staff, and with excellent connections to everywhere in the city.
- Lindsey (10/5): - the staff are friendly, rooms are clean, and i like the convenience of having a 7/11 in the hotel. the only thing is that its far away from almost all touristy neighborhoods like myeongdong, hongdae, seongsu etc. so you do have to take the bus or subway to most places since it’s more like a residential area. the good thing is that the subway station is like a 5 minute walk so its not bad at all!
- Billy (10/5): - The hotel room was fairly spacious, and it was fairly quiet during the evenings. I enjoyed the full size bathroom. I also enjoyed being able to control the room temperature. The staff is very kind and greeted me every time I walked by. Water bottles were always refilled every day. The breakfast was good there, with a nice selection. The hotel is located walking distance from a main subway line. There are many restaurants nearby as well. On the weekends there is a flea market nearby which is cool to look at all the items for sale. There is also a coin laundry and a small gym which is a plus.
- Siew Leng (10/5): - The staff are extremely helpful. This trip with many hicupps... forgotten safe password, power trip due to my plug, urgent taxi requests... all the staff are most willing to help resolve quickly! The cleaning aunty was also wonderful and nice. Hotel room cleaning is always thorough! Nice christmas tree! Quiet location w busy weekend market. It is pretty walkable to various places and train stations. There are quite a number of different eateries nearby as well. Different directions have different appeals!
- Rubin (10/5): - The area was very quiet and is convenient in Seoul
- Terry (10/5): - IBC Hotel is very close to bus stops and subway stations (It's about a 5-8 minute walk.) Our room was kept very clean and the reception desk is always friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Sung (10/5): - Amazing staff, clean, very helpful. In the middle of access to everywhere in Seoul. From front desk staff to housekeepers the staff was A plus service
- Kathy (10/5): - Quiet and clean
- Jessica (8/5): - The only reason I did give this five stars is because they didn’t have air conditioning available when I went (during autumn), only heater, even though the weather was unseasonably warm so the room was stifling. Other than that, the room was clean, the breakfast was extensive and the staff were friendly. Having the convenience store attached to the hotel was a godsend because I could get late night ramyeon without even going outside!
- Melina (10/5): - Great location as a base around Seoul
- Adetoun (8/5): - Very good. Worth the money.
- Alison (10/5): - Really clean and comfortable stay here for 10 days, 24 hour super market on site maid service was excellent close to subway station great stay
- Dany (10/5): - Our 5-day stay at the IBC hotel was wonderful. The room was clean; the bed, pillows and blanket were so comforable, we wanted to take them home with us; the bathroom had a separate shower, like home (no fear of water spraying everywhere); there was a safe, slippers, robes, closet, kettle, mini-fridge with bottled water; the staff was professional, kind, helpful; the breakfast was good; public transportation, shopping and restaurants all were in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again, and would highly recommend IBC hotel
- eun ho (10/5): - Staff so nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was awesome!!
- Cyril (10/5): - Overall good hotel for travelers visiting Seoul. A bit of a walk from the market and other tourist shopping areas but close to bus stops and subway station. Close to convenience stores and a few restaurants if in the area. Hotel was overall decently clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast buffets was good food with a mix of western food and bibimbap.
- Hyon (10/5): - Room very clean with bidet. No decor in room. Just bed, table and chair, built in desk and tv. Big shower with strong pressure.
Close to transportation. Buffet small but OK. Laundry facility is adequate and cheap.
Recommend u get climate card for unlimited travel on subway and bus throughout Seoul. Cost 3000krw and can load for 1 day or more days with longer selection yields lower per day price.
- Robert (8/5): - Good value for stays on East side of Seoul.
Breakfast buffet was nice
- Fernando (8/5): - It was a good hotel for the stay in Seoul.
- Iman (10/5): - Front desk staff were very helpful
- Sung Woo (10/5): - Cost performance is really good!!!
- Jeremy (10/5): - Great staff that spoke English, helpful and friendly. Easy walk to the bus and train stations; helpful that there was a fly-away bus to and from the airport!
