La chambre est agréable, avec une belle terrasse pour le petit déjeuner ainsi qu’une cour intérieure plaisante pour se détendre. Je remercie particulièrement Hamza pour son accueil et toutes les informations qu’il nous a fournies concernant les visites et les transports.

Sitzmöglichkeiten gab es im Garten oder im Hof. Frühstück ebenfalls im schönen Hof oder nettem Aufenthaltsraum. Das Frühstück war sehr lekker und ausreichend. Wir konnten unsere Wäsche waschen. Der Gastgeber und die beiden Damen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr schön war auch die Fuß Safari. Alles war sehr schön....

- Iman (3/5): Kurz gesagt, für Paare und Männer ist dieses Hostel super! Für die Mädels und Frauen unter euch - sucht weiter! Ich bin - Ich habe in einem Einzelzimmer mit eigenem Bad übernachtet und es war sehr sauber. Zunächst gefiel es mir sehr gut, da meine Freundin und ich sehr Herzlich von Hamza empfangen wurden. Wir wurden mit einem Tee begrüßt und er hat uns nahe zu jede Frage zum Ort beantwortet. Er bot uns an die Küche sowie die Waschmaschine zu nutzen, was wir dankend annahmen. Am Abend fragten wir ihn nach einem Gesellschaftsspiel gefragt und er sagte er möchte uns gerne Gesellschaft leisten, darauf hin luden wir noch einen weiteren Jungen man dazu ein mit und UNO zu spielen. Bisher war alles schön und gut. Am nächsten Morgen berichtete mir meine Freundin, dass Hamza ist (nach dem wir alle zu Bett gegangen waren) über WhatsApp kontaktierte und sie noch einlud zu ihm heraus zu kommen. -Kurze jedoch wichtige Info: wir haben die Zimmer getrennt gebucht, da sie im Mehrbettzimmer gebucht hatte und ich das Einzelzimmer. Jedoch habe ihr Ihre Telefonnummer hinterlegt, da ich meine Marokkanische Nummer nicht kannte- Nach einem kurzen hin und her stellte sich heraus, Hamza dacht, er würde mit der Frau aus dem Privatzimmer schreiben. Er schickte ihr auch zum Beweis ein Foto meiner Buchung und auch versehentlich ein Foto der Buchung ihres Zimmernachbarn. Am Tag darauf verließen wir das Hostel recht früh und kehrten erst am späten Nachmittag zurück. Hamza suchte erneut den Kontakt zu uns, aber nun hielten wir uns zurück und schenkten ihm nicht besonders viel Beachtung als er sich zu uns an den Tisch setzte, nach etwa einer halben Stunde sprang er auf, verabschiedete sich kurz und knapp und ging. Das stört uns nicht weiter. Am nächsten Morgen, betrat ich die Küche und er fragte mich in einem sehr schroffen Ton, ob ich die gestern die Maschine benutzt hätte. Ich war etwas verwirrt und er wiederholte seine Frage nun lauter. Ich sagte ihm, dass ich die Putzfee gefragt hätte und sie mir dies erlaubt hätte. Dann schrie er, ich müsse noch die Kosten für die Nutzung begleichen der Waschmaschine begleichen (was absolut klar war!

Das Perosnal ist hilfsbereit und sehr sympathisch Das Einzige waren die vielen Fliegen, da kann nichts dagegen machen, dass ich um 22 Uhr kurzzeitig asugesperrt war und nicht reinkam. Ich wollte dem Gastgeber, der für die Gäste zustöndig war ein Trinkgeld geben. Da er jedoch bei der Bezahlung dieses Trinkgeld direkt an sich nahm, hat sich das erübrigt. Da es etwa die gleiche Summe war, sagte ich nichts. Jedoch wäre es schöner gewesen, wenn ich es ihm von mir aus gegeben hätte.
- Hans Thijmen (8/5): - Het is de ideale tussenstop op weg naar Merzouga. Het is een fijne accommodatie met basic kamers. Het eten is goed. Hamza(manager) is een topper, hij wacht je op als je arriveert en doet z’n uiterste best om aan al je wensen te voldoen. Zo konden wij wat eerder avondeten en werd er een wasje voor ons gedraaid. De binnen tuin is een fijne plek om thee te drinken met de overige gasten en natuurlijk met Hamza. Achterin de tuin staat nog een trampoline voor de kinderen.

