Will book again for next year. - Close to everywhere, short walk to Rainbow Street, 5 minutes to Harpa, 2 minutes to Lebowski -if you know you know- short taxi ride from Flybus terminal. 15-20 minute walk to Perlan and Valur football stadium. Both well worth the walk Nothing!

• Karin (10/5): Super Lage, nett ei gerichtet! - Die Lage ist toll! Man ist sofort bei der Regenbogenstraße, bei der Konzerthalle Harpa, im Hinterhof der Laugavegur-Straße. Meine Kollegin meinte, die Matratze der Couch sei etwas durchgelegen. Die Betten waren in Ordnung.
• Julie (7/5): Though we liked the location, not our favorite stay. - Though a great location, the access was very challenged. The directions were not clear so entry into a key coded system was very challenging indeed. We apartment was as well appointed as we needed. Better directions for entry, more than one pillow per bed. Optional bedding to allow for the sleeper couch to be used. No one to help directly--everything was through chat making it more difficult.

• Tina (8/5): Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden wiederkommen. - Sehr gute und zentrale Lage. Genug Platz für vier Personen, separates Schlafzimmer mit großem Doppelbett und Schlafsofa, wo auch zwei Personen drauf schlafen könnten. Das Bad ist großgeräumig und neu. Die Küche funktional und bei den Minusgraden draußen war die Wohnung stets gut gewärmt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Wir haben den Vermieter nicht kennen gelernt, aber wenn wir ihn kontaktiert haben, haben wir direkt eine Antwort bekommen. Schön wäre noch gewesen: eine Dunstabzugshaube über den beiden Herdplatten, Wäscheklammern für den Wäscheständer und dass das Glatteis im Hof einen kleinen, gestreuten Weg zum Laufen hätte.

• Anthony (9/5): Overall, it was a great place to stay with an awesome location. - The condo was very clean. We didn't have a car so we didn't use the parking. I was very impressed with all the amenities that the condo offered. The door handle to the bathroom came off.

• Kay (7/5): Had a great stay - Iceland was fab but no Northern Lights 🙃 - Quiet and in a great location To get into the property the door code was the same as the door code for our apartment so did the other apartments have the same code - didn’t seem secure - need bigger drinking glasses!

• Linn (8/5): Super leilighet midt i Reykjavik sentrum - Utmerket beliggenhet, kan ikke få det mer sentralt. Og meget praktisk med parkeringshus nesten vegg i vegg som hadde lave priser for leiebilen vår. Gode senger. Savnet mer servise og kjøkkenutstyr. Ikke nok glass, tallerkner, bestikk o.l. Hadde også vært greit med stekeovn. Litt mye støy fra festing i naboleiligheter og området rundt i helgen.

• juha (5/5): Refrigerator not working - The location is great and the apartment was clean. The refrigerator and the kettle were not working. We had to put our food outside on the balcony to keep it cold. The next day, a cleaner had thrown our food away from the balcony. This was completely incomprehensible behavior, and we were not even given an apology for it.
• Deborah (10/5): - Absolutely excellent location. Right in the centre of Reykjavik beside rainbow street. Very straightforward check in with codes instead of keys. Lovely warm cosy rooms, fabulous shower. Would absolutely come back We couldnt get the hob working to make some breakfast (it was on a lock that would not come off) I emailed and never got a response. It didnt impact us greatly as it was eggs so we used the microwave, and we ate out for lunch and dinner, but with the cost of eating out in Iceland, and if it was a family with children etc Im sure it would have been an issue. And I couldnt realistically rate the staff as we never met any. Again not a big deal but only conversation I had was via email (regarding hob) and didnt get a response

• David (10/5): Spacious comfortable apartment. - Wonderful apartment right in the center of Reykjavik easy walking distance to everything in town including bars, restaurants, museums, grocery stores and also conveniently bus stop 6 which connects to the main bus station for trips, airport bus etc. Although apartment was very relaxed and quiet despite its location. Apartment big and clean, good shower and heating for the cold Icelandic January. Even provided a toaster on request, could not be more helpful. Would recommend city and apartment.

• Louise (8/5): Comfortable and close to everything - Cosy, comfortable & clean. The team at Heimaleiga were extremely efficient. The apartment looks out on a courtyard that should be spruced up. The price of the great central location is of course a bit more noise. Despite this I would stay at Ice Apartments again.

