• Jane (6/5): Disappointing, but cheap. - Large bed, good staff. Packed breakfast included a drink. Bathroom, shower that flooded the bathroom. Tired and tatty.
• Riitta (9/5): - Me encantó que la habitación tuviera suelo de madera, también era amplia y bien decorada, al estilo colonial. El personal de la recepción era muy amable y ayudaron en todo. Tenía que hacer el check-out muy temprano la mañana siguiente y se ofrecieron a preparar un desayuno para llevar. La habitación daba al patio interior en la planta de lobby- recepción, así que no me hubiese gustado para una estancia más larga. Para una noche estuvo bien y mucho más tranquilo de lo que pensaba en el momento de entrar en la habitación.

Hola, tengo una observación: el precio que aparece en la app no coincide con el que me cobraron en la instalación. Además, están usando un tipo de cambio distinto al vigente, lo que incrementa el monto final. Esto genera incomodidad.

No recuerdo su nombre pero solo era su segundo dia de trabajo en el hotel. Me molesto mucho que quisieron cobrarme por noche otro precio del the booking.com
• Heide (4/5): Missverständnis in bester Lage - Lage Zimmer ohne Fenster. Das angegebene Mittagessen und Abendessen zu je EUR 7 gab es nicht. Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant. Falsche Angaben. Deshalb sind wir gleich wieder gegangen. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat die kostenfreie Stornierung sofort akzeptiert.

• Juan Felipe (9/5): Hermoso, amplio y bien ubicado - Hermoso hotel, habitaciones a doble altura, espaciosas y limpias. Es fácil llegar a la plaza de armas, y cerca hay varios lugares para comer o hacer compras. Cuenta con calefacción en las habitaciones. El estacionamiento no está a la altura del hotel, tiene el suelo en tierra, no es 24 horas aunque lo digan, y tiene poca capacidad.

Excelente servicio nos ayudo con el transporte de las maletas dentro del hotel al igual que para tomar taxi. El desayuno buffet exquisito. Pase una muy buen estadía.

• Neus (8/5): Very good - In the city center very close to the main attractions-the staff was very helpful and let us in earlier. It was a bit cold and the heater did not hell much.
• Abigail (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect- loved being in a safe, clean area of town and being so close to shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. I wish the light coming from outside through the bathroom could be turned off and that the water temperature wasn't so hard to control in the shower (lots of hot water!) Breakfast wasn't very filling.

• Peter (9/5): Lovely old style hotel in Puno centre. - Lovely old style hotel. Spotlessly clean and room warm and comfortable. Friendly staff. Convenient central location. Decent breakfast. Definitely recommended. Rooms are mostly located around a central atrium which is great in itself but unfortunately noise from the lobby can transmit up to the rooms and be a bit disturbing if you are not an early riser and there are inconsiderate guests who are!

• Nuri (10/5): Great location, Big and comfy room, Staff was great. - Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was big and comfy. Breakfast was ok too. Room windows were looking at inside of the hotel. There was no window to outside. So it was a bit of lack of fresh air. But didn't bother much.

The hotel is right next to the Plaza so could be noisy when there is parade or event happens. But it is not an issue for me as I wear earplugs.

• Auwley (9/5): Excellent hotel in a great location! - Rooms were beautiful, large and comfortable. Staff were helpful organising tours, getting us to the bus station early in the morning and allowing us to access the breakfast room before the official time. Location was great. We didn't really enjoy the city of Puno but our hotel made up for that and provided us with a safe and comfortable stay.
• Susanne (8/5): Good average hotel close to the city center of Puno. - Very good breakfast with a lot of options. The staff was very friendly but seemed untrained and had a hard time understanding english. Good beds. Oxygentank in the reception for those guests that come from flat countries. The only windows in the room were facing the inner courtyard, which made the room a bit dark. The acoustics of the hotel made the place a bit noisy - you can hear everything that is going on in the reception. Just remember to bring ear plugs, and you will sleep fine.
• Victor (10/5): A good value place in the center - The place is located right next to the main cathedral in the center. You can stroll to the restaurants. The staff is very polite and helpful, the breakfast is huge and has tons of choices of natural juices and fruits.

• Renato (7/5): Big room with no view. - Located right in the center, next to the cathedral. ( bell ist almost not hearable) Nice staff. Breakfast was ok. Big bed. Superior room ... only window ist to the reception. Where everybody can walk by. Bathroom: no light at the basin. No towelholder at the basin. No showercurtain. No ventilation. No safe. Stain on the floor. Mirror is mounted crookedly. For the location... no views at the square or the cathedral.