- Naomi (10/5): - The staff was really friendly and the rooms were clean.
- Hector (8/5): - I really liked this hotel, but the surrounding area, while not bad, was kind of disappointing
- Margaret (7/5): Overall good. - The housekeepers were tremendously nice. Room was fine, bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was ok - usually a 15 minute taxi from Hanyang University. Fitness room was adequate. Laundry room good. It is difficult to control the temperature in the room, and the AC was a bit cold. Most people at the front desk were good, but some did not have good English, leading to confusion at times. The Terrace restaurant is not open after breakfast. The coffee shop and other restaurant are good. 7-11 open 24 hours is very helpful. I found the notice scary (in English, fortunately) that if you go into the stairwell you cannot get out unless you have your room key.
- Skye (9/5): Superb -
- Lani (8/5): Very good - Staff were friendly and helpful. The room I shared with my friend was spacious enough for the two of us; the toilet was also the right size.
What I liked most was they let us keep our luggage at the hotel even if we've already checked out. A bit of a walk to the nearest subway station but other than that overall stay was pleasant.
- Tebogo (10/5): Brilliant value for money. Super stylish room and bathroom. Really convenient and close to bus stop and subways station. - Stunning room! Pretty close to bus stop and subway station but it was also fun walking to nearby shops. There is a 7eleven right downstairs so if we needed a snack we were always sorted. Nothing. It was absolutely amazing!!!
- Noraine (10/5): - We stayed here for almost three weeks and the housekeepers were lovely and caring. The front desk was very welcoming and understanding.
- Matthew David (10/5): - The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, especially one gentleman who was able to get us a jumbo taxi to the airport at short notice - thank you!
We used the laundry a couple of times which was easy. The 7-eleven was great to have as part of the hotel, and the Twosome Place was great for a couple of breakfasts on fast paced mornings.
The location was great as it was a short walk to Sinseol-dong metro station for Line 1 and 2. The area was nice around the hotel, with a lovely little chicken place just up the road.
- Sung (10/5): - Amazing staff and hotel is super modern. Cleanliness was off the chart clean and very hard working staff across the board.
- Sheri (10/5): - Really nice place. Very clean, quiet, and I was grateful to be able to do my laundry. Thanks!
- Gill (10/5): - Great stay, decent sized room for two people
- Isabella (10/5): - The staff were very kind and greeted us every time we appeared at the lobby. Made us feel welcomed and safe.
- Sao (8/5): Overall is good - Good value for money. There are several convenience stores nearby. The cleanliness is acceptable, just found the belongings of the previous guests beside the bed. The location is not very convenient but becomes acceptable by considering the price
- Kit Ling (10/5): - Great hotel
- Brenda (10/5): - Very nice/clean facility
- Monticha (10/5): - There is a luggage storage service available before check-in time or after checkout, free of charge. The rooms are kept clean and peaceful, and the Korean front desk staff can communicate in English. The Korean housekeeping staff are attentive and friendly. We did not have the chance to try the breakfast, gym, or laundry facilities. If you need any quick snacks or essentials, there is a 7-Eleven located within the hotel, behind the lobby area. To travel from the hotel to the airport or vice versa, you can take the bus. The nearest bus stop is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. You will need to take bus numbers 6002 and 17,000 won for a one-way trip. We highly recommend trying the fried chicken from Gamachi Chicken, which is located near the hotel – it's incredibly delicious! Lastly, if you're staying during the weekend, there's a flea market nearby which is worth checking out.
- Sung (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very modern and clean.
- Mac (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renata (9/5): Superb - Location was close to many bus stops and one train station Sinseol-dong.
Front reception staff were very helpful.
We were able to store luggage there when we were away to Jeju Island (since we were coming back to this hotel again).
There was coin-operated washing machine and dryer for guests.
There was 7-11 store on-site, making it very convenient to buy things.
- eun ho (10/5): - This hotel’s everything is great!
- eun ho (10/5): - This hotel’s staffs are really awesome!
