Staff were also super accommodating with our middle of the night check in and took great care of our luggage when we left in the middle for the salkantay trek. Would highly recommend

Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. So was dinner. Laundry was very quick. The rooms were spacious and finely decorated. There was hot water all day long. Also it was very clean. I can understand it is a nation's thing, but currency sockets just won't work correctly. My plugs kept falling off all the time.

- Alexander (5/5): Nice atmosphere, but comes with compromises in comfort - The rooms are nicely decorated and have a lot of character. The hotel also offers very convenient services for travelers, such as free luggage storage for several days, which is especially helpful if you’re going on a multi-day tour. The laundry service is efficient and reasonably priced, making it easy to take care of clothes during a longer stay. My original reservation was changed to their sister hotel, Ninos Meloc, due to an issue with the room. While the alternative itself was acceptable, I was only informed one day before arrival, which created unnecessary hassle as I had to update all my pre-arranged pickups for tours. Comfort was a major issue throughout the stay. The rooms are very cold and difficult to heat, with only a small electric heater that takes hours to make any difference. Hot water takes several minutes to start — if at all — and is often only lukewarm. Privacy is also limited, as the windows face the inner courtyard and there is a gap between the door and the wall, so noise carries easily and the room does not retain warmth. Additionally, the front gate is always kept closed and guests are not given a key, meaning you often have to wait several minutes for staff to open it each time you return, which becomes quite frustrating over time.

- mariana (9/5): Cómodo y relajante hotel para familias - Las áreas comunes son muy agradables, es techado por lo que se aprovecha aún cuando llueve. Además tiene una biblioteca disponible bien interesante. Para las infancia es entretenido, tienen espacio y juegos disponibles además de silla de comer para niños. No tiene disponibilidad de ningún servicio de cocina o comida fuera del horario de desayuno y almuerzo, lo que nos dificultó un poco la preparación de comidas de nuestro bebé.

- K (9/5): Charming and poetical; deliciously well fed. A safe, quiet beautiful sanctuary in the city's heart - I loved the decor of my room, and the skylight. Both made me happy It was nippy out so the heater made it especially cosy in the early mornings and late at night. I ate at the hotel twice, once chicken soup and once tomato soup. Both were delicious. When next in Cusco I doubt I'll stay anywhere else. The hotel has soul (and hot water!)

The room was perfect for our family. Loved relaxing in the courtyard with the fountain. It felt safe with the entrance and front desk monitored. The custom murals in each room and attention to detail with cozy blankets and heater show they really care. We would book again for sure. Absolutely loved that this is a non profit set up to support local children. Coffee maker or kettle in the room (or courtyard) would have been lovely. The beds were a bit hard, so a foam topper would make it more comfortable.

We had dinner in the restaurant of the other ninos hotel and we can defenitely recomand eating there. It is a bit out of the center, but it is only 10 minutes by foot. The neighborhood is safe. The rooms are clean and spacious, the shower was not always extremely hot but OK. The staff was very friendly. We would stay here again.

- 貴子 (9/5): Cosy hotel at the centre of Cusco - It's very centrally located. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were always someone at the reception for 24hrs. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated. We loved the bathtub so much! The bed was really comfortable as well. The street outside was quite noisy. There was a window right above the bed, and it gets bright from 6am. It's recommended to wear ear plugs and eye shades while sleeping.
- 貴子 (8/5): A clean room with comfortable beds - I booked this room for my family member. The room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. It gets cold at night, but the staff gave us a heater, so it was all good. There was no window facing outside; one at the ceiling and two facing inside this building. If you'd like real windows, better to book the rooms with balconies. Also breakfast isn't included took 30-40 min to prepare. I personally thought it'd be more efficient to make it a buffet than a la carte.

The first two nights we got a poor room, ask to move and for the next two nights we got another room with a problem in the sower. We had to close the water and had no water during the night. It was a very cosy place with a great location - walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit. They had a restaurant with a cosy fireplace where we could heat up. They also had massages available - which was absolutely wonderful after all of our hikes during the trip! It was very cold at night in the rooms, but we were provided with a small heater.

Only bummer is that doorbell is a bit loud, so you can hear when people buzz to be let in. However on that note, the property is safe and secure. - Michael (10/5): Bare bones but good. - I actually only stayed here for a half-day while waiting for my late night flight. But I stayed at their other location (Meloc) and it's very similar. Make no mistake, it's a hostel. But having your own room means you get privacy and space. It's more like a budget hotel without a bathroom if you don't get the private bathroom. The property is pretty, bathrooms were clean, and I could see myself staying here for a few nights. During the day you might see kids who are part of the program here in the recreational areas.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Prefer Meloc than Fierro - Compare to Nino hotel meloc, Nino hotel Fierro provides more spaces both in the room and in the shower room. The service is excellent without doubt, provide us everything we need: drinkable hot water, in-room heater even it has been very late at night. I recommend those who need quiet to sleep late in the morning choose meloc than fierro because there is a ball court right next to the rooms at Fierro. Kids play balls in the morning. And the hot water for shower is limited in Fierro compare to that in Meloc. It ran out fairly quickly for one person shower. But the food provided are as awesome as that in meloc.

- Gerry (10/5): An awesome ethically responsible stay - I loved this reasonably priced ETHICAL ACCOMODATIONs hotel. The attached restaurant was equally awesome, with their mango smoothie to die for. That all their profits go to support local children's education and nutrition needs is commendable beyond compare.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel with very helpful staff - Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Attractions of Cusco are within walking distance. Nice court yard for relaxation. However, rooms face courtyard and tend to be noisy if guests are in the court yard.
- carl (10/5): Charming hotel with charitable heart - I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Niños Fierro. Room rates are affordable, although you don't get what you're paying for. This is made up for by the fact that all profits are for an orphanage supported by the hotel. The rooms are very basic, but clean. They don't retain heat well, but you get ample blankets and a space heater, so it isn't a problem. There are no meals included in your stay, but the restaurant attached to the hotel is really affordable and the food served is the best I had on my trip. Staff was helpful. Overall, while you can get the same quality hotel for a lot cheaper elsewhere, but it's still not unreasonablly priced, and you get to feel good about directly investing in the betterment of some orphans. I would both stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.
- Lindsay (8/5): Great budget hostel with delicious cafe - The hostel is a 10-minute walk to the main square in Cusco - it was easy to explore and eat in the area. Cabs were easy to find to get to the airport/train station. There was a brief water and internet issue our first night, but it was resolved by morning. The staff are attentive and nice, and the restaurant has great breakfast/dinner.
