david (9/5): Pleasant older hotel - Perfect location close to restaurants and coffee shops. The staff is super helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is above average. This hotel has old world charm. The rooms are small but adequate. The thermostats in the rooms are locked to max of 68° . The front desk has to unlock this temporarily by computer, but it reverts to 68°. Very strange.

Patricia (10/5): Highly recommend and would stay again - The large, hot breakfast, changed daily. Very good. The staff was polite, helpful, and professional. Nice rooms. There is not a bar or restaurant on site, but there are many options within walking distance.

Earl (7/5): Beautiful - The decor was nice and unique. Everything was clean. No microwave in the room. My husband and I were surprised with this. We travel often and have been to many types of hotels, and even the most lowest budget hotels have microwaves. This seemed out of place for a grand hotel with fancy decor.

Leah (10/5): Lovely stay at a beautiful hotel. - Unique. Warm, welcoming, comfortable. Friendly staff. Lovely view of the small park in the square. It was quiet at night. Love the special touches like the embossed toilet paper and provided sleep mask. Everything was very clean. I would like to see more lights in the parking area. It is pretty dark in some spots when you’re arriving at night.

The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. The lobby area was very clean. We didn’t like the beds. My adult son got sucked into the middle of the bed he slept on. The one we slept on was not comfortable and the pillows were aweful. Another problem with the room was it got hot and the A/C couldn’t be set at a lower temperature. My son also said there was barely any water pressure in the shower. Plus, the tile in the bathroom seemed like it needed a thorough scrub.

Bill K (10/5): Beautiful Hotel in Mount Vernon - Awesome property that feels like an older historic hotel but with modern features. Excellent staff that's eager to help with questions about the property and also knowledge of the local area. The breakfast is nice with a small variety of hot and cold choices. Everything was fresh and tasty. This is our second stay at this property and will return every time our travels bring us to this area. I cannot think of anything. It was a very enjoyable stay.
