The hotel has a calm, stylish atmosphere that truly lives up to its name – “Wabi Sabi,” the art of finding beauty in simplicity and imperfection. It’s all about harmony and presence. The hotel’s interior is minimalist and tasteful: simple wooden tables, stone floors, and open layouts facing the garden. Transparent curtains shield against tropical downpours, and the breakfast area has a roof of clear corrugated sheets, giving the feeling of dining outdoors – authentic and relaxing. Breakfast is simple but plentiful. A colorful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals and yogurt. Some small meat dishes, bread, jam, coffee, and tea. The staff are helpful and eager to accommodate individual needs. I traveled alone but immediately felt at home, largely thanks to the staff who are warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful, with green plants and a few sweet, calm dogs resting by the reception – small details that give the place its own soul. My room was on the fifth floor: full-length glass doors to the balcony, spacious, airy, and clean, with a freshly polished white tile floor every day. A large comfortable bed and fresh flowers in the room. The balcony had two large chairs and a table, overlooking the garden, pool, nearby houses, and with a glimpse of the sea. The location is ideal – just a few minutes’ walk to Kamala Beach. The hotel lends out large, comfortable beach mats that are light and easy to carry. And for those traveling in the rainy season, they also lend out large umbrellas. But the best tip is to buy a cheap rain poncho – when it rains, it really rains! Wabi Sabi Boutique Hotel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a hotel with good standards, a lovely atmosphere, and staff who truly care.

Main areas could do with a good clean and tidy. Everything felt a little bit grimy. Decks etc needed a good scrub. Staff were reasonably friendly but not as much as we have experienced throughout the rest of Thailand.

Staff really nice and friendly, loved my room so just glad I chose this one and would definitely go back. Breakfast but that was the same at all the hotels I stayed at in Thailand....but just had fruit or cereal so still nice.

Any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently making for a comfortable stay. Really friendly guests staying while we were there which made breakfast and moments in the pool great. - jenson (8/5): - I got a room on the 5th floor which has a very slight ocean view but nonetheless a nice general view. The rooms were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The beds were firm which is my preference so I had excellent sleep. The breakfast was fine with eggs cooked to order and bacon. Fresh fruit is available. Bread was basic and would be nice if there were some upgraded options. The hotel is about a 5 min walk to town and the beach which was very convenient. Nothing. Hotel options here are much different than Bangkok, so you have to adjust your expectations accordingly. For Kamala, this is a nicer hotel.

Staff was nice and helpful, pool was refreshing, beach and 711 very close by, cute authentic restaurants near by, would recommend the “Sunshine” restaurant for great authentic Thai food . Kamala Beach is the best!

- Raimon (6/5): Kamala es una playa de relax no para turismo - No nos gustó mucho la ubicación, debido a que Kamala era una playa demasiado tranquila y no había mucha gente ni muchas cosas alrededor del Hotel. La habitación estaba bien, ya que cogimos la suite Ejecutive. El único inconveniente es que no habían bastantes enchufes, solo habían algunos libres por el suelo y uno de los otros inconvenientes era que el baño y la ducha estaban abiertos, es decir, todos los olores estaban dentro de la habitación. La parte positiva es que nos entraba mucha luz en la habitación ya que la suite tiene tres ventanales enormes y el desayuno no estaba mal. Las chicas del Hotel fueron bastante amables.

The hotels lovely, very relaxed, comfortable beds, yet chilled and quiet. Plenty close by and staff lovely. Provide towels,dressing gown and a lift for higher floors. Great easy parking too. Thank you for a lovely stay!