- pauline (10/5): - Un vrai havre de paix, calme, face à la palmeraie. Incontestablement la meilleure maison d'hôte depuis le début de notre séjour. Tout etait parfait: le pti dej, le diner, l'accueil et la gentillesse d'Hamza qui nous a emmené en balade dans la palmeraie. Allez y les yeux fermés!

Pokoje wymagają lepszego sprzątania, zapach z łazienki utrudnia pobyt. Śniadanie skromne, na plus jajecznica z dodatkami. Praktycznie brak dostępnego parkingu dla gości, pojedyncze miejsca na drodze w okolicy.

Wyszedł po nas na drogę i pomógł nieść bagaże. Nie kierujcie się gps lecz wskazówkami od właściciela dojeżdżając na miejsce. Brak parkingu pod domem. Samochód trzeba zostawić nie daleko na ulicy. Nie jest to problem bo jest blisko i widać z tarasu.

Pour quelques euros en plus on a choisi la triple qui est vraiment spacieuse et donne l’occasion de bien poser son équipage vu que les chambres au Maroc sont toutes petites :) On a pris le dîner en terrasse ensemble à autres voyageurs et eu l’opportunité de changer quelque mots. Point étoile: l’accueil de Hamza a été superbe ! Merci mon ami et à la prochaine! Rien

- Amélie (8/5): All in all a really nice place- especially for sunny weather! - We had a really good stay at Retour au Calme! Hamza was a really nice host, always around to answer questions and really attentive. The location makes it easy to explore the town by foot and find places to eat or get a tea:) Getting to the Gorges by shared taxi was also easy and inexpensive! We also enjoyed the daily breakfast! Since we were a bit unlucky with the weather, the room was a bit cold and we couldn't enjoy the beautiful terraces as much (but they are very beautiful!)

- P.Morel (8/5): - Nous étions les seuls clients de l'établissement car en pleine saison d'hiver. C'était tres calme et tres propre. On sent cependant que l'établissement est plutôt prévu pour la saison chaude. On a apprécié la salle de jeu et les jeux pour enfants à disposition. La possibilité d’avoir les repas sur place est tres appréciable aussi. Nous avons eu un peu froid dans la chambre le temps de comprendre comment fonctionne la climatisation inversée et on a regretté que le réchaud à gaz de la salle commune ne soit pas fonctionnel faute de gaz car nous prenions nos repas par 10°. On a aussi compris que c’est le mode de fonctionnement normal dans cette région puisque nous avons eu le meme traitement dans d’autres établissements.

- Trixie (6/5): Welcoming and attentive staff (Mohamed); paid too much for a freezing cold room. - Mohamed was very welcoming and helpful during check-in and kindly upgraded our room upon arrival. Chatting with him and other guests while eating a generous and delicious breakfast was the best part of our experience at Retour au Calme. Speaking from 3 weeks of experience travelling across Morocco in December, my husband and I felt that 50 euros for 1 night was too expensive for the state of the facilities and comfort level provided: the room was freezing cold (no heating), the bed was very flimsy and creaky, and the power cut in and out (we were told this was due to other guests whose kids were using a gaming console). The property was clean but the owner should take responsibility for upgrading facilities to provide a warm, comfortable sleep if they wish to charge competitive prices. Bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise for dogs barking throughout night. This is beyond the property's control, but felt it was worth mentioning for the benefit of other travellers.

Ambiance routarde On ne s'attendait pas à ce qu'il n'y ait pas de salle de bain dans le dortoir. La nuit, les chiens sont très bruyants

Au départ on nous avait affecté une chambre cagibi,des carrelages extérieurs cassés qui peuvent être dangereux,salle de bain en mauvais état,évacuation qui ne se fait pas et surtout des chiens qui aboient toute la nuit dans ce quartier de la ville.