- Timmon (10/5): - The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We were able to check in half an hour early, and although the room was a little small, my wife and I made the most of it. I must say that the shower pressure and temperature was the highlight in the room. There is a button you can press for Do Not Disturb and Housekeeping, and that was wonderful and easy. My wife and I stayed for 12 days and 11 nights, and we definitely recommend this hotel. Right across the hotel is the entrance to the Seoul Folk Flea Market where we had our first meal when we arrived. We tried the fish cake with soup and it was very good! The hotel is about a 5-6 minute walk to the Line 1 station (Sinseol-Dong station), and it is very walkable. Not to mention there is an Olive Young right across the station exit (Exit #10). You also have the trifecta of convenience stores around the hotel within the same block (7 Eleven, CU, and GS25. There are also very good restaurants within the vicinity, my wife and I had one of the best jajamyung and tonsuyuk within a 6-7 minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting South Korea, and it is away from the tourist attractions which makes it very quiet. Upon checking out, I tried to order a Kakao T, but the large ones were not available. The gentleman at the front desk was able to call a taxi van to the airport, which was a life saver. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I come back to South Korea. Thank you IBC Hotel!
- eun ho (10/5): - Every staff was very kind & helpful.
- Zhanet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (6/5): meh - didn't chnage the sheets even though it was a two-week stay, The staff were lovely but mediocre service at best when it came to standards
- Martin (10/5): - Nice hotel with friendly staff and great location.
- Joana (10/5): Cleanliness 10/10 - Loved our stay, hotel room was super clean, and staff really friendly. And location was perfect for us.
Will definitely come back to stay at this hotel!
- JASON (10/5): - Good place
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cecilia (8/5): Very good -
- Sebiha (10/5): My stay was amazing and the IBC staff is to thank for it. I will be definitely coming again - I liked the staff as they were friendly and helpful, our room was spacious and the bathroom was huge too. Also the cleaners kept very good care when tidying up. The only thing I didn’t like was some noisy guests but that isn’t the hotels fault.
- PhiIlip (10/5): - The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and always willing to help, and the overall location was convenient especially having a 7-eleven next to the lobby.
- Wendy (8/5): Very good - The size of room was good. Bathroom was a decent size. The staff at the lobby was cordial and kind, always willing to help. The pillow was a little soft. The washing machines located on 2nd floor had mold. It would be good if the management maintain those properly as we paid to use that
- mgc864 (8/5): Good hotel at reasonable price - I had to stay almost 2 weeks in Seoul and this hotel has given a great service at a really reasonable price. Good position and clean. The only missing thing is the breakfast not possible after the Covid because the restaurant has been closed.
On the other way just outside the Hotel there is a nice cafe where you can have a nice breakfast with a discount showing the hotel key card.
- Marco (8/5): Good hotel at very interesting rate for the service they give. Very clean - Nice hotel in good location from which you can easily reach any part of Seoul thanks to 2 min lines subway 300 meters form the hotel. Very clean hotel, good service. Just not possible to have breakfast, but possible to have a nice breakfast just in a Caffé in the same building with a special discount.
- Marco (8/5): Very good -
- Radoslav (8/5): Very good -
- Namuun (8/5): Very good -
- Axel (10/5): - Hotel was easy to locate and was a short walk to local amenities such as a large supermarket, underground train station and a lovely river to walk along.
The few times ive interacted with staff they have been professional, kind and helpful especially the cleaning staff who would always say hello.
The room was clean and tidy with provided items such as slippers, toiletries and tea and coffee woth bottled water.
Would recommend this hotel to other's
- Jazmine (8/5): Very good -
- Yuen Ki Angela (10/5): - Facility new and clean but my quilt had cut a hole and lots of dust. Location is near metro station line number 126 Sinseol-dong exit 10, unfortunately there are no lift in this exit, it need to walk towards to exit 2/5 depending upon traffic direction.
- Margaret (10/5): - Had 4 nights of great sleep here! Very clean, speedy Wi-Fi connection, nice room cleaning and reception service. Definitely worth its price!
- Gantugs (8/5): Very good -