I’d stay again. - Great location, neat and tidy with good kitchen facilities Couldn’t get the tv to work but also didn’t contact anyone to ask, so might have been a simple fix. Not a big problem for us. Bathroom light took a little while to work out - switch is underneath the sensor.

• John (10/5): Excellent location in the heart of Reykjavik. - Ice Apartments are in the heart of Reykjavik very near the bottom of the "Rainbow Street" Parking is available at the Traðarkot - Parking House. the TV's were slow to respond to controls and their WiFi signal kept going in and out.

Easy access to bus stops for tours outside of the city centre. The bathroom was generous in space. The beds were comfortable. The washing machine was a lifesaver. Security-wise, would consider rethinking access to property.

Potser aniria bé un petit moble al saló perquè la persona que dorm allà tingui on guardar les coses. Situat al final de l'arc de Sant Martí, al bellmig del centre. A millorar la neteja de la pica (dins del forat de sota l'aixeta), les cadires i taula de la terrassa, així com el plat amb cigarrets de la terrassa.

• Rowland (10/5): Location, location, location! - Location was perfect!. Other reviewers complained about noise, but we had absolutely no issues. We didn't speak to a single person with regards to check-in. The check-in process is thoroughly thought out and concise that there was no reason for any interaction. Apartment was big with every amenity. Not necessarily apartment specific but parking is a bit confusing. Read up on this and download the Parka app as every place charges for parking. There is a parking garage next door but they do close between midnight and 0700...never an issue unless you have an early flight. Apartment needs a few small repairs here and there but nothing major. Highly recommend!!

• Kate-Lynn (2/5): - Didnt like that there was no second lock on the door, a chain lock would go along way especially since my door code worked for all doors i tried, which is very concering. Bathroom door handle was falling off, door didnt fit properly had to use whole body to close / open it. Every morning at about 7am someone would open and close the exterior door allowing it to slam shut waking us up every damn time. For being a luxurious place, the bathroom smelt like pee when we got there. Only good thing was communication for check in / checkout, was very easy.

It could have been better maintained. Bathroom grouting could of benefited from a deep clean. There was some chipped woodwork to the door.
• Susan (8/5): Would stay here again. - Location was fantastic. A very central location, easy to walk everywhere. Plenty of space in the apartment. Clean and comfortable. Not much storage/shelf space in bathroom. Downside of being in central location is hearing the partiers all night long.
• Lauren (8/5): God apartment, great location - Great location at the junction of Rainbow Road and Laugevegur Street. Ample room with well appointed kitchen. Shower was roomy and they had cabinets to store clothes. It is located near a bar but I didn't hear much noise. The only loud ruckus I heard late at night were some drunk folks walking through the alley. Finding the correct outside door was confusing. Note there are two outside entrances on the same side of the building for 1 and 1b. The apartment was great but it was pretty costly. Though everything in Reykjavik is costly so in that sense it's a competitive price.

• Bradford (8/5): Nice Apartment in Poor Immediate Surroundings - Nicely designed unit well located yet quietly tucked away from the main drag. There were a few minor issues like a broken shade pull, empty or broken shower dispenser (random other bottled products were either provided or left behind by other guests) and a bathroom light that repeatedly turns off during the course of showering, requiring nearly stepping out repeatedly in complete darkness to activate the motion sensor/light activator (our particular sensor did not feature the on/off/auto switch on the bottom described in the online apartment guide). The biggest issue is the condition of the building’s surroundings and approach to the unit, which gives a really poor impression upon first arrival – lots of trash, random pots and other items in poor condition, weeds, and many rocks across the stairway (looks like years of accumulation) which you must navigate carefully to avoiding slipping on for a bad fall! In addition, the common trash bins are quite nasty and nearby graffiti and other negatives give an unsafe impression. One guest was overheard saying he hoped their car was still there in the morning.

We were a little stressed since we couldn’t go inside the apartment to finish packing. It was stressful at that moment but it all worked out. Appreciate the quick response to our issue.

Main frustration was the outside noise on Friday and Saturday nights, and the auto light switch off in bathroom. Very hard to shower and without light turning off multiple times.