• Lance (6/5): Great location, average comforts and friendly staff. - The location was great, The breakfast was decent with a bit of variety. The shower was warm, so that was nice. The staff was very friendly and nice. The price was about what one would expect given the accommodations. The room was decent. Granted this was an old building, but the interior lacked those extra comforts. I am not sure if the TV worked as we didn't try it. There were only 2 working outlets, Dogs could be heard barking and others up and about through the night. The lighting was poor.

Lastly, big shout out for Romario on reception, who was really helpful and always seemed to be there, no matter what the time, day or night - give that man a raise! Due to the lay-out of the hotel, rooms facing into a central enclosed courtyard, it could get a bit noisy when people were in reception. Not sure if we were in Puno during the Great Loo Roll Shortage of 2023, but it seemed to be very strictly rationed, oh and the soap was a bit rubbish as well!

Great location and they offer a laundry service. Showers instantly very hot and didn’t take 10mins to get hot as they said they might. Bathroom was a little old but was still very clean.

They laid out an early breakfast for us as we were leaving before the official breakfast time. It took about three minutes for the water to get hot enough for a shower.

• Cynthia (10/5): Awesome hotel, great value. - Staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast is diverse and rooms are big and very clean.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible hotel which I do not recommend to anyone. Bathroom conditions were horrible, not even good enough for a 1* hotel. It badly needs to be renovated. Not to mention that there was no hot water. The room was cold and it was very dark, there were several missing light bulbs. The only consolating part was the big bed. Do not go there. Book somewhere else.

Staff was really amazing, they were very accommodating with a request before our arrival and also were very sympathetic with us suffering from the effects of the altitude, bringing us tea and checking in on us for breakfast, etc. Breakfast was really nice, mostly continental style with fresh fruit, bread and coffee/tea - also scrambled eggs but it was cold and we did not touch it. The room was clean, roomy but not ver functional - no hangers, no shelves in the bathroom, the shower was good but the water would never totally drain from a day to the next, leaving a moldy smell - we started to dry the shower floor with the used towels, which helped.
• Saulo (8/5): - The location is the best part, very convenient right on Plaza de Armas. Also nice staff, clean beds and hot shower. The shower was hot but the shower curtain pole was broken and had to be elevated, leaving a gap underneath that soaked the bathroom while having a shower. Also, the shower floor does not have an inclination, so a lot of water stays there between showers and has to dried by hand - not cool! It lacked place to hang clothes and shelves for the toiletries pouch - overall not practical Breakfast was good with bread, fresh fruit, juice, coffee. Scrambled eggs was not warm so we stayed away from it.

The breakfast was good (fresh fruit, juices, breads, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, coffee) and the staff arranged our boat tour and taxi ride to the airport afterwards very expertly. The location was very handily located close to great dinner options, and also close to the walkable central district, but not so close to the port where the boat tours run from.

We were given a room on the 2nd floor and there is no lift, which is completely understandable but when your at 3800m climbing 2 flights of stairs after you've forgotten something isn't fun. The hotel is cold, but they will provide you with a heater when you ask. The breakfast is underwhelming.

Plus, the room was above a service area so there was loud talking and dumping of water right below us that echoed up until 10:45 pm. But, they switched our room the next night per request with no hassle. Yay! Hot water and water pressure.
• Laura (8/5): Nice hotel and great staff - Close to plaza de armas. Reception is really cozy and the only good place where wifi works. Rooms were okay but water presure could be better but overall a good stay with excellent location.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Pretty good - Good overall but the street noise was bad with holiday music and fireworks starting at 6 AM and thin windows. Other hotels on our trip offered free drinking water but not this one except for hot tea.
• Ben (8/5): Great stay! - We stayed for just one night before heading off the islands but ended up booking another night when we got back. The staff were super friendly and we both had one of the best nights sleeps since we arrived in Peru. Highly recommended staying here!
• Brendan (8/5): Budget hotel well positioned in Puno - Perfectly comfortable hotel given the price charged. Young group of people running the services who are keen to help and please. Points to note, don't attempt to have a shower in the early morning as hot water is not always available then and, because of the courtyard nature of the reception area, noise does echo around the hotel which is an issue when you have people leaving early in the morning for trips or the hotel so if you are a light sleeper this may be a problem?
